Bio

Hiii, I am Empour. I like roleplaying, but I have some kinda specific tastes. I have been doing this on-and-off for a few years, not always on this site. Be warned, my oldest stuff is exceptionally terrible.

I tend to prefer games which are not set in the present day. I like magic and stuff. Whether that magic takes the form of typical magical magic or "technology," I like it either way. I also loooove Pokemon: Mystery Dungeon and its universe, much more so than the standard one.

I like to create characters based on silly concepts, and then use them seriously to the best of my ability. If my characters sound a little bit ridiculous to you, that's probably intentional.

Previous highlights include:

A colonialist teenage witch, fresh out of magic school and ready to oppress some natives overseas for profit

A spacefaring civilization of communist pixies from beyond the galaxy

A scuba-wearing magical girl in a mysterious, creepy world of dreams and nightmares

A completely paralyzed blacksmith, who could do magnet magic or something

Hat

Valiant Village, Sawk and Throh Dojo, Afternoon

Hat continued to hide in Celty’s shadow, trying her best not to be noticed by her. Since the fighting had broken out, she’d just been running alongside the others, trying to keep near them. She didn’t want to get involved in any fights, and neither did they. Common interest is a wonderful thing.

From what she could overhear, not only had there been an actual attack by an outlaw on the town, but it had been the same one she’d chosen, the Scizor. To make matters worse, the Pokemon responsible for defeating him was here...

And he was a Lucario. Hat had expected a ghost type, or maybe even a psychic, but a Lucario? That was bad. Really, really, really bad. Lucario were rumored to be able to read your mind, without you even noticing. They were strong, fast, and clever, and she had no way of defending herself from being mind-read, identified, and locked up. She had to esca-

She couldn’t escape. After an attack like that, town security would be very high. She wouldn’t be able to get out without good reason.

No, she had to hide, somehow. She had to find a way to either conceal or disguise herself to the point that the Lucario wouldn’t be able to invade her mind.

But, how?
Shame. Oh well.

Anyway, sorry about being so quiet. Working on my next IC now.
*Sigh.* I think I might withdraw from this Rp.

I love the idea, but I feel like I'm just always struggling to keep up with everyone else and I'm slowing everyone else down as a result.

Don't sweat it. I think just about everyone feels the same way right now, the whole business with Flash was taken care of so quickly nobody had any time to respond before it was over.
Ooh, I see. Good to know, then. That's definitely going to be a huge letdown for her, she's going to need some serious wealth for her plans.
Don't go aura-revealing Hat's intentions quite yet. The moment Hat sees there's a Lucario, let alone a MEGA Lucario, in charge of the guild, she's going to be so overwhelmed by fear that it could potentially save her from being mind-read. That's my idea, anyway. Don't want her locked quite yet, I have an idea of something to do with Flash first.
Quick question, what's going to happen to Flash, now that he's been defeated and presumably captured? Will he be kept in holding in town, or taken away immediately?
Cool! An Absol! Where's he gonna be arriving?
I'm somewhat confused as to where the group Hat is with actually is right now. Are they at the dojo, with Spirit, or still on the way there?

Hat

Valiant Village, En Route to the Dojo, Afternoon

“Name’s Hat,” Hat said. She didn’t say anything more, and walked behind the others.

Hat didn’t really want to answer Celty’s question. She didn’t really know the answer to it. Following the others did give her time to think about it, though. Was she okay? She felt like she’d been thrown into the sea. She could swim, but everything was so much easier with the safety net of her team.

She continued to think it over as she looked around the town. Everyone here seemed to vibrant and happy. What did her family feel right now? Fear? Anger? Despair?

Hat didn’t, couldn’t know. She’d never been captured before, and she didn’t intend to be. Maybe she should just leave this place, track them down, and-

Suddenly, she was very nearly trampled by a group of massive, hurrying pokemon. She rolled out of the way, and got up soon enough to watch her assailants speed past them. They looked haggard, wounded. What had happened to them? They were very big pokemon, it must have taken a proper monster to do that kind of damage.

They looked to be heading in the same direction they were, too. Hat decided to ask them what happened if they met.

Now seemed like a good opening to speak up, actually. She did need to know more about the town, after all.

“Were those guys trained here?” she asked. She had no intention of actually joining the guild or whatever, but it was a natural thing for a Pokemon to seek out ways to become stronger. She told herself she was faking it, but in reality, Hat felt a small sort of attraction to the idea.
