I got money, I'll just buy the whole prison including all inmates from the state, but not before placing a bet on the financial markets that crime rate will massively increase very soon and suddenly.

I'd change the name from 'President' to 'Presidentist' to troll the nation. If a press conference is too noisy, I let a piece of chalk screech on an old whiteboard in front of the microphone.

Who the hell is this person behind those many miles of fiber optics and copper cable ?

  • I'm a 34 year old guy.
  • ... who's working as a software developer
  • ... and enjoys roleplaying as a casual hobby to distract himself from ongoing stress


And into which hell will I descend with you participating in one of my roleplays?

  • I'm a fantasy addict: medieval high and low!
  • I'd consider myself to be a low casual roleplayer, 3 paragraphs per post on average.
  • My schedule varies. It might happen that I won't be able to post at all for a week, but then again it might happen that I'll reach a sweet spot inside which I can go on a posting rampage. I'd say one can expect 1-2 posts a week from me, depending on the lengths involved.
  • English is not my native language, but so far I've not encountered anyone who had had trouble with me over that :)

"Delivering some urgent messages here, slaying an evil dragon there..." He chuckled again. "No no. Not the latter one, of course." Well - at least the former item on his list was halfway correct. "Rather boring stuff to make a living." He didn't want to exaggerate things, but telling her that he was a savage because he was half demon also was not an option. Perhaps what he was telling her was true for Xavier.

His companion seemed to be occupied with other things however...

"Nothing particular." Madawc answered, already having to chuckle. "I'm... sort of an adventurer as you'd probably call it." He saw what was happening and had to suppress an internal urge to start laughing. "Xavier ? Don't let things escalate too quickly, will you ?"

"Madawc is sufficient." he replied. If she knew what he was... On the other hand: He wanted to know what the cause of this curious feeling was, but he hadn't the means to find it out right now. It left him with having to monitor her closely - and Xavier as well. The mute appeared to become quite... influenced... by her proximity to him. It was time to pull out another piece of parchment:

"It seems you're in a bit of a dilemma right now. Either you take on your intimidating helmet again and just give another shock to a frightened woman or you let her see you blush. I'd offer to handle her for you since I'm not feeling any influence, but I can't."

Madawc used the reins to gently get Xavier' horse alongside his own one. Both Xavier and Betty could probably see how its back noticeably sagged. The chubby demon was thinking, then reached for his bag on the pack animal. After a short but quite chaotic search that had concluded with Madawc just pushing everything else back into his bag until he could close it, he handed the woman a thin blanket he normally used for sleeping.

Then he looked to Xavier and grinned. He had noticed how the mute became influenced by her sitting in front of him.

Madawc did something highly unusual for him. He got out a piece of parchment himself, one of the many pieces he had collected over the past few days since he had met Xavier and that there written on one side by the mute. He scribbled something on the other side and handed it to the mute, knowing that he probably would not be able to pull the same trick off a second time once the girl knew more about the mute and would thereby be able to raise suspicion about why Madawc wasn't just talking to him.

The parchment was written hastily and read: "Be careful. Let her sit in front of you while you hold the reins. I have a very strange feeling about her, I can sense that." He kept looking at them, trying to estimate their combined weight.

"We are and we can. Better than leaving you here - though these guys probably won't be a problem anymore." Madawc got himself into the discussion with the lazy, halfway death-ignoring tone of the demon. Xavier had been quite efficient in understanding and adopting his approach it seemed.

"How do we do it Xavier ?" he asked the mute.

I've to admit that Asmund probaby is a kinda extreme case. He's not only around 9', but also incredibly muscular and noticeably overweight.
