>That moment when you realize that you can only do fandom RPs because you're bad at original characters. This is what I get for never playing DnD

Series From: RWBY
Name: Roman Torchwick
Gender/Sex: Male
Species: Human
Personality: Roman Torchwick cuts a line between a formal gentleman and a ruthless criminal. He tends to act with charm and speaks calmly, taking events in stride for the most part. This tends most to persist around people he doesn't know, or doesn't yet actively dislike in some fashion.

On the other hand he is a ruthless man, exhibiting extreme hostility towards the people he dislikes and a willingness to use lethal force. He also has no respect for the Faunus in general, and often takes to mocking and insulting his enemies, in fights as well as outside of them.

Powers/Abilities:
-Aura - Like most people on Remnant, Roman has access to Aura, which is the outwards manifestation of a persons soul. It serves as a protective shield, keeping the body from being physically harmed, though they can still feel pain. Aura will be depleted after blows and can eventually run out, though it can regenerate with time.

-Master Criminal - As a master thief, Roman is skilled in all the arts of thievery and deceit, whether it be picking pockets, lockpicking, stealing stuff, and the like.

-Combat skills - Roman is quite adept in the use of melee and ranged weapons, managing to hold his own while being outnumbered, against students of a school specifically geared towards creating warriors. Not the best, to be sure, but he knows what he's doing. He's also good at using Dust to augment his fighting.

-Piloting - Roman has shown a proficiency in piloting airships and trains, as well as a mech.

-Planning - As the leader of a significant criminal enterprise, Roman is quite adept in planning heists and other criminal endeavors, as well as planning escapes should he need them.

Weapon(s):
-Medolic Cudgel - Roman's signature weapon, Melodic Cudgel is a cane. It's also a gun that fires Dust shells from the bottom, with the actual bottom flipping up to function as a sight for the weapon. There's also a grappling hook in the handle. It's pretty swag.

-Dust Crystals - Coming in several variations, Dust is a special mineral on Remnant that contains the essence of the elements. Fire, Ice, Wind, etc, etc. They can alter the properties of Semblances, and increase the effectiveness of weapons.

The closest we have to a Roman Torchwick theme right now:
@Flamelord After Cinder we get Roman.

Charlotte x Cinder was a half success.

Is it worth mentioning that Cinder was going to try and murder Charlotte when she was no longer of use, and that her master plan involved wiping out the rest of the multiverse in order to purge it of Witches? :V
@Flamelord Oh, wow. I know you'll play him very well..

It's funny, because I'm actually running a prequel type thing as Roman on another site. It's pretty fun.
@Flamelord I'll sic Ruby on your ass. :3

Oh look, it's the kid with the scythe, what ever am I going to do? *Mock despair*
We need some class in this joint.

Won't that be frowned upon? A grown man just talking to random students for no reason...

'Grown man". He's still college age you know. :p
Hm, well, unless the GMs actually want Alex to find something in the archives, I suppose I would be open to interacting with any students that might be around.
Close, she was so close. Genevieve's heart pounded, muscles starting to burn with each deep breath as she ran for the salvation that waited for her. She was, of course, aware of the other girls, but for the moment she had to focus on herself, then she could worry about everyone else. Not normally a decision that she would make, but her fear was overwhelming her better nature, and it was just common sense as well. No one could blame her for that, right?

Then suddenly the girl was gone, sending a bolt of terror through Genevieve. Was she leaving? After warning them and promising them salvation, was she going to abandon them now? It seemed too cruel to be true, and indeed it wasn't. Her vision was drawn away to the side, to see the girl dispatching the shadows with ease, first the ones to the side, then her own. It earned a sigh of relief, but she knew that she couldn't stop. Not now, when they might still be in danger. Who knew where else the shadows were lurking in this twisted place.

So she ran on, headed towards safety as best she could. But while she was safe, others weren't, and it wasn't hard to hear the sounds, and see the carnage as the girl near her was bit into, even though she was saved by the girl who moved like lightning. The creature remained, and the girl yelled back to them, words which she seized upon and held to like gospel for now. In this situation, she had no reason to ignore what she was saying, and so she didn't.

"Are you alright?!?" she called, rushing over to the injured girl, and helping her to her feet on the side of her body that was uninjured. "Here, let me help you." With that said she would do her best to help her forward, towards the direction that she assumed was the west. Now she could only pray that they could get out in time.
Alex sighed to himself as he relaxed in his little hideaway, an upper loft that stood in a disused belltower near the Academy. This was his place, a little spot to hide away, to think, to plan, which he had discovered a couple weeks into exploration around the area after he had arrived at the Academy. Now he had made it a place for himself, and while he expected it wasn't that much of a secret, it didn't hurt either, at least from his perspective.

But now he really needed the time to think. His attempted heist had gone totally wrong, and it was only through quick employment of his tome as well as some of the stuff that he had nabbed before that he was able to escape, after lighting a room or two on fire. It was actually impressive, especially considering whom he had been up against, but you really had to be there to appreciate the sheer genius of it. But it wasn't exactly how he had imagined that it would go, and he had gotten basically nothing for it in the process, besides the bragging rights of sneaking in.

"Well now what do I do," he asked himself as he sat on the balcony, looking out over the city. There was always trying again, which was a viable option. But there was also this treasure hunt that had been announced, however it was supposed to work besides a generic 'go find stuff' sort of quest, which in all honesty seemed pretty boring without some idea of what to do or where to go.

Humming to himself, his chin rested on his hand as he looked down at the city below him. Those people, he wasn't like them. He'd seen the world, and he aspired to be more, greater. To make a name for himself and to write his own legend, so he could be talked about and remembered. And failed break in attempts didn't exactly help that effort. Sure, he had time, but that was a small comfort to his ambition.

At last he came to a decision, snapping his fingers before he rose to his feet. "Well, no point in sticking around here," he said to himself as his hands moved to rest in his pockets. He just needed to come up with a plan, that was all. Then he'd know what to do and could act upon his new plan.

Turning, he headed down the stairs and out of the small room that he had been in, en route for the Academy archives. His purpose there was twofold, either to find a map of the Citadel that he could use for his next attempt, which would make it that much easier to find something valuable. Otherwise, he might be able to find something that would help with the whole treasure hunt. Book diving wasn't his favorite thing, but he would bear with it. At the moment, he had only a few other options, and none of them pleasant.
I, er, forgot. >_> I'll work something out soonish, promise.
