I am scared of what happens when Finch runs into guilt. Mostly because it will probably involve lots of explosives and people dying.
Alicia Hayden

While Penny got one side of the main space, Alicia handled the other side. "That would explain it I suppose," she concurred with the assumption that Alex would not have reacted so harshly had he not been in some kind of relationship with Lily. It was unfortunate but there wasn't much they could do about it when they had not known. She just hoped that he didn't hold it against them for too long. They had enough people angry at them for no reason as it was.

It seemed they did have some evidence at least, though the bed itself could merely be the sign of some homeless person bunking there rather than a monster girl. But as Alicia prodded the piles of junk something caught her eye, earning a frown. "Yeah, I've got some stone shavings over here, and they don't look like they're from concrete," she replied as she turned around and stepped over towards Penny.

She made one last sweep of the room before nodding to Penny. "I think we can safely say there's at last one monster girl here, perhaps a gargoyle or something like that. The only question is whether they're preying on innocent people, but I don't see any evidence of that here. We may have to stake out the building until thy get back to see for sure." Not her idea of a fun night, but there was no helping it she supposed.

Elsa Witter

Elsa was drawing near her destination, she was sure of it. The intensification of the pulsing in her soul gem at least meant that she was probably headed in the right direction. Otherwise she would not have been sure at all. But she was pretty sure that this was how it worked, from what Kyubey had told her.

Aside from that though, she was just enjoying herself. The ability to run along rooftops and leap between buildings was like something out of a superhero movie, and she was doing it with casual ease. If she could just do something like this as long as she was a magical girl, then she would be happy. The perks were definitely worth the deal that was made.

Yet out of the corner of her eye she noticed something nearby. It looked like something hanging from a building, and led her closer to see what exactly it was. The lessened distance revealed it to be a magical girl wrapped up in wires of some kind, and Elsa closed the gap as she came to rest on a nearby rooftop. "Having problems?" she asked as her spear came to her grip. She didn't plan to use it as a weapon, but she had to get the other girl down somehow.

Alicia carefully proceeded through the garage her eyes peeled for potential traps that might be sprung on intruders. She also was looking for that evidence that she had mentioned before, though at this point she could see visible dust. But they hadn't explored much of the building yet, so there was still time for them to find something.

"Hm?" Alicia glanced over to Penny as their ally indicated that she had something that she wanted to share at this point. The information she had, once said, was definitely interesting. So there was someone in the Overcity who may have been pulling the strings? It would explain some things, even if they had no evidence to go with it.

"I see, we'll look into that," she said once Penny had finished. A frown escaped at the mention of where it had com from, the names ringing a bell. Unfortunately there were a lot of people with that name so she couldn't immediately place who it was until Penny went on, and understanding quickly dawned. Right, the duo from the hospital. That just left her to wonder where they had gotten the information from, and why they hadn't felt like bringing this to the attention of Beacon.

An eyebrow rose at the mention of bacon, but she quickly moved past that to address the thing at the hospital. "It was," she confirmed with a nod. "A sudden transformation like that in the middle of a battle...we weren't sure if she would go on a rampage and put more innocents in danger. Suwako was a bit more forceful than she needed to be and didn't expect it to light on fire like it did." A sigh then as she looked around the piles of punk in the corner. "Still, I'm not surprised by that kind of attitude towards us. I suppose it's easier for magical girls in general to think that way." And unfortunately there was nothing they could do to change it while still being Beacon. Oh well, at least you got used to it eventually

@FlamelordFair, I do recall the Better PR perk, but I think we might know who is behind it.

For a minute I thought that was actually a perk and I felt very stupid.

Alicia had just finished cracking the door open with a small grin to herself when she found her efforts interrupted. Spinning on her heels, her fingers spread as she prepared to transform and conjure her bow for a fight. That would be very unfortunate, to find herself discovered now when she was about to break in.

Upon seeing who it was she relaxed, a sigh of relief escaping as she straightened up. "Oh, hello Penny," she said with a nod as she stepped back towards the door. "It does seem that way. I appreciate it, even if it seems a tad unnecessary at this point." if there was no one around to stop her then she didn't need extra firepower. But still, having an extra pair of eyes could be helpful when they were carrying out their mission. Penny might see something that she missed.

Carefully she opened the door, stepping to the side and gesturing for Penny to lead the way. "Normally we wouldn't be this close to Beacon territory but with everything that's happened I guess the opportunists have decided to test their luck. we're just making sure that the information we have is right before we deal with the problem."

Once Penny had entered she moved into the building as well, closing the door behind them. Her gaze swept the dilapidated room as she moved forwards. "Keep your eyes peeled. We're looking for any signs that Monster Girls are here, and what they're planning to do if thy are." Which was easier said than done, but they had to make the effort. Who knew, maybe they'd get lucky. There was only one way to tell as she began the investigation.

@Shifter_Master
Well, Penny is trying not to be a monster, which I'm guessing why she is allied with Bacon, but she does still think like one at times.

Penny makes sense, though I'm getting what Ariamis means. Since all the depicted monstergirls/dark magical girls/horrors are thus far aligned with the bad guys, it makes Beacon seem more villainous/paranoid than it actually is by deciding to condemn the whole bunch because of a few rotten apples rather than there being an actual problem.

Like I've said many a time, the monsters have better PR.
Yui needs to take a chill pill
To be honest, the IC hasn't done much to contradict that picture aside from Beacon character perspectives anyway :V
Lenier

Bone merged back together, flesh and muscle wove itself back into a single whole as the regeneration did its work. His wounds vanished and a leg sprouted from the stump that had been there previously. It wasn't exactly a pleasant experience to feel, but it was the sort of strange irritation that he could endure with a casual ease. It was the unfortunate fate of a Daybreaker that this sort of wound was not foreign to him.

"Uugh, got dust in my mouth," Lenier grumbled as he rose to his feet. For a moment he swayed, his balance not all it was cracked up to be at first. But a few seconds later he got his feet back under him as the regeneration finished. Just in time for him to step to the side to dodge a shard of bone that protruded through the exact spot where he had been sitting. That would have been bad.

Hefting the torch that was his Crown, Lenier wasted no time in springing into actin, smashing projections and spires of bone as he cast a bolt of blue flame at the Tyrant that had taken his leg from him. With the three of them working together this thing would not stand a cha-

Before he had the opportunity to finish that sentence, there was the loud sound of impact, and suddenly he was flying. Again. Well this time it was more accurate to say that he was falling along with the rest of the building towards the ground. Which unfortunately for him was a long way away. Damn it.

He reoriented as he was falling, springing off a nearby piece of rubble to launch himself towards their opponent. Aerial parkour was put to use as he drew close, yet he would not get in melee range. Instead he pointed his torch forward and let loose with a stream of blue fire upon the Tyrant, to last just as long as he was falling until he hit the ground. He was not going to spend this entire fight regenerating, that was for sure
