Part of Colt's specialty had been making weapons, as well as other devices, and as Archer he had been lucky enough to have that translate over once he had been summoned as a Servant. He just needed to check and see how science had advanced, what things had been learned since his time, so that he could best plan out a strategy. With her to back him up, they could plan a lot of nasty surprised for their opponents, beyond what was usually in an Archers arsenal.

He snagged the key card out of midair when it was tossed to him, giving it a look over and noting that it had her picture on it. While he could have simply phased into the literature section, this might be easier, simply so he could interact with the books without worry of someone trying to stop him. Though if anyone actually looked at the card he was screwed. But he could bluff his way out, he was confident.

"Got it," he replied before taking the piece of paper. Now that would be incredibly useful, given the wealth of information on the internet. Doubtlessly he could find some useful stuff there. Putting that in his pocket, he took a step forward, attention on Louise. "Alright, If you get in danger, call me." He didn't expect she would, but better safe than sorry in a situation like this.
Meanwhile, cour 2 of F/SN [UBW] has begun. Yay.

Not in the least, but hey at the very least you've got the Madokaverse and the SnKverse in play?

The Madokaverse isn't very fun without magical girls, which to my understanding was just rendered pointless by the complete removal of Witches. I think.
Well, I can't imagine the Incubators are happy, given that the universe was essentially doomed to be inexorably destroyed by Entropy.
Y'know, I wonder how long it will take for Louise to realize that Archer can walk through walls
Chemistry Department, Rooftop
Morning

The sun hung in the sky as morning arrived, heralding Archer's first day upon Earth in this new life of his. It was definitely a change from his old one, and he was left to wonder what the day would hold. Certainly he could not have predicted being perched upon a rooftop, his keen vision scanning the area and the city beyond, recording where everything was why also looking for any Servants that might be around. He wasn't the best at that, but he would try.

At least Louise, his Master, had recovered from the shock she had been dealt last night, and was now all business. Energetic and cheerful, but there was nothing wrong with that. Certainly he could appreciate the good mood, and it was her who had suggested coming up here, both for the view and for the privacy.

He listened quietly as she outlined what she thought they should do, before giving his own opinion. "Seems reasonable," he agreed with a nod. "Especially Caster and the other knight classes." Caster was the biggest problem, since the nature of his summoning made his magic resistance basically nonexistent beyond that which was provided by the Grail itself. And the other knight classes, Saber and Lancer, were always a worry in a Grail War.

A hum of thought then, before he looked over at Louise, expression thoughtful. "Well, I haven't had the opportunity to catch up on recent science and such in this world, so it might take a bit before I can come up with some modern devices to help. But I would say things to make bombs, and gasses, if we can get them." He might use guns, but he'd bet that some Ancient Hero wouldn't expect gas. And otherwise, it could be of use against a Master as well, which would do what they wanted just as well.
Nono, Restaurant District, Yggdrasil

Though the irritation that Nono had expected Saber to display towards her did not manifest, Nono still felt bad for the implication she had made, as well as the current state of affairs. Yes, it was amusing to watch Onee-sama give herself such a serious stare, like she was deep in contemplation, but the gynoid couldn't help but regret making her think that there might be something wrong.

So she took a few moments to fully appreciate the humor of the situation, before turning to the problem as well, head tilted upwards with a finger tapping her chin. She did that for a few moments, brain racing through simulations and calculations, before she spoke to Saber, adding her opinion.

"Well, maybe it's because you only use the food you need to keep at your greatest physical capability, and the rest is converted into that Prana stuff." She'd heard Saber talk about it before, and from what she understood it was some special fuel or soul energy or something. She wouldn't claim to fully understand how the mechanics of the world her Onee-sama came from worked yet.

A bright smile then, as she decided that this was, indeed, the correct answer. "Like how I break down the food I eat into energy." Though it was a trifling amount compared to the reactor she had, but there was no need to mention that, and she watched with expressed confidence to see how Saber would react.

Misaka 10032 - Client World Macross

Standing upon the side of the entry lane, Misaka looked from the large robot over to Kakine as he caught up to them, and then to Marisa, who had produced some sort of device from her hat. What it did she couldn't say, but given the accompanying statement it seemed reasonable to assume that it was possible some sort of explosive device, or perhaps a hacking tool. And while the latter would be useful, the former would only serve to draw unwanted attention to themselves.

"'Kakine is correct,' Misaka informs her companions as she examines the structure. 'The presence of maintenance hatches and alternative entrances is quite prevalent aboard the destination. Analysis indicates it had, at some point in time, space flight capabilities'," Misaka said without looking at either of them. With that in mind, they wouldn't have to walk all the way around it; they just had to find an unguarded maintenance hatch.

With that in mind, she hopped off the path that they were currently on and began walking to the side, scanning the path ahead for an easily reachable hatch. For the moment she hadn't alerted security, but they would most likely have to move fast before someone noticed her presence where she wasn't supposed to be.

Cinder Fall, Shadow Eternity HQ

Cinder had hardly expected that she was the first to ask, since it would have been ridiculous for such an organization to form without someone asking why they were doing this, and she listened silently to the explanation as she followed the Leader in her movements, also noting the haze that seemed to emanate from her in the light. That in itself was strange, and she wondered what the cause of it might be. Certainly it bore no resemblances to her own carefully hidden state.

"I see," she replied, not moving herself as her gaze followed Leader. "I certainly thank you for the opportunity. Things would be a lot more difficult otherwise." They all had their goals, Leader hers, Cinder with her desire to control, and the others with their own vendettas. And this organization helped to achieve that.

A light smirk spread to the corners of her lips as she took a step forward, heels clicking on the floor. "Well, if you need me to do anything to further this plan of yours, let me know." It would provide her something to do while she searched for the next part of her plan, and it might offer some insight into what their glorious Leader was planning herself.
Eponine certainly had set herself up for a difficult task, with no leads to go on besides those she had already reported to Maria. There were methods she could follow if she wanted, such as staking out Witches Barriers and waiting for a magical girl to arrive, but that would be time consuming, and there was no guarantee that the person she was looking for would ever show up at all.

But that would have to wait for a moment as her phone rang, caller id revealing who it was. It would be Adrian, one of the higher ranking people in the militia she had created to help her fight Witches. It was a group that undeniably took losses, but he had been one of the better ones at surviving it all, and if he was calling, then it had to be important.

That was revealed soon enough to her, once she had answered the phone. "Hey boss, remember that effigy thing with the grief seed people've been talking about? Well, some rogue magical girl decided to bust through one of the checkpoints into the city a little while ago. Thought you might want to know."

The Shadow Compact were not the easiest group to find, as Chloe would be able to attest to as she made her way through Aurora. They worked underground, were deeply suspicious of magical girls or collaborators, and took precautions accordingly. Then again, as someone who had managed to work herself into a partnership with that organization, she would know as much, and have planned accordingly to deal with it, especially when moving on to a new area.

Her knowledge would guide her along in her search for Compact assistance, directing her away from downtown and towards the rougher areas, the places that had missed out on the economic development present, and were home to crime, poverty, and dirty dealings. The places that one would usually find the Mafia, and where government control was weakest.

That wasn't to say that they Compact didn't operate in nicer parts of Aurora, because they did, but it would be easier to find a safe house in one of the less important (from the perspective of the government) neighborhoods. But for someone like her, ferreting out a safehouse shouldn't be that hard.
<Snipped quote by Flamelord>

I didn't think about that. She probably does. Since Chloe ducked behind a back alley, I was wondering if the buildings outside the gate were inhabited or not.

You can live outside the gates, it's not exactly the place you want to live though, since the bounds between fiefs/administrative zones tends to be kind of a lawless area where fights between opposing magocracies can take place as they vie for territory. Or something lime that
Still not entirely a fan of this part of the set up, just saying.

I suppose I'll have Archer off brushing up on the history of industry, science, and guns while his Master is at school. She's got a Command Seal if she needs him.
