Bio

I consider myself an adaptive writer. I've RPed in some high casual-low advanced RPs and some RPs that are nearly one liners but I try to stay consistent at least with my characters I make. Ive been on here for some time (passed the time it claims. Just forgot the name of my old accounts but whatev). I am interested in high casual/ low-advanced rps and have been trying to get a few off the ground. If anyone is interested in Co-GMing with me just drop me a message or something and we can discuss ideas and whatnot

@Blizz it looks good but as with all of the CSs, you must have a real life picture of your character and then the in-depth descript is for the little extra stuff. overall it looks fine but that RL pic is needed :)

Eagle’s Peak, Spirit’s Crossing

They walked back towards the mountain along the a trail that turned into a fork down the road. To the left, was Dovahmere - a place that Sulleykaar didn’t plan to go to for quite some time, if ever again with Kiara around. The second lead to Spirit’s Crossing, a sort of naturally made forest opening with a creek that gently ran down a tier level hill, surrounded by trees and foliage with beautiful rare flowers and berries. At the top of the tier, was a willow-like tree This was known as The Spirit of Eagle’s Peak. The sound of water trickling over the pebbles and down to the next part of the miniature waterfall tickled the ears as the birds and other animal life made it feel more alive.

Kiara walked beside Sulleykaar rather quietly. She was still upset with him, but not willing to be vocal about it. Her silence would speak more volumes, as it was rare. She snuggled up in the oversized robe and looked around as she walked. The scenery was gorgeous, rivaling that of her own home. Was he bringing her here for training, or as an apology?

”I think this will be the perfect spot to practice. Though, I should give you a warning.” He spoke calmly as he glanced at her before walking over and resting on a nearby rock. Kiki smiled at him. A warning about what? This seemed lovely so far… and then she remembered that the last time he lured her into feeling content, he had trapped her in ice for hours straight. She narrowed her eyes and kept her guard up this time. ”The point of this exercise and the way I have to teach it will get on your nerves...pun intended.” A muffled chuckle from his own corny joke.

”When don’t you get on my nerves?” she retorted and smirked. Well, she could recall at least one time that he didn’t. ”Please...I hardly get on your nerves.”. He got up off the rock and moved towards the tree where there was a much nicer and larger boulder that rested underneath of it. He gestured for her to come over to the boulder and sit down. When he touched it, invisible to the naked eye, magic coursed through it. Sulley then sat on the rock and crossed his legs as he rested his hands on his legs and closed his eyes. Kiara smirked and crossed her arms.

”Oh no, I might be a brat and a bitch as you said, but you know I’m not that stupid. That’s not going to work again.” she said, rather proud of herself for not succumbing to the temptation of snuggling up in such a pretty place.

”You’re a brat but not a bitch, you do bitch but you’re not a bitch. Now...The earlier we start this, the quicker I can teach you some basic magic, and maybe some new moves.” He opened an eye and peeked over at her. She still hadn’t moved from her spot.

”Fine...Have it your way then.” With that, he snapped his fingers, the ground seemed to tremble as the the trees shook. From beneath her, like a viper, vines - magically infused with Sulley’s magick - wrapped around her ankles and dragged her into the ground up to knee height before another set shot out and wrapped around her arms, yanking her backwards onto the grass. They tightened with every bit of resistance she gave. Then what the weirdest part was, the ground seemed to ripple as she began to move towards him and the boulder. Vines carved their way over to him but filled in the earth behind them as they moved, as if the ground hadn’t been touched at all. It took some time but eventually they lifted her up and onto the boulder, a few tingly zaps to her bottom and soon enough she was magnetically stuck to the boulder.

Kiara struggled in the vine’s grip. ’This insufferable bastard…’ she thought, jerking this way and that, only to have the vines tighten around her ankles and torso. How dare he try to use her own element against her? Just as she was about to retaliate, she felt herself being pulled forward through the earth. And just like that, he had spelled her to the boulder, as she’d thought he would. At least she had her pride this time, but that didn’t keep her from glowering at him.

He went to say something witty and possibly annoying but instead closed his mouth and smiled. ”Next time I’ll just ask nicely for you to come with me. Though, knowing that you're as stubborn and hard-headed as me, you won’t.” He grinned before taking on a more teacher-like posture. ”Now. I want you to close your eyes and focus in on the water, the flow of it, the trickling of the waterfalls, and focus only on that.” He he spoke calmly as he took a deep breath of his own and closed his eyes.

Kiara looked at him inquisitively. That was it? Surely she didn’t need to be spelled to a boulder to do that. Regardless, she closed her eyes and exhaled. There were many sounds in the forest, it was hard to focus on just one, but Kiara picked it out. The trickling of the waterfall, it was like a childhood lullaby, the sound of--

Thwack The vine retracted from the side of her head and returned to the ground. It was as if the ground never moved from his position. Kiara jumped and her eyes snapped open, shattering the vision in her mind. ”Hey!”

”Hm?” He cracked open and eye and frowned. ”Kiara, concentrate on the water please.” he said calmly as he closed his eye again. He seemed to fall into a deep trance as he sat there.

”But--- hrrng…” she started to protest, but it fizzled out into a grumpy sound. Kiara closed her eyes and let out another sigh/exhale. The water, the water…. Yes, the sound was like the memory of sunny days with the selkies... and taking--

Thwack thwack Once again the vines disappeared into the ground and Sulley remained unmoved, nor did it seem like he was paying any attention to it. Kiara didn’t jump or make any noise this time, but it still jarred her thoughts.

”I said concentrate…” He stated with a hint of annoyance.

”I am! Quit it!” she hissed through her teeth. Sunny days with the selkies and taking naps in her bedroom. The stream that ran through the castle sounded just like that. She was even starting to feel sleepy because of the familiarity of the white noise.

Thwack.. thwack-thwack thwack

”GODS! Can you stop?!” she screeched and glared at him with a tinge of red clouding her steel-colored eyes.

”I’m enjoying the peaceful ambience of the forest. You’re distracting me from it.” He said as he exhaled.

”NO! You’re distracting me!” she accused, totally abandoning the exercise.

”I’m not distracting you…” He cracked open a lazy eye and frowned. You are distracting you...I’m teaching.”

She rolled her eyes and huffed out an angry breath. She pinched her eyes closed again.

Thwack Sulley’s mouth twitched into a smile momentarily before returning to a calm relaxed position.

Her body was rigid at first, but she slowly started to relax. She tried to focus not only at listening to the water, but trying to imitate it. Water doesn’t throw a fit when something gets in it’s way, it just moves around it. She would ignore Sulley’s irritations to the point where she didn’t notice them.

ThwackThwackThwackThwackThwackThwackThwack The intensity of the vines increased. If she managed to fully block them out, she would be able to pass this simply annoying but effective test.

Where was the water going? Where was it coming from? The young artist painted a picture in her mind of what the stream and waterfall might look like, based only on the sounds it made.

”Good Kiara. Keep it up. You’re doing great.”

She had steeled her body to the whips of the vine, but not Sulley’s voice. She opened her eyes and smiled at the praise, breaking her concentration.

”Now I want you to bring your attention to my voice and just listen to my words.” Kiara pinched her eyes closed again. ’Oops’ she thought to herself and tried to get back into it.

Thwack

”I want you to think of those things that irritate you, that agitate, that really get under your skin and I want you to let them float away. Don’t break concentration on the water but let it guide you.” He said within another exhale. Kiara did as she was instructed, trying to flow like the water. Thinking of things that irritated her mostly involved Sulleykaar, as his transgressions were the most fresh in her mind. Her brow furrowed as she frowned, letting go wasn’t so easy, it went against her nature.

”I know I haven’t been the kindest or most endearing teacher, but I am looking out for you and your family and those in the queendom. What I did to you and your family was wrong...and I don’t ever expect you to forget about it or to forgive me...but for now those emotions will have to be put aside if not removed entirely. After this is all over...If what you said to me at the lake still stands, I will gladly accept my fate.” He said somewhat somberly, though he figured that she had the idea at this point on what to do, so he felt it was right to say what he needed to say.

Kiara tried not to listen to his words and instead focused on her task. Like he said, if she passed this, he would teach her more. She wanted to learn more, she wanted to be able to protect herself. So, she let it go… there was a change in the air that one could feel as the tension in her was released. Kiara watched it leave, down the waterfall and off the edge of the planet in her mind. It made her feel… tired. She might have even started to doze off.

The relaxed look on Sulley turned to a grin as he opened his eyes, the vine’s torrent slowly died out as the magnetic pull from the rock ceased. He brought two fingers up to her forehead and laid them against her briefly before he tapped her forehead. ”Wake up, sunshine!” he singsonged.

Kiara startled ”Hmm? What?” She blinked a few times and then smiled. His was a handsome face to open your eyes to. There were a few moments of silence before she asked, sheepishly: ”Did I pass?”

”You have only one last thing to learn before I teach Old Scale to you but-”

With a bright smile on his face, he hopped off the rock and walked over to the water. Kiara smiled eagerly and slipped off after him. The hem of the robe dragged behind her as she followed.

Sulleykaar’s hand glowed a bluish-white as he tapped the water and, like a whip, snapped his hand outwards towards the sky. A jaded ice pillar, with almost crystallized, dagger-like points protruded from all sides of it. He then stomped the ground and said pillar was heaved into the air. While it floated for half a second, he spun with lightning speed and precision as he hit the back end of it, a blast of wind followed behind it as the pillar shot off like a bullet into the sky. As he watched it disappear he turned to her and smiled. ”Let’s begin learning some magic shall we?” He raised a brow and smiled, his arms crossed but relaxed.

Kiara quirked an eyebrow. Magick? He was going to teach her something other than this ‘Old Scale’... she’d never heard of such a thing. She had magick, of course, all faeries did… maybe this was something special, or different. ”Okay~” she said excitedly, bouncing on her heels.

”What do you know of magic?” He asked her, trying to get a feel for what she understood and what she knew about it. He raised an inquisitive eyebrow.

”I only really know about mine… it’s old magick. My professors said that elementals use some of the oldest forces out there, it’s connected to our souls. And…” she paused and looked up to the sky where the pillar had gone. ”My emotions.” she said, mocking his judgemental tone.

He rolled his eyes at the sarcastic remark, letting her slide this time. ”Magick also does not just come from the soul…” He reach his hand out loosely as light gathered from the air. It gave off a light ring before he flicked his fingers, letting the light disperse into the air. ”Yes...Old magick, I’m very familiar with it. A lot of the magick I do is old magick. But there is other magick out there and this comes from your surroundings. It’s not….old magick, where it can be conjured up out of the blue like so-” He snapped his fingers as a small flame burst forth from the snap and rested on his hand. Flickering back and forth from the wind. ”But there is elemental manipulation. Using what is already created and bending it to your will. Fire, water, wind, earth, light and darkness. They can all be manipulated. They can all bend to the will of the user. It just rests on imagination.” He cocked his head to the side.

”Your quickness to anger, your stubbornness...I would say that fire and earth are your fortes, hm?” He said as he walked a few feet from her, facing her direction. Kiki frowned slightly and shook her head.

”No, just earth. My mother was a fire elemental though… my birth mother.” she replied and then a ghost of a smile appeared on her lips. ”Father says I’ve got her personality, and her hair.” she pinched a red curl in her fingers and then released it.

He deadpanned. ”Yeah. That definitely is your mother’s. Your father from what I’ve seen is nowhere near as hot-headed as you are…” He sighed and raised his brows. She giggled at his remark. That was indeed one of the ways that she and Cynbel were nothing alike, they had their similarities, though.

”Then that’s what we’ll start you off with today…” He interlocked his fingers and rested his hands at his waist.

”Okay… but…. There’s no fire around?” she said in a question statement hybrid. She would need flames if she was supposed to try to manipulate them, wouldn’t she?

The most mischievous, sadistic, and creepy smile he had ever given her was now, upon his face, as he let out an eerie chuckle. ”Do you know what I was called before you and I went off to train?” He asked as the center of his chest up to his throat slowly glowed a dark orange and red. The next sentences had fire dripping out of his mouth and onto the ground, burning the area around him to nothing but ash. ”I was the Wyrm of Fire, prophesied to scorch the earth with hellfire - flames so hot that they could obliterate the souls of the dead.” His little spell began. As he took in a hefty breath. ”We will start with simply blocking it. Imagine creating a wall in front of you...Otherwise you’ll get burnt. Dragon Fire, especially from me, carries a different kind of heat. Heat backed by magick, so get ready..”

”Woah, woah, wait!” she held up her hands defensively ”Can’t I, practice first, or something… I happen to really like the way I look. Like this. Not burnt.” she asserted.

He looked looked at her with a cocked eyebrow of confusion before shrugging. ”I think, when it comes to magick...The best way to learn is by doing.” He smiled before getting serious as a torrent flame shot towards her. Not at her, but off to the side slightly. Kiki’s eyes widened and she threw her arms up to block her face. When she did, a huge pillar of stone rose from the earth between Sulley and herself. The flames didn’t hit it, though, they went off to the side.

The flames shot passed her with a massive roar. Sulley’s eyes glowed amber as he brought his hands in front of him and seemed to grip the air as he yanked down and to the side of him. The tail end of the flame passed Kiara with a slight crackle but behind her the sound of the flames shifting could be heard as they came barreling towards her from behind like a serpent on its prey. They would come close enough to singe her but not engulf her. He wanted her to take control of them.

”You’re your mother’s child. You have the capabilities of controlling this. Fire is an untamable animal but it can be manipulated to a user's advantage! Earth will stop it in its tracks, water will snuff it out…” He was telling her the answer on how to do this.

There was a flash of fear in her eyes as she turned and backed up against the stone pillar she made. The flames had turned around and she once again put up her arms to block it. Just before the fire reached her, it hit a wall and spread out to either side perpendicular to it. Her eyes were wide, unable to tell if she did that, or if Sulley stopped it before it could hurt her. Either way, she was grateful and let out a deep exhale.

”Good...Again.” Another stream of fire escaped his mouth and barreled towards her, this time, slightly closer than before. She repeated her actions and blocked the flame again. A wide smile peeled across her face and she laughed gleefully. This was the most fun training had been yet.

This had gone on for a little while, slowly moving the full stream closer and closer to her until it was directly on top of her. He had congratulated her for her effort and begun to randomize where it came from or he would have it change directions at the last moment to help keep the unpredictability. For the most part, Kiara kept up with the changes. Once, though, she didn’t catch it in time and the flames scorched her left elbow, to which he was willing to stop for a second for her to regain herself. She insisted that she was fine and they keep going, but it hurt like hell; She’d never been burned before. They picked it back up and even Sulley was enjoying himself, finding himself laughing in joy of her progress.

”Hahaha, more!” Kiara demanded playfully and swished her bony hips, twisting and turning to dodge. ”I want to learn more! Teach me something else?” This time it was less of a demand and more of a bright-eyed question. Those eyes were now a new color for Sulleykaar to see, a glittering yellow with flecks of pink. The longer she looked at him, the more pink there would be, the longer she danced around dodging fire, the more yellow, but both colors were always present. Kiara darted away and peeked out from behind the other side of the huge willow-like tree, giggling.

”You can dodge them but now I want you to bend them to your will! Use the wind to bend them!” He responded as he forced his hands forward and let the flames fly. Kiara wasn’t sure how to bend them. Blocking came easy, as it was defensive. She was pretty good at forcing her will on people, maybe flames could be similar. The next time she rose her hands, she focus not on making a wall, but on pushing the flames back towards Sulley. It worked…. For a little while, and then they shot back towards her and she had to duck out of the way.

As they passed over her, he took the reigns again. ”Be the wind and change its direction!” The fire seemed to slow down mid air before violently returning to its original target, Kiara.

”Be the wind…” she repeated to herself and gestured widely with her arms. She imagined wrapping the flames up into a whirlwind. She imagine it, and so it was. With a loud ‘woosh’ sound, the fire swirled up and to the left, twisting upwards toward the sky before blossoming out like a firework. Kiara was was so excited she clapped her hands together and looked over to Sulleykaar for her ‘atta girl’.

His grin was wide now as he watched the fire raise to the air and showered into a fire flower. An idea struck him and he stood there for a moment and watched the flower of flames disperse in the air. The dragon reeled back again as another, much large torrent of dragon fire spewed out of his mouth but instead of traveling towards her, he shot it upward and gathered it into a small ball as he closed his hands. His claws came back to the center of his chest interlocked together, the tips of his fingers rolled into each other. A minute or two passed as he locked eyes with hers.

”Dodge, manipulate and dodge again. I want you to evenly distribute how you take these on and believe me -- I will not go easy.” He stated as his hands stretched out wide.

”Wouldn’t want you to, Kitten.” she retorted, crouching in preparation.

”Then here it comes, Vo Hahdrim!” The fire flickered and rolled over itself as it formed into a massive wall of flames behind him. With the snap of his fingers the wall burst into one hundred smaller serpent-like tendrils aimed directly for Kiara.

Kiara looked up wide-eyed as the fire literally started raining down on her. Her first reaction was to block the strikes, so she did. She remembered that she was supposed to be alternating, so she tried to incorporate more manipulation. Block, manipulate, block, repeat. The strikes were coming so rapidly that she physically could not stop moving. She was spinning like a violent ballet dancer, the flames twirling around her like a cocoon before they dissipated in bursts. A couple of shots broke through the windwall barrier she had formed, flames licking angrily at her feet. She yelped and narrowly avoided getting burned again. Kiki tried to remember her training, to concentrate, and she focused only on the flames; Not her pain, or her exhaustion, but on controlling the fire completely. It seemed like hours had passed once the last fireball was slung back toward the sky.

The faerie stared up as the ball of fire shattered into tiny fizzles of flame at her behest. Her small chest rose and fell in heavy pants as the exhaustion started to weigh down on her. She tried to say something, but she was breathing too heavily to form words. Kiara looked over to Sulleykaar reluctantly, half expecting him to challenge her further.

Sadly, she was right, as a single fireball was shot low in her direction. However, the vines from earlier wrapped around her leg and yanked backward. With the fireball’s path and the vine’s now intervening, she would get a face full of dragon fire. Of course he wouldn't stop there. Sulley had stayed at a distance for most of the training, but now thought it would be a good time to get in close. He sprinted to the side of the fireball, touching it with his fingertips as the soon were engulfed by his own flames and transferred them to his second hand and his feet. Now, with flaming claws and feet, he rushed in towards her, leaping into the air with his foot high up, ready to come crashing down with an heated axe kick.

Kiara stopped the fireball just before it struck her and jolted it down toward the vine that had anchored her foot down. The vegetation sizzled away and Kiara commanded the fire back up. Sulleykaar had taken some of the flames and coated his hands and feet. She tried to do the same thing, but he interrupted her by leaping into the air and crashing down to kick her. The faerie rolled away and guided what was left of the flames to follow her. She pulled them to her own hands and feet as she stood up. Kiki sprinted at the dragon with her flaming fists poised to throw punches. Unlike his, however, she hardened her own into the strength and density of obsidian, masked by the flames. At this point, she was on about her third wind, and wasn’t certain how much longer she could keep at it.

He watched her as she rolled away only to chase after his student, leaping back when she had gotten back up and sprinted towards him. He readied himself and Kiara reeled back, slugging him directly in his chest with her right hand. The loud crack it made rang through the quiet serenity of the area, like two boulders colliding. The flames around that fist flared out it when it connected. He felt the impact rattle his body, but there was no time to think of the pain. He instinctively, as she retracted, bent her wrist down and back as he chopped in between her joint, causing it to look like a rigid snake. Kiara cried out as the bones in her wrist were bent painfully in the wrong direction. He stepped inward with his left foot behind hers and lifted the back of her knee upwards and twisted his body to the side and down, causing her to sprawl outward on the ground.

”Oof--Ahh! … hehh… hehh.” The rocky earth was suddenly pressing into her back. Her wrist was figuratively on fire and she pathetically slapped the flames off of her left hand against Sulleykaar’s side as he loomed over her. Her chest rose and caved wildly as she looked up at him. ”Hehh…” she panted and smiled up at him through, or even because of, the pain.

”You did well, Vo Hahdrim...I guess we will it call it quits for now and just enjoy--”

Kiara hooked her free hand behind his head and gripped a fistful of his hair. She pulled him down and herself up to crush her lips against his. The kiss didn’t last long, as she had to pull away to catch her breath from the exertion. Her nerves were dancing beneath her skin, electric with the adrenaline of the fight, her eyes were mostly pink now with flecks of golden yellow.

”The…..ambience….” His words faltered slightly as he locked eyes with hers. Hers were so interesting, always changing shades and hues, and he had never really asked much about them. He plopped down next to her and looked towards the special tree. ” Your eyes, why do they always change, hm? I feel like it deals with things you experience, but I can’t figure out what. Emotions perhaps?” He glanced over at her.

Kiara rolled over onto her strong elbow to face him, propping her head up and sweeping those eyes in question along him before bringing them to meet his gaze. ”Perceptive.” she noted. ”All elemental fey have eyes like mine. It is connected to our emotions, just like our magick. I’ve never seen them actually change…” she blinked and then smiled. “What color are they now?” Kiara asked curiously.

”How about I show you.” he said smoothly as his eyes let off a white smokey fume. He brought his hands up to either side of her temple and drew them back to his own. An ectoplasmic like string tugged against her skin as he attached it to his own temple.

”Dovahyah” And with those words, her vision became his as he looked into her eyes. Kiara watched as her own eyes widened in awe.

”Woah!” she remarked, even more surprised to be able to see her own lips moving. It was like some crazy out of body experience. She studied the color of her eyes. They were almost all yellow now. ”Can you make them change?” she asked and reached up to touch his cheek. But it looked like her cheek from this view. How wonderfully strange...

He smiled at her, though she wouldn’t see it as he leaned into her, studying her eyes for a moment before placing a curved index finger under her chin. He lifted her face up towards his as he gently pressed his lips against her’s, his eyes never closing for her to see. It was a bizarre feeling to kiss herself. Of course, it only looked like she was, she still felt with her own body. The yellow in her eyes darkened and shifted shades closer to pink. She watched the color shifting with the same awe that she looked at most shiny things.

He pulled away and looked her up and down, forgetting that she could see what he saw. Kiara giggled at how silly she looked in the robes. She figured she looked goofy, but that blatant up-down glance confirmed it. ”You really do look like little girl playing dress up…” He teased. To that, she smirked and shrugged one shoulder out of the robes.

”A little girl, huh?” she asked playfully.

He cocked his head to the side before deciding to lay on his back. ”Not now Kiara… I would like to enjoy a moment without you trying to jump into my proverbial pants.” He sighed as he glanced over at her, his hands resting behind his head with his legs crossed.

Kiara sighed in a pout and rolled onto her back as well, waiting to have her own vision back. It was disappointing, but probably for the best… she was tired. ”Thanks for today.” she said uncharacteristically. Yesterday’s Kiara would have held a pathetic grudge about not getting what she wanted. Today’s Kiara was patient, for the time being, at least.

”I told you I would train you, and I didn’t lie about that. Next time I’ll show you some water techniques.” He looked over at her before a twitch came across his mouth. ”And, if you're not exhausted, maybe we could have some other fun...Maybe...I only hope you can last longer than last time, hmhmhmhmhmhm.” He gave a deep muffled chuckle, releasing his hold on her vision.

Kiara smirked at the taunt. ”I’ll have to work on it… I’ve got a good teacher, so it shouldn’t take long.” Kiki sat up and inspected the burn on her left elbow. She winced as she twisted it to get a better look. She stood up and walked over to the trickling stream beside the willow tree. Kneeling down, she scooped up some of the water and poured it over her burn.

”Dragon fire is the realm's’ hottest fire, but you were lucky I only used that instead of my infamous Hellfire. That pain would be tenfold, and I feel like I could guarantee the heat would’ve been enough to peel flesh from bone.” He stood up and made his way over to her. Kiara lifted her head and made a face he couldn’t see from behind. ‘Braggart’ she thought before flicking her right wrist and opening up a large crack in the earth beneath his feet for him to fall in.

He could feel the ground giving way and looked at her, perplexed, as he slid with the parting earth, bringing him to a point where his legs were parallel to the ground. ”That wasn’t very nice.” He said with a smirk as he flicked his own wrist, causing the water next to her to shoot off into her face like a jetstream.

She coughed and giggled, swatting the water away. ”You talk too much. I’m just trying to enjoy the ambience.” she mocked him, smirking over her shoulder. She pinched her fingers together and closed the crevasse before standing up and tearing a hem of the robe off to wrap around her elbow.

He laughed at her attempt to mock him from what he said earlier only to uncharacteristically gasp at the sound of the hem ripping.

”M-M-M-My robe…” he squeaked, his eye twitching in the process.

Training was going to be now doubled for that, and it would start with a nice long jog tomorrow followed by some weight lifting and other fun fun things. He returned to normal as he coughed to get her attention. Kiara looked at him curiously, slowly winding the fabric around her elbow. She had to use her teeth to tie the knot. She was a princess, she deserved the finest of bandages for her wounds.

”That’s how I felt about my arm. Maybe you should take better care of your precious things.” she antagonized in Kiki fashion.

He listened to her as he slowly stayed the twitching and just left a creepy smile on his face. ”You’re absolutely right, Kiara. I will start taking better care of my precious things bright and early tomorrow.”

Kiara raised an eyebrow and shook her head. ”I’ll fix it back at the den. Better than it was before, I promise. We should get you something to eat, though… wouldn’t want you to start looking like a skeleton.”

”Or seeing you as an appetizer, hmhmhmhm” He quipped.

”I’d make a much better dessert.” she fired back.

”I was just thinking that.” He grinned. They both laughed at that and headed back on the path toward the den. Kiara peeked in bushes for fruits on the walk. She picked some that she recognized and some that she didn’t, offering them to Sulley in turn, which he accepted kindly, biting into the thick skin of the bright pinkish fruit. It was one that she hadn’t seen before. Seeing that he ate it safely, she took a bite of one herself.

He described the different kinds of fruit and berries, some more sour than others, some sweeter, a few had a weird natural spice to them, but each one he knew the name of and what they were used for or what they went great with. He watched her reaction of one of the really bitter ones as her face scrunched up to the sourness of it, causing him to roar in laughter. Of course she got him back, shoving the extremely bitter berry in his mouth, causing a reaction just like hers. She covered her mouth as she giggled, her eyes glittering yellow once again. They arrived back at the den shortly after. Kiki looked up at him.

”Not tempted to eat me anymore, right?” she smirked. With her stature, she wouldn’t make for much of a meal to any dragon. She was more like a pretty, red-headed toothpick...

He looked over at her, the bitterness still in his mouth. ”Not after that, brrrrrr.” He shuddered at the taste.

”Good.” she chuckled, ”That’s probably how I’d taste anyway.” Kiara smirked and then walked over to the edge of the cliff looking over the mountainside.

”Believe me when I say… You taste a lot sweeter than that, hmhmhmhm.” He said slyly, actually managing to get her to blush. Kiara sat down and dangled her legs over the edge, looking up at the stars. She frowned, remembering the necklace that looked like it belonged up in the night sky.

”I’m pretty tired, I’d like to sleep soon.” Kiki peeked up behind her at the dragon. He looked upside down from this angle. She patted the ground next to her for him to join her.

He sighed and moved his way over to her, soft eyes looking back at her. He plopped down next to her, his feet hung over the side as he looked down at the glowing fields. ”Beautiful isn’t it?” more of a statement then a question. He sighed as he looked around, that nostalgia coming back to him. He glanced over. ”I’m sorry about what happened in Dovahmere. I remember when it wasn’t such a tense area. Races of all kinds were allowed through easily, and made many great business ventures were there. It wasn’t until the Chil - the enemy - moved in and spread their influence over it.” He said apologetically.

He turn his head to face her. ”Ask me a question about my past and I shall answer.” Kiara studied his eyes and then looked up at the sky with her good arm behind her head. She thought about what she might want to know about him….. And she found herself wanting to know a lot. She’d settled on something, but debated asking, as it might make him upset. Kiki peeked back over at him again. His eyes widened slightly, awaiting her question.

”He kind of looked like you. Well, more than kind of… is he your brother?” she asked, knowing that he would know exactly who she was talking about.

He looked down towards the glowing fields and, for a moment, it seemed like he wouldn’t answer, until he gave a quick nod. ”Paraxthyon is my twin, Dragon of Water, and he leads the intelligence corps as well as the armada. Now he also has to control the financial issues too. Heheheh. When we were born, the stark contrast of our scales showed our father and mother we would be destined to fight each other. And it was true, we did. We always did, because we could never outmatch each other, intelligence, charisma, endurance, magic adeptness, everything and anything we fought about.” He glanced over at her to see if she had any other questions about what he was talking about or if she wanted to know something else. Three lessons were completed today which meant three questions could be asked. Now two more remained.

Kiara had closed her eyes while he spoke, listening to his story. She peeked an eye open when he stopped. ”I always wished that I had a sibling. Maybe it’s for the better that I didn’t…” she studied him. ”Is he your only brother?” she asked, knowing that some races had children quite easily.

He shook his head and gave a light laugh. ”No no, Kiki-” The first time he used a pet name since their trip. He raised a hand, holding up four fingers. ”Not including myself I have four other siblings. One younger, my twin and two older. You would love my youngest brother. He’s a pain in my ass, but so are you. You two would get along nicely.” He teased. Kiara smiled at him.

”Sounds like a perfect match. Maybe it’s best for you that I don’t meet him.” she chuckled to herself. She probably only had one question left now, so she considered it carefully. ”What about your father? Is he still around?” she asked, already knowing about how he lost his mother from a couple of nights ago.

He bit his lower lip before biting his tongue. ”Yeah…” He said rather shortly as he looked to the forest left of the cliffside. Kiara looked over at him in his silence. She winced as she moved her arm to put her left hand on top of his softly.

A flare of anger came from him. ”I’d rather him be in my mother’s position…” She squeezed her fingers around his hand. She considered pushing the topic more, but he was more than cooperative with her questions, and she didn’t want to ruin that.

”He sold my mother out, me and her had planned a coup in order to take down Ugin, but we found out that it was my father. Father was punished on the principle of guilty by association as well, but her and I… No...I was the one who had to kill her.” He looked over at her. ”Father was forced to devour her after I killed her. That way he could always have her around as a memory of her travesty. My brothers and sisters, minus the youngest and I, did not care. We did, but could do nothing about it. This happened when I was 150 years old.”

Kiara remained quiet, once again reminded of how old he was. Sulleykaar was literally one hundred times older than her, she really was like a child compared to him. She retracted her hand and looked up at the stars. She thought about saying something poetic, like, ‘maybe our mothers are up there now, proud of who we've become’, but those would be false words… His mother, and her soul, were gone forever.

”Thank you for being honest with me. I am glad to know more about you… Even if some of it is sad.” Kiara looked at him, her eyes a light, they were a pretty, crystalline blue now.”We should get some sleep, my trainer is probably going to be a real hardass tomorrow.” she smirked and sat up to head for the den. He chuckled lightly as he nodded and watched her disappear into the den. He sighed as he stood up only to keel over by a sudden wave of pain. ”Son of a-” The hit from earlier. The heavy blow from Kiara now taking its toll. ”I would hate to be on the receiving end if that had dragon’s strength behind it…” He chuckled to himself as he regain his balance and headed back to the den.

Once there, she slid off the robes and went through the things she had packed. She pulled out one of the finer dresses she had brought and tore off a strip of fabric to rehem the robes using glamour magick. It gave them a whole new look, a bit of natural beauty that complemented the gemstones well, just a touch of Kiki to a rather Sulleykaar-looking garment. She smiled at her work. He would probably still be mad, but she thought they looked even better now. She poked her way back into the darkness of the den and settled into the little nest she'd made last night, waiting for Sulley to join her. He was soon enough, in his dragon form as he moved beside her, creating a sort of defensive bed around her. His tail blocked the wind as he looked out towards the cliff side for a few moments before he closed his eyes.

Outside the den, stalking above the mouth of the den, came a black form with red glowing eyes. They pierced the darkness and narrowed when catching sight of Sulleykaar and Kiara. ”SSSSSSSulleykaaaarrrrrr...You are up to no good aren’t youuu? Ugin will knoooow of your treeeACHERY!” It mumbled in a hissing growl as it leapt off the cliffside, taking flight towards Dovahmere. His movements silent as the night itself.

"HEY! WAIT UP!" She sprinted towards the water, laughing along the way. However she didn't see the lump in the ground so as she leapt in, her foot caught the peak of it and fell in face first in a sort of belly flop. She yelped as she hit the water, floating face down before sinking a bit. She decided she might as well swim under water for a bit and did. Kicking around and moving her arms in a frog-like swimming style until she got over to Kiki. Samantha leapt out and tackled her, hoping to drag her under water.

"Pretty well. I had some stock I had to move around and decided I would buy a small company that manufactures clothing. Spent somewhere between 4.2-6.6 billion for it but I will make that back soon enough. Forget the name of it. Starts with a "t" or a "s". But either way, I'm looking forward to seeing the corporate office. But besides that I invited my little brother to visit me here so I do look forward to that. He's a bit on the...how do I put it...He's full of energy so I planned on showing him around the school and would like to introduce them to my friends. Also I plan to go to my summer home in Italy. I was wondering if you would be interested in coming? I plan on inviting the others but I would rather ask you first considering your my roommate. So...Are you interested?" He cocked an eyebrow to Morgan and waited for an answer.

Once Morgan gave his answer he turned to the others who moved towards the lake. Glancing over at Morgan he smirked. "You heard Kiara, last one in is Orc drool...Though. Gobli drool is a lot worse and...It's not time for education, it's time for fun. Come on Morgie!" He laughed at the last part as he trotted over to the water. He rolled his shoulders and took off his polo and undershirt. His body was well toned, like that of a professional athlete at the peak of performance. His muscles flexed and moved fluently with his movements, which gained a few cat calls from Samantha causing him to grin. But also with his body came a multitude of scars of all sizes. The largest one however, ran across the length of his torso. It was deep and wide and seemed to have healed naturally. Samantha nudged Kiki in the side. "Hey Keeks, did you know his body looked like that?" She asked while subconsciously rubbing her own. "What do you think caused those? I feel so bad for him." She said sympathetically. A moment passed before she called out to him. "Hey Suls! Do you want to get your pants wet too!? She yelled the question. He looked up and at the other guys before giving her a lopsided grin. "I would rather not make the others jealous!" He yelled back. Samantha pouted before starting a chant, encouraging Kiara to join her. "Take them off! Take them off! Take them off!"

Unseelie Queendom, Training Grounds

The two had been training for a good half of the morning, non-stop at half their full potential and had decided to rest for a bit, watching as their two forces joined in joint training. “So… heh… It would seem… heh… you haven’t forgotten your Unseelie training.” He said as he slumped to the ground from fatigue. Kyla spoke between breaths. ”And… your… not bad… for a [i[human, Commander.” she smiled at him, gaining a grin from Felix. She leaned into him and laid a hand on his and looked into his eyes. ”It was very bold of you to talk to Cynbel that way..” He grimaced. ”A bold move that had to be done. He was too confident in his motives. He had to take in consideration that he isn’t just commanding Unseelie, he is commanding my troops as I am with his as well. Risks must be taken in order to get what you want. I am confident in my decisions and yet, at the same time, I’m not.. Kyla furrowed her brow and leaned in towards him. Cynbel seems to think so considering that he took your advice.” Felix sighed in frustration. ”Yes but it’s like pulling teeth or...I don’t know...teaching an old, stubborn dog a new trick.” Kyla laughed as she patted his shoulder. ”But that old dog you’re talking about seemed to learn quickly.” He looked down and smirked. ”I can see why many of the fey honor him-” Kyla frowned. ”Honor is-” Felix stopped her with the wave of a hand. ”I know, I know. Honor is a lie. You stopped believing in that code a long time ago after you joined the Order.” She looked down and glanced over to him. ”But I haven’t forgoítten my old code.” Felix moved closer to her and gave her comfort. ”I don’t want you to forget about your code. It’s a part of you and always will be.” He smiled at her and brought his attention back to the training grounds.

An hour had passed and a certain silver-haired general made his appearance on the grounds, showing a rookie certain moves to better him. Felix bit his inner cheek and watched. The general certainly had his way to get through to the soldiers, even his own. His perceptive skills could match even Sulley’s and that is another reason why he respected him. Cynbel watched the rangers test the strength of their bowstrings, firing relentlessly at the centers of targets. He nodded and kept on walking. A number of swordsmen were dueling in the center of the grounds. This was the area were Cynbel started himself, before he was Commander. A young, royal boy who was too green to know what was good for him. He’d gotten his ass handed to him time and again, until Morrígan’s blood had manifested in him. Cynbel studied their footwork with keen eyes, each swing of their blades and twist of their torsos. He stepped in to a duel and interjected, offering advice to both parties separately on how to improve their stance.

Eventually, Cynbel made his way over to Kyla and Felix. There closeness did not go unnoticed. Very interesting… The General bowed politely, his moonlight-colored hair stirring in the breeze. ”Our people are glad to see you home, Kyla.” he remarked. Her smile faded as she looked away in shame. He said our, not my, because he still believed her to be one of their own…. Unlike some of the more malicious sects of Unseelie. For every faerie who was glad to see the former-General’s return, there were two who breathed words like “traitor” and “turncloak” into the whispers of the Court. ”I am interested to hear your thoughts on the upcoming battles. You were an idol of mine, the way you lead our army when I was just a whelp fighting with sticks and stones, and now look at us.” his voice was wistful and nostalgic, he even laughed a little.

Her voice betrayed her thoughts when she spoke about her return. ”I feel very happy that I was welcomed back with such regard. I wish I was never taken from here but I was also glad I had gotten to see what I could outside the walls. Even if it was in cages. But I do remember you Cynbel, you were young and yet as fearless as an orc and as fierce as a dragon...Even in training and I see that you never gave up. She smiled at the memories. The former general looked up to the new one, a smile on her face as she let a faint chuckle escape. ”As for the battle to come however-” Now was her chance to speak about her take on the plan. ”I could see your stand on the matter. We have the advantage since our forces have major offensive capabilities, but now that we have the Order on our side. We have gained a major defensive and tactical advantage. The Seelie do not know of the Order’s being here I believe and they are known for fighting smart for a lack of a better word.” She gave the general her observation and looked over to Felix who nodded.

“They are indeed… slaves to their logic and obsession with order, much as we our to our passions and love of chaos.” he nodded thoughtfully. They were both strengths and weaknesses to either side, forever balancing each other out in this endless war. Truth be told, this war would only be won by either side through the addition of outside forces. This was a time of change, and Cynbel wasn’t sure just how good this change would be. He feared the falling of his own Court… the losses would be greater than any known throughout their divided history.

”Passion before duty…” She recited aloud. Cynbel nodded and said the words in an echo. Kiara had accused him of not following that part of the code many a time. He had hurt her in his absence, that much he knew. He sighed, wondering what she was up to then… if she was happy, if she still hated him.

”We will fight the best we can, see how Felix’s idea here works out.” Cynbel looked to the human Commander, a soft smile on his lips.

An idea had popped into the young human commander’s head. ”Commander... I was just thinking...How would you like to boost the morale of the troops by having us, the Commander of the Order and the General of the Unseelie, in a spar. They would enjoy a good fight, plus we can see each other’s capabilities.” Kyla chuckled.

”Do you really think you can take an Unseelie general?” She stifled a laugh at which Felix playfully glared. ” I took you on didn’t I? In more ways than one if my-ow! She punched him in the arm playfully as he laughed. Cynbel raised a brow and chuckled, love birds, as he thought.

”Now there’s an idea… what style of fight? Your choice, my friend.” he smirked, confident that he could best the man in most matters. It wasn’t often that people challenged him, this was exciting. Hmmm..” He thought as he brought his hand up to his chin and scratched his stubble. He smirked as he glanced at him. First blood is a bit much. I say until the other yields or a knockout ends it, hm?” He offered.

”Hahaha, if we did first blood, you’d never win. A yield, it is.” Felix glared at him but sighed. He was right as far as a first blood match was concerned. He wasn’t called the Iron Fey without reason. Cynbel put his hand to his hip and tapped the iron blade. ”A swordfight, then? Or hand to hand?” he grinned mischievously ”Would using magick be too much of an advantage?” Felix raised a brow and shookhis head as he patted his smokey blade. ”That won’t be a problem Cynbel. I have ways and Sulley taught me a few things as well though I’m leagues from being at his level and I feel that is how it will always be.

Cynbel and Felix walked the distance to a clearing big enough to have a proper sparring match. The fight would of course draw more than a few onlookers, it already had and they hadn’t even started swinging yet. Cynbel tied his liquid silver hair back, fastening it with a leather cord that had bones and black feathers tied at the ends. His clothing was light and easy to move around in, as he didn’t really need armor. He wore it sometimes, but it was more for show than necessity. The faerie general poised his hand over the sheathed blade and locked eyes with Felix, waiting for Kyla to give signal to start.

When she did, the sound of metal sliding against metal rang out. Cynbel stepped forward at the same time as Felix. The human brought up his wrist to block as a tower shield protruded from the wrist guard. It rang out loudly as they pushed off of one another and repositioned. Cynbel took on a defensive posture, studying his opponent for tells. The hit was as hard as expected for someone who had been fighting for a long time. He looked Cynbel up and down before he decided to draw out his blade, a plume of eerie black fumes escaped its sheath as he placed his left arm forward and his right that held the sword slightly behind him. Felix was like a coiled snake ready to strike as he slowly strafed around Cynbel.

Cynbel moved faster than one might expect for such a tall faerie. He deftly used his wings to burst dodge away from attacks. When he had been defensive long enough to spot patterns in Felix’s fighting style, he picked up on the offense. The general lunged forward as if he was going to strike on the right, but instead he feigned to the left and grazed the human’s armor with his blade.

Felix’ eyes followed to the best he could to keep up with the general, He stepped forward to strike at the general but as he feigned to the left he spun counterclockwise, his shield coming forth and slammed into the general's side enough to move him away as he forward with a strike down to Cynbel’s back. As the blade made its descent, the fumes whipped around violently and solidified with jagged and twisted edges. The shield vibrated with the force of slamming into what felt like a steel beam. Cynbel seemed unphased by the strike, but moved to dodge the sword blow. He was quick, but not quick enough to dodge it completely. Whatever magick the sword was endued with singed off Cynbel’s shirt sleeve. Two could play that game. The faerie mumbled under his breath and the iron blade in his hand starting to zap and crackle. Felix smirked as he charged forward swung, the smoke shifted and strengthened again, adding length and weight to the end of it but surprisingly it felt very lightweight to the human as he wielded it with a flawless grace. The blade came down upon Cynbel's own with a loud clang as the current ran through his own blade, across his body and into the shield. The human commander’s face scrunched up in pain from the current but he held his ground. Cynbel chuckled ”You are tough, I like you.” he remarked, not even slightly out of breath yet. Felix grinned through gritted teeth.

This back and forth went on for quite some time. Felix discovered that the blade would not cut Cynbel, but the magick did do some damage to his aura. The human tired at a faster rate than the faerie, not his fault, just a biological thing. Regardless, Cynbel took advantage of this and pressed Felix further, his strikes becoming more relentless.

The shield had become the center of attention in their fight, blow after blow it took hits and Felix was already tired but forced himself not to show it. Cynbel would strike a few times before Feix would drop his guard to go in for a slash or jab before returning to his defensive stance. Over the course of the fight, his shield and armor started to glow dimly but it wasn’t until Cynbel had gone all out did Felix seem to glow bright with white and red. Then came in the final swing, and Felix was sent to the ground hard. It was over from the looks of it and all those who gathered to cheer on their respectable generals roared in applause when it was over….or so they thought.

Felix’s eyes fluttered open as he looked around and coughed hard after the wind was knocked out of him. His vision spun slightly as he stumbled up and gripped the blade he dropped. The crowd gone silent in response. ”We’re not done yet Cynbel, knockout or yield remember?” He said defiantly.

Cynbel raised a curious brow, obviously impressed with the human’s strength of heart and body. ”As you wish~” he said somewhat mockingly. The iron sword built up another strong charge at Cynbel’s behest. Felix prepared, to the best he could for the inevitable attack as he took on a stance somewhere between fatigued and ready. Cynbel smiled wide, not because he was gloating, thought it might seem that way, but because he was so much of himself in Felix’ eyes. He found himself feeling proud, though he had no right to feel that way, Felix wasn’t his trainee. Still, he would give the man and honest fight, in victory or defeat, that is what men deserved. Cynbel’s blade came down hard and heavy, connecting directly with Felix’s ribs and sending electricity through his body and down into the earth where it dissipated.

He gritted his teeth as his eyes went wide and white before seizing where he was, falling over with a thud. Kyla gasped in slight fear as silence followed. It was silent for a long moment, which felt like an hour though only a few minutes had passed. Just as Cynbel would turn away from Felix a sudden rush of raw power and fury in the form of a burst of fire bellowed from the armor that Felix wore. Then there was a movement of a hand, then a foot, legs, arms. Felix slowly rose, but it was different. An aura was built around him and his eyes glowed red and an almost ectoplasmic trail of white smoke fled from the sides of his eyes as he picked up the blade he dropped, its own smoke violently extending to a mass blade that was taller than Cynbel. The human commander’s eyes stared at him, or at least through him. Upon the amor burst forward two large wings of ethereal flame. He let gravity take hold of the blade as the edge fell to the ground with a heavy thunk, unearthing a small crater. A moment past and he turned the edge inward. ”Wuld nah Kest!”

It was almost instant as Felix was upon Cynbel with the blade moving with incredible speed and ferocity as it connect with Cynbel's own, sending him flying backward. It threw Cynbel off guard and he landed hard. The faerie general frowned at what was before him. ”I assume this is something Sulleykaar taught you?” He asked as he righted himself back to his stance, only for Felix to appear again in front of him, this time with a heavy thwack against his jaw, now sending him flying to the ground and tumbled a few times before Felix blasted forward with a second “wuld nah kest”, whatever the hell that meant. The silver haired faerie matched the strength of Felix’s second swing with his own as he parried a barrage of blows from what he assumed was now an enraged Felix. But the commander just held a giant grin on his face. Finally, someone who offered a good and true fight, though not one that would leave bloodshed, it was one he hadn’t had in quite some time.

If this was a spell, Cynbel thought it must have some duration, nothing lasts forever. He kept up his defenses, taking offensive strikes when the rare opportunities to do so arose. Now it was Cynbel who was breathing heavy… Never in a thousand years had the faerie thought that a human would be able to bring him to this point. Then again, was he truly human at this point? He managed to swing around to Cynbel's flank and tripped him up with the back of the blade. Felix raised it high above his head, ready to give the final blow. The blade came down and Cynbel frowned. He expected a blade to the side of his body or to split him in half, however, the sound of a thud was heard as Felix’s body simply fell on Cynbel's and slid off to the side of him. He was out cold and the crowd roared for Cynbel from both sides, as well as the grumbling of bets being paid.

A Walk in the Woods

After a good long while of lounging and sobering up from the mushroom’s effects, Kiara glanced over at Sulleykaar. He was quiet enough that she thought he might actually be sleeping. ”Sulley?” she asked quietly, it was the first time she used the pet name. She liked the feel of it on her tongue.

The dragon raised a brow and rumbled a low ”Hmm?” in response. Kiki sat up and brushed from of the dirt and leaves for her skin. She looked back over at him, admiring his form once again. With some focus, she managed to keep her eyes on his.

”Are you hungry?” she didn’t really know what dragon’s ate… did they hunt? She couldn’t remember seeing him eat once since they left, except for that bit of mushroom. ”You fed me plenty…” she smirked, ”But what about yourself?”

”There is a town not too far out. Dovahmere, we could pick up supplies there.. But--” his eyes explored the winged girl’s body. ”You can’t go looking like that.” He frowned as he eyed her up and down.

Kiara laughed. ”Well, of course, I’ll get dressed! What’s the matter, already feeling jealous? Maybe some other dragon will steal me away...” her giggles faded away and she stood up to find the scattered garments she had worn earlier.

”Pfft, hardly concerned about that happening.” He scoffed. She shot him a ‘hey!’ look, as if he should be worrying about it. Look at her, who wouldn’t want to steal her away? Plus, now that she’d had a taste, maybe she’d like to expand her palette of draconic lovers and go willingly.

“Your wings, your ears… everything…” Kiara frowned at his words. Was he ashamed of her? Maybe he would prefer that she was a dragon… he was trying to get her to change inside, why not outside as well? ”They don’t like the fey there. More specifically those from the two courts.” he explained.

”Oh…” she said quietly. That was better, kind of… Her mood shifted quickly, as it always did. She was grinning once again. ”I get to play dress up then…. hmmm.” she thought of all the different options she had. Her magick was back in full force after having such a hearty meal, the glamour would offer her endless possibilities. Glamour is free. The artist’s brain was swirling in overload, she couldn’t decide. Her skin tone, hair color, and body shape were all shifting with each new idea, she looked like a personified video game character creation demo.

”What would be the best disguise?” she asked in a voice deeper than her natural one, currently the image of a golden blonde elf, tall and muscular, somewhere in between male and female… one couldn’t really tell with most elves when they were fully-clothed. Her outfits also magickally changed with her glamour, so she was no longer wearing the leather skirt, tank top combo, but instead a robe that was belted at the center atop of fur-lined pants. Sulleykaar stood there and looked at her, thinking of what would be best. After some thought he smiled.

”Add some mass and scales to your eyes, cheeks, hands and feet… Make your body a bit curvy and lapis lazuli. You’ll be going as a Ice Drake/human half breed. Be sure to add a tail.” Kiara did as he suggested. It was a strange form, she had redistributed her weight so that she was taller and curvy. Her hands had icy scales that reached up to her elbows and a larger tail with sharp ice-like shards at the tip. She looked more like a girl that should be standing beside Sullkeykaar… less fragile, more intimidating. He glanced over at her and eyed her up. A long moment went by before he nodded. She was slightly shorter than him now instead of a foot shorter. He raised a slight eyebrow in amusement. He liked what he saw and smirked.

”Hmmm…” she spun around for him, turning awkwardly with the added weight of a tail. This would take some getting used to. ”How far away is it?” she asked, ”Are we walking?” she asked, but her eager smile betrayed what she really wanted to ask… are we flying?

”If the wings you put on allow you to fly, that is what we will do, but you best take the form of a dragon. Even half breeds have a dragon form.” He smirked then turned towards the direction they had to go before turning back to her.

”I can fly with my real wings… well... I can hover!” Kiara said, somewhat embarrassed and in response was a light chuckle from him. She hated that she couldn’t find the grace to take to the skies like so many others of her kind. It wasn’t her fault stupid rocks weighed so much. Kiki crossed her arms over her much heftier chest and stomped after Sulleykaar. If she couldn’t fly normally, she certainly wouldn’t be able to now. This was just illusionary magic, it didn’t change her mass. Well, she’d never really tried to take on a large draconic form yet with her current mass, maybe it would work, but she wasn’t about to face his mocking laughter if she tried and failed. He glanced over at her and mumbled something under his breath. Kiara was ascending from the ground, her wings glowed dimly. Sulleykaar morphed to his form as he lept into the air and flapped his wings, ascending himself into the skies above. ”Take the form of an Ice Drake and start flapping your wings, you’ll be able to fly now, or at least look like you are. We will land just outside the town so you can get back into your humanoid form.”

Kiara kept her arms crossed ”No.” she said, standing still stubbornly in an attempt to hide her fear of being mocked. She wasn’t going to, absolutely not. It took her a while to realize that she was no longer on the ground. ”Woa- woah!” she felt like she was teetering on an edge, like she might fall at any moment. Her face turned a bright, angry red as she flushed. ”You’re --- you’re…. ugh!” She wanted to say that he was the worst, but she wouldn’t mean it. This was actually kind of cool, but the mule of a faerie wouldn’t let that show.

”I’m what?” He grinned and pushed the subject.

”An ASS!” she said confidently, that much was a universal truth.

He simply tisked as his eyes glowed white before her vision went sideways as he dropped his magik off of one of her wings. ”I’m sorry...I’m what? Hhmhmhmhm”

Kiara tipped slightly, descending a few feet. She yelped in fear and then immediately shut her mouth, gaining a small chuckle from the dragon.. She glared up at him and shifted into the dragon form. Fine then, if he wanted to play that way, she would try to do it on her own. He smirked as she remained silent and in return he restored the magick back to her wing. ”You’re welcome by the way. You enjoyed flying since I let you ride me back in the queendom and when we first got here so I figured you would want to try it by yourself. I simply gave you a bit of magic to allow that to happen. He simply stated.

”Shut up.” she said and grunted, shimmering frost exhaled from her nostrils and she tried to flap the cumbersome wings. It was exhausting, but she would prove that she didn’t need him, or his sass. Sass was her thing. ”Ass.” she said, grinning within before flying forward.

”Well, at least with your attitude you’ll fit in here.” He deadpanned as he turned back towards Dovamere and flew towards the town. Kiara followed close behind and to the right of him. Just like birds that fly in a ‘v’ formation, she could ride of of the tailwind his wings produced, making it easier for her to fly without having to flap so much. For a moment, she did lose herself… the view was even more astounding when she wasn’t peering over his back. She could see everything above and below her, with her own eyes. When they got back, she would cover the walls in her paintings, forever capturing this place and time.

Sulleykaar looked back at her once in awhile to check on her. She seemed to be doing fine, minus the one fall, which he smiled at. It was like the old times with his family, before they turned to the Children of Tiamat. It took some time before he saw the town and gestured for the two to land. He circled down to trail as he turned back to humanoid form before falling to his feet and awaited her. The landing was far less graceful than the cruising flight. Something about the change in elevation, figuring out how to slow down using the jointed wings, and also trying to shift her form caused her tumble down into a heap of Ice Drake/Human hybrid on the ground.

”Oof!” she remarked and then scrambled to get up on her feet, to proud to stay down for long. She was glad that he chosen to have them land farther out from the town, it limited her embarassment to just him, though she was sure that he would make up for it in obnoxiousness. He simply chuckled at her attempt at a graceful landing and leaned his head to the side. ”Not as graceful as I would like to see but I congratulate you for your efforts. But now that we’re here...Your scent will have to be like a dragon’s,” Kiara rose an eyebrow and smirked.

”I believe you took care of that earlier.” his scent was all over her still, at least to her keen nose.

He rolled his eyes mumbling something about her being born a dragon instead. ”More specifically, like that of an ice drake. Cold to the touch so…”. She nodded, yeah, she smelled like quite the opposite of frost currently. He moved close to her and touched her skin, from contact a thin transparent yet flexible layer of ice moved around her body until it enveloped every inch. It was colder than regular ice besides the magic involved but from what he knew of Ice drakes, that was how they felt.

Kiara shivered under the spell. Why did everything about this trip have to be so damned cold? She already found herself missing home. For now, she could own this facade. She was naturally curious about this town, and the customs Sulley had grown up with. Maybe there would even be something fun for her to do, or buy! She remembered then that she didn’t have any money, let alone whatever kind of currency this place traded in. Even in a dragon’s skin, she was still a faerie, pretty things would distract and fascinate her, she would want them. But maybe that wasn’t so far off from a dragon’s personality… this could work.

He reached into the sleeve of his cloak and pulled out a sack of coins. Each coin was inscribed in Thu’um. On the front, carved out in ruby, a red dragon and on the back, was the symbol of the Children of Tiamat. ”Take these. You will need them to buy supplies. You may haggle as well but I would discourage it. Haggling around here is a bit….different than say in the fey.

Kiara opened her palms up to receive the coins. She looked down at them, wide-eyed. They were so shiny! She plucked one up and studied the glint of the ruby in the light. ”Wait, what do you mean? You’re going to be with me, right?” She didn’t even know what she was supposed to be buying.

”For the shopping part I will. Meats, vegetables and fruits are important. Ash petals as well. We will also stop by the weapons shop to pick up a few weapons for you as well. Afterwards however, I have somewhere to stop.” Kiara eyed him suspiciously, that was fairly cryptic of him.

”That is where I will leave you to discover the town. Be careful because I will not be there to help you while I handle my business as well.” he informed her.

”Pfft… I don’t need your help. I’ve taken care of myself just fine in the past.” she scoffed proudly and closed a fist around the coins. She was actually nervous about being discovered, if they didn’t like the Courts, what then would they do to a Princess. ”Ready when you are~” she chimed.

He grabbed her shoulders and glared at her with worry. ”Let me make it painfully clear then. Dovahmere is not just a dragon town. It is heavily influenced by the Children of Tiamat and there is a big reward for a member of either court to be handed over or worse.”

”Blahblahblah, I get it! You want me to be careful, I will. Actually tell me something useful, please. Like, what am I supposed to say if people ask me where I’m from? I can’t lie, remember…. Are mute dragons a thing? Is there a riddle or something I could say… could I just tell them to fuck off and not get pummeled for it?”

He shook his head. ”You’re an Ice drake and your Kiara. There’s not much difference in personality so if you act like yourself you should be fine, minus the look of amazement that you give everything that’s new...like the coins for example.. He looked at the entrance of the town. ”As far as phrases and the like most greet with “Drem yol lok”. Many know common language but it's not used often but there is an understanding that half breeds won’t know the language or understand, you’ll be fine in that aspect too. If you tell someone to fuck off I can guarantee that you’ll be fighting and dragons don’t fight fairly, especially here. At least now anyway.”

”Okay.” she said and then nodded ”I’m ready.” she kept nodding. Ready as she’ll ever be, nervous and excited all balled up into one. She walked beside Sulleykaar, concentrating hard on walking straight despite the tail swishing behind her. She had a whole different gait in this form - a hip-shimmying side-to-side swagger compared to her usual tight, hipless prance. Seriously this walk was all ass and she wasn’t even trying to be sexy. Kiara kept her face as cold and expressionless as she could, but everything looked so cool!

The entrance was grand with a large arch that had Dovahmere written in Thu’um. It was etched in with dragons that seemed to climb the archway with fire bellowing out towards the peak. Inside the town bustled with scales of all kinds as well as human/dragon mixes as well. Their scales shined in the sunlight and reflected onto the ground and the structures around them. It was loud with the tongues of dragon and common as well as hearty laughs and yells.

Walk, Kiara, just walk. The first stand Sulleykaar stopped at in the market was a fruit and vegetable merchant.

“Drem yol lok.” The merchant greeted with a short tone to the both of them as he sat up from his chair and walked over to the stand. ”Ven Der Viir.” Sulleykaar replied. “Gol yah?” Sulleykaar nodded as he pointed to a few different fruits. The dragon placed them on the counter and held out his claws as 3 coins were dropped into his hand. It closed its extended hand and brought it back and sat back down. Sulleykaar looked over to Kiara to see how she was holding up. Kiara looked up at him and blinked a few times. This was the quietest and best-behaved he’d probably ever have her. She wasn’t about to risk herself just to irritate him, fun as that was. They walked by a jewelry cart next and her eyes widened. She looked down quickly and then away from the vendors all together.

”What did you see that you liked?” He asked, glancing over at her. She had been well behaved so far, he could treat her to something special.

”The really shiny thing. It looks like a star.” she said a little too quickly. Kiara hadn’t got a good look at it, but the sparkle had caught her eye.

He glanced over to the cart where she saw the star-like jewelry before it was out of sight and turned on his heels and headed for it. ”You’ve been good so far so follow me.” he commanded but not with any negative connotation. More like a father who was rewarding a kids good behavior.

”Yes, daddy.” she said with a smirk.

He smiled at her as they approached the cart. Next to it was a small tent that bared the Chidren’s symbol. There seemed to be no one at the stand currently and Sulleykaar frowned. ”Odd… He thought aloud as he leaned to the side hoping to see the inside of the tent though to no avail. ”Drem yull loook?” He called out. He did it again and looked around before facing Kiara. It was then that a figure appeared from the tent as Sulleykaar’s back was turned.

”I guess it will have to be another ti-”

”Drem yul lok Sulleykaar. Yol draag wyrm of the Children of Tiamat.” Kiara would see his eyes widen in slight fear as they returned to their normal state, now facing the dragon before him. Kiara, however, did not look at him with fear. She smiled and fought the urge to curtsie politely. Faeries curtsied, dragons didn’t. He was cute.

”Paraxthyon...What a pleasure seeing you here. I suppose Ugin let you have a day off?” He said with slight irritation in his voice. Paraxthyon smirked as he let out a throaty chuckle. ” Not exactly. I’m here on business for Ugin. We have heard through our network that the Unseelie plan on taking over one of the Seelie frontline outposts. I think that faerie general and your own plan on taking it for themselves?” He raised a brow to Sulleykaar. Sulleykaar sighed and shrugged. ”I’m currently on vacation from the fiasco so I’m letting Felix and Cynbel handle the fight. I have faith in their decisions.” he quipped gaining a nd in response. This conversation was going on too long, Kiara started to get nervous. ”Please don’t talk to me, please don’t talk to me.” She thought to herself. He knew too much this was bad, that’s why Sulley was scared.

The sapphire dragon’s attention was brought to the ice drake, the scent of nervousness filled his nostrils. An eerie smile with ruby eyes to match settled on her as Sulleykaar subtly tensed.

”Drem yul lok, liz dovah… He said smoothly.

”Drem yul lok” she repeated fluently, as everyone had said the phrase so far since their arrival. She needed to play off the nervousness somehow. He was attractive, that could be it. Be coy… Kiara managed to blush a little, completely uncharacteristic for the faerie within.

” So tell me, liz dovah lo, what brings you to Dovahmere?” He stepped behind the counter and moved closer to Kiara, his eyes piercing through her own.

She couldn’t lie, but she could be vague. ”Food, perhaps a drink.” she answered. She could use a drink right about now, so that wasn’t a lie. She kept her eyes on him, not in a challenge, but with confidence.

”Food...and perhaps a drink…” He repeated as he looked at Sulleykaar, who kept a poker face. Paraxthyon nodded and turned back to the cart, pulling out the specialized star-like jewel. He held his hand out to her before pulling back. ” Before I give this to you I ask you one thing, liz dovah lo. Will you be ready when the Children call upon you and the others to finish this war? I promise that the royal families will make for a great meal. That is, if you do your part of course.” That eerie look never left his face and behind him, Sulley’s eyes darted between the two.

Kiara looked at the jewel when he picked it up. It was beautiful, more than she initially thought, and she wanted it. The blue dragon offered it to her, under conditions. Kiara slowly brought her eyes back up to his. Her heart sank down to her feet, he knew, he knew who she was and she didn’t even do anything wrong. This wasn’t fair, she was quiet and Sulley was happy with her and that necklace was supposed to be hers… but now she was pretty sure that she was going to die…. Or worse.

He watched as she broke character, not physically, but emotionally and mentally and his smile widened slightly before he dropped the jewerly into her hand. ”I trust that the ice drakes will do what they have to-” He leaned forward as his breath broke against her ear. And what came out next was going to be more than she may be able to handle. ” Kiaraaa~ of the Unseelie court.” He leaned back and his his eyes were cold and vicious. Her name sounded bastardized in his voice. When Sulley did that, it made her want to take her clothes off…. When this other dragon did it, she kind of wanted to go jump off the nearest cliff. He turned to Sulleykaar, who was now glaring at him. ”Sulleykaar, it was a pleasure to see you again and I look forward to our victory.” He nodded to Sulleykaar before grinning at Kiara and walked back into the tent. Sulleykaar, visually was boiling and at the same time on alert. Paraxthyon was here, which means the others could be as well but he didn’t want to take the chance. He tapped her arm and looked straight at her.

”Kiara we’re leaving” He ordered with haste. She gripped his wrist tight with one hand, obviously shaken. Kiara dropped the necklace on the table quickly. It was lovely, but she didn’t want it anymore, it’s meaning was soured. Sulley could get her another gift later on, if she wasn’t going to be captured and tortured… or just eaten. And if Sulleykaar wasn’t mad at her, maybe she’d done something wrong, how else did he have know so much so quickly?

Sulleykaar nodded to her as they made their leave. Many of the dragons in the area caught the scent of fear and turned to the distraction though none of them did much but just looked or glared at the two. ”I should have just left you to wander around…He probably would never have guessed you were you but rather another dragon.” He mentally cursed himself as they left.

Once they were sufficiently away from the crowd and Kiara felt like she could afford to speak, she did. ”So… it wasn’t my fault? You’re not mad?”

”Far from it…I’m mad at myself for not seeing this coming. He said quickly. ”He knows that I don’t keep my treasures to far from me so that was the first give away. Second was when he called you Liz dovah lo, Fake Ice dragon…That was my fault for not telling you more about them.” Kiara resisted the urge to say ‘ I told you so’, that would make things worse. Instead, she focused on his other words. She smiled ”Now that I have met other dragons… I am glad that I am your treasure, Sulley.”

”I suppose food can wait for me...I wasn’t that hungry to begin with. He sighed as he looked at her with a light smile. ”You did well though despite what happened. However...You need to work on controlling yourself now that i look back to before we even decided to come here.” He scolded her.

”Oh, come on. That’s not fair, he was really scary.” she whined defensively. ”And you knew! I told you I wouldn’t know what to say, I can’t lie and-”

”And I told you that it was my fault for not telling you more about ice dragons. Hush now. We will call it a day today.” He barked short and sternly. They remained quiet for some time until he brought her back to the den as dusk came.

”Get some sleep. It’s been a long day and we will train some more tomorrow.” He said as he went towards the darkness of the den.

Kiara nodded and settled down into her little nest. She looked at the wall and considered painting like she had planned. But he was right, it was a long day and she was tired. Maybe this night would be more restful. Kiki snuggled into the furs and closed her eyes. The winds picked up again and she sighed deeply. She was so over this fucking cold. That, and everytime she closed her eyes she saw those menacing blue orbs staring at her. The mouth of the cave suddenly seemed less safe. Kiara peered back into the darkness where Sulley went and chewed her lip. She bundled up the furs she was sleeping on and padded softly into the black.

Sulleykaar had morphed into his dragon form this time to sleep. He could only handle that human form for so long before it felt cramped. He moved to a spot to lay and his stomach glowed amber as fire escaped his mouth, burning the area of his newly found ember bed. As he laid over top of the embers, snuffing them out he looked up with glowing eyes to see Kiara shiver slightly and then looked up into the darkness. He sighed as he looked down at the warmed area. ”Kiara.” He spoke calmly as his voiced echoed through the den. The name carried an order to retreat to the darker part of the den with him. He figured with how far out she was and with the day she had she deserved a good night’s rest. Her eyes adjusted easily to the dark, the Unseelie were made for it. She trotted quietly on her bare feet over to the dragon. It was already warmer and less windy here. Kiara laid down the blankets and pushed them into a little nest shape beside the dragon’s chest. She curled up in it, snuggling down and covering the tiny ball she pulled her limbs into with her wings. He laid his head down, his facing her body as he closed his eyes only to barely open one to watch as he brought his tail around her as a wall to block the wind. He once again closed his eyes and started to drift into a sleep.

Eagle’s Peak, Dawn

He stood among the dragons, bound by chains and in a weakened state. He had been defeated by his so-called brethren. Fear in his slitted eyes as he looked down at the Kingdom below.

“You have betrayed us Sulleykaar. Betrayal comes with a heavy price.

“No! It is I who should pay the price! Not them!” The gray phantom of a dragon moved in close to his eyes with an eerie toothy smile.

“But you are paying the price. Starting with-” It turned away to let Sulleykaar get a good view of the red-headed girl before him. His heart sank. “-her.” The phantom wyrm raised his head, ready to strike as his mouth opened, ethereal smoke slid up and away from his teeth as he lunged down.”

“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-”

“OOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” He awoke with a gasp. Sweat dripping down as he looked around the den, or at least making sure that was where he was. His eyes darted around, looking for Kiara and once he saw her sleeping form, his heart rate settled as his breathing stabilized before he got up and ran a trembling hand through his hair. That sudden burst of far might have woken her up. She was hungry after all and it was an emotion she could use to get some nourishment from. Any emotion that a dragon showed was ten fold it's worth in a human. The dragon frowned as he rose from his cot and walked out of the darkened part of the den to the dimly lit opening. Sulleykaar took in a deep breath as he walked to the mouth of the cave and stood at the edge, watching the sunrise. The glowing plants and foliage faded into what would only look like regular plant life. The breeze whipped his hair in front of his face as a slight chill crossed over him.

Kiara had not slept well the night before. The night winds had whipped hard and fast straight through till morning, chilling the stoney interior of the den. It was a strange sensation for Kiara to feel the cold when the core of her being exuded such warmth. Maybe it was mental, and it was just the pain of loneliness. Maybe it was because she felt so incredibly hungry. She considered sleeping closer to the dragon, but that might make him cross with her. Again. So, instead, the faerie curled up into a tiny ball wrapped in furs and shivered until the sun rose. As soon as it did, she got up, even if the dragon was still sleeping… if you could call it that, he seemed to be just as fitful as her all night.

She was standing close to the edge of the cliff face, peering down when the scent assaulted her. Tempting and musky, like the night after a long rain. Her mouth practically watered as her irises when black. She had to have it. Now. The faerie turned on her heels and hunted the source of it, the predatory nature taking over. She stalked over to the cave and found Sulleykaar standing there. The aroma was dissipating like precious sand falling from her fingers. Nonono. ”What happened?!” she said in a hungry hiss, ”Can you do it again?” there was a plea in her words.

She was there in a second, like a shark to the scent of blood. Her question threw him off guard for a second as he briefly forgot what she was. But once he remembered, his face became like stone and the fear vanished almost instantly.

“It was nothing.” He said curtly before sighing and walked past her towards the mouth of the cave. “I need a bath. There is a nice clear lake down the mountain in the valley below. We will go there and after that we will begin your training.”

The faerie smiled, the hungry glint still in her eyes. ”Are you inviting me to bathe with you?” The fear was tantalizing, but this would do just as nicely.

“Just follow me.” His voice echoing through the cave as he morphed into his form and awaited her.

”Yes, sir.” she purred and the grin peeled into a full smile. When he shifted, she waited and climbed up as had become their little routine. She hadn’t expected to get a ride too, perhaps this day would shape up to be much kinder than the last.

The crimson dragon had waited until she was on. ”Hold on.” Was his only warning to her as he leaned to the side and fell off, letting gravity take its course until he had the momentum to stabilize. Kiara giggled characteristically at the fall and attempted to keep grip by essentially bear hugging the dragon’s back. It didn’t do much good, she needed a harness or a rope or she could easily slip off. The single drop and leveling off took them a bit away from the cliff as he flew over treeline for about half a mile before descending on their approach to their destination, Spirit Lake.

The lake itself was massive, flowers and leaves glistened like crystal in the full moon and at the end was a tree that could seem to rival Sulleykaar in size. Tendrils of glowing moss fell towards the water. As they landed, he morphed back into his humanoid form but in a way that wouldn’t cause Kiara to fall on her rump. Once he was situated, a genuine smile etched it’s way onto his face as nostalgia made itself known in his memories.

“If you wish to come in you may.” He said as he took off his robe, leaving a white shirt and leather pants left for the moment as he looked over at Kiara.

”Same to you.” she said foxily before removing the majority of her layers, leaving her covered by a leaf-like skirt and top that only really covered her breasts, basically the faerie equivalent to undergarments.

“Human clothes are too constricting in my opinion.” He said rhetorically. When he took off his shirt, scars upon scars could be seen and more prominently, a large scar that ran from his neck down and across his waist. His pants had come off and one could say, he could give an orc a run for his money. He moved to the water and stepped in before bringing his arms above his head and dove in, warming the area around him from his natural heat alone.

Kiara had made no efforts to look away as he undressed. This was a side of the dragon she had not expected to see so soon. He had many scars, which were mysterious and sexy, they spoke of battle stories that she would love to hear about. She herself had very few scars, an inherited trait from daddy, no doubt. And when the dragon’s trousers were removed, she definitely didn’t make an effort to look away. If you could actually fuck someone with your eyes, that is what she was doing. It wouldn’t be her lust that would feed her, though, so that could wait.

But, if he was in the mind to bare it all, she wasn’t about to be made a prude. Kiara shed the last of her garments before making a running dash for the lake. The water gave a hearty splash when the stone faerie dove in. The lake was shockingly cold, but she was feeling a little bit more like her usual, warm self now, so it was more invigorating than bothersome. Her lithe body moved easily through the currents, and she could stay underwater for quite a long time, it was one of the benefits with hanging out with selkies growing up. There were a few creatures living in the lake, Kiki came face to face with an exotically colorful fish and grinned wide with her hands gesturing on the sides of her face. The fish looked over at her and moved in close to take a look but quickly backed off. As it did, its fishy facial features morphed into something quite hideous and dangerous as it let out a high pitch shriek and snapped at her before hastily swimming off. What an adorable little scary fish, Kiki involuntarily giggled and gulped in some water. The coughing fit that ensued brought her to the surface, flailing and sputtering like an idiot.

Sulleykaar was floating atop the water, looking towards the sky as the birds around him chirped and sung to each other. He sighed as his smile left and was replaced with his usual somber look. He watched as Kiara made her way underwater and shortly turned to face the sky again, his eyes closed trying to gain some peace. But that was short lived as he heard her shoot out of the water in a coughing fit while flailing to gain air which he promptly burst out into a hardy laugh, unknowingly sinking into the water which resulted in a healthy dose of Karma. As the water met his mouth, he breathed in, ready for another laughing fit until he inhaled water himself. His eyes went wide as he quickly brought himself back to the surface in his own small fit.

The faerie’s embarrassment was short-lived, as the dragon’s mocking laughter sank him to her level. Kiara tried to laugh but it turned into more coughing as the last bits of lake water were freed from her lungs. Genuinely happy, she smiled at Sulleykaar, who gave her a mock glare. ”What?” she asked teasingly and swam a bit closer, circling around him.

“This brings me back…” He unconsciously said.

”Used to bring girls here often?” she asked before rolling over to float on her back too - a feat only made possible by spreading out her wings for more surface contact. It felt nice to bathe in the warm, morning sunlight. It had been a while since she’d last granted herself such a luxury.

He gave her a raised eyebrow before a light smirk. “One...Way back when the realms were at their peak of prosper and fortune. Peace was across the land and almost everyone had food for their families and roofs over their heads.” He looked fondly down at the water. “I still remember her name too. Cesilie, a wood elf from Ashborn. Beautiful silver hair that color only rivaled the purest of silver. Teal eyes as clear as a cloudless sky. And a laugh that could turn any depressed man into one of joy.” He thought back with a smile as he moved closer to her.

“Mmm…” Kiara mused with her eyes closed, not noticing that he had moved closer. ”The elves are lovely to look at. Fine wine, as well.”

His soft eyes looked her over. “You remind me of her a bit. Especially that stubborn side of you.” He teased. His smile of joy turned into one of sadness as he thought more about her.

Kiara peeked open an eye and looked over towards him. ”I’m spirited. It’s a good thing.” she smirked playfully and flicked some water at him. The dragon closed an eye as the water hit him and his smirk returned, if only for an instant.

“I haven’t told you much about me have I?” he asked.

”Only when I force you to, and that usually makes you grumpy.” she said, remembering last night

“Very well. I’ll tell you one thing now and I'll tell you more for every task you complete. If you complete them. He smirked before looking at her with dimly glowing eyes. “I am old enough to say that I have seen the fall of Ashborn. He said darkly. Ashborn, the famous and ancient kingdom known to be the first multirace kingdom where there was no king but rather, a council of all races. No one knows why or how the kingdom fell but its infamous demise is known throughout the realms. When a group of travelers came acrossed it, they were shocked by their discovery. Men, women, children of all ages and races, dead but with no signs of war or civil unrest. It is rumored that there were some survivors but no one has stepped forward with such claims.

Kiara’s eyes widened and she sat up, sinking quickly so that she had to tread water. ”Really? That makes you three times as old as my father.” Her eyes swiped up and down what she could see from her place in the water. ”And you look like that

“And three times the wiser.” He quipped with a smirk until she made the comment about his looks which, with a mysterious grin, he placed a hand on his face and pulled down. Wrinkles formed around his face and as he went down his body, more formed until he looked like an old man. His voice changed to that of a raspy and wise one. “Would you rather this?” He said as his voice sound strained.

Kiara looked away then. It wasn’t that he was offensive, just that it would seem impolite to stare at one’s elder like…. Well, like she had blatantly done earlier. ”No, the other way was plenty good. Thank you.” she said quickly.

With a light chuckle he snapped his fingers and the wrinkles disappeared, along with his elderly voice. “Fortunately I will not look like that for quite some time. Old Scales won't show age for another...I don’t remember….Possibly not until I hit around 40,000...maybe longer, I don't remember.” He wrapped to fingers around his chin in thought.

”Good.” Kiara said with a sly smile and ducked under the water. She emerged a distance away and stepped up and out along the shore. Her cherry red hair had darkened considerably and clung to to her back and shoulders.

“Where do you think your going?” He asked with a raised eyebrow.

Kiara turned to face him, completely unashamed and twisted some of the moisture out of her hair. ”Over here.” she smirked.

“Come back in and I may treat you to something….speciaalllll. He said with hunger in his eyes.

She looked at him suspiciously, was he just teasing her? She couldn’t taste anything, not yet. Even still, the temptation was enough to warrant a lip-biting grin. What followed that expression of hers was a jolt of lust that ran through the air as a predatory grin etched itself onto his face. What had started as a slow, seductive descent back into the water became an urgent need to get closer. He drew her in like a moth to light. This was so much stronger than the human changelings’ lust, it felt like a full on tidal wave. She swam over to him, her eyes the same pitch black as they were earlier that morning as she stared at him. A deep inhale of the scent made her cells go into a war-like frenzy.

When she came in close, he grabbed her by the sides of her cheeks and brought her in for a kiss. His tongue literally wrapped around her own and his hands ran up and down her body, his fingers slowly moved to her womanhood. But, once he caressed it once he brought his hands up to her waist and pulled out of the kiss. The shadowy tendrils that had formed between the two of them as she siphoned his emotions snapped as soon as he pulled away. The broken connection felt like a harsh slap. Kiki leaned forward to press her lips against his again, but he moved away. His predatory grin turned into a mischievous one as his eyes glowed blue with ethereal smoke. “Gaar Diin Gol! . His warm hands became even colder than Morrígan’s own as he lept out of the water as the immediate area became solid enchanted ice and grew to the ends of the lake.. She was now trapped and he grinned. “Training begins now. Resist the cold. If you cannot do it before sundown then you will lose the reward of learning more about me.” He said as a chuckle turned into a hard laugh with a shit-eating grin.

Naturally, her first reaction was an intense, uncontrollable burst of rage. She struggled in the frozen lake, which only succeeded in sending stabs of icy pain through her body. ”You said no more lies!” she growled. Realistically, he hadn’t lied… he did offer her a treat. That little stunt was bound to stave off the hunger pains for a few more days, but it had also awoken something quite insatiable. She twitched her arm again and received another frosty assault from the magick. What did he say, exactly? Resist the cold?

Kiara had tried everything she could physically and magickally muster up. She couldn’t smash the ice with rock-hard fists. She couldn’t make herself heavy enough to sink further and grant herself enough wiggle room to break free. She couldn’t even force the planet’s plates apart and earthquake the ice into cracking. It was supernaturally solid, and she was completely stuck in it. Hours of struggling had passed, leaving Kiki physically and emotionally exhausted. Her head hung low in disappointment.

It was in a moment of still, quiet, soul-searching that the idea struck her. Maybe the resistance wasn’t meant to be physical, maybe it was something she had to do within herself. Kiara closed her eyes tight and tried to block everything out: the cold, the sun, the wind, even the birds calling in the distance. ”I am the mountain, I am the tree, I have the earth inside of me.” She repeated it until her mouth was dry.

“That won’t woooork!” He sing songed as he sat down on the ice whistling, teasing her, the ice only dropping in temperature even more.

She opened an eye and shot the most evil glare she could muster, which wasn’t much at this point. Where the hell did he come from, anyway? She closed her eyes again and tried to block him out too. She had never been so focused before, this should be working. WHY wasn’t it working? ”Urrggghhhh!” she growled in frustration after another significant amount of time had passed. She was freezing her tits off, and this fucking sucked. Kiara slumped her head down and rested her forehead against the icy surface and whimpered. Maybe he was wrong about her. She wasn’t the prophet girl of stone, she was just stubborn princess who would spend her final days naked and frozen in a lake. And maybe she deserved that, she had taken a lot of life in her short 30 years, perhaps it was time to restore nature’s balance.

He leaned his head to the side and watched her closely. “This isn’t just about you and your ego and what not. This isn’t about how your father sold you off. This is about your commitment to the greater good that is above yourself. I chose you for a reason. I saw potential. I saw a balance in nature that you can restore but you have to look past yourself in order to see it. This time around, the Unseelie code is wrong. Passion is not before duty. Duty is before passion and your duty is to defend a realm from darkness. He had given her the answer. Whether or not she understood would be another story. He sighed as he rubbed his temples. “You have only a few more hours before the ice takes the life from you...I only hope that you see the answer soon or all could be lost.”

She wanted to say that she understands, but she couldn’t, it would be a lie. She kept her head down, resting on the ice. Passion…. Duty…. Why did he bring that up? He reminded her of her father. She thought of Cynbel, of how he functioned. One would say that he lived against the code, as he spent all his time and efforts on the war. But that was his passion and his duty. She opened her eyes, the light was starting to come on. “I have to be like him.” she said. Her father had given her up because that is what his Queen and country needed. ”I d-don’t have anything, though.” she stuttered through chattering teeth.

“You have your father.” He leaned forward slightly with raised eyebrows. “ Do you have any idea of what his reaction was when I told him you were the price. I could hear his heart sink…”

If Kiara could have physically sunk any lower, she would have. ”No….” she responded. She had treated him so harshly when he told her about it, it seemed childish and silly now, in hindsight.

”He bares a lot on his shoulders and the news that I passed onto him doesn’t help his situation.” He sighed. “He has a daughter who thinks low of him as well as the memory that he sold his daughter off like a slab of meat at the market. This same daughter thinks low of him for a decision that weighs heavily on his heart and he probably worries deep down what will happen to her if things go sour.” He looked at her with soft eyes. “ And then you have me...Who for years have sacrificed many good, innocent/i] people for the sake of those wretched wyrms and for the overall picture. I have killed the only mother figure you had and it hurts me inside because despite who she really was, it was a burden I have to bare now. It’s another regretful decision I now add to a list of atrocities I have done for the greater good. Sometimes you have to make decisions that you don't want to but you have to because it is for the greater good. That’s how I lost my first true love in my lifetime.” He bit his lower lip, cocked his head to the side and looked at her.

”I’m sorry.” she said quietly. The words felt foreign, she had never been able to speak them before because she had never meant them.

“Sorry for what? You’re Kiara of the Unseelie court. What do you have to be sorry for?” He said with slight sarcasm as he pushed her for the answer. A twitch to the side of his mouth.

”For thinking only of myself.” was the reason she gave aloud. For treating daddy the way I did. For hurting Kyla. For not seeing the reason behind why she was here... even that had been clouded by pride and revenge. ”I wanted to learn to kill you. And then to kill them, but only because of what they did to me…. I’m sorry.”

“Killing me?” He looked at her with a cocked eyebrow before chuckling with a genuine smile. “You would be doing me a favor…. but for family...You only ever get one and that’s the truth. Everything else is just a facade, a lie. Your code and your nature always demand the truth. So tell me the truth. Do you love your father? Are you thankful for him being in your life and are you grateful that he has made so many sacrifices to just even try to make you happy or do you truly wish death upon him.” A smile slowly made itself known as the temperature slowly rose, melting the ice and lowering Sulleykaar back into the water.

”Of course I love him.” she began.

“Don’t tell me...They are but words to me. You tell him, then those words will carry more meaning.” He interrupted. The ice cracking and breaking apart.

She closed her mouth, she didn’t really have more to say, so she just nodded.

“You pass...” Surprisingly the water had kept its warmth as the ice faded back to the naturally clear water it once was and, on the dragon’s face, a satisfied smile as he now was floating once again on his back in the water.

Kiara tried to tread water, but her limbs felt stiff. She pulled them in to try to curl up and warm herself, but that made her sink. She knew it would feel worse outside of the water, she would be exposed to winds then. Instead, she swam close enough to the shore so that she could sit and still have her head above water. Kiki hugged herself and stared at the dragon, but didn't speak, she wasn't really even interested in her ‘reward’, she just wanted to feel warm again.

The dragon turned his head in the water to face her, his smile softened as he swam over to the shoreline of where she was. He looked around the lake and then the water before smiling briefly and dove underneath.

Kiara smiled and tried to see what he was up to. Instinctively, she pressed her legs together and tried to cover herself. “Hh-hehe” she giggled through a shiver, stuttering.

Sulleykaar brought forth his true claws as he dug into the lake bottom, using a simple air bubble spell to keep the water out. Once the hole was small enough, He his chest glowed red as he spewed fire from his mouth and into the small opening. The fire was intense as it was hot. As the fire burned and still with the air pocket keeping the water out, he sealed the fire so that it would make a natural hot spring. It took a little while before the water was a like that of a hot spring. With a satisfied nod he moved close to Kiara, wrapping an arm around her shoulder and looked out at the lake. Kiara’s body took even longer to warm up. When stone gets cold, it tends to stay that way for a while… The same thing goes for it getting hot, though.

“What happened this morning…” He paused as his hand squeezed her shoulder slightly. Reluctantly, she leaned in to his touch. The last time she made the mistake of touching him, he used her nature to trap her. She wouldn't be tricked so easily again… Well, as long as she stayed fed, that is.

“Was a memory of when I lost my first love… Cesilie...She wasn’t just some wood elf from the forest. She was Cesilie, daughter of Ayron Caymere, High council of Ashborn. I was supposed to help take down Ashborn with the Children of Tiamat but instead I refused to since I considered it a second home.” He glanced at her. “Ugin, the Son of Tiamat, considered my actions a betrayal and sent his soulless breath across the kingdom...But not before executing her before my eyes.. He chuckled darkly. “You would think that something like that would cause anyone to turn against them but I had my dragon’s pride and greed...a veil of lies covering my eyes from the truth. I realized my mistake at the time and continued on. After the fall the rest is just dark and unwanted history.”

Kiara remained quiet, circling her finger and casting ripples out through the water’s surface. She didn't want to remind him of the wood elf. She had spent her entire life thus far as a reminder of one’s love lost… “You are too much like him.” she said quietly against the arm she had propped on top of her knees as she sat. There was a certain smile on her lips that revealed that it might not be such a bad thing in her eyes, to be like Cynbel.

”Like who? Your father?” He gave her a lopsided grin as he laid his head back and looked to the sky. ”How so?” He turned his head to face her, a mock glare on his face.

”In many ways.” she answered simply. Not a lie, but also not specific. He simply rolled his eyes and shook his head. ”Would you like to see her again?” she asked, changing the subject after some time had passed. Kiara did not want to do it, but she did just get done learning how she should be selfless for the greater good. If it would make him feel better to see her, to apologize, and to say goodbye… Then she should at least offer the opportunity.

He looked over at her with furrowed brows of confusion before shaking his head. ”You’re still trying to kill me I see.” He said with a slight smirk, shaking his head. ”

”What?” her brow furrowed in confusion. Did she offend him? She hadn’t meant to.

”How could I see her again? She was destroyed body and soul. The chances of that are impossible even for me.”

”Oh!” she said quickly in realization and then chuckled. ”No, silly. I don’t have to kill you. You see with your eyes…” When he still looked lost, she explained further. ”Glamour. If you tell me what she looked like, exactly, I could become that. You could say goodbye…. Or whatever you wanted to. If you wanted to.” She was rambling now, mumbling even, nervous at having made the offer.

”There’s no way.” He mumbled in slight disbelief as he stood up slowly and moved in front of her. His eyes said “show me” but deep down he didn’t know if he wanted to see it. Kiara took his hand and placed it on her cheek. She didn’t know if he had practiced art in his 3000+ years, but she was an artist so this made sense to her.Kiki went off of the things he had already said and her eyes shifted first to a brilliant teal color. Then her hair started to turn lustrous and silver at the roots, fading out the bright read all the way to the tips. If he wanted to change the shape of her nose, cheeks, or eyes, he would have to mould her like clay. There were no limits to a faerie’s glamour, they could look however the wanted…. It was the only lie they could tell. ”Glamour is free”, it was a waste to not use it, according the the code.

His eyes widened as she took form of the ghost of his past and his heart raced. The hair, the eyes, the ears, they were right. He whispered the other parts about her to Kiara until it was perfect and he stepped back, tripping over the dragon made underground hill. His mouth slightly agape. For a moment he remained silent until he whispered her name. ”C-C-Cesilie.”. His heart skipped a beat. He slowly moved in closer to her, his hand extended out cautiously as it touched her fair skin. She was here, in front of him. Then it hit him and his heart sank. Ugin’s disciplinary action for betrayal, her screaming pleas, his roars of fear as Ugin swallowed her whole and her screams of pain disappearing with each bite and then finally, his pain of casting her death to the side like garbage. He slowly started to tremble as his lip began to quiver and his eyes became moist as he could start to feel tears making its way to the surface. He voice even trembled. ”C-C-C-C-Ces-Cesil….I…...I... And then, with what seemed like no reason. The feel of sadness ceased and instead turned to pure rage as he let a draconic roar and leapt away from her, morphing into his dragon form and flew off back to cave.

He just left her there. She willingly let the glamour fade, she hadn’t wanted to wear the dead girl’s face anyway. Kiara had just wanted to help, but maybe she wasn’t made for this whole ‘being selfless’ thing. She got up out of the lake and wicked the water out of her once-again-red hair before getting dressed. Kiki frowned at the sky…. She should have paid more attention to the directions Sulley had flown this morning, she had no idea how to get back, or if she could get back on her own…. Or if he even wanted her to come back. With a sigh, she just started walking in the first uphill direction that she saw.

Back at Eagle’s Peak

He barely made it back as he crash landed onto the cliff, through dragonic roars mixed in with his humanoid voice he cried out in painful sadness, tears flowed like the river beneath him and he clutched his heart, as he banged his head on the flat rock, where he laid. He leaned back and screamed, his pain echoing through the land. She stood before him, even as an imitation and he couldn’t pull himself to say the words he wanted to so badly that day. Instead, between sobs, he only but whispered her name and in between er name just the phrase. ”I’m sorry...I’m sorry.
