Prof. Namashiya Kotori - Time for Breakfast

Quietly proceeding through the hallways, the little songbird fondly reminisced about the days of the past. Where life was simpler, Espers were just starting to truly blossom in the world, and they weren't just there for war or profit. Days where she could quietly read a book with an old friend, and not worry over the stability of the world.

A time where she didn't have to watch the news with a sense of dread with every disaster that occurred, or every conflict that broke out.

It was then that she realized that she had forgotten something. Something she had promised many years ago, and still kept to as often as she could. Turning quickly, Kotori broke into a hurried run and burst through the open doors to the outside world. With the inviting warmth of the sun on her face, she took a moment in this serenity before exploding into the air, and tearing off in a particular direction.

Whisking through the air above the market that sprawled across the landscape right next to her apartment, she quickly procured a series of ingredients. Thin sliced turkey, rich whole grain bread, vibrant roma tomatoes, crisp red leaf lettuce, crunchy bacon, provolone cheese, and a egg cooked over easy with a speckling of black pepper from a breakfast nook. Payment would clatter upon the table of each as she proceeded to similarly buy a plump orange and a delectable granny smith apple.

Pausing for a brief moment, an invisible knife would chop up the lettuce, slice the tomatoes, and then the delectable looking sandwich would come together suspended in the air. Wrapped tightly ina ziplock bag then, the same invisible knife would slice up the apple, and apply a hint of lemon juice to help preserve it, and of course add an extra hint of tartness. The orange would be quartered, and then cut into eighths afterward, and both would find ziplock bags for both.

Tucking them neatly into a brown paper bag, a quartet of Lemons would be bought as she strode along the market's hallway. While they trailed past her in the air, the four citrus fruits would seem to skin themselves, tear themselves apart into a juicy, tattered mess, and get dropped into a cup of ice and water, only to get blended together with some sugar to create a delicious cold lemonade.

Kicking off into the air once again with this delectable lunch, a sharp change in direction brought her towards an office tower. Subtly unlocking a window telekinetically from the inside, the young Professor nonchalantly walked towards a Secretary's desk.

A secretary that always looked puzzled whenever she appeared. Even though she had been doing this at least once a week since she found out he was working there.

She had promised years ago to make him lunch from time to time, a promise that she would continue to hold fast to.

"A lunch dropoff to Kirima Sasaki." Her melodic, Japanese-tainted voice quietly stated, not wanting to risk disturbing any ongoing work that might be going on behind the heavy looking doors.

Handing the bag of food and glass of lemonade alike to the Secretary, a hint of a bittersweet smile crept upward on her lips as she turned about and headed back towards the open window at the end of the hallway.

Swinging open the window, she would stand upon the edge that lead to the open sky beyond, and she would lift herself into the cool breeze, only to suddenly plummet towards the Earth. As the sidewalk neared with growing rapidity, she would calmly wait.

Terrified cries from below worried for her mortality would ring out, only to be silenced as she abruptly changed direction. Skimming above heads and traffic alike as she only hoped for one simple thing: she wanted him to enjoy his lunch.

Arriving quickly back at the school, the little Songbird walked quietly through the front door, and began the long walk back to the cafeteria to similarly grab a bite to eat.

Plucking up a tray, she carefully selected an apple, an orange, and a bowl of cereal alongside a glass of Orange Juice and a glass of milk before finally sitting down at a table, alone.

Miserably so, yet it was a weakness she would never show.

Instead she took a bite of cereal, opened her phone, and began to read about the news of the day. Hoping that she would not find something that she would be forced to help or support.

Not sure if broken. A period indicates a placeholder. O.o
I kinda want to post as Garnet right now, but I want to give others a chance to take actions, even though Garnet is mostly a Stationary NPC at current.

Then do so! XD
Minerva Fairchild - Inquisition

Cassius tried to defend his actions, but of all his words the most surprising were the revelation that this kidnapping was sanctioned by the Regent of Lindblum! Remaining purely silent then, the Lieutenant knew all too well that if such news caught to the wind, it would mean war.

War that she wasn't willing to help cause in the least.

Yet as Cassius departed, a sudden presence looming over her from behind caused her to meet eye to eye with burning spite to Itzal. Similarly as she, he was seeming to take measure of her silently, and Minerva needn't state anything else. Or at least she seemed unwilling.

Turning back to where Cassius had gone, she marched forward with a gracefully smooth stride. Moving through the hallways, the Lieutenant sharply listened while waiting for a hint as to where Garnet had been stowed away by the crew.

Thankfully, it didn't take long. Hearing an exchange of voices to which one was distinctly familiar, Minerva waited for Cassius to leave before slipping into the room herself quietly.

There, with her back turned was the Princess herself.

"Your Highness," Minerva interjected suddenly, causing Garnet to turn about as she bowed deeply and respectfully to the Royal. "It may be impudent of me, but what in the Gods name are you doing here? Why did you decide to leave the castle? Beatrix gave me orders to be your ward and little else. I'm hoping you have more information."

Close enough.

@NarayanK

Koto, a few years from now:

Fun question: who is Sasaki's main operative? Who is the scalpel, if Ria is the battering ram? Is it Mika?

Whatever it is, you have ny approval as co-GM to do so.

I'm having difficulty finding the picture.

Extreme difficulty.

Need to find a picture of Koto slightly older by 4-5 years. With a mini-Koto. :3
