Actually if you, me or CaptnBoobgrab could do so that would be very helpful! CaptnBoobgrab suggested that I'd put a list of accepted characters in the first post, but my phone tends to screw up when I'm editing long posts and most of the time, I'm using my phone to get online.

Veleno sat at the table quietly, staring at the white wall in front of her, lost in her thoughts. Ever since she had been put in the asylum, the thing she was doing most was thinking. Thinking about what had happened. It had all just happened so suddenly, one moment she and her father had been yelling at each other and the other her father got an accidental scratch and was dying. It had went so much faster than before, too. As a disease, the venom would last at least a day or two, but her father and mother had been dead within an hour. Her mother had tried to conform her, hugged her, but when she had tried to push her away Veleno's nail scratched onto her mother's skin and not much later, she was put in her grandma's house.

She looked down at the table, where a white sheet of paper was lying in front her. On the paper was an unfinished drawing, of a woman peacefully sitting between the flowers, smiling. Next to the drawing was an eraser and a pencil. Veleno sighed and picked up the pencil, continuing with the drawing. While she was busy, one of the things on her mind was how she could only wish she was she was as peaceful as the woman she was drawing. She had never liked her power, but after what happened to her parents, she hadn't felt good again anymore at all.

Shadowreaper, your character seems to have two superpowers, one of which is too powerful in both my and CaptnBoobgrab's opinion. You could go with the mind controlling, but I'm going to ask you to put a limit to it.

As for the others I'm afraid not everyone's accepted, not because the character sheets aren't good, but because if we did accept all of you, that would be too much to control and would only let you wait longer for a reply. IC explanation

I'm not crazy. I know what they say and I know that that's why they put me and the others in here, but we're not insane. There's really something different about us, we're special. We are gifted, we have superpowers. They call us insane, say that superpowers only exist in comics books and movies, but we know better. We have discovered our powers on our own, saw them, used them, each single one of us did. We're not living in our own little fantasy worlds, seeing and hearing things that aren't real. It's all real, but they just won't believe it and put us here, in an asylum. And we can't prove them wrong. Our powers don't work in here. Something, or someone, in this place, is blocking our superpowers. So in here, we're just a bunch of heroes and villains without powers. We're stuck in this place, but we need to get out. We can't stay in here, we need to escape, to break free from this place. I don't know how we can get away from here, but we just have to. Before we really go insane.

OOC explanation

In this rp, you'll be rping a character with superpowers, who may be a hero, villain or neutral, whichever you prefer. Because of their claims of having superpowers, people consider your character insane and as a result, they are now in an asylum. Your goal will be to escape from the asylum with the other characters, a task made more difficult thanks to the guards, and the fact that as long as you're in the asylum, your character's powers are dampened, which also makes it harder for your character to prove that they're not insane.

Rules

-CaptBoobgrab is Co GM of the rp.
-Each character can only have one superpower, not more. This also means that if you can control fire, you can't control the other three elements as well.
-Please try to keep things a little varied. You can pick any superpower you want, but I don't want to end up with all characters having the same superpowers.
-Please just don't overpower your character. Even if you have a strong superpower, than that still doesn't mean you can beat everyone and everything.
-As long as you're in the asylum, your superpower doesn't work. No exceptions.
-No god modding and mary sues.
-A little violence and gore is fine, but keep it to a minimum.
-Please rp any sexual scenes through pm.
-If you want to quit or can't reply for a while, let us know.
-You can have a maximum amount of three characters.
-When you've posted something, wait until everyone else has replied as well before posting again.

Name: Veleno
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Appearance: Veleno is a young woman with straight, black hair reaching over her shoulders, and deep purple eyes that most of the time either hold an unfriendly, or scared look. Her skin is a dead pale colour and she has a thin, seemingly fragile build. She has four sharp, almost fang like teeth, two at her upper and two at her lower jaw. Her usually deep purple painted fingernails also end in a sharp point. Her clothing, much like the rest of Veleno's appearance, is almost always black, with a bit of deep purple mixed in to match her eyes and fingernails.
Personality: If anything, Veleno appears to be not even close to friendly, keeping people at distance by putting up a mean attitude. This is a way to "protect" people from her, as she sees it, to prevent herself from hurting them, something she's constantly scared of. On the inside Veleno is far from the mean girl she's pretending to be, although quite naive. The girl prefers to think of herself as neutral, but is easily influenced.
Superpower: Injecting a deadly venom into the body of her victim through her nails and teeth. As any scratch or bite, despite how small would work, Veleno has trouble controlling it and sees her power more like a curse than a gift.
Biography: When Veleno was young, both she and her parents already suspected something was wrong: pets would get sick often from a small scratch, just like children at school if she had been into a fight, but never anything too serious. She was told to keep it a secret, just as her parents did. Everything went well, until she got older and the venom became stronger, deadly. Instead if sickness it caused death, which she realised after having been in a fight with her parents. Just two scratches, ones that were barely bleeding, had been enough to kill both of them. Veleno was told to live with her grandmother, who she eventually decided to trust with her secret. Only a day after she told it, Veleno was put in the asylum.
