Cinder Fall, Museum, Client World [???]

Cinder watched with some annoyance as another man arrived to support Blake, with one of the stranger weapons that she had ever seen. Still, it would not be enough to stop her, even with her current wounds. He obviously had no idea who he was dealing with as she shifted her swords into a combat stance and began to circle Blake in the meanwhile.

The sounds of battle continued behind her, but that was none of her concern. She was focused on the fight ahead, with a familiar, if altered, foe. If Kiba couldn't handle himself then he deserved what he got. No more, no less. For now, she was going to get rid of a nuisance.

"Yes, stay out of this," she added as Blake told the man to let her take the lead. It was a personal fight, and she would not bode interference. In turn, she flicked with her blades and the Beowolves responded, charging forward much like they had against Sindibad, past Blake, to attack the new arrival. That should keep him occupied and let the two fight in peace.

The shadow clone trick was one she had seen before, but telling the difference always proved to be annoyingly elusive. So she reacted to both, blades raised for blocks on both sides of her until the fake vanished, while she ducked at the same time. This would be followed with an upwards kick aimed at the real Blake's arm, to try and remove one of her weapons from the current contest. It was weaker than it would have been otherwise, since she had...persisting issues, to deal with.

Still, it was a start, and she was already looking forward to this.
And posted. I realised part-way through that this fight might have been a bit more interesting if I'd decided to play Yang. She's much more inclined to engage in banter than Blake is :P

Ah well, not much we can do about it now. It won't stop Cinder from taunting Blake about how this one isn't as strong as the version from her universe ;)
Nono, Council Tower, Yggdrasil

Nono followed along happily as they all departed the elevator and headed for the council room. She trusted that this was important, and was more than ready to see what was up as she walked with the group into the chamber so they could begin the meeting.

She took up a position besides Saber as she came to a stop, looking over those council members here with a smile. It was impossible to intimidate the robot, especially based on power or strength, and yet she still respected what these people had done in their time, to earn their positions here. Really she might have qualified for the council herself, but she had no desire to be on it, when she could be out protecting humanity.

"Hello Queen Isabella," the gynoid replied with a wave and a salute after the vampire had introduced herself. Or maybe she would prefer Queen Nox? Nono didn't want to offend her. It was sadly a deficiency of her programming, requiring her to invent how to treat things that weren't human or space monster. Someone like Onee-sama made it easy, but vampires were a bit more difficult. But if she needed help then that made things easier for her.

She glanced over at Saber as she spoke, giving a light chuckle in turn. Saber could be very literal sometimes. "Sorry," she said as she bounced on her feet. "Onee-sama is always serious when she's on the job." It was one of the things that Nono admired about her, a holdover from her time with the Fraternity.

She looked over then as two other agents arrived, quickly adjusting given the fact that the summons would have obviously gone to more than the three of them. "Oh, hello Ms. Takamachi, Geo," she added happily as they approached, before looking back to the Queen requesting their assistance in...some matter. "Well, I'd be more than glad to help out with whatever it is." She would make no promises on things getting broken, but that was just part of the territory when it came to this sort of thing.

That said, she fixed her attention to see what the Queen would say.

Misaka 10,032, Client World Macross

Misaka glanced back to find Marisa and Kakine rapidly joining her, the former having managed to figure out how to activate the flight systems on her armor, while the latter was moving along on wings of dark matter. She altered her own flight path to allow the other two to catch up, falling into formation as she tested out the capabilities of the suit she now wore while they were in the air. It was definitely not bad, in comparison to what Academy City had.

She looked over at Kakine as he asked about how they were doing, and whether the portal had finished with it's maintenance yet. She didn't respond immediately, instead activating the multiversal connections necessary to inquire that of the Misaka Network. There was a slight delay due to the distances involved between them all, the multiversal barrier and other things, but she soon had the answer that she needed.

"Yes," she replied with a nod of her helmet. "'The portal is finished, and is awaiting a marker beacon for connection,' Misaka says as she enjoys the feel of wind rushing past." She was enjoying it, but she knew that they couldn't delay. It would be better to make their escape while they still could, since it looked like there was activity from where they had came, which did not bode well for their theft.

Of course, there was also the problem of Marisa coming with them, which might not be appreciated back home, but she trusted Kakine to handle it. For now, she was preparing to deploy the beacon that would tell the scientists back home where to target the portal.

Nono is also an idiot that happens to be a super robot.

To be fair, most of that took place when she had high grade amnesia of the fact that she was anything but a happy clutz with a penchant for breaking things in half. Getting her robot memories back helped.

Simple altruism.

And this is why Nono is going to do it, like she does everything else. No one requires her to dress in a maid outfit and do the laundry, she just likes helping out any way she can.
Waiting on Minder for now.
I suppose if you need to do more than poke a hole through something. :P

Just avoid beam locks. The backlash would be massive.
The White Devil has landed.

Starlight Breaker + Buster Beam. Now there's some guaranteed destruction.
Still accepting?

Yup, definitely. So if you want to join, we'd love to have you.
Saten Ruiko always believes the most logical and realistic of rumors.

It would have been ridiculous if the universe didn't go out of it's way to prove that she was right :p
