Carmen - in the room that until recently was a party

While Carmen appeared to be conscious, sitting on the stage with her eyes open, her mind was totally vacant in almost a trance-like state, exhausted from what had just transpired. It took someone else interacting with her to snap her out of the trance. She looked up to see...a very elaborately dressed girl, a lion, and a clown that was also a cat. A cat clown. A clown cat. Carmen blinked. Sitting there for a few seconds processing it, she realized the ridiculousness of her being surprised at the scene in front of her after what had just transpired. The girl had asked her “Hey, need any help?” as she moved over to Carmen. Carmen, after processing all of this in her head, finally responded. "Yes...I think so. Thank you," she replied, managing a small but genuine smile. "I was only physically and mentally exhausted...not injured. Speaking of which...where is everyone?" She looked around to see a completely empty room other than the handful of people immediately around her. A completely empty room with a burning hole in the ground. Nice.

Carmen was about to speak again when the naked clown cat cat clown transformed into a small purple cat. She caught herself before reacting this time. "Pardon me, I've been rude," she said abruptly to the girl, referring to the fact that she had been sitting down. She began to stand up but fell back down. "Never mind...looks like I'll be waiting here a little longer," she said, still softly smiling. "I appreciate you staying to care for those of us that are still here. What's your name? I'm Carmen." She extended a hand out to shake the girl's hand. Carmen paused. "And - if you don't mind me asking - is that...your lion?" She figured she would wait to talk to the cat clown clown cat until he was done talking to said lion.

Carmen should be required to spin the totem every time she does the inception button. I feel like making all of her moves inception related now.

I'll do that and do an IC post once I get home/on a computer. Party on dudes!

Athalia = the artsy corner. Haikus, limericks, Minecraft, drawings and killer Paint skills? What next???

On another note, I should probably figure out how to make Carmen better suited for combat. Either she hits the Inception button like she did at the party and then passes out every time there's a fight, or she does something less draining and manages only to annoy her opponents. Hmm.

Ace Combat: The Global War

It seems there's only a handful of us who really care about this RP...everyone else has gone AWOL. It's finals for me too, but I still find time to post. I feel like we have to find a balance between waiting for people and leaving them behind, or else it'll die. I mean after all we won't really have a lot of character interaction until after the briefing when our characters can relax a bit.

Hey man, I never forced anyone to be incapacitated by it. :P Several characters are in fact being very adept at ignoring it. Plus, energy = eez gon.
