The Second Ethiopian Empire Empire is ruled by the Holy Leader of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, the Coptica. The Coptica is said to be a descendent of Abraham, the founder of the Abrahamic Religions. The Copticas, while being religious leaders, are all in the same dynasties. Zakariah Abraham Zaile's father was the founder of the Second Ethiopian Empire, and Zakariah's son shall be the next Emperor.

History of the Nation:
The History of the Ethiopian Superpower began on February 2nd, 2017, when a huge amount of funding from the United States was given to Ethiopia because of the amount of insurgent groups in Somalia, Eritrea, Djibuti, and Sudan. Soon after that, Russia began funding of Ethiopia because of Russian tourists getting murdered in Ethiopia.

On September 16th 2017, Ethiopia invaded Somalia in an attempt to conquer it. Quickly, the Somali armies where destroyed by the Ethiopians and on December 25th, 2017, the Somalis gave up there nation to Ethiopia. Soon after this, The Ethiopians invaded Djibuti, and that war was easier then the one against the Somalis, and Ethiopia expanded again.

Soon after, Eritrea declared war on Ethiopia to expand into the disputed territories. Eritrea was successfully able to call in South Sudan to the war, which was just fuel for Ethiopia to fight harder. Eritrea was overpowered within 2 months, and South Sudan within 1, and Ethiopia expanded farther.

In Sudan, a Coup led to a war breaking out between Ethiopia and Sudan. This was the bloodiest and hardest fought of the Wars of Ethiopian Expansion, but in 2023, all of Sudan was occupied by the Ethiopians.

This though, was not the end of the Ethiopian warpath, as on May 15th, 2030, the Ethiopian Civil War began with the Government fighting against the Ethiopian Imperial Party. The nation itself was split, with everything North of Addis Ababa being kept in control of the Government, while everything below it was owned by the Ethiopian Imperial Party.

Around Ethiopia, the world was falling into chaos as World War Three began, with majority of the nations in World War Three picking sides for the two Ethiopian parties in the war. The Ethiopian government was originally winning, up until the death of the president and vice president in a bombing attack. The loss of both leaders with no true idea who the next leader would be caused chaos, which allowed the Ethiopian Imperial Party to start winning.

It stayed like this until 2032, until a new leader was elected. The Ethiopian government where successfully able to beat back the Ethiopian Imperial Party behind Addis Ababa. It stayed even until 2035 when revolters in Sodan and Eritrea joined the Ethiopian Imperial Party. This itself gave the edge to the rebels and in 2037, all of Sudan was occupied by the Ethiopian Imperial Party. In 2039, all of Ethiopia except Addis Ababa was occupied, and later that year, the leader of Ethiopia handed over the nation to the Ethiopian Imperial Party, and the Ethiopian Empire was born.

Since then, the Ethiopian Empire has been peaceful, but that can change at any moment. To the north, Islamic invaders threaten Ethiopia daily.

We as a human race survived World War Three without nuclear Devastation. In fact, World War Three did not have any Nukes dropped onto Earth. This though, does not mean Humans as a whole where not beaten down after the war, during and slightly after the war, nations fell and new rivalries where made. The East vs West rivalry that defined the 1900s and early 2000s are no longer how the alliance lines are drawn. Smaller alliances are made amongst nations, with group against group, nation against nation, this Newer World Order might be worse then the world we just escaped.

A Caliphate. A type of theocratic autocracy where the highest religious leader (Caliph) is also the highest political leader. The Caliph is the Chosen representative of Allah in the mortal world. The Shura, a gathering of community leaders elects the Caliph for life. Upon the Caliphs death, all the community leaders gather to choose the next Caliph. It is the Sunni Brotherhood party who presents the possible candidates to the Shura.

Oil, gas, agricultural products, industrial manufactured goods, Iron. Another great source of income to the Caliphate is the exploitation of the Suez Canal and the Bosphorus strait. Countries and companies have to pay special tributes to the Caliphate in order to make use of the sea lanes.

Due to the extremely fundamentalist interpretation of the Quran, sharia and other Islamic works the capitalist banking system has been replaced by Islamic banking which does not charge interest on their loans. Also the country is closed to all international companies that are not run by the Islamic banking principles. This has a negative impact on the countries economy.

People who refuse to convert can be punished by death of sold into slavery. Most people who identify with other religions than the Sunni Islam are slaves owned by religious fighters and leaders.

Economics:
As a result of the devastation caused by the Third World War and the destruction of trade between many countries following, the GEC became much more self-sufficient out of necessity, unable to support itself as it had before the War. Originally a small portion of the EU's budget, agriculture has become much more supported by the GEC, amounting to 40% of total spending as food imports are much less reliable. Although agriculture consumes a massive amount of the GEC's budget, the primary industries are manufacturing and renewable energy. As limited fossil fuels exist within the member states due to decades of pre-War consumption and lack of easily accessible reserves, renewable energy, primarily wind farms, geothermal vents, and solar power, have risen to power much of the territory. Limited nuclear power exists in certain area and research is being conducted into hydrogen fuel cells. Bioenergy is also a large industry, utilizing some of the reserves of crops to produce fuel.

Manufacturing centers around primarily consumer goods and large industrial equipment, with sectors such as military, small industrial equipment, and other items taking lesser importance. Electronics are a large sector of production, although chemicals and automotives, as well as pharmaceuticals, are the largest areas of industrial production in the GEC.

Ethnicities
Diverse to the point of equality between the larger nations, although smaller nations have a much smaller representation of ethnicity. Most people are Caucasian (67%), but there are many other ethnicities, primarily Arabic and African.

Religion:
No official state religion exists with the GEC, although the member state of Italy is a partial theocracy centered around Catholicism. Open worship is allowed by the central government, although member states may have other restrictions as long as they do not go against the laws set in place by parliament. Tolerance is promoted as a means to ensure peace although prejudices do still exist in large numbers, although religion has started to fade. Most people are atheists or agnostic (48% of the population), with the rest being mainly Muslim and Catholic, although other religions do exist. No official census has been taken on the subject of religion due to it's sensitive nature.

Main Industries: One of the overarching goals of the P.S.R.C. is to reverse the pre-war decline of the rural population and to avert famine through communal agriculture; under the “Revolutionary Agrarian Reform Law” the government seized thousands of acres that were once owned by pre-war corporations, wealthy landowners, and other “enemies of the people” in order to covert the arable land into large-scale collective agricultural projects. Special emphasis has also been placed on so-called “heavy industry” and The Economic Planning Commission has begun transitioning the remnants of the once blooming pre-war automotive industry into combat vehicle production. Alberta is not only the largest producer of oil and natural gas in the P.S.R.C., it is largest producer of these products in the entirety of Canada thusly allowing the P.S.R.C. the ability to undertake large scale industrialization.
