You showed up.

One way or another, you've arrived at my profile. You've taken a wrong turn in an alleyway because you didn't pay enough attention to your map. You've heard of something cool and new and thought maybe you'd see what all the fuss is about? Or maybe it is that you noticed like me updating my status or were lurking through an RP or something I am in and just kinda clicked my profile, that happens too. Regardless, you'll come to learn that your actions have consequences. Not this one since you can always just, like, leave.

I have a few names and I don't mind being called whatever you fancy at that given time. KingofTheSpectrum, FamishedPants, ChadChadlainn. Any derivative of these is fine as well. Most tend to use Pants, however. I'm nearing my thirties and enjoy games, anime, V-tubers, and visual novels. You can find my still-obsolete list here as it contains everything important on it.

As for games particularly, I am a huge fan of Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Solid, Nier and its sequel, FFXIV, and recently, Project Wingman.I tend to lean towards shooters and action games, but I have also wasted 8+ years on League of Legends. I think the only games I tend to avoid are card games and sports games, but there can always be exceptions.

For anime, I tend to watch whatever looks entertaining. It doesn't have to be good. I've seen a lot of the generic, poor-quality isekai harems that are out there. It's difficult to remember what I actually genuinely like, but Chaika the Coffin Princess comes to mind, as well as FMA: Brotherhood. I'm currently enjoying Tokyo Revengers.

I've read my fair share of visual novels, as my list would tell you. I can't recommend going through Muv Luv Extra/Unlimited, then playing Alternative enough! Big fan of Rance, Grisaia no Kajitsu, and Demonbane as well. I could probably go on and on about them, but I'll stop here.

Also, fuck you, Broken.

As far as waking up in unfamiliar places had gone, this was perhaps one of the more 'unique' results. A byproduct of the destructive lifestyle that Archibald was living recently was that he occasionally found himself in unfamiliar locations, usually with a nasty hangover. Most would say that such things were unbecoming of a man with such a proud, undisclosed wealthy descent. But most people were not him, and so he did not very much care for how they thought he should act. Living life as a sheltered, but curious boy for all of his childhood had been torture. So he grew up determined to do things he wanted to do, not what he'd been told to do. That kind of life was for other, less-willful people. And perhaps some of this was just to spite his parents, who had treated him more akin to an object than their child.

But I----

...What? Why does this feel so familiar? It's almost as if I'd been in this place before...

This place was odd. It was foreign. It was strange. It was unfamiliar. It was... also familiar.

A contradiction, and one that Alistair was aware of. Yet, despite being safely able to claim he'd never set foot in this particular place before, he was nagged at by a sense of deja vu, of a sort of familiarity to the place. And before he even gave an entire sweep of the room, he could predict where certian things were going to be in it. If he wasn't so confident he'd never seen the place before, he would have to wonder if he'd been brought here at some point in his life.

But perhaps worrying about this sensation wasn't to his benefit. There were other matters to attend to. Two, in fact. Strange, should there not be more? Alistair wasn't sure why he thought that, though. "You talk too much." he commented to the young man who had introduced himself as 'Flame', his tone indicating his growing ire. Alistair began to push himself up from the chair when he noticed that, quite like the rest of the room, the chair he'd found himself on was also dusty. This now meant that his clothes which had come into contact with said chair were also dirtied. One could almost see the veins in his forehead as he bolted up from the chair and gave it a strong kick, sending it flying into the wall behind it. Instead of an angry outburst, however, he did his best to remain calm as he wiped the spots that had been dirtied down, hoping to remove as much dust as possible. He then addressed the young man's question as if nothing had happened.

"As fun as having a chat with some kid sounds, I think I'd much rather prefer finding out where or when we are." he bluntly stated, heading towards the nearest door. "You two," he glanced at the priest, or at least a guy wearing the getup of one, and continued, "Alistair Archibald is the name. That's all I feel like telling you, even if we all seem to be on the same boat." he did not wait for their answers, but he did hestitate for the slightest moment at the door. With a strong push, he opened the door that would lead to the outside world. They could follow if they so chose, but it mattered very little to him. He was certainly in no mood to play friends.

The only harem I will be a part of is my own. This 'Talus' be damned!
George Henry

What have you gotten yerself into now, George?

In truth, George almost had to hide his face to mask the fact that this entire situation was humorous to him. It was not that the threat of a potential death was funny, or the fact that someone was resorting to taking a hostage to obtain someone's handbook. No, the funny thing about this situation, at least to Henry, was that his aversion to trusting people was justified mere minutes after the meeting's start. Not to speak of how flamboyant this whole situation was. Directly threatening to blow someone up in front of the whole group? What audacity. And how foolish. Was this item really that important? Hell if George knew, he only just got here. But he did know this: people like that weren't safe to keep around.

There was not much for George to do. While it did concern him, he was not directly involved in the situation. It was up to the others to decide if they were going to cave into his demands or if someone were to die today. He did have to wonder just what kind of yield a vial that size might have, and if it truly was enough to cause as much damage as they were being led to believe. He was an expert on firearms, not explosives, so while skeptical, it was not as though he could confidently claim otherwise.

So George remained quiet, acting as an observer for now. Zachary seemed to be taking this stance as well, but rather than the unamused expression Henry was attempting to wear, Zach's was dire. As if he was concerned about the situation escalating. George couldn't say he felt that way. Even if the potential victim was somebody he actually recognized, it was not as though he had an attachment to Faith. But if she were to die, if this man were to go so far as to kill someone over a handbook, even abusing the rules of this 'game', then so be it.

It just might bite him in the ass later.

I misread the original review as having C average, so I lowered both to D. But I'll move my app over to character tab, then. Ahrigato.
Toru Ayanokoji

"And so I return!"

[@Nobodyistoorelevanttothepost]

It hadn't exactly been too long since Toru had entered his dorm room. His roomie was nowhere to be found, which meant he had nobody to bug with pointless questions or jokes. How dull. What was the point of having a roommate if they weren't there at your beck and call? People these days...

"Ah, there's nothing to do in here but sleep!" Toru moaned. Something of note is that his body did not require rest, like other peoples. Like food, such an action was merely something he learned to appear more like an average human being. Plus, keeping himself occupied 24/7 was more or less impossible and waking people in the middle of the night because you're bored or because you want to screw with them was generally frowned upon. So he only did it occasionally.

Digression aside, Toru'd spent a fair amount of time in the locker resting his eyes. He really wasn't in the mood to do some more of that, at least not right now. As mentally exhausted as he may have been dealing with some of the unique individuals this school had to offer, sleep wasn't going to fix that. Suffering the impending boredom that the night would bring, Toru thought of ways to mess with the person who would eventually return to this room.

A standard whoopie cushsion was briefly considered, but Toru was a professional. Novice pranks like that were beneath him. He also considered a classic: placing a bucket filled with water above the door, but he recalled the last time he attempted such a prank. The person who triggered it had a quirk that did not react too kindly with the water, and Toru got into actual trouble. Plus, nobody laughed. No, he must go even further beyond the novice and the classic pranks! He must create a new, original prank that was sure to catch his prey by surprise! It'd have mustard, it'd have hotwheels, hell, it'd even have a machete. This idea he suddenly developed was perfect! Yes, he must---

*RING RING*

What the actual hell is this?

Ayanokoji would not classify what suddenly blared through the room as "music", but that was perhaps what it was trying to be. He jumped up, having been laying down on his bed as he was concocting a new prank, and quickly searched the room for the source of the noise. It did not take long and the culprit was a phone, his phone. "Oh, I forgot I picked this as a ringer. How obnoxious. I wonder if my roomie had to deal with this?" He flicked the back of his head as he realized, picking the phone up and glancing at the screen. Aside from enough missed calls to fill the memory card, there was one text:

"Boy howdy old partners. I have a small request, and I know we haven't talked in forever but in order for me to truly shine in class 1B, I need a specialized team of operators for my plan. I call it "Fuck Amane." And I know, great name, great concept, it can't go wrong! Meet me outside the bathrooms so we can discuss logistics. I was thinking we could somehow punch him in the face as well without getting in trouble because we could provoke him or something so he hits Momoru first. Any ideas, save them for the meeting, I'm on my way there now. Oh, this is Lysander, aka best wire quirk in the school." the text read.

Would this be his first text from someone who wasn't his mother? Perhaps. And as sad as that may have been, something else bugged him. "What kind of low-tier prank is this?" he thought to himself. Yet, he also recalled the situation he was in. He could go along with this 'prank', or he could hope boredom did not claim his unlife.

I suppose I'll take what I can get.

Toru left the room, walking past the group that had gathered in the dorm hall, even recognizing a couple. They seemed in a hurry, so he bothered not with greeting or otherwise interacting with them, instead passing them by and heading towards the bathrooms that this 'meeting' would apparently take place at. Hopefully, they'd end up doing something more 'prank-like' than baiting someone into attacking them. That actually sounded somewhat villain-like, now that he was concentrating on the subject. Yeah, they should do something cooler, less evil! Something like the prank he was just thinking about! Yeah, that's right they should...

...Oh shit, I forgot! I think it involved ketchup and legoes? No, that's not it...damnit! My magnum opus!

Ignoring the young man offering a girl he just met his meat, Alistair confidently faced forwards, braving the sight of the new world in which they found themselves. He was very thankful that nobody mentioned how a meeting room would generally not have an exit to the outside and instead would lead further into the building they were in because as far as I'm aware meeting rooms aren't just their own thing and instead exist as part of a bigger building. But if I overuse strikethrough, Warp may think I don't intend on taking this RP seriously so I will likely lessen my use of it for a little bit, excuse me. Daytime was not especially blinding, but the view before them was... a bit confusing for the Archibald. Like the outside noise had suggested, the world, at least as of right now, seemed to be rather primitive in architectural design and in general. Alistair took note of things like the dirt roads, the lack of anything that seemed to resemble modern infrastructure, and also the clothing the people on the street wore.

He did not care one bit for this. He'd prefer to be sent into a world where the culture and technology it used was more futuristic. The past was very inconvenient, he had learned. But aside from this, the peasants walking the streets did have something quite unique that caught his attention: some had animalistic features. Fur, tails, some even appeared as though they were more animal than human. How strange. How interesting.

He wasn't sure if he should be worried, though.

Thankfully, there were normal-looking humans walking the streets too, else he might have thought this to be some kind of Planet of the Apes scenario. Not being especially consistent with commoner culture, that was the best he could do. "For those of you still in denial, I would recommend taking a nice long look at all of this. I fail to see any way that this is all some elaborate joke, as a brighter individual would choose either furries or a renaissance festival, not both." he declared to his companions. Well, that particular word was a bit much. "Fellow victims" was perhaps the best way to describe how Alistair currently thought of them. It was not like he particularly cared for them, they just happened to be in the same situation.

Alistair slammed his fist into the wall beside him after taking a step outside the building, still pretty irritated despite the somewhat comical deduction. "This is such a pain in the ass," he complained. "No air-conditioning, no electricity... and I seriously doubt my credit cards will be useful here. Wait." having remembered finally to check his person, Alistair searched his clothes to see what was on him. He retrieved a few things:

His wallet, with everything in it. His license, a small amount of cash, and the aforementioned credit cards.

His phone, which presumably had no service. He turned it off for now.

Finally, his car keys.

Shit, nothing here's gonna help, is it?

Alistair noticed that one of the animal-like citizens had stopped and begun staring at him. Particularly, his coat. He locked eyes with this being, it was one of the mostly-human ones, with cat-ears and a tail. There was a brief moment they stood still, neither speaking, until Alistair finally got fed up. "It's cat-fur!" he barked at her, unsure if she'd even understand him. If not, his tone must have gotten through as she jumped in surprise and with a rather cute yelp, scurried away. Some others appeared to take notice of him as a result.

Turning around, he faced the group he had arrived with, most of who did not appear to be too eager to leave the room. Most of whom were actually pretty young. Perhaps he should help them? Ah, but that was a bother. At the very least, a suggestion, maybe? "Unless they accept Visas or USD, I suspect this dirty hellhole will have to serve as a sort of home for us." he mentioned. "Not that I am content with such a piss-poor place, mind you. It is just ever-so-slightly better than resting outside, and given its condition, I doubt anybody intends on reclaiming it anytime soon."

Alistair turned his back to the group once again. "I will make my way back to this place once it gets dark, assuming that I am not blessed with a better place. Until then, I suggest you guys stay in groups, but I don't intend on babysitting you. Good bye." stating this, Alistair Archibald took off with the intention of perhaps learning more about the world and possible job opportunities that weren't dubious.

Really rolling out the red carpet, isn't she?

One word.

One word, and everything around Alistair had changed.

Did he just say 'Shamrock'?

But I digress.

Alistair had listened to the others who decided to speak before ever bothering to do so himself. While he was still but a young adult, from the looks of the rest of the people in the room, he was one of the oldest. Some of the others appeared to be children, even. One was even literally live-action, so he wasn't exactly sure how old she was supposed to be. Neither of the two who had spoke decided to bring her existence up, so perhaps this was a normal thing that he should just ignore. In situations like these, it would likely be an ideal case to act with a calm mind and confidence, so as to keep others from reaching a state of panic that would cause an incident. Having at least a mild familiarity with their situation, Alistair would be able to keep a cool head and he certainly intended to. Yet, just before he was able to speak to place the group's mind at ease, he glanced down at the very chair he was resting in, noticed the dust upon said chair, and the general vibes one might've gotten from him afterward would, by some, perhaps be considered 'unfriendly'.

"The hell is this!?" he growled as quickly stood up and violently kicked the chair back, probably destrying it in the process. He patted all the ares that came into contact with the chair before going on a rant. "First she kidnaps me... then she threatens me... and now she throws me into this sphincter of a location and gets my clothes dirty... this 'kid' REALLY knows how to try my patience!" through careful analysis, one could potentially deduce that Alistair was not a happy individual. "Listen well, my fellow victims! I, Alistair Archibald, am usually a benevolent and tolerant man, but there a three things I simply cannot stand: People who order me around, people who insult me, and... people who use black text on this website because its hard to read stand in my way!"

Declaring this, the arrogant man made his way to the exit of the meeting room, forcibly pushing aside anybody who might've been in his way. He did, however, stop before opening the door. "There is no use in speaking about things until we've established where and when we are." he told the group. Perhaps others tried arguing this point. But that did not matter. Assuming the door wasn't locked, he pushed it open, revealing the new world they found themselves in.
Zachary Ackerson

A familiar young boy bends his knee in prayer to a new, brilliant sun resting above him. Still plagued with an ever-present darkness, he clings to the light provided by it, worshipping it almost as if it were a god. But who could blame him? He no longer had the light of the old sun, and the encroaching darkness only grew stronger by the minute, attempting to devour anything and everything it could. Were it not for this 'savior', he knew he'd be consumed, too.

It was an act of desperation, really. He no longer had any other options.

The boy looked to his right, but did so knowing it was in vain. There was no longer any light there. It'd been taken from him and would not return, even despite the sun. So he turned and looked to his left. The darkness threatened to do the same to the there, too, but it had not yet claimed the area. He was simply too much of a coward to try to look behind him, and the path forwards was sealed. Almost everywhere had been corrupted, perverted, destroyed, removed by this darkness. Almost everywhere, but upwards. Upwards, he could look. It was the one place that the darkness seemed to be unable to reach, and so he had no choice to look up to the new sun.

He wondered if it would be alright to reach out and touch it. Would he defile it with his unworthy touch? He wasn't sure, but he knew he wanted nothing more than to be able to dispel the darkness like it could. Perhaps if he prayed to it, idolized it enough, it would rub off on him? It was worth a try. Anything to keep from falling. Anything to keep him sane in this cruel place. If the new sun was with him, he felt like the darkness could never touch him.

But if she wasn't...

Zachary Ackerson had not felt particularly energetic this morning, perhaps to the surprise of nobody. He awoke with the usual morning announcments, only to simply remain in bed, almost lifeless. He knew he should get ready and go eat and start his day properly, but the life just was not in him. He wanted to say it was the fault of the events of yesterday. The outcome of that trial was rather upsetting, considering the circumstances behind the murder. But he was not especially close to anybody who had perished, so it was more likely he was simply being lazy.

But a knock at his door roused the young man from his bed moments later anyway. He perked up as much as he could and hopped from the bed, making sure he was at least semi-presentable before approaching the door and opening it. "Hey Jez, what's up?" he asked the clown with a brilliant smile before realizing that was not who it was at all.

His smile quickly vanished.

George Henry

"'Jez'? I reckon that's one of them other folks, yeah?" was the gunslinger's response to Zachary's incorrect assumption.

To any onlooker, George was currently contrasting heavily with Zachary. He appeared to be fully awake and active, and likely had been for quite some time, while Zachary struggled to look just alive enough that their robotic bear wouldn't accidentally sound a Body Discovery Announcement. Henry was wearing a smirk that suggested he was enjoying life at the moment, while Zach almost seemed horrified at the cowboy's presence. Zachary's quiet reply noticably differed from the confident tone George was speaking. "...Yeah, that's..." The archer seemed very unsure how to speak at the moment, and Henry could not tell if it was due to surprise or if his rival was simply out of it. Either way, the cowboy watched in amusement as Zach tried to continue. "Err, sorry, I'm just a bit tired. Haven't seen you in some time, George." Ackerson greeted with an attempt at more vigor. "I don't believe we've seen each other since the compet---"

"Lets focus on talkin' 'bout the present!" George quickly interjected, frantically waving his hands. However, he regained composure just as quickly and continued, "...I figured I'd seek ya out, on account of us having somewhat of'a shared past an' all." he explained. "Folks nowadays, ya can't trust many of 'em. Learned that the hard way, ever since this darned bear showed up." George noted Zachary's complex expression. He seemed confused at first, but then he shook his head after what George assumed to be him finishing making a decision.

"Yeah, I kinda understand what you mean." the Infinite Archer agreed, a bit to the Gunslinger's surprise. Being destined rivals, he was did not expect Zachary to actually agree with him. George raised an eyebrow as Zach continued, "I mean I would prefer to be able to trust everybody else, but seeing these trials and the fact that they keep happening...I've only really gotten very close to one person." pausing for a moment, Zachary looked George in the eyes, "But wait, why are you approaching me about this?"

The Gunslinger gave a hearty laugh, "Yer a strange one, pal. I ain't got much faith in making good with folks I meet here. Liable'll stab ya in the back before long. But you? We're at least acquaintences, ain't we? Might be less of a chance of ya doing that to me, I figure. And 'sides," he smiled, "We've got ourselves a score to settle once we make it outta here. If we can make it out of here, that is." George pat the Archer on the back with more force than he probably should have before finishing up. "'Course, if ya don't want to hang around this cowboy, I understand."

George waited while Zachary presumably took a moment to think about it. The Archer then nodded, "Well, alright. I don't know what you mean about 'settling the score', but Jez did say I should be trying to make other friends..." he told the Cowboy, who took note of the name drop.

"This 'Jez' feller must be a good friend of yours." he surmised. Henry was pretty sure that Zachary only had a father, so it was unlikely to be a sibling.

Zachary's face was just slightly red. Henry wasn't sure why, though. "Oh, uh, yeah. She's my friend." because of the way Zachary emphasized that particular word, George was beginning to think there was something more to it. But it honestly did not matter to the gunslinger, at least not yet. The old him might've tried to get the Archer to speak more about them, but that was... when he was a lot more innocent of the cruel and perverted nature of this world.

"I see. I reckon I'll get to meet the missus soon enough. Wasn't much in the mood for mingling' when I left the elevator, so I reckon I'll get acquainted with people as I meet them."

It was about this time that, coincidentally, the announcement from Jezebel had sounded across Axis Mundi. The two listened closely, and when it finished, Zachary perked right up. "That was Jez." he told George. "We should go, unless you aren't one for crowds?"

"Shoot! And get blindsided when things go haywire? Nah, I ain't for remaining uninformed if I can help it." he denied.

"Huh?" Zach raised his eyebrow, "What do you mean?"

"Don't worry 'bout it. Anywho, we ought to get goin', then? Care to lead the way?"

"Oh, sure."

And so, the two headed to study. There may have been a significant lack of hugging, probably literally quoting Asriel from Undertale in the pacifist ending, and other such stuff, but at least now they would be available for collabs.

"Ya know... yer friend sure has a special way of talkin."
