Looking for ideas

Hey guys. I'm trying to find RP ideas that aren't overused, and my mind keeps focusing around zombies, Halo, and futuristic space things. Not very specific, I know, but I can't think of a lot. If anyone has any other ideas, feel free to share!

That's not inherently a bad thing. Why not pinpoint exactly what you like about each setting and apply it to something original. Or, you know. An outbreak of Zombie on a mission into space kinda deal.

So are people still here? Or is it just that are people are busy/suffering with blocks?

Star Wars, SAO and a couple of other thangs!

So the main reason I'm posting is because I would like to know if anyone could direct me to a decent Star Wars RP, or if anyone was planning to make one? Preferably High-Casual or Advanced. I don't mind joining an active RP as long as people can give me a brief overview of what's occurred. I thought about setting one up myself but I don't think I could spare the time. Also, I just wanted to promote my own RP and a couple of others that I'm in. All of these could use some new blood!

• Firstly I'm running a casual Sword Art Online RP. It's set on an alternate server and has a different sort of plot to the anime/manga.
• Sanctuaryis a casual RP that originally started on the Old Guild. It's just started a new chapter so it's a great time to join. It's a fantasy rp set in a mildly futuristic world, where spirits possess people and give them unique powers. It's currently going through a quiet patch, but it's gone through many before and always manages to pick itself up!
• I'm also in an Advanced rp named Hailstorm. It's an apocalyptic rp set in an alternate world. It's still very early days so new players won't have to catch up on much at all.

Lucius Fairfax – Inside Gregory (the town, not the man) 2 days after meeting Jones and Co.

Lucius sat up against a wall, his legs tucked warmly inside his sleeping bag. A couple of feet to his right was the pub’s fireplace, and much to his bliss it was keeping him sufficiently warm. This wasn’t an inn, there were no rooms for guests, but many paying customers littered the small L-shaped room in a desperate bid to escape the storm and catch some sleep. From what Lucius could tell the entirety of the small village had decided to abandon their homes and take refuge in The Duke’s Head. It appeared that either their own homes lacked adequate protection against the elements, or they feared that others might try to take their shelter by force. “What the hell are you playing at Joop?” came a disgruntled patron, “You can’t just allow any old outsider in here! They could be murders, rapists, or spies!” Lucius tried to ignore the large man, but it was clear the complaint was being directed at him. “I can if they’re paying Vinnie!” came a voice from beyond Lucius’ vision. Vinnie was a youngish man and very heavy set. He had a bald head adorned with small scars. And it was clear by the black veins that ran along his forearms and circled his eyes, that he was reasonably burdened. Lucius subtly grabbed his machete beneath his sleeping bag and prepared him to roll out of it if need be; he never zipped it up in case of situations like this. “Fucking traitor!” Vinnie sorted before turning back to Lucius. His eyes drifted lazily about, unable to fully fix on his target, suggesting to Lucius that the man was drunk. Vinnie slipped from his seat and stumbled towards Lucius before taking a knee. The drunkards friends watched closely, waiting to pounce if need be. “I can tell ya know…” Vinnie let out a snarl and a burp, “You’re gonna be a pain in the arse.” Lucius tensed his arm in preparation to thrust at Vinnie through the sleeping bag, but fortunately the man just smiled before returning to his friends. “Come on Vinny, stop playing around. We need to get moving.” Grunted one his friends. It was safe to say that Lucius didn’t drop off to sleep until long after the men had packed up and left. Why would anyone be mad enough to go out in this weather though?

Twas a good post, Kyle. It should help in breathing some life back into this thing. Have you messaged any of the people who haven't voiced their participation in this? As for the post, should we keep it to one post for our combat? Taking up multiple posts might be stealing the show from everyone else as they just watch.

To be honest, I've not even gone out of my way to check who has and hasn't been participating. If people want to drop in randomly and do things they can, as long as they don't ruin consistency. For combat in general, I would prefer that combat takes up less posts. So either one post or a collab in some cases. The exception being boss fights where it'll be too awkward making everyone collab.

Always accepting! As for your character in particular, I must point out a couple of things first:

• Two-handed sword is different from duel wielding (which I'm guessing is what you actually meant). I'm going to say no dual wielding swords because of the whole 'chosen one' thing around it. I'd have no problem with the twin blade though. Sorry to be a kill joy.
• Also, there's no archery. Although there is blade-throwing.

Sword Art Online: Second Server

Time-skip posted. It's now Monday morning. The 37th floor meeting is on Tuesday morning. The initiation is just for the character's who are joining the Braziers. Everyone else can do as these please :)
