The moment the shadows dropped the empty but hexed bag into the bin, Chas lit a match and tossed it inside, glad that there was other rubbish in there to catch the flame and set the bag alight without any other liquid being needed. He decided to stay outside to make sure that he could see when the bags as completely destroyed, not wanting to take any chances this time round. He smirked at Serena's comment, nodding, "I guess just ordering a crap load of pizza for you and the other two will just have to do" he replied. "or anything else you want." he added, realising he didn't even know if she liked pizza, it was just the first thing that came to mind.

Kay let him go grab the painkillers for her headache, taking them from him when he got back, listening to what he was saying. Opening the bottle, she took three pills out and swallowed them, grimacing as they went down with no water. Putting the lid back on, she placed the bottle down beside her on the couch as she continued to listen to him talk and calm to the feel of him rubbing her shoulder. "thanks and I don't know really. Fee just felt something was off with Serena, so I went to go look and that's when I heard the thumping on the side of the bath as I got closer to the bathroom and rushed in to try and help. As for anything else hurting, not too much no. I can deal with the grazes from landing on the broken mirror" she replied to him.
Chas was, unlike John at times, more considerate of other people and didn't make a habit of being around when people were naked, especially aqs he was married and had a child. He kept his sight well and truly away from Serena as she decided to get dressed before looking back when it was clearly safe as she mentioned about going to burn the bag. "Right, I said to John we'll do it outside in one of the big bins" he explained to her, standing up and exiting the room. "I can nick John's matches from the kitchen as we go outside, if you can grab Kay's bag from where you left it?" he told her. He lead the way through the hallway, grabbed the matches from the kitchen and walked outside when they were both ready to where there was a barrel for a bin.

Kay let him stop her and laid back once more. "I will be, and I'm glad she's okay" she replied to him, looking up at the ceiling. She had a banging headache and wanted to just do absolutely nothing. "Don't suppose you have any painkillers still? My head is absolutely killing me and feel a bit light headed" she told him. "As cliche and cheesy as this sounds, please don't leave me alone?" she requested.
Chas nodded and helped Serena to the room she had previously slept in so she could get dried off and dressed once he was happy she was okay. He kept a protective hold on her the entire time, deciding that he wouldn't leave her alone to get dressed until she was okay to be on her own. He was going to leave it entirely up to her. "good job we found you. Well, Kay found you and called us. She tried to help but whatever was there threw her into the bathroom cabinet mirror. But don't worry about her, John has her and will make sure she's okay. Main thing is John banished whatever it was and I won't leave you unless you tell me to fuck off" he told her, with a slight smile.

Eventually Kay started to mumble as she began to stir, groaning and wanting to instinctively go to touch her head but saw John over her, seeing the blood on his shirt she looked at him wide eyed. "Serena!" she gasped, not knowing that they managed to help her and save her. She then groaned more and winced feeling pain in her shoulder blade and back of her head.
Chas instinctively did what John was saying as he was saying it, glad that it worked and Serena did indeed cough up water. When she was done coughing it up, Chas helped her up so she could keep hold of the towel round herself, whilst John went to Kay, pulling out themirfor shard. "we will, let's get you both sorted first" Chas replied to Serena, helping her out of the bathroom, so John could fully focus on Kay's unconscious body. "how she doing John?" he asked, talking about Kay. Kay was still out cold, but there were signs of her eyes flickering under her eyelids. Blood seeped into the towel from her back, whilst the blood from the back of her head which was the cause of her being knocked out, matted into her hair and stained John's shirt.

"John get her somewhere safe and awake, she's gonna need stitching up unless Fee can heal her up. I'll continue helping Serena and burn the bag outside in a bin" he told him. He figured if they could deal with both problems at the same time it'll make John's home a lot safer a lot quicker for everyone involved.
If it wasn't for the fact Kay started shouting at the top of her lungs for help, Chas would have said something along the lines 'why? Because she's snarky, a redhead and isn't trying to kill you ever five minutes?' but he didn't get the chance to due to the shouting. When they reached the bathroom he almost skidded right passed the doorway, making him have to grab the door frame to stop himself. He wasted no time getting inside before shielding his eyes as John banished what was inside, helping him pull Serena out of the bath. He kept check of her pulse as John started CPR, before glancing over at Kay, seemingly not moving. As John asked Kay if she was alright, there was no reply from the redhead. "I got Serena, you check Kay over" Chas said to John, gesturing for him to move to one side so he could take over with the CPR.

Fee tried to wake Kay from inside her mind but it was no good. Kay just couldn't wake up. Fee didn't want to leave her body again as she was certain she could kill Kay if she did, which meant she had no way of contacting John and Chas for help. She didn't know what to do as she kept trying to make Kay wake up, but nothing she tried worked, so she was left to hoping that John or Chas would be able to wake her. What she didn't realise was that when Kay went crashing into the bathroom mirror, a shard went into her back near her shoulder blade, which was right where her wing portal/tattoo was. If her wings were out (luckily not the case) it would have penetrated right through a wing bone.
Chas nodded and walked back to where the bags were with John and began sorting through them, putting whatever Kay asked for with her new backpack that they needed to burn still and listened to his mate talk, seeing how he was still having one hand on his cheek. "She pretty much told me the same thing. So that theory of yours collaborates what she told me. She said her father was the last vessel for Bane. That she never wanted it but her father doesn't even know who she is because her mother ran before she was born. So I'm guessing that her mother didn't want to risk her being the new vessel for whatever reason and tried to keep her from her fate. Which as we can see, did not work in the slightest. What did you find out from Kay? Apart from the big thing, we still don't know really anything about her" he replied, "she certainly seems to like you" he smirked.

Kay was minding her one business pulling the out her new phone and began to start the process of setting it up, amazed that she got given such a nice phone and not just something that would be considered nothing more than a burner phone. It was then she felt Fee stir in her head, "I fear Serena needs our help" Fee spoke in her head. Kay paused what she was doing and got up, walking to the hallway which is where she then heard the thudding on the side of the bath, making her break into a sprint and come bursting into the bathroom, seeing the girl struggling to come up for air. "what the hell?!" she cursed, instantly grabbing Serena and trying to bring her up for air. "GUYS HELP!!!!" She screamed out. She kept tugging at Serena, wondering what was keeping her down, but she could feel the force herself. "whatever the hell you are, let her go!" she cursed, before feeling said force throw her off Serena, making her crash into the bathroom mirror, it smashing round her. She placed her hands down to push herself up but she just passed out, blood trailing down the back of her head, and her hands from her accidentally pressing down on them.

Chas heard the yell from Kay making him look up toward the hallway and then at John. "shit" he said, making a run for the bathroom, getting there just as Kay went flying into the bathroom mirror and passing out.
Chas nodded and smiled at her words, finding they meant a lot to hear them, even though he wasn't fishing for them. He let her take the bags with the bathroom supplies in and took Kay's new phone as he pushed himself off the edge of the table he was still leaning on and started to head to the main room, where he could hear John still talking to Kay. He hovered on the theshold before walking in, wanting to not disturb the other two during their conversation. In the room, Kay nodded at John's comment, thankful that he was so willing to help her so much. "thanks John, it really means the world to me" she told him, before smiling a bit more at his suggestion, "right" she replied, and finding out of nowhere she just kissed his cheek, before being interrupted by Chas walking in and fake coughing.

"got the new phone for Kay" Chas declared, waving the box with the phone inside in his hand as he walked over and put it down on the coffee table in front of Kay and John. "Serena is in the bath to relax, so no one disturb her" he also said, glancing at the two of them. "There's still a couple of bags in the kitchen with supplies for you Kay, including that new backpack you wanted." he told her, "Cool, I'll grab it in a bit." Kay replied, grabbing for the new phone box, using a nail to break the seal on the edge and opening the box.
Chas smiled softly as she said about taking up the offer of using the bath to truly relax whilst she could get in there and make the most of the hot water. He glanced at the bags and nodded, "I'll get the phone to her whilst you take some quality time out for yourself. You can take your time in there, make the most of the hot water whilst you can. I'll talk Johnkay into getting you all takeout for dinner tonight, will probably have to bribe him with my credit card to do it, but if it'll work it's worth it." he smirked. "Just hollah if you need any of us and I'm sure we'll be able to help in some way" she then added.

Kay nodded at his words smiling ever so slightly as he spoke, finding she was slightly surprised that John wasn't wanting to meddle, having for some reason, taken him as the exact type to do exactly that. With the questions asked, she found herself having to think about her reply. For some it might have been a small question, or at least an easy one to answer, but for her it was huge. There were so much she wanted to know and learn, that she didn't know where to start, not without giving it a serious thought. Eventually she did find her answer, and looked up at him. "I want to know more about what and who I am. I want to know my history, my mother's history. I want to know why I'm so wanted by demons and Hell, who this The First is...But I mostly just want to know who I am" she said, realising she was spouting off an incredibly long list of questions. "sorry...didn't mean to spout off so much" she added sheepishly.
Kay listened to what he was saying, somehow easily seeing him the drunken idiot type at some point. He always gave her the vibes that he was never one to partuclarly follow rules or do as he was told and it seemed she was sort of right. "seems like Chas is a real rock for you, like Sam was for me when I was around her. As for Fee finding Bane and Serena? I really don't know, I don't really understand Fee most of the time if I'm completely honest with you. It's like having another person or being in my soul and head. One that just loves to scold me at any opportunity she can" she replied to him. "got a feeling if you truly want answers then you might have to have a whole conversation with her and not me." she added.

Chas listened to her speak, glad that she felt like she could open up to him in some way ot another, even if it was only a little bit, it was something. So he wasn't going to be rude or dismissive in any way, and instead give her his full attention. "sounds like you had a rough upbringing of not truly knowing where you came from. I think if there's a way you may need to have this conversation about her father with Bane. Maybe that way you can learn about him, even if you don't know him. As for what to do now? I think you need to rest up and be safe here. We're all fucked up in our way and I think we can all help each other. We'll do all we can do to help you and make you feel like you belong here" he told her, giving her a comforting squeeze on the shoulder.
Kay slowly looked up at John when he gestured for her to do so, making herself look in the eyes and forcing herself to not look away, no matter how much she must have wanted to. She listened to what he said, nodding slowly at his words feeling glad that he understood where she was coming from because he too, went through that moment of wanting to run. She was glad that he wasn't wanting to push her into breaking down those walls to let everyone in all at once, she appreciated that he was giving her time to do it in her own time. "thank you John, truly." she said back to him, still looking at him. "the last person I trusted was my best friend/adoptive sister Sam. Not having her near me to tell me things are okay and its okay to trust and let others in, it's difficult" she explained. "I will get there eventually, I promise, but I'm not ready to fully drop my guard yet." she added. "but I want to...I really do. I mean, you're not the worst person I've had in my company" she smirked ever so slightly.

Chas leaned against the table as Serena opened up ever so slightly to him, to explain why it was difficult for her to just be herself around them or even be around them full stop. "that's tough. I can't imagine what that must have felt like, but I know what it's like to come face to face with a demon, to have threats given. I also know what it's like to die. John got involved in this magic world from an early age. We were young and stupid and in a punk band. Anyway, shit went down during a gig and a demon was summoned, slaughtering everyone in the club. John being who he was, thought the way to defeat the demon was to summon an even more powerful and bigger one. Except it went south fast...that demon stole our bass player's kid Astra. She was only like 10 years old, and he's hated himself ever since. Even put himself into an insane asylum to try and cope" he explained. "As for me? Myself and John were out at a gig in another bar one night. John drunkenly cast a spell on me leaving me behind so he could once again have a one night stand. An hour later if that, the placed somehow caught fire and burned down. myself and 47 others died, but because of the spell John cast on me, I came back to life, waking up in the hospital with my wife and kid by my bedside. I now have those other 47 souls onto myself, and every time I die, I come back but it costs me one of those 47 souls. Needless to say in this life that I help John in, I don't have 47 chances to come back. I have about 40 left" he explained.
