Well, I posted last so I can't really post again until someone else does. Sorry.
I'm here, done with college for the summer. I'd have posted but, well, I guess I was waiting on responses from other people. Sorry.
Waiting patiently for an answer from the trio, Katerina was more than a bit annoyed to find that they were basically ignoring her, as if they couldn't understand what she was saying at all. And here she had thought that she had found someone she could communicate with. it wasn't as if anyone else here had demonstrated the ability to talk Russian, even if they seemed like they could talk with each other. But nope, it seemed as though she was the unlucky one.

Of course, the girl in blue arriving tended to be something of a distraction, and Katerina watched with interest as she examined the returned girl. So was she....like her? Or something similar? At that moment it didn't seem unreasonable, that she could become something like that, a feeling in her bones. She knew she had changed, and was that part of it?

Weapons vanished as the girls argued, Katerina left to wait in annoyance and impatience for the answers she would never get. It was strange to see the discontent, but there was an element to it that suggested it wasn't mean spirited. She huffed at the pointed finger, as if she was being insulted. Seriously, the only reason she wouldn't behave was because they kept persistently ignoring her in favor of the others.

.....This was going to become a thing, wasn't it?

Suddenly one of the girls slammed her spear into the ground, opening up a strange hole that everyone quickly jumped inside. After all that had happened it didn't seem so odd, and Katerina wasted no time in joining them inside it. Yet almost immediately she regretted the decision, surrounded by an all consuming void. She could yell, yet no one could hear her. She could move, yet would get nowhere. And she was slow, like she was drugged up to have some teeth knocked out or something, as if time itself had slowed to a crawl.

At last she emerged, Katerina looking around in surprise. It was like she was in some folk tale or the ancient past, a castle in the distance, and a verdant green that was not typical to Russia. Though by now she was getting used to that fact. Indeed all the girls seemed like they were folk tale Princesses, dressed in white, red, black, (and she managed to keep from averting her gaze from Tryo) If it hadn't been everything that had taken place before, this would have been as unbelievable as the terror she had just been in.

Introductions began again, and as she stood near the collection of girls Katerina finally introduced herself, though she kept it succinct and only her name, since apparently no one could understand a thing she was saying anyways. "Katerina Nikolaev," she said before falling silent, letting everyone else introduce themselves.
While she might not express overly hostile enmity for the Hero Brigade, Mitsuki was nonetheless skeptical of the explanation provided. A Primordial Queen arriving here simply because of their conflict? No, that was unlikely. They had not affected significant amounts of the populace after all, and their numbers were not enough to be that much of a draw for something so powerful. No, she had the feeling there was something else going on.

She let none of that slip though, mentally deciding to investigate on her own later. "If you say so," she replied calmly, letting the matter drop. Instead she turned to Ryuko once more, the girl rejecting the notion that they could possibly be friends in spite of all that had just been said. She was a stubborn one, wasn't she? "I'm sorry you think that," she replied in turn. "But I feel that you may find yourself surprised, if you allow for the opportunity." She winked, then let it drop. The proof could come later.

There would not be much more time to discuss things as the announcement of a primordial attack was made, the groups splitting up in order to go fight them off wherever they showed up. That was concurrent with Angel arriving, whom Mitsuki waved at. The group split up, some girls headed off to the bridge, while the others headed off towards the station. Certainly they had enough girls here to handle two attacks at once, though whether it could be done without animosity and conflict amongst those girls there was in doubt.

"Well, I suppose I shall head downtown," she said with a smile, rising to her feet and twirling as she transformed into her magical girl attire. With that done she waved to the others, even as she moved for the door. "Until we meet again." With that she headed off. There was work to be done, and it would not wait for her.
Katerina didn't think of herself as an overly violent person. Oh sure, she knew how to defend herself, how to put bullies in their place, and she had been in a scuffle or two. But she didn't go out actively seeking fights or trying to enforce her will on others. She liked to think she was fairly live and let live, in that regard.

But this....this was just too easy. The shades had nothing on her, couldn't touch her, and it was all too simple to crush them, rip them apart, make sure they never threatened her ever again. And when one went down it was a simple task to race to the next and mete out her vengeance upon it as well. She was lost in a frenzy of anger, violence, hatred, fueled by the burning that had consumed her and enabled by the power that she now had.

With the last one gone she rose, looking around and spotting the group some distance away. She quickly determined that they weren't necessarily a threat though, and was willing to leave them alone. They seemed to all be getting along well, but it wasn't as if she had some reason to care about them. All she cared about was getting out of wherever this was, getting back to Nizhny, and figuring out what had happened to her.

Then she didn't have the chance, more shades, of all shapes and sizes, appearing before her. Yet she did not fear, not with the power coursing through her veins. Perhaps she was outmatched, but in that moment it seemed like she was invincible. "Fine, come at me then," she spat, fists clenched tight enough to let her nails dig into her palms, a twisted smile on her lips. Oh yes, she was definitely going to enjoy this.

But she had no chance to. Colored flashes of light appeared, spearing down from the heavens to strike the shades, to rend hem apart in bursts of power. Katerina came up short, looking on in confusion as the lights faded to reveal three girls, each of them gaudily dressed and each of them with a strange weapon.

At least they spoke Russian, unlike everyone else from before.

Arms folded across her chest, radiating anger left to simply simmer inside of her soul, Katerina frowned as she drew closer to the assembled group once more, acting as if she hadn't soloed that group of Shades from before. "I did," she replied matter of facly to the spoken question, looking the girls over. Was she grateful for them saving their lives? Perhaps. But there was also the suspicion that thy had had something to do with this in the first place, and distrust since they could have become involved earlier but had waited so long to do so.

Needless to say, she would be careful around the trio. "So where are we? What the hell were those things?" Now that they were here, Katerina was expecting answers.
Heh, the bumps are real.
It didn't take long for Alex to be joined by others, and eventually the twins as well. Thus far nothing had happened, and the creature had not done anything or moved at all. It seemed they were at something on an impasse, especially so long as they had no idea what that thing could do besides the mimicry that had brought them to it in the first place.

"Nope, not really," he admitted to the twins as they arrived, asking if there was a plan to deal with that thing. He was working on some ideas, but they were far from certain at the moment. They had to get across to that temple, sooner or later. He just wasn't the sort of person who did exploration all that often. He was much more comfortable with simple robbery, where there would be plans and all.

Fortunately he didn't have to propose an idea, as the twins did so themselves. "If you think you can handle it then I don't see why not," he admitted with a conciliatory shrug. There was no reason to refuse a first chance at getting at that temple, for good or for ill. For the moment he prepared to go, ready to head across and get to that temple. There wasn't much else to do at the moment, so he wouldn't waste time idling about.

One way or another, he was going to get there. Hopefully it would be worth the trouble.
I'm sensing some hostility towards Katerina, and I have no idea why. She's just horribly killing some monsters with her bare hands, there's nothing wrong with that is there? :V
Heheh, whoops. Hold on, editing in progress.

  • Name: Mitsuki Kitagawa
  • Age: 15
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance:
  • Personality: Mitsuki is one off those people who always has to be doing something with their hands. She enjoys building things, fixing things, and the satisfaction of simply making things. A relatively social person beyond that, she tends to not pay much attention to her appearance, due to the sorts of places that she spends most of her time. Not really the sort of person for social talk, she is more than glad to talk shop or about more technical things. An attentive student who nonetheless has a penchant for losing track of time while working. But if you want a loyal friend, she's the one to go to.
  • Skills: Metalworking, Maintenance and repair of complex mechanics devices, construction, crafting, melee combat, ranged combat,
  • Equipment:

  • Brief Backstory:
Is it the same story or is it the next seasons?

Next season. And the season after that. There's a fourth season currently in production, or so I've heard.

Also, working on a sheet. We'll see what I can come up with
