I really want a dark romance with the plot below!
While passing through a forest, a mercenary targets a group of travelers, intending to steal their supplies; food, money, first aid, any valuables. During the attack, he swiftly kills several of them, doing so before they could properly react. Amidst the chaos, he stumbles upon a startling sight: a young woman chained to a man, clearly a prisoner. She’s a demihuman with a mix of human and fox features.
He kills the man, freeing her from captivity. However, this act leaves him with an unexpected problem: the girl is now determined to follow him. She’s stubborn and insistent, refusing to be left behind after everything she’s endured. Despite his desire to be alone and his initial annoyance at her persistence, she insists on sticking close. The mercenary doesn’t want to be bothered, especially not by someone so clingy and persistent, but he finds himself unable to get her to go away.
