Akira Aoi On one of the multitude of beds that seemed to have been in this room, a young girl groaned at all the racket, shifting beneath the sheets and pulling them over her head, trying to reclaim the pleasant dream that she had been having. From her back, to her side, to her front, just wanting her beauty rest. She had to look her best for the shoot after all. But at last, all the ruckus was too much for her. "Geez, keep it down," she groaned, practically yelled, that aimed at her useless mother. "I'm trying to sleep here." Honestly, that old hag was just useless. And Akira would be damned if she let her ruin her future. Then again, Iona was more likely to do that anyway. "Akira, I would suggest you wake up," Piriluk said to her, the emotionless LRIG's card resting upon the desk next to the bed. Fortunately, only Akira could hear her. "We are not in your house." Brown hair peeked out as Akira shifted, tired eyes glaring at her annoying LRIG. "What're you talking about, idiot," she spat. "Obviously this is...." She fell silent then as she was able to get a good look around, and confirm that she was indeed, not in her run down apartment complex of a home, or darkness filled room, but some other place. It was a giant hotel room of some kind. With other people there. "What the hell," she said as she sat up, now wide awake. "What kind of messed up game is this? If this is Iona's fault, then when I get out of here, I'm gonna make her regret it. She thinks she can get me out of the picture this way? Forget it." Meanwhile, Piriluk sat by and watched, unable to move, since she was in a trading card, and just letting her Selectors anger burn itself out. That it quickly did as Akira got a grasp on the situation. So, there were other people here. A weird assortment of people, but people nonetheless. And she knew how to act for people. Besides, she cared a lot about her appearance, so she had better take care of that first. So she rose, and made her way about after picking up Piriluk, first to the center of a room just to see if she could find any other clothes for herself. No such luck there, but she did find a tablet with her name on it. "Hm, wonder what this is about," she asked to no one in particular before activating it. Then the message appeared, and she read it, and a chill ran through her bones as she was left with a forced expression, resisting the urge to chuck the tablet at the nearest wall, or suitably hard object. "What..." she growled, disbelief obvious. "You have got to be kidding me." Who the hell would arrange a murder game, of all things? And who would go to all this effort? Admittedly, the same could be said about WIXOSS, but that wasn't her problem. This was. She needed time to collect her thoughts, and prepare. And there was one way to do that, while accomplishing her goal. So she found and moved along to the bathroom, calling out "Dibs," in a sing song voice, before stepping in and slamming the door shut to take a shower. If this was somebodies idea of a sick joke, or some twisted game that they were putting Akira in, then she wouldn't stand for it. Sure, she'd play, and she'd win. This was no different from WIXOSS, and whatever her purpose here, she would not lose. Of that, she was certain.
Nono, Restaurant District, Yggdrasil Nono was determined, strong, and with that determination fueling her it seemed almost inevitable that her attack would succeed, jetting her around the Katana Lady and delivering a hard kick that sent her tumbling across the catwalk, though not falling off. Just as well, Nono had the initiative back. "Give it up," she called, coming in for a landing and then rushing in to confront the woman once more as her opponent recovered. "Your men are all defeated. There's no way you can win. Surrender and I promise you won't be harmed." She had a feeling it wouldn't work, but best to try, right? And if she pushed it, then Nono would just hit her again if she had to. --- Cinder Fall - Research Facility Cinder sighed as she caught the voice of Charlotte telling her that she had found the machine, and luckily enough had not eaten it yet. She was more satisfied though as her attack hit, sending the mysterious girl scrambling for cover, and not escaping unharmed in the process. I'll be right there, she said back over the mental link as she faced down her foe with a confident smirk. She was confident then as the next shot came in, chuckling a bit at the ineffectual gesture, eyes flaring orange along with her dress, only to be caught by surprise as the bullet exploded on contact. It was successful in throwing her back, and she stumbled, heels not helping there. She was mostly unharmed, thanks to her Aura, but there was some ash from the explosive resting on her skin, giving it a black tinge where it fell. Now she was...less than amused, her emotions surging though she fought to keep them under control for the moment. "Seems the little thing has a bite after all," she noted to no one in particular before her eyes flared color once more, the same whine from before heard before a pillar of fire erupted where the girl was, or had been. That would be before she tossed a fireball, a small chuckle escaping. "Still, you're wasting your time. My companion already has what we came for. Getting rid of an annoying pest like you will only be a bonus," she taunted in a mocking voice as she advanced once more, not leaping to the offensive but slower, inexorable. Time to end this. --- Misaka 10032 - Client world 12262009-A (Macross) Misaka was....intrigued, to hear Marisa introduce herself, as a magician of all people. She certainly fit in with popular depictions of magicians, at least from Misaka's research, though the thievery was still not welcome. There was also no verifying that she was indeed the best witch, as she so put it. Slowly though, Kakine began to lower her to the ground, for which Misaka was grateful, but for now she was focused on her social interaction, recording everything for the Misaka Network to go over later. It was always thus with multiversal beings, so that all data could be examined thoroughly, for the benefit of Academy City, as well as their own development. "'Geographical records do not indicate a place known as Gensoyko existing in our universal plane of origin,' Misaka notes after careful review," Misaka said in the same monotone she always used, having briefly inquired across the Network to confirm that. "Census information does not contain a 'Kirisame Marisa' residing within Academy City or Japan. Multiversal origin can be confirmed." She tilted her head then. "'Are you a denizen of this reality,' Misaka asks with casual curiosity."
ALSO! GFS is highly advanced in technology and can easily outclass SE soldiers with Phazon enhancements for instance. So stealth would be interesting here.
How do Phazon-enhanced soldiers work, anyways? Doesn't Phazon sort of horribly mutate all it touches into horrible mindless deathmachines assuming it doesn't kill them outright?
I assume he's referring to the PED, which serves as, like, a super power source for Federation armor suits and makes them way better. At least in Metroid prime 3
Savato, naturally nitpickey criticism because I'm a jerk like that. But I thought all the Phazon was rendered inert at the end of Metroid Prime 3 when Phaaze blew up. EDIT: Wait, I'm an idiot who can't read. Ignore

Our friend, inspiration and co-worker Monty Oum passed away yesterday afternoon at 4:34 PM surrounded by people who loved him very much. Ten days ago Monty suffered a severe allergic reaction during a simple medical procedure that left him in a coma. Although he fought bravely, his body was not able to recover. During his time in the hospital he was well cared for and never in pain at any time. Monty is survived by his wife Sheena, his father Mony, his brothers Woody, Sey, Chivy and Neat, and his sisters Thea and Theary, as well as a countless number of fans and friends. We were so proud to be a part of his life and we will miss him greatly. Your generosity during the hours after the public statement on Friday will help his family deal with the costs of his care and his passing. You made an incredible difference during a difficult time and we cannot thank you enough. As for honoring Monty, we will do that in our own way. In lieu of flowers or gifts, we ask that you simply do something creative. Use your imagination to make the world a better place in any way that you can. If you know Monty like we do, then you know he would certainly be doing that if he were able to. Monty was 33 years old. We love you, Monty.
[@Rooster Teeth]
Official confirmation. RIP Monty. May you never be forgotten.

Indeed they do. Though it certain has its less than pleasant spots. Anyway, in shameless self promotion, I present the Madoka Magica-RWBY fusion fic I mentioned before, Shattered Mirrors. Currently only on chapter 3, in the Initiation. It's been adhering to canon thus far for the most part, but I'd like to think there are enough changes to keep it interesting, and I have interesting plans going forward.
Gilgamesh will found the greatest faction. Team Excalibur. All members must acknowledge Gil as the greatest. And hand in any Excaliburs they find. Every Tuesday is Excalibur Appreciation Day.
And here I thought you meant Team Excalibur
Ah. My bad. I'll change that next time.

So, for those not in the know, Monty is in the hospital in critical care (Last I heard anyway). So here's thoughts and prayers for his swift recovery.
I had a lot of free time on my hands, so I fleshed out the platoon of expendable Shadow Eternity mooks attacking the Neo-Umbrella site. Don't know why I did it, it was just on a whim.
I note none of them were about to retire after this mission, so they don't hit all the Redshirt traits :p
