Current I always wonder why birds stay in the same place when they can fly anywhere on the earth. Then I ask myself the same question. - Harun Yahya

Hello everyone!

I love roleplaying. That is why I am here. And you are too I suppose! So we already have that much in common! Sweet!

I will play anything with a thick enough plot. My favorites include fantasy and magic themes.

I'm not sure what else to say here.

See you in game!

An interesting question Gisk (about raven-claw)! I should add it to the FAQ... It is an unconventional swap! Perhaps even controversial. (Feel free to play out the question in game!) Flitwick is still a teacher at Hogwarts (I'll post a more complete teacher list soon) but has stepped down from his position as headmaster. He feels like he is finally feeling his age and wanting to retire. Unless we are still hashing things out with your character in a PM, you may totally start playing at Kings Cross! So, as we GM's are still discussing some plot details! So it's pretty much a character sandbox until we catch up ^_^
Hey Tali! Good to see you ^_^

Hello! This is an interest check for our lovely little Harry Potter game Hogwarts: Ignition! Our own story takes place years after Voldemort and Harry Potter did battle upon Hogwarts soil. Harry's victory created an age of peace began for muggles and wizards alike. Death eaters were arrested or reformed. No one worried about dark wizards, the world was confident in the peace that they had been earned. A dark cloud was forming, something that neither the ministry nor the schools would be prepared for. ~Prolouge~ It was a dark and cool night, but all seemed peaceful on the grounds of Durmstrang. A blizzard had buried the school earlier that day, but the headmaster walked the ground as if impervious to the cold. Students and most of the teachers had yet to arrive. The headmaster was one of the few men on campus. They were there to protect it and make it ready for the year. Off in the distance a wolf howled and the headmaster smiled. “Only a few weeks away from the beginning of the term for the new and returning students.” He said this he approached the guardian of the front gate. At this hour he knew the guard on duty should be Owen, who was also an old friend. The Headmaster placed his hand on Owen’s shoulder. “This will be a great semester. I can feel it in my bones. Don’t you agree?” Owen didn’t answer. He did not even turn his head to see who called to him. His body seemed unusually cold and stiff under the headmasters hand. The Headmaster turned the soldier toward him, and gasped in horror: Owen’s face was distorted, the mouth opened and his eyes screwed up as if screaming, the grotesque expression was petrified, perfectly still. Frozen and lifeless. The headmaster let go of the soldier, who fell to the ground in a stiff heap. He stumbled backwards, slipping on ice and falling to his knees. He heard a voice from above him. “You are right headmaster, this is going to be a good year. You know what I also think?” A tall man bent down over the headmaster. “I think that there is a problem. Your grounds are not secure enough to protect your students. No… this will not do at all! I feel that stronger leadership is needed… yes… a new headmaster…” The man smiled a wicked smile, showing his awful crooked teeth. This was the last face the headmaster saw before a jet of light struck his chest. The headmaster felt immense pain, his face contorted with agony. Then it became still. Stiff. Lifeless. The man kicked aside the brittle headmaster. “I see there is an opening! Well then, it is time to call in the staff and send out acceptance letters. We have many dark wizards to teach this year.” He strolled through the courtyard and into the school… He was not alone. He was followed by a wolf, and four other wizards… ~~ Relevant Information: Here is the OOC! Here is the IC! Check out the OOC for character sheet, FAQ, and all that jazz! We will be playing first years and teachers! We plan to follow through story that will span several years just like in the books! "See you in game!" ~Eyeris

Leaves in shades of crimson, yellow, and orange littered the grounds of Hogwarts, signaling the changing of the season and the start of a new school year. Faculty rush to complete plans and add the finishing touches before the students, old and new, arrive. One would think from the cheerful mood upon of the grounds that the battle of Hogwarts, where so many great wizards and witches had died, was only a dream… or a nightmare. Professors and headmasters alike exchanged greetings, congratulations, and praise. They were all excited for the arrival of the Hogwarts Express. Meanwhile, that very train waited on platform nine-and-three-quarters at Kings Landing Station. The train roared it’s heavy engine, while witches and wizards gathered around it’s red exterior bidding their families goodbye and gathering their belongings. It would be a long journey, it would seem longer for the first years! Timid and curious things! Most of the older students had already found their friends. They gathered close to their trusted companions, while the first years seemed a bit lost in the haze and glory. Kind adults and older students nudged them in the right direction when needed. The young ones would get the hang of things soon enough, and perhaps next year they could pass the same kindness along to the next generation of students. Tradition has always been important at Hogwarts. It was closing in quickly on the time for the train to depart and the loud whistle signaled to everyone that what they were to leave this instant! The remaining people hurried onto the train and found a compartment of people to sit with. Once all aboard the train began to smoke, pulling forward steady as a sea of heads and hands stuck out the windows, waving goodbye to their loved ones. This would be a year at Hogwarts they would soon not forget.
