@DP: If you do end up wanting to buy a 3DS (regular or XL), I highly recommended checking out the nintendo's official webstore for refurbished consoles. The prices are awesome, and the reviews for it are great. Most people just end up with one or two 'cosmetic damage' (some scratches at the corners and such). I bought mine from there, and I seriously haven't found a single flaw with it. Got a friend to check for damages as well in case I was being optimistic or something, and he agreed it looked completely new. NINTENTALK TIME

I have a power cord being shipped from Amazon (which I'm now discovering is the greatest invention in the history of the universe) for my DS because I lost mine, and I really can't wait for it to arrive so I can start playing Pokemon Platinum again. Fresh save file. Starting from scratch. I'm incredibly excited.

I also nearly bought a 3DS XL, DSi XL, and Game Boy Advance SP a couple weeks ago. I have the money. I just...urgh. I can't decide. The 3DS XL is what I really want, but it's at the upper end of my price range and I don't know if it's worth it. I played one in a store (a Yoshi game) and thought it was really slick, but I'm still not sure. My DS needs replacing regardless as it's one of the old phat ones that's uncomfortable...not to mention half of the hinge has exposed wiring and is held together with duct tape. I mean...it's well worth it because even though those issues were there when I got it, I got it for free, and it's provided countless hours of entertainment. But I need an upgrade. The DSi XL is actually nice and cheap, as is the GBA SP. I could buy both and be happy, but...........3DS. I wanna play Pokemon X/Y, Super Smash Bros. and Super Mario 3D Land so badly.

Speaking of those games...Super Mario 3D World and Super Smash Bros. are making me want a Wii U really badly as well. Nintendo seriously has what I want down to a science. I really want a standard Wii, too, since they're cheaper and I could upgrade my DP Apartment Video Game Friend Chill Session equipment from only Super Smash Bros. 64 (nobody's interested in playing any of my PS2 or PS3 games, which is fair because they're not party-oriented) to Super Smash Bros. Brawl, a game I adore.

But, because I'm a college student and most of my money is most likely going to go to brass instruments, I probably won't end up with any of those for a while.

My final thoughts on the subject:

It feels particularly ironic considering the subject matter that when I tried consoling NK it didn't change his course of action and he said nothing of my attempts to help, but when Rose did (admittedly more eloquently than I) thanks were said, honors were felt, and course of action was changed.

It goes both ways, you know.

That said, I have no hard feelings or bitterness. I'm used to it. You're still the best, NK, and as always, s'all good.

Re: Super Smash: I'd LOVE to have a 3DS and Wii U to play the new games. As it stands I play Smash N64 with my college friends in my apartment at least once a week, every week. Best party game ever.

I know exactly the feeling you describe, where you throw down a bunch of stuff and get ignored entirely, and someone else comes along and does one thing and everybody's all over it. Story of my life on pretty much every forum I've been a part of, honestly. There will be discussions where I'll read through all of the posts and spend an hour typing up a long, well-thought out response that I feel really adds a lot and solves issues, and it's completely ignored. Not a single reply or even acknowledgement that I posted for the rest of the discussion. And then someone else posts like two sentences that were basically a worse and less thought out version of what I said and everyone's like WOW AWESOME and I'm just like ...

So I know how you feel.

Remember when we stayed up until 7 am doing that Athalian Idol episode? I posted it on here. Not only did it get zero responses, a few weeks later when I mentioned it on the pad nobody knew it even existed. So it's not just you. I bet half the problem is that it's annoyingly easy to miss a spoiler in a post if you're skimming like many people here do, so I bet a lot of your art people don't even know is there, and it's less of a case of them ignoring it/not caring/whatever.

I think I can speak for all of us though that we all appreciate what you have done for the roleplay. The extra stuff and lore and obviously characters and plot arcs have been invaluable to the progress and sustainment of the Athalia universe, drawings included. It makes it feel more complete, and other than Rose (since she created it) I don't think anyone's more valuable to Athalia than you are. I just made some websites.

I think my works' values have diminished.

I just...am really terrible at commenting on things. 'Cause I suck and am busy. But I do love them. That last one you did of the dragon knight is ultra-killing. None of us here can draw like you can. I for one always look forward to whatever new stuff you come up with, since nobody else is really creating any Athalia art.

And it is pretty surprising that nobody else has commented, considering I'm pretty sure everyone else here also loves your art. -shrugs-

You'd get 100% less feedback only on deviantArt, honestly.

Also, I don't think anybody is going to feel inspired for Athalia stuff until Season Three starts. It's been languid for a long time now. I bet you'll get the spark again when that happens.
