Mika followed him out the doors, letting the cold air hit them both when she said what she did and made him stop dead in his tracks. The way he paused and at first didn't seem to say anything to her back, she couldn't help but start internally panic that she did the entirely wrong thing by admitting how she felt toward him and that this was going to utterly ruin their friendship. She didn't think it was because of the way she said his name initially.

The moment he stammered out that it wasn't a date, she nodded about to be fine with pretending that conversation never got started when a teacher caught them walking out and opening the window getting ready to yell at them tog et back inside.

She looked at him smiling back, letting him rub her cheek with his thumb as he said he would like it to be a date as well, before coming to the conclusion that it was now or never...they either did a runner or conceded defeat as the teacher started yelling at them. She didn't want to go back this time, she didn't want to be the goody two shoes student, she wanted out and a moment of freedom. She also wanted to be able to talk to Dean without other students interrupting them or a teacher doing the same thing.

Feeling the yank on her hand, she ran with him as fast as she could, glad that she was wearing her converse today and not any of her boots. Laughing as they ran, she followed him to the main part of town where the diner was located.

She saw his hands shaking as he pulled her closer to him and they walked to the diner together. She put an arm round his waist as he put his around her shoulders, smiling happily. "Yeah" she chuckled at his question. "I guess there's a first time for everything" she said with an amused tone.
MIKA

When Dean suddenly brought up a moment from a few years ago now, way back when Sam was just a kid and also being one hell of a terrible night for the two of them, and not just because they were worried sick about Sam inexplicibly running off with a unknown girl, Mika found herself really thinking back to the night and the realisation dawning on her. "Shit I think you're right. She was called Anna...you don't think..." she started saying before really putting the pieces together, "well bloody hells, I never thought we'd see her again" she commented back, finding her mind well and truly blown.

When she said what she did, she didn't even hear Cason say the same thing, deciding that she wasn't going to eavesdrop when he was talking with Esme. She noted how he was with the woman and she didn't want to get involved and she certainly felt she didn't have right to say anything after she so wrongly caused a scene involving her and Dean, and she was trying so hard to make things right by Esme.

She lifted her head when he did the recognisable shoulder shrug to make her look at him, only to be met with him wriggling his eyebrows at her making her chuckle and gently giving him a shoulder nudge. "Your mind is constantly in the gutter, you sure you're not thinking with your downstairs brain again?" she smirked at him, trying to keep the conversation lighthearted and fun instead of dragging it down into the negative territory. Not that she would ever complain about sneaking off with him but there were far too many people in the house and now really wasn't the time.

NATALIA

She smiled at Bobby's gesture knowing he would be too stubborn to ask for her help, but she would always offer no matter what and if she thought he could do with it, she would gladly hang back to give him a hand and not take no for an answer.

As his smile grrew wider at her realising what it was he found, she felt glad she was understanding what she was reading correctly. Putting the book back down on his desk, she let him read what was written beside the sigil design, "That must have been what Cason used to banish Samael in the hotel room. If it is then yeah, this bad boy will definitely get rid of Angels in a massive way. Filled the room in a bright light and banished the Angel." she explained to him.

She looked herself and saw he was right, it did require human blood. She followed his glance toward Cason and Esme before looking back at the book. "we'll figure it out, we always do in this family" she pointed out to him.

SAM

As Annabeth nuzzled into his hand, he used his thumb to wipe away the tear that fell from her eye. He got the feeling she didn't believe him but he had to keep believing no matter how hard it was to do so. He and his family had come out of some seriously hairy situations and in his eyes, if his brother could come back from Hell then there had to be a way to get Anna back from Alistair somehow. Even if it meant killing Alistair to do so.

Hearing her remember their brief first meeting together made him smile and chuckle as he remembered it the same way she did. He was nervous to be leaving his brother and father, to just up sticks and run away but there was something highly exhilirating about it when he was so young. Little did she know, it was that night that gave him the push he needed to eventually walk away from his brother and father and have a life in university.

"I agree, but if someone is to blame for making you forget that memory, then we'll fidn them and find out why they did it. Important thing is now though, that we both now remember. That I know you've been alive this whole time and living. I thought you got killed all those years ago, so you have no idea how glad I am to be proven wrong" he told her, stroking her cheek still before pulling her into his arms to hug.

Deep inside it was killing him that he'd have to say goodbye all over again and just hope she'll survive this without him...again. He didn't want to let her go now he had her back but he knew he had no other choice.

Mika couldn't help but give a nod of 'touche' when he pointed out he would be pretty crap friend if he didn't come to her rescue every now and then. She had to admit he did make a valid point that it would make him a crap mate if he just left her to be bullied and tormented by the other students but she also was always raised by her mother (and father) to be a polite and considerate person, that no matter who it was, she had to thank them for any kind gesture that was given to her. So for her, Dean was no exception, even if he did always tell her not to thank him, she would do it every single time.

She didn't even think about what his thoughts were when she was wearing his jacket, she just kept thinking how comfortable it was and how much it smelled like Dean. Although it swamped her torso, she couldn't help but feel slightly invincible when she wore it. She followed him down the stairs, noting how he still kept the alarm rig in tact for them so they always knew if they would disturbed or not. She made it downstairs with no problem but always noticed how he stayed close incase she tripped or fell in some way, and when he almost prtected her whilst he checked the coast was clear in the school hallway.

Stepping out onto the halls, she looked up at him briefly before looking in the direction they were walking again as he told her where he thought they could go for lunch. She was honestly so glad not to be going to the school cafeteria for lunch as the school's food was utterly awful in her opinion. She heard him as he kept rambling and starting to stutter on certain words which made her smile and she had to chuckle when he told himself to shut up.

"Dean..." she started saying, making him pause for just a brief moment as they etched closer and closer to the exit of the school. She saw him blushing and for the first time she actually got a clue that he possibly liked her the same way she liked him. "If you're wanting this to be a date because you like me more than best friends, then yeah, we can talk about it because...because I've feeling the same way" she told him, her own cheeks getting tinted slightly pink from her own blushing.

His comment about being delinquent making one hungry made her playfully nudge his arm with her shoulder as she was still cuddled into his side. At his offer to buy her some lunch and shrugging his shoulder to make her look up at him she smiled warmly and nodded. "okay" she replied to him seeing his sheepish pleading look, which just told her he was wanting her to eat and come back to civilisation. She knew she couldn't hide forever on the roof of the school, and if she was with him she should be safe.

She glanced her eyes downward as he swept her lose hair behind her ear, trying not to blush as he did so so she wouldn't give away any hint of how she felt for him. Luckily for her, his little quip about her being a starving damsel made her softly chuckle as she peeled herself away from him to sit upright a bit, getting ready to stand up and to let him stand up.

"you make a very valid point hero of mine" she quipped back at him, taking his hand and standing up, the full realisation of how big his jacket was on her, completely swamping her torso, her hands just about poking out of the cuffs and it was long enough to practically cover her shorts.

She squatted down and grabbed her satchel, slinging it over her shoulder before sliding her arm through one of his again, as she always did when they walked together, grabbing for his hand. "thanks for coming to find me Dean, I never said it earlier, but...thanks. You always seem to know what to say to cheer me up" she smiled. She really didn't know how she dealt with everything before he came along.

"so, where you taking me for lunch?" she asked her brown eyes looking up at him.
Feeling his head rest ontop of hers brought her some considerable amount of calm and relief. His many simple actions made her feel like there was hope in the world, that she had somewhere to belong, even if they were just close friends. She loved how he never once judged her for her passions, but instead welcomed them even if they weren't his passions. She loved reading to him or having watch her draw on the field under a tree.

When Dean told her to not beat herself up over everything, as she could be Sam, she couldn't stop the small light chuckle that escaped her at his dig about his little brother. "Sam's not all that bad Dean and you know it" she countered to him, knowing deep down how much Dean loved his little brother. She too liked Sam, she found him sweet and even at his young age incredibly smart.

She felt another wave of calm wash over her when he placed his hand over hers and brushed her knuckles eith his thumb, nuzzling her head into him a bit more, as if doing so would make her any closer to him which was impossible to do. She listened as he admitted he was waiting outside her classroom for her out of worry for her and another soft smile crept onto her lips. He really was so incredibly protective over her and she welcomed it as she never had had someone always watching out for her before.

She continued to listen as he told her never to change. She could have sworn he was going to say something when he quickly stopped himself and said something else. She smirked and made a very small snigger as he said he didn't walk stairs for just anyone and kissed the top of her head. "we'll I'm honoured to be someone you'd do such a strenuous activity" she quipped back at him before her stomach started to growl from being hungry which made her chuckle.

She couldn't believe that her stomach would just totally ruin the moment, a moment she wished deep down was because they were more than friends but thankful she had it as friends nonetheless. She didn't know if it was love she had for him or just a simple crush but she did feel so much for him than friendship, she was just too terrified to say anything incase he didn't feel the same way. For someone so smart, she was being incredibly oblivious when it came to how he felt for her.

When he removed his jacket and wrapped it round her shoulders, she couldn't help but smile lightly and instinctively grabbed each side of the garment and pulled it tightly round her so she could keep it round her more securely. The smell of it being the same as how he smelled which instantly brought the most calm to her she had felt since coming up here.

She knew she needed to be able to stand up for herself more, not let them see her as an easy target but she was never that kind of girl. She just wanted to get on with her passions and school work and not bother anyone. Yet even before Dean came along she had issues, it just so happened when she became friends with Dean, it really kicked off. But she couldn't help connecting with him naturally and finding him be a really good friend to her.

She listened to him talk to her, a small but genuine smile coming onto her lips at his words. A smile that only grew a little when he called himself her Knight in shining armour. She leaned into him, placing her head on his shoulder as she kept cuddling his jacket round her, briefly looking up at him before back out the view, "forever my hero" she replied to him. She knew he had a but of a hero complex but she did honestly always consider him exactly that to her.

"I just wanna get through school and pass my exams. Do my art, read my books and live without drama. But school has never been easy for me Dean. I'm literally that girl from the movies that stands out because she's the quiet one, the redheaded arty one that doesn't fit into any of the clicks. The one student that is liked more by the teachers than other students. It's pathetic really" she sighed.

"I'd always be the target for the 'accidental' trip ups or having my stuff be slapped out of my grip. They're just using you as the next thing to torment me with. It's nothing new for me. I guess my life is just destined to be that school kid trope" she added. She didn't want to call herself such a person but it's how she was seeing her life playing out. Only difference was that she had Dean to fall onto and not shoulder everything alone anymore.

She slipped her arms into the sleeves of his jacket so she loop her arm through his in a sort of hug, pulling her legs up to her chest. "how did you know to come find me anyway? Did one of my teachers say something?" she asked.

Mika was feeling so fed up of school life. She was one of the rare ones that when it came to learning she enjoyed school. She loved her art teacher and English teacher but when it came to the other students, they were making her life hell which was only getting worse because the popular girls were getting jealous that Dean was paying her attention and not them. It was highly cliche but not any less hurtful.

She was so thankful for Dean diffusing the earlier situation for her and telling the girls where to go but she still felt like she needed to just escape to a calming environment to calm down and gather herself. Truth was, she was completely oblivious to how much time she had spent on this roof, in the corner where her and Dean went together every single time so she wasn't even aware she skipped class until it was far too late to go down and return.

She was staring out the view which in her eyes, was a good one from this vantage point, the slight breeze blowing a few small sections of her rich red hair behind her. She heard his footsteps hit the gravel and recognised said footsteps as being his straight away but she didn't look behind her until he reached her position and he lightly kicked her leg with his foot.

At his quip she gave a small half smile, "I didn't intend to skip class, guess I just got lost in thought" she replied, giving him her usual signal for him to sit next to her. "just needed to gather myself on my own for a bit ya know? Figured coming here was the safest place to go and lost track of time." she added, finishing her sentence with a sigh.

"I'm just getting tired of being everyone's punchbag either physically or verbally. They're going as far as to destroy my art assignments now. They're hellbent on letting me know I won't escape then as long as I attend this school." she explained.
The fact they were both being so sappy with each other didn't go amiss on her. It was true, they did always take the piss out of those couples that were so openly in love with each other, swearing that they'd never be like that. Which was highly ironic as she was very deep down a hopeless romantic. Pride and Prejudice was and still is her all time favourite fictitious book to read, she still remembered when she called him her Mr. Darcy because it was highly amusing to her how incredibly different Dean was to Darcy in front of everyone else, but with her he was different.

Like him, she always crushed on him when they were younger. Spoke for many nights with her mother about how she was terrified telling Dean how she felt because she didn't want to ruin their solid friendship. She spent nights telling her mother about what they did, or how he helped shove the bullies off of her at school, or how he made her laugh or smile at something goofy he had done. How he never failed to bring her out of herself and make her feel like she was capable of so much more than drawing and reading alone. He gave her a burst of life she so desperately needed.

She could tell he was zoning out and thinking on something, but she didn't realise he was also thinking back on their younger days. Yet she didn't say anything more than she already had, deciding to leave the ball in his court to say something else.

When he spoke once more she continued to look right in his eyes, not daring to look away incase this was all some kind of cruel joke or dream by the universe. She wasn't even aware of how her heart felt like it was skipping beats from being with him or racing at the same time. Yet when he pointed it out, she then became hyper aware of it and she smiled sheepishly, just as she did when they were younger.

She was also incredibly thankful that he believed her. That he believed she could be better and more worthy of his time and effort. She closed her eyes and smiled when he kissed her nose as he explained that he wanted to leave but knew it would be a fruitless endeavor. Just as she always tried to stay away from him but ended up crawling back the moment he asked her to. She left Ethan for him for a start, didn't even say goodbye to the guy, just dropped him like he was nothing to go running to Dean into Minnesota.

She pecked his lips back at each kiss he made onto her as her hand reached up and curled round the side of his face, her fingertips reaching his short hair at the nape of his neck. "both of us are guilty of that" she replied when the pecks stopped briefly. "just like I said in that note in the book all those years ago, I will always come back for you" she said once more, leaning up again and kissing him again, letting her lips linger on his.

"we can do this Dean... I know we can"
Chas was trying to help in keeping Trish calm as he could tell this would just scare a little kid. When John said about the defibrillator, he let go of Trish. "I'll go have a look" he ran off to the room where John usually kept his medical supplies for those days he needed to do self patching up. He couldn't find the device but he did find adrenaline pens and smirked. "next best thing" he remarked to himself, running back to the group. "I couldn't find the other thing but, these adrenaline pens will work, just.. Don't do all four in one go. One should do it" he explained, handing them over to John as Josh was still trying to do cpr.

Kay winced, pressing her hand to the side of her head as she heard Bane telepathically spoke to her. She tried to focus on to Bane, always hating voices in her head. "what is it?" she mumbled in a whisper under her breath.
Mika's smile faded ever so slightly when he told her I shouldn't love him, that the love they have grown to feel for each other shouldn't be a thing for them, especially because of their lives as young hunters. Yet she knew her heart wanted what it wants and if she was honest with herself when she was Kenzi she thought those same things herself. She tried everything to stop her heart from feeling anything for Dean and failed every single damn time.

"trust me, I know... I've tried to not to, but I can't not" she replied to him. She knew he wasn't trying to kill the mood and she knew just as well as he did this was a conversation they had to have, no matter much it may hurt the both of them emotionally. Thinking everything was perfect for them again was the furthest from her mind, she knew this was just part of their process of forgiving each other and it was never an instant recovery.

She leaned into his hand as he rubbed her face with his thumb, smiling soberly but also partially warmly back as she too tried to convince herself that this time, things would be different.

She listened as he spoke honestly with her, more honestly than he had done for a very long time it felt, which she appreciated but also found them incredibly hard words to hear him admit. She hated that her crying or being hurt in any way hurt him that much. Yet it showed when he said the three heavy words, it really was truthful despite knowing he wasn't one to just say them at every single girlfriend he's ever got. For him, and her, they had to be truly meant before being said. It was why she could never say those words bsck to Ethan, when though he told her he loved her regularly.

She smiled somberly at him as he looked her right in the eyes and explained that he k ew what those words meant for her as well as him, nodding slightly in understanding as she knew he was right. She was so grateful that he was finally being fully honest with her and knew if he could be this honest with her, then she could with him also. "I know..." she began replying to him.

"I want this to work also Dean. You're not the only one that feels their entire being being ripped up when they see the other in a state, be it emotionally or physically. I do with you also. I want this just as much but I'm not going to pretend that it will be an easy road to proving we can do this. I don't think it will be easy...for either of us but I'm willing to fight the odds if you are." she started saying, deciding now was time to be fully honest.

"like I said, I'm willing to try anything I can to change and be a better person. It won't be easy for me, I'm practically learning to be myself again, someone I've forgotten to be for so long. But I wanna myself again. Be that girl you first met all that years ago." she told him.
