i hate my master's orders.... "go keep yourself entertained away from here for a couple of hours" meanwhile everyone is at the school.

Well, it's not like they used a Command Seal, so she can ignore him. And besides, she can just go invisible.
Can Incubators actually be hungry? They don't seem to have a normal digestive system if PMMM is anything to go by, instead having a black void where the grief seeds get thrown into.

Headcanon says that Incubators convert the food directly into energy. Anyway, there is another reason.

Kind of weird that Kyubey outright rejects the treat, since he seemed to have no problem taking them in PMMM.

Maybe he wasn't hungry
Stern, I'd like to give @Krauxis the chance to post before advancing your manhunt, if it's not a problem.
Kyubey shook his head, ringed ears somehow defying gravity and momentum to move without swaying. I have no need of material sustenance, unlike your species, he replied from his bookshelf. Doubtlessly she had expected such an answer though so it didn't really matter in the end.

If he seemed annoyed by her mimicry, Kyubey didn't show it as he provided a following answer. You would consider it as such.He paused, padding over to the end of the bookshelf before. Someone is toying with powers they don't understand, putting the entire system as it stands in jeopardy. Naturally, allowing it to proceed would not be in your best interest. If it was a concern for Kyubey, then it would probably be an issue for her as well. Assuming that he was being completely frank anyway.
Well, it wasn't a guy, but Thomas was grateful to hear that this wasn't entirely a wild goose chase, and that one of their mysterious foes had been here after all. Now it was just a matter of finding the Sign in here, and he kept up a more or less happy attitude for the girl as she offered her assistance. Though, the fact that this person was apparently looking for Keybladers was a bit worrying. They would just have to hope that they could handle it.

"Thanks, it'd be a big help," he replied with a nod. She knew her way around this place better than him, so it would be more efficient to bring her along. Even if it was a slight blow to his ego and appearance as 'the hero'.
a bump, and stuff like that. Though the game ha begun, there's plenty of room for people to jump in, and we'd be glad to provide any help as needed. More people are always welcome.

Morning
Archer

His Master left behind to go about whatever her affairs might be, Archer made his way down from the room in his material form. He would admit that he found himself wondering, and a bit worried as to what she might be doing. He was her Servant after all, and while he was willing to let her own thing, it was better for them to stick together. It wasn't as if he could tell anyone. Then again, he would have appreciated the confidentiality in his own life, so he left the matter be.

The school was definitely different than those he had been in in his own life, the universities and colleges he had visited in the USA. He wore a light grin as he made his way along, an appearance for the people he passed. At the same time he was on the watch, just in case he was unfortunate enough to stumble across some other Servant. Unless it was a particularly strong one, like Caster, he wouldn't pick up on it until it was too late, so better to be alert than not, wielding the cunning of a fox beneath a warm gaze.

It was a quick walk, courtesy of the map he had scanned earlier, to the literature section. Getting in had been simple with the key card, and it was simple now. It somewhat ruined the whole point of having such security measures in place if they didn't even bother to look at the card, didn't it. He wasn't even the same gender as who the card belonged to! Though it would have been awkward on the whole without him being in the system in the first place.

Inside, he began to browse the stacks, selecting one book after another from topics that looked interesting, and things he would need for the production of items in the Grail War. Eventually he had a small pile of varying sized books, and he carried them all to a corner that also happened to give him a good view of all approaches so he couldn't be snuck up upon. It was for safety, mostly.

"Now then, let's see what we've got," he said to himself with a chuckle as he picked up his first book and got to reading. Time to see what he could learn.
"Got it," Adrian confirmed with a nod. It wasn't exactly a surprise, though the fact that she apparently wanted to parley with this girl was. But he wasn't going to question a decision of hers. On tactical matters he would, but he didn't get paid enough to interject in the higher affairs of magical girls. If she said she wanted to talk, that was what he would do.

She was left to collect others for the hunt as Adrian went to fulfill her orders, those being two women and another man, with a varying assortment of weaponry Most of it was oriented around fighting Witches, but it would serve well enough against humans and magical girls as well. And they had been trained well in that regard to boot.

When he returned, he nodded in approval of her orders. "Alright boss," he replied, falling into line as they moved away. He had his own weapon ready, an assault rifle, and he glanced over at her as they walked. "So what's the plan?"

Kyubey padded over with her greeting, taking up a position on one of her bookshelves as he watched her, tail flicking all the while. What sorts of plots and schemes the Incubator might be hatching were hard to say, for while the group helped those magical girls who ruled, it was also well known that they had their own agenda, and would work for their self interest at the same time.

Nothing incredibly urgent by your standards, Kyubey responded in a happy tone. I merely wished to check on your status and see how you were doing. After all, each magical girl is important. Important to the grand scheme of saving the universe from entropy, a goal so far off that no one here could care about it when faced with the realities and necessities of power. And even moreso when one knew the truth of the system.

He tilted his head as he dropped the other shoe. I'm also curious to see how you plan to ride out the oncoming storm. Of course Kyubey would have one than more motive to his visit, a tantalizing bit of information that she could pursue at her leisure.
<Snipped quote by Flamelord>

You know, the fact that she hasn't realized is all that is saving him from becoming her partner in crime. Once she knows your life as a dignified Servant is over! Over I tell you!
