Carina just wants to be a flying carefree existence. If you try to kill her then I will be obligated to drop you off of the tallest building in the city.
Isotta Nascimbeni

The scream tore through the air, shaking Isotta from whatever holy musing she might have been partaking in at the moment. The plea for assistance was desperate, drawing on old memories of that night in Prague, even if she couldn't remember the exact events that had occurred. Chasers could handle it, of course, like the person who rapidly departed to deal with the problem, but Isotta felt some obligation to do so as well if only out of similar situations.

"I will be back shortly," she said as she rose to her feet and moved for the door at a swift walk, which would develop into a sprint once she exited the Cafe. Black robes flowed around her as she moved, zeroing in on the location of the disturbance and tapping into her gifts at the same time. 'Lord, grant me divine speed to overtake the enemy" Muttered words heeded result as she sped up, though skeptics could argue whether her plea had been responsible. Results could not be argued though as the sky shifted to a red, heralding her entry to the domain of the Crimson Sky.

This place, she was no longer scared of this place. She had been trained, prepared, and now she made this her domain, rather than that of the beasts. Drawing near she caught sight of the source of the disturbance, some figure on the ground, a Chaser attacking, and a horde of what seemed to be four eyed wolves. As it stood though they did not seem to be particularly dangerous opponents on their own. She would just need to thin out their numbers first.

Reaching beneath her robes, she would emerge with several pages. A muttered word and burst of energy would shift them to long swords held in careful grips. She would draw closer and then toss them in snap throws, each blade aimed for a separate youkai. They would not know what hit them, as she moved to resolve this conflict in a swift and decisive manner.
Welp, given that Carina is currently strolling towards the "Witch", I guess I should figure out who I run into.
Personal arc, nothing concrete that I've thought up yet. Presumably something involving accepting responsibility or that just hiding/ignoring from your problems doesn't work. And I can't say the few ideas I do have, since that would be telling ;)
@Flamelord

Did Ruiko step into the Outliner or Palace portal?

She went into the Ouliner portal, sorry.
<Snipped quote by Flamelord>

B...but, but Dariya only wants hugs and kisses.

Sorry, Carina doesn't swing that way. Try again later :p
*Looks at posts of murder and fighting*

Carina wants no part of that. I mean, it's not like you have to watch out for the quiet ones who don't actively want responsibility anyway, and I have no ulterior motives in significant amounts of violence breaking out.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting. Amen.

The black haired woman finished muttering to herself, kissed her rosary, and proceeded down the street in Sonomachi City at a calm walk. It was hardly the first time that the robed woman had been in this place, and she was reaching the point of familiarity where she knew how to get around like the back of her hand. Of course her memory did help with that, the training that had been provided to her assisting in memorization and the like.

Still, this was a different place than where she had been before. Japan was a far cry from the streets of Europe, with their different dialects, their different cultures, and everything that made them unique. Nonetheless this place was special and she had grown into it, in order to combat and contain the Crimson Sky that hung here, much like it hung in Prague. That was her job, to serve as a liaison from the Church to the local Hunters Association, to contain the Youkai and make sure that none of the Chasers went rogue. It was not the easiest or most rewarding job, but it was one that she did without reservations.

Turning a corner, she crossed the street as she walked on in her own direction. At the moment she had nothing to do, nothing requiring her attention. It wasn't as if the church she had taken up residence at saw many visitors, given the religious makeup of the country. That was why it served as a nice cover, though it did not serve to keep her busy all the time.

At last she made up her mind, pulling out her cell phone and dialing a familiar number. It was time for her usual check in, which only happened a couple days in order to confirm that everything was happening on schedule, and with no imminent problems. She walked on, heels clicking against the sidewalk, as she waited for Aria, or someone who worked there, to pick up.
Carina Lykke

"Wow, there's so many people," Carina muttered to herself as she looked about the massive parade and all the people there to watch it. For the moment she had managed to separate from her family, but she was sure that they were around here somewhere. Honestly, with the crush of all the people lined along the streets it was doubtful that she would be able to find them without using her cell phone, but the isolation was nice. It certainly gave her less to distract her with as she rubbed the ring that was her Soul Gem.

Of course it probably should have been expected, but it was stunning nonetheless. Just another example of how different this place was compared to her native Denmark. They had their own share of celebrations, of course, but this was different compared to that. And, well, she'd never had so much on her mind before.

She had moved here recently, and had quickly begun trying to settle in. Gdańsk was a nice enough place, and she had made some friends in the school that she had ended up attending, including Julia Steinhart, a German girl with whom she bonded over their general dislike and procrastination over schoolwork, amongst other things. But today was a day off, courtesy of the national holiday that she was taking part in. Not that she minded in the slightest, since it would give her time to finish the homework that she needed to do.

Her thoughts were soon interrupted by a slight tremor, a strange sensation that she could feel within her soul itself. It was the presence of a Witch, one who had arisen to prey on the people out to celebrate the festival. "Hm, I should probably do something about that," she muttered to herself before shaking her head and returning her gem to ring form. Someone else would handle it, if there were any other magical girls nearby. Given the large concentration of people it was likely that another Witch would show up soon enough, and it wasn't as if she needed the Grief Seed right now.

Nonetheless she began to stroll in the general direction of the Witch. She might not fight it, but she could at least try and get a glimpse of the other girls in Gdańsk. And if they didn't show up then it would be for hers to take down. Either way, she supposed that it would work out for her.
Name: Isotta Nascimbeni

Title: Blade of the Dawn

Gender: Female

Age: 34

Height: 5'10"

Weight: 146 lb.

Appearance:

Personality: Isotta is a very aloof person, devoting herself fully to the church and the work that she does for it. This does not preclude her having friends, but they are of a secondary importance to her. Respects those who are not of the faith, though she tends to have some visible disdain for those who are not of the Church.

Short Bio: Born to an average family in Milan Italy, Isotta was raised as the eldest daughter of an upper class family, her father a businessman and her mother working as well. It fell to her to watch over her two siblings, which she did happily and as best she could while also distinguishing herself in school and making many friends. It was a peace that was not to last.

Her encounter with the Crimson Sky came during a family trip to Prague, the hub back in the Old World. She got lost and was separated from her family one night, during the course of which she was eventually dragged into the realm of the Crimson Sky. She managed to return but was....changed. Her personality had shifted somewhat, and her memories of what had actually happened were fuzzy.

The time after that, she entered into a funk, a lingering depression that seemed to go on as her entire worldview was shaken by what she had seen and experienced in the Crimson Sky. Therapists, psychologists, her parents did what they could to try and shake her out of it, so she would return to the daughter that she knew, but it was all for naught. In spite of their efforts, nothing seemed to work. This only changed when they were contacted by the Church, a Cardinal approaching them as a result of hearing of what had happened to Isotta, which many dismissed as crazy delusions. But he believed her. Let with no real choice, her parents agreed, and Isotta was taken into the custody of the Church.

In the custody of the Church she was taken to Rome. There she was trained, part of a special group that dealt particularly with the Crimson Sky, and the Youkai that entered the world which the Church had to deal with for the protection of the people. Her lethargy broke under the training and tutelage that was given to her, as she devoted herself to the job that she had been assigned. She rapidly advanced, becoming skilled at bringing to bear the holy power of the Lord as well as killing or otherwise dealing with the Youkai that threatened the world.

Eventually she graduated, a moment highlighted as she returned to Prague to hunt a Youkai terrorizing the citizens there. Afterwards she went on to full duty, hunting down demons and protecting the people of the world from the shadows. This eventually resulted in her being transferred to Japan, her experience with the Crimson Sky serving as a useful tool by which the Church could exert its influence over the supernatural. That is why she is here now, a liaison between the Church and the Hunters Association, to stop powerful Youkai, to protect civilians, and to deal with rogue Chaers should tat issue come up.

Powers:
Sword Generation: A peculiar trait of hers, Isotta has the ability to create blessed swords from pages of the Bible

Blessings: Through the power given to her by the Church, Isotta has the ability to call down the Grace of God. This can be used for healing herself and others, to enhance her physical abilities, to buff magical resistance, and to create physical attacks which can be used against enemies.

Exorcism: with the proper equipment and enough time, Isotta can create a bounded field around an area which is actively hostile to the existence of demons and unholy Youkai, weakening them and making them much more difficult to deal with so long as they remain inside it

Weapons: Isotta tends to use the swords that she creates as her weapons. They are short swords, light, yet tough due to their blessing. They can be thrown or simply used as a melee weapon ,and she is very skilled in their usage.

Equipment:
-Several vials of Holy Water
-An ivory rosary from the Papacy in Rome
-A vial of dirt from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem
-A Pocket Bible

Other: Anything not covered above.
