Ba'al and Teal'c, Caracas, Venezuela

At the sound of someone's voice, Teal'c spun around as Ba'al nonchalantly turned, to see the strangely dressed woman there. Of course, Teal'c was the first to react to the threat, as presented to them. "Jaffa, kree!"

All Jaffa in earshot would react quickly, going for staff weapons and moving to confront the intruder as they set up a defensive perimeter. It would be easy to hear them powering up as they faced down Biollante, ringing her and standing on command, even as Teal'c was given a staff weapon of his own.

But Ba'al didn't react to that. He was a God after all, so what did he have to fear? "And who might you be," he asked calmly, confident in his superiority. He wuld figure how she had gotten here, but one thing at a time as he waited on her answer.

Ruiko Saten

Ruiko's throw had been spot on, as far as she was concerned. She had honed her throwing skills, and especially once she had gotten her powers, for the reasons just seen. It was good enough that she could even hold her own against Mikoto, or so she liked to think. Certainly it had been less than a one sided fight at Kiyama's lab.

But she was hardly expecting Saber to go down so easily, especially from a hit to the gut from a rock. With a frown she thumbed off the Level Upper, since it seemed that it wouldn't be needed after all. "Well that was a waste," she grumbled to herself, bfore looking to the Ethereal. "So now what?" She couldn't prove herself like this.
@Flamelord Want to post something before Ethereal snarks the shit out of Saber or are you busy?

Sure, I'll get something up relatively soon.
And meanwhile, Ruiko knocked out Saber with one air propelled rock as a body shot. :p
Also, new character introduced!

So I'm guessing Biollante doesn't have the spirit of Erika inside her?
Man, I really need to finish Neptunia. I just got distracted by other stuff. Like Fire Emblem, and the grinding that I need to do to move on in Neptunia which crushed my soul.
Ahsoka Tano, Acadia-2

For a moment it felt like she was falling, then Ahsoka was spat out in a field along with everyone else that had come through. Fortunately she landed in a roll and not on her butt, saving her from some extra injury in that regard. Looking around, she could see that this stretched on for quite a while, before terminating in other terrain. She would admit, it was a very nice planet.

But of most note was the city, and her eyes widened slightly as she took a step forward towards it. It seemed to be maintained, to have inhabitants. Perhaps they could help her get back to her galaxy, or something like that. It was worth a shot, right? Her companions seemed to agree, which she could share. "It does look nice, if not as big as Coruscant."

Meanwhile, Lapis seemed to be alive, and more people had appeared as well, one of whom was familiar to one of their group. That was nice, she supposed, though there was still no sign of Assaj. Instead, she would go to talk to the energetic girl approaching them from the city. "I don't now," she admitted with a shrug. "But a lot of strange things have been happening to day, so I guess it's the same as everything else." Certainly she hadn't expected to meet a Sith today.

Oh, right, introduction. "My name's Ahsoka Tano. A pleasure to meet you."

Ruiko Saten

"Yeah," Ruiko replied with a nod as the Ethereal questioned her about her own beliefs and her confidence in her ability to harm Mikoto. Why not? After all, she had hurt her before, and she could do so again. "She's strong, but she's still flesh and blood like the rest of us. And if she is, then she can be hurt."

On the other hand though, the promises that were being made, they were alluring. With this things help...could she return to her world, maybe even help Kiyama defeat Crowley and bring freedom and equality to Academy City. She could prove her friends wrong, do the things that needed to be done, and then she would make them see that, in the end, she had been right all along.

Of course, she had no reason to trust the alien, even as he pushed her and the other guy, Saber, into a fight. And Saber seemed to agree, rounding on the Ethereal. But while the alien had swayed her, Saber pushed her over the edge as he, in her mind, insulted her. And underestimated her and what she could do. Of course, had they met before this business all started he would have been right, and fighting would have been the furthest thing from her mind. Now, all bets were off.

So she ignored him as she got to work. Reaching into her pocket, she produced two earbuds and slipped them in, flicking on her MP3 player at the same time. A sigh escaped as she merely stood for a moment, letting the soothing and subliminal tones of the Level Upper wash over mind, altering synapses and shifting her brain chemistry through a complicated process that she had only bothered to let Kiyama try and explain once. It would make her stronger, and that was all that mattered.

At the same time she walked over a bit, collecting solid looking pieces of debris and rocks. With a decent collection, she touched the largest rock and primed her ability, tapping the back of it. Then she prepared and let it fly with a strong arm, activating Aero Hand in mid flight to give it a boost that would send it flying even faster, almost like a bullet from a gun, if a bullet was the size of a rock. "Don't underestimate me," she called on the heels of it, her declaration and battle cry. She wasn't weak, and she would not back down from a challenge.
@Flamelord Interested how she'll use her powers.

Now post. .w.

Can't. Performing in a concert. Afterwards.
Oh and how strong is her air stuff now?

I've tabbed it at about a Level 3, though it depends on how recently she's used the Level Upper. So she can create jets of air where she touches, with some ability to control when they go off and the power of it, but not as strong as the stunts a Level 5 could pull. It is possible that the Level Upper could make her stronger though if she tries.

Is this alternate universe perhaps based on the visual novel?

I'm going to assume not, since I didn't think the early Scientific Railgun stuff was in the light novels. So, as far as I'm aware, a complete invention of my own.
@Flamelord I haven't seen much of the Railgun anime but from what I remember Ruiko's a pretty nice girl.

Here she seems pretty pissed off and threatening. What happened? o;

An alternate universe happened ;)

Specifically, this Ruiko is from the culmination of my own home brewed version of the Level Upper arc, intended to make it...better/have an actual point. Because power is a hell of a drug, especially for the powerless, the road to hell is paved with good intentions, those who have gotten power where they had none previously are unlikely to willingly give it up, particularly because someone who could basically get away with murder if it weren't for her sense of morality wants it, and because once you're drawn into the Dark Side of Academy City, there's no escape.

Normally yes, she is a pretty nice girl. But you're not catching her when she's 'normal'.

Oh, also being dumped into the multiverse and having the first person she meets be this very imposing/threatening alien doesn't help :p
Would be funny if Ruiko sucker punches Saber as he tries to be all moral here.
