the North-Western portion is. the olive-ish color is steppe/tundra, the dark green is alpine.
Dryadicism completed, somewhat messily.
Heresies are fair game, yes. All of the religions have a large amount of customizability, so people should feel free to make their local versions their own. Even Justinianism can be adapted to local norms, since as long as you're serving the Big Guy in Sacrosanctum, local worship practices and folk beliefs are tolerated by the Clerisy. I'll try to get the Dryadicism info up ASAP. It will be similar in many ways to a religion of the Force from SW.
I didn't keep hosts from the last one. I'd rather folks stick to nations for now. On the other hand, there are huge refugee populations fleeing the plague lands, so you'd be welcome to have a nation with a large refugee population or several crusader factions or w/e.
Hmmm- yeah, I dont see why not, so long as I approve the new ones, no prob.
I'm willing to roll with the punches at this point. A large Justinian state to the East in the center would be ideal, but it's really up to you.
Yeah, I gave it a close read after I posted that, and I don't think Harnia would work at all. However, that just means it's back to the drawing board, and I always can go with something similar, possibly a watered-down human version of Freg and a troubled state, although I'm hesitant of that because I'd rather not bastardize all the work I did on Freg and Harnia (I mean, I even made a language) and go with something new.
Looking forward to seeing what you cook up, Gold.
I'm back! 'm interested, but wanna talk to Flagg about the possible reuse of Harnia and Freg?
hey gold! glad you're back! I've made some changes this time bc out of respect to Serp I didnt want to do a straight remake, so I'm lowering & grimdarking the fantasy level, if that makes sense. So beast races this time are only going be allowed as the orc/beastmen like beastkin, who are not friendly or noble but are mostly just twisted monsters bred for war. Likewise, the 'darkness' this time around is somewhat different. While it will build up eventually to become a lovecraftian horror show, for right now it is (for the most part) just a very serious plague known as the Dream Plague (more details to come on that score). So a straight import of Harnia won't work, but I'm happy to work with you to adapt your old ideas to the new setting! @Darkspleen Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
We all respond with our reactions. Usually the commander posts first to relay orders to the other captains, who respond afterwards. Once we all explain what we want to do, the GM responds and explains the effect our cations had, and any changes within the enemy formation/actions.
And this part is all done ICly?
That's a very interesting way of doing things, and it looks like it's a pretty successful RP. I would definitely be interested in doing something like that down the line. The battle mechanics arent clear to me though, but perhaps that's because I just glanced over the whole thing.
