Skythikon said Thrust vectoring is just the hydraulic adjustment of the nozzle to redirect thrust, so there's no reason it can't be used with a turbojet since the powerplant doesn't quite matter, The MiG-25 uses a variable choke nozzle, so it'll just be a case of removing those, linking them to flight control systems and installing the hydraulics to allow them a greater degree of movement.

Ah, that makes sense. Though, I've since replaced the R-15s with thrust-vectored D30-F6s from the MiG-31 as Silver suggested, since they are more reliable and much better at low altitude flying.

Can the more knowledgeable folk here recommend a thrust vectorable or already thrust vectoring pair of engines to replace the 25's Mach 3+ turbojets? Or, if possible, can the turbojets themselves be modified and made to thrust vector? Wiki says thrust vectoring is typically only used with turbofans.

I was looking through the plane list and saw the MiG-25 Foxbat. One of my favorite planes so I'll be using that. Plus, we don't have an interceptor yet.

Carmen's head whipped around at the sound of a lady yelling into a megaphone. Her eyes narrowed. She turned back to Ara when the announcement was finished and spoke her mind: "Aren't we supposed to be on holiday? Disrupting the peace to yell at everyone to come over as soon as possible isn't really...appropriate," she mused. "But! Beach Olympics do sound fun...maybe we'll get to use that volleyball net." Ara remarked how "beach" was really general. "I would hope everyone would follow the sound of the megaphone...but you're right," Carmen responded. "It's not exactly a very helpful description. I get the feeling she was making up that announcement on the spot...which is more like a holiday. Alright...I guess it's acceptable," she finished, satisfied that her personal diatribe had reached a conclusion.

"Well, let's go!" With that, she began walking towards the beach, looking back at Ara to make sure he would follow. Looking at the beach across the way, Carmen observed a lot of the other students slowly congregating around the megaphone lady, noting particularly how scantily clad most of the other women were. Well, they're certainly dressed for the occasion, she thought to herself. This sundress is staying on, though. It's too fashionable to take off.

Honestly the Guild is still a lot better in terms of activity than the RPG forum I joined before this one, RPGFO (RPG Forums Online). It had a healthy member base but there were seriously NEVER any posts. I tried starting one and joining some and it just remained dead.

Ace Combat-esque Game, Fighter Pilots + Plot and hi-tech shenanigans.

Of course I'm still in.

Yeah, I have to agree that it did used to seem a lot busier and that people used to post more. Maybe when things went south, a lot of people just didn't bother coming back. Also, I think because a lot of people lost their games and all the archived materials, it put people off, maybe? Who knows.

I wasn't on the Old Guild for too long (joined in September-ish) but yeah, it always seemed way more active. I was in a few RPs and had trouble keeping up. I'd imagine losing everything we had made made people lose interest, and plus I bet a lot of them just assumed the site was gone for good and haven't checked to see if it had gotten resurrected. I'd like a link if you make one, please.
