Chas held back to let the two more powerful members of their growing group to take charge, but that wasn't to say he couldn't fight if it was required. He just hoped that this mage wouldn't have something up his sleeve to completely throw them off guard. He knew some of the past mages that John had dealt with or voodoo specialists, Papa Midnite always coming to mind in these situations and knew just how slimy and tricky they could truly be. He found it risky for John to have his back to the mage and hoped his friend wasn't making a rookie mistake. It was surprising enough when he saw John kiss Kay, thinking it couldn't have been part of the spell to bring her back to reality but then what did he know? He wasn't the expert.

When Kay felt John's lips on hers, she kissed him back and suddenly felt a break in the hold that took ahold of her. As John pulled away it made her feel the need to gasp for air via a large inhale and exhale as she felt more with it and focused. She looked at him as he instructed and nodded, finally seeing the mage that was silouetted in her mind behind him. "Gladly" she replied, closing her eyes she spoke to Fee "Fee it's time to protect me and the others" "as you wish Kay" Fee responded back in her head, taking over Kay's consciousness, making her open her eyes to which they burned their golden orange colour instead of her grey blue hue, her wings appearing quickly, breaking any hold any shadows or magic had on her. "It's time you left this place!" she demanded, noticing Bane by her side.

"There she is! The one that burns bright and is rarer than the rarest crystal in all of the world" the mage spoke smirking. Everything was falling into his hands and just as he planned it would. Only thing he didn't expect was seeing John kissing the phoenix to break his trance spell. It was nothing he couldn't work with however and worked for him even more. He used his magic and threw John far from Kay and Bane, letting him just drop to the ground in a scuffle before quickly speaking an incantation and in a blink of an eye, Kay was gone from sight. Before Bane or any of the others could attack him he too was gone.

SAM WINCHESTER

Sam was dubious that this Benjamin bloke could indeed prove himself, but when he did and did indeed levitate nearly to the ceiling he just gave a shrug and the look of 'okay, you're the real deal, point taken'. He listened to the list of the other powers Benjamin had before shaking his head, "No need to prove yourself more" he told him simply. He had to admit he did have a point with the last statement and that was one reason why he didn't want the guy to prove himself all the more as well as the fact he didn't want Ruby to walk out and see a psychic in the room using his powers. "aLso got a guest in here so you have to excuse the fact this wasn't the best time to drop by" he told him. He really wasn't sure what he could do to help this guy at the moment other to start asking more questions. "So is it your powers that make demons want to come after you? Where did they last find you?" he began asking, needing as much information as possible.

NATALIA WINCHESTER

Natalia listened to her and could also see how the guy she was with wanted nothing more than to just leave which got her intrigued why a bloke who looked like could give her a good run for her money in a fight was seeming so skittish around her. She glanced back at Annabeth with a raised eyebrow when she mentioned about Sam being the one to save them all, "save us all from what? And hearing voices ain't the craziest thing I've heard, used to hear them myself so I believe you" she replied, but it was the second thing that Annabeth decided to come out with after Cason begged Annabeth to let them leave that truly stopped her in her tracks. "I'm sorry....what?" she questioned, opening her door more and gesturing for the girl to come inside as she did not want anyone to possibly overhear the conversation. She didn't think anyone would have the power to bring her half brother back to this world, after all they tried everything they possibly could within their power.

MIKA CHAMBERS

The moment Dean hugged her back, she knew in that moment that there was no way this was an illusion or a dream. Dean really was truly back. The grip on her was oh so familiar and she refused to let him go until he was ready to break away, she just wanted to cling onto him just as tightly as if it would stop him disappearing on her all over again. SHe let him pull back and looked right back at him as he held her face in his hands. Oh how she had missed that familiar feel of his calloused hands on her cheeks, a tear falling from her eyes as he rubbed her cheeks. She waited for him to ask what he needed to Bobby, a question that was of no surprise what so ever. Yet she knew he wasn't going to like the answer he was about to get. She looked at him somberly as he looked back at her for clarification.

"He went out on a crazed hunting spree three months ago with Nat and neither have been back since. Nat sometimes checks in but we haven't heard from Sam at all, or able to find him. Even Nat doesn't know where he is" She elaborated to him. "I'm sorry Dean but its been hard, you've been gone and dead for four months. None of us have taken it well" she explained.

SAM WINCHESTER

Sam raised an eyebrow at the young man who now introduced himself as Benjamin. He folded his arms across his chest as he heard the shower still very much in use by Ruby. "a psychic huh? Met a few, quite a lot just proved themselves as fake." he pointed out curtly. "I dunno what else to tell ya, I'm not teaming up with people right now" he then added, really not in the mood to babysit anyone from demons, even though he could quite happily kill any demon or send them to Hell just for the sake of it. He wasn't even staying in contact with his half sister Natalia or Bobby and Mika, so what made this new guy who just turned up at his hotel doorstep think he was going to help him?

NATALIA WINCHESTER

Natalia couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the girl's comment about being certain she wouldn't believe her for why she wanted Sam so badly. "I'd believe anything" she replied back, knowing that not only was she a hunter that had seen some serious shit, she had been through a serious amount of crap even before she became an official hunter. She thought the girl was going to give up as she seemed to sigh and step backwards, but then came the question that always got her back up. This girl was sensing she knew Sam, which made her be the one to now sigh and put the safety back on her gun behind the door and place it in the back of her jeans waistband. She opened the door properly and saw the man beside her who she could hear talking and begging to just leave. "He's my brother and I don't know where he is. We headed in separate directions a while ago, now I ask again, why do you want him?" she replied as vaguely as possible.

MIKA CHAMBERS

Seeing Bobby lunge for Dean made Mika go on the defence just incase and tried to keep back, like her uncle she didn't trust this could truly be Dean. THE Dean, HER Dean. She listened as Dean tried to keep convincing them both that he was who he says he was, feeling so incredibly conflicted about what to think and do. On one hand she wanted to fight the guy alongside her uncle, on the toher she wanted to stop Bobby and believe Dean. When he looked at her in particular asking for help to convicne Bobby she remained firm in her spot, watching him take the silver blade that he had in defence and slice across his forearm to prove he's not a shifter. She grabbed the nearest whiskey flask that held her holy water and threw it at him to test if he was a demon, but nothing seemed to happen either, just Dean getting wet. "D..Dean? It's really you?" She questioned in disbelief, shocked that she was staring at the one man she had wanted to bring back more than anything in these last four months. The one man she thought she would never ever see again outside of photos on her phone. "But how?" She asked, managing to find that she could still move her limbs and flung herself round him to hug him tightly.

Kay couldn't hear John shouting after her, or if she could it was such a muffled voice it just didn't get through to her at all. All she could focus on was the mage drawing her closer to get her under the premise of saving John. She was competely oblivious that Serena was making her shadows wrap around her to stop moving, only that she was making the actions of moving but not actually going anywhere. With John reaching her and placing his hands on her face, her eyes just seemed completely glazed over like they were looking through John and not at him.

The mage stepped out from what seemed to be a cloaking spell, showing he was right there when Kay was walking to him. "But if I release her then John withers away and dies. You release the phoenix and John will have that hex I put on him removed. It's really that simple" he spoke in a cocky tone and smirk. "So it's time to pick who you save. the flamebird or the mage" he added.

As John's trance breaking spell was being used, Kay was starting to show signs of it working by her eyes showing the fact she was fighting it as she stopped the action of walking on the spot. "J-J-John help m-" she managed to stammer out as she tried to break free of the trance the other mage put on her.

Chas nodded and hoped it would work, if they lose Kay then they're work is going to double in trying to get her back. "let's hope it works" he agreed, "we should get back to the other two" he then said, knowing it was pointless trying to do anything else up here.

Kay smirked slightly but it didn't take away the worry for John's state in the slightest. "I'm okay, I'm more worried about you. Your eyes are bloodshot and you're sweating like crazy" she told him, not even paying attention to the fact that Serena had left one of her shadows to look after them. She went to get up and got a sharp pain in her head with a flashing images, making her sit back down again. "dammit!" she cursed. Then she heard a voice that wasn't Fee come through as the pains in her head and of imagery came back. A silhouetted figure, male for certain Kay thought standing outside the mill house amongst the trees that go into the woods. "you wanna save John? Then meet me outside Phoenix, I can help you save him" the voice said to her, shoving her into a obedient trance like state, where she got up and headed outside without a word being spoken.

"yes that's right Phoenix, come to me. Waste no time now John doesn't have long" the voice continued to lure her outside, which she got to and low and behold there was a mage standing right in front of her. An older gentleman, greying hair and dishevelled looking. He was gesturing for her to come to him closer, swirls of black light emerging from his hands and reaching out for Kay, where it grabbed her and pulled her to the mage.

Sam wasn't in the slightest bit bothered that Ruby decided to go for a shower in his hotel room, even though he didn't fully realise she was even Ruby at this stage and at this moment in time, he was more focused on this guy at his hotel room door. At the information of there being demons wherever this guy goes, Sam couldn't help but smirk and step back, letting him inside the room. "If you don't want demons after you, then I'm the wrong person to hang around with." he told him. He really had become cold hearted since losing Dean and he just didn't think anything of it, it was just how it was in his eyes.

MIKA CHAMBERS

Mika was aware of her uncle coming to where she was and nodded her acknowledgement of his presence near her. She knew he would be just happy that she was even out of her room and she was quite frankly happy that he didn't try and make her speak or open her heart out to him to make her stop bottling everything up. She had heard the phone ring in the distance but she really didn't want to know who it was. If it was someone wanting help on a case, she didn't want to know, she felt too burned out to go on hunting, especially as it was yet another one of those days where Dean's abscence was too much to bare. Some days she could handle it, other days she couldn't, and this was definitely one of those days. She patted his hand back when he patted her shoulder, a silent way of saying 'I'll be okay sometime'. As he decided to go back inside, she remained outside, making the most of the air but it was when the door bell rang and she heard a voice at the door that made her get curious and walk inside. She headed straight to the door and stood behind Bobby, but the face she saw on the outside was not one she would have ever thought she'd see again. She almost didn't want to believe it was truly Dean and if Bobby wasn't believing it, then she knew she shouldn't either. She instantly grabbed the silver letter opener off the side table for all their car keys and post, there was no way she was going to take any chances. "You've got some bloody nerve coming here with his face" she sneered.

NATALIA WINCHESTER

Natalia was enjoying the moment of peace and hadn't long woken up feeling absolutely starving which made her get up and go to get changed into a fresh vest and get her boots on again so she could think about going across the road to the diner to grab some food. Yet all of her plans were shattered when she heard a knock on the door which made her groan in annoyance. She grabbed her handgun off her bedside table and took the safety off before walking to the door and looking through the spyhole seeing a young redhead outside. Her curiousity got piqed when the girl seemed to be asking for her half brother, but it was also a curiousity that made her wonder if it was someone after him for nefarious reasons so she opened the door ever so slightly but kept her gun hidden behind said door. "There's no Sam here, what do you want with him?" she asked.

Ruby will be the woman Sam is with like in the show, then it's just Benjamin and Sam himself. Natalia is at a different hotel.

Chas nodded, "trust me I hate being the one to say it but I can't see any other way and like you say, John ain't gonna last for any other plan" he replied to her and accepted the idea of having backup plans. That wa sone thing he would never ever protest to having. "agreed that we can't let anyone run off with her" he added.

Kay looked at John and saw the state he was in, becoming wide awake in seconds and sitting up. "don't be, you look like shit John" she said in her own little way of showing concern.

Chas paused what he was doing when he heard Serena make it upstairs to him and explain what was going on. "bloody hell.... Uhh okay. Give me a moment" he said to her as he tried to wrack his brain for some kind of idea. He just didn't know at first what to come up with, he didn't want to lose his best mate as he knew if John died, it was straight to Hell for him, but he didn't particularly like the idea of just offering up Kay either. Yet out of the two options, the latter was the least compromising. "I have an idea, but you're not gonna like it and neither is he" he warned. "if we can find a way to draw out the mage who hexed John, and I'm guessing they have to be somewhere near, we give them Kay. On the premise he removed the hex from John, then we grab Kay" he suggested. He knew it could go wrong, it was a risky plan but it was the only thing he could honestly think of. Something just told him that the only reason John was hexed was to make it easier to grab Kay. Which if that as the case, means the hex will be lifted (if they're lucky) when the mage has Kay.

Kay let out a sleepy hum as she began stirring awake, even though she didn't want to be awake as she still felt tired. "... What is it?" she grumbled sleepily.sloely opening her eyes then seeing John, instantly getting wide awake.
