Josh nodded in understanding at her remarks, "You can tell me about it later or whenever you're ready to" he told her, until he saw her look down at her hands and saw the black glistening marks on her hands. "What's that?" he asked, taking her hands into his to inspect it himself. "You got any idea what it is?" he asked her.

Geraldine giggled at John's words, "Dad owes me five bucks!" she grinned, making ti very known that they clearly had a bet going between the two of them when it came to John and Kay. Chas shook his head and put his hand on his forehead, "Geraldine, you weren't meant to say anything in front of him kiddo" he said, a smirk on his face.

As Trish came down the stairs and hugged her, Kay hugged her back and smiled. The action of just being hugged by a kid she knew brought some kind of comfort to her. "we're okay Trish, tired but okay" she told her. "It's been a crazy couple of days" she said, not realising she echoed Serena's words to Josh.
MIKA CHAMBERS, SAM AND NATALIA WINCHESTER

It didn't matter how many years she would know Dean for, the green in his eyes would take her breath away because they were so vastly different to her incredibly dark brown ones. She would always remember the first ever time she met him and even back then she was taken aback by how bright his green eyes were, something that always amazed her even after she learned what he did for a living thanks to his dad dragging him into the hunter life. Now, years later, it was just the same. he could be so down and feel mentally beaten but his eyes never seemed to dim and it honestly gave her a sense of hope which she was convinced that to anyone else, it would sound incredibly strange.

She was relieved that he was kissing her back and she couldn't stop the smile that crept up onto her lips when he told her she had ruined him. Deep down there was this almost twisted side to her that actually revelled in that fact, that still had this impact on him and she was still very much wanted by him also brought her a sense of relief. Yet it was hearing him say say she was stronger than him and not useless, but terrifying that made her smirk albeit baffling to her mind.

A reply couldn't even come to her as he kissed her once more, one that she returned as she always did before smiling softly, glad that he was at least willing to try and ignore Cason for as long as he could. "Thank you, I love you too but we're as strong as each other, you just don't realise it" she told him finally, never being able to see how she was so much stronger than he was. The idea that she was stronger than him in any capacity was the most baffling to her, especially after the last four months because she was an utter wreck that no one could get through to. She was willing to throw absolutely everything away if she couldn't have him back in her life, the hunting rampage she went on in the first month proved pointless, it didn't quelch her anger at Lilith and her hellhounds for taking him from her, it didn't stop her heartache or make her feel better. It didn't make her feel anything but the overwhelming grief she had.

The one thing however her four months of grieving did teach her was how Dean must have felt when they were teenagers and he thought she was dead. For her, it felt like the world was giving her four months of what he was feeling all those years ago and those times she had angrily yelled at him that maybe she should have died that fateful night. She just hoped that if she died on the job and he was still around, her death would still have an impact on him and he'd do whatever he could to keep her memory alive, not only that but would do what he could to seek justice for her death.

Just as he was staring into her eyes, she was staring into his back, when the knock on the door that she recognised to be Natalia's brought her out of her many thoughts. She let him get up and be the one to open the door and just as she had guessed, it was indeed Natalia standing there.

"Yeah we got a bit. Cason dropped a bit of information too to us, but Sam found some tiny bones in the school art class furnace that he thinks are similar to what you guys found in the hex bag" she explained. "What about you two? What did you get out of the widow?" she asked, now gently pushing herself into the room as she typically did, nodding her greeting to Mika as she did so.

"Cason says there's something going to go down at the halloween party some kids have organised at the graveyard or something. Fricking asked me and Anna if he could be our date for the damn thing" she said, visibly shuddering in disgust at the thought. "Like you would ever do the whole plus one stint" Mika smirked, "That's what I said!" Nat chimed back in reply.

Sam rolled his eyes at what Cason was saying but those eye roll quickly turned into a snigger when Annabeth made the smartass remark back at him about Esme shooting him again. He never recalled her being that snarky, but it was refreshing to see and he hoped he would see more of her standing up for herself and giving Cason the backchat he honestly thought the demon deserved at times. Especially after he slept with Mika and kept flirting with the other girls. He definitely didn't like how Cason kept seemingly pine for Esme, but flirted with Natalia whenever he could.

As Annabeth walked away from Cason, he followed and walked up to his brother's room with her, letting her stand behind him as Dean stood there. "So how much has Nat told you already?" he asked Dean, giving himt he gesture to be let inside the room. "Let them in already Dean" Mika said casually as Nat pulled herself to sit on the table instead of one of the two chairs.
Josh smiled as Serena hugged him back and he felt the tears drop onto his shirt as she told him she missed him. "Aww sweetheart, I missed you too" he told her back, holding her close and kissing the top of her head. "you're home now and safe that's all I care about" he told her, pulling her back just enough to wipe her tears from her cheeks and under her eyes with his thumb.

Kay couldn't help but smile when Geraldine came rushing down to John and hugged him, yet it made her smile more seeing John hug Geraldine back and be so soft with her. It was like she was seeing another side to John yet again and it warmed her heart. Looking up at the top of the stairs, she saw Trish, "Hey Trish, how's it going?" she greeted.

Geraldine nodded quickly at John's questions, "I'm good and yeah, Trish is great fun! Dad said she can come round to play any time!" she beamed happily. "how have you been? Is she your new girlfriend that dad has told us about??" she then asked, gesturing toward Kay cheekily.
Josh looked up when he heard the door open to the living room and his name get called, smiling broadly as Serena was standing in front of him. He instantly stood up, put his jug down that he was holding and walked over to her, hugging her instantly. "hey! You're back!" he beamed.

Feeling John let go of her hand made Kay frown slightly only for it to disappear when he put his arm round her waist. She nodded at his words as she put her own arm round him back. "old habits die hard..." she replied to him as they made it to the living room and saw Serena get hugged by Josh which made her smile.

She then heard running footsteps down the stairs behind them and a voice she didn't recognise but guessed who it would be. "JOHN!!" Geraldine called out excitedly for her godfather as she ran down the stairs and toward him.
As John lead her down the hallway, she stayed close to him, even to the point she grabbed his hand. It wasn't that she was afraid of her surroundings, it was purely just because she was partly tired of driving and nervous meeting yet another new person, even if it was Chas' ex wife. She also felt she didn't want to risk being taken again so she figured as remaining right next to John at the services worked, she would do the same here.

She then saw Serena hovering just outside of the living room. "he's gonna be happy to see you Serena" she comforted and reminded her. "she's right, he's been impatient to see you back safe" Chas said to Serena before looking at John, "damn straight you will tell me everything later." he smirked to his friend.
As Dean pressed on each of her toes, she remained still and didn't flinch on most of them, the only time she showed any kind of reaction was when he got to her big toe, the one she mostly hit where she gave a little wince but nothing major. "good to know in advance" she smirked back, looking him in the eyes back, noticing how his eyes trailed down to her lips for a moment before glancing back at her foot that he still had a grip of. She nodded at his eventual talking again, realising that she actually didn't have anything to do now that the case she was on with Sam, was over.

"I actually don't have anything on, so might just see if there's another case or something...unless you want company doing the supply run?" she replied to him as she lowered her foot to the ground, but considering his expression seemed deep in thought, she wasn't even sure if he had hesrd a single word she said. Then there was the fact that she couldn't ever stop thinking about how attractive he was when she barely knew him. She knew Sam better than she knew Dean, yet it seemed she could never stop giving in to the temptation of either being a smart ass or slightly flirty with him.

Lexi being Lexi knew that although she was being like this, she wouldn't dream of taking advantage of Dean when he was how he was at the moment, but he was fun to be around and as she was to him, he was refreshing to her also. There was just something about him that made her want to be around him, to want to constantly look into his green eyes, listen to him being a smart ass back at her and let herself actually smile genuinely around him.

Dean's little outburst of 'screw it' did make her raise an eyebrow questionably wondering what he was saying it about, when she suddenly saw him lean in and kiss her so quickly she couldn't even get time to process what was happening. Her eyes remained open for a few moments as he kissed her heavily until all apprehension and shock vanished and her eyes closed and she kissed him back just as curiously, feeling him nip at her bottom lip as she forced herself not to let out a noise in reaction.

She willingly deepened the kiss back until he pulled away from her leaving her wanting the kiss to continue as she let the after feel of his lips on hers linger as she opened her eyes and out of natural reaction, gently placed her index finger on her lips as she looked at him as he apologised for making a move on her.

She shook her head lightly, then took her hands to hold his. "don't be sorry, please don't be sorry" she told him softly, knowing she was going to have to tread carefully if she was to be an adult about this and thoughtful, but truth was she wanted to throw caution to the wind with him. Even if she didn't have initial plans to be sticking round the bunker permanently. A plan that was easily going to be broken and thrown out if she kept letting herself crush on Dean Winchester.

"I'm not sorry" she told him, leaning in close, her lips millimeters away from his, her eyes on his eyes before she closed her own and pressed her lips against his once more.
Chas saw John wearing what he recognised as Kay's hoodie and Rose an eyebrow but said nothing just incase Renee overheard. Stepping to the side, he let them all in. "josh is in the living room, Trish is with Geraldine in Geraldine's room" he explained. "how was the drive?" he asked, "long" Kay smirked, making Chas roll his eyes. "it was fine, got stuck in traffic either side of the highway, but otherwise it was alright" she then replied with a serious answer.
MIKA CHAMBERS

Mika was expecting to be face to face with some kind of highly strung defensive rant by Dean, it was sadly what she was used to when either of them got possessive of each other, and it always ended up someone yelling at the other before storming off to cool down, so when he winced and then proceeded to verbally apologise it took her off guard for a brief moment. She let him speak, and she honestly could understand why he was being this possessive this time round. She wasn't expecting him to just move on and forget what happened the night before, hells, she couldn't even just forget about it no matter how hard she tried.

She wished so much that it never happened, she regretted it with every fibre of her core but she also knew no matter how ahrd she wished for it, it happened and nothing she could have done would have stopped it because it was out of her control. That didn't mean her guilt would eat away at her for quite a while to come, especially whilst Cason hung around and kept winding Dean up by talking to her. When he did finally look back at her whilst massaging her foot, she shook her head. "no you didnt" she confirmed, knowing how much it destroys him emotionally if he hurts her.

"Dean, I know you would never intentionally hurt me and I know you're sorry. I just really need you to remember that I love you and you alone. I don't want anyone but you and no one is going to sweep me away from you and if anyone tried they'd have me kicking and screaming in protest." she told him, giving him a soft smile in the hopes to reassure him. She didn't punch him and yell at him and Esme in heartache after grieving him for four months, just to let one moment of him dragging her away from Cason to ruin things.

She pulled her foot out of his hands to put it down on the ground, leaning forward she put her hand on his cheek, rubbing it with her thumb. Leaning forward more she placed a soft kiss on his lips before pulling back just enough to look him in the eyes. "Forever and Always yours, never forget." she reiterated, using the words she used to when they were younger to make her point more powerful. "if anything, I need you even more now. I'm useless without you" she smirked a bit.

"So lets promise each other we'll try and move forward from this and ignore any smartass remarks from Cason" she suggested to him.

SAM AND NATALIA WINCHESTER

Listening to what Cason was saying was something done with reluctance at first, but hearing what he knew did pique both Sam's and Natalia's interest. It did seem to be a plausible thing to happen with school kids, especially as it's halloween and by the sounds of it, it would be something that their suspect Tracey would be going to. As much as they didn't want to give Cason any credit for what he found, they had to admit it was another puzzle piece that seemed to fit with what they found out at the school.

"He's right Anna, raising someone like Samhain woudl take a lot, especially if it's deemed as one of the 66 seals." Sam explained to her, trying to ignore the fact Cason just basically asked not only Anna to be his 'date', but also Natalia. Luckily for him Anna seemed to snarl in disgust and Natalia rolled her eyes. "Don't look at me, I don't do plus ones" Nat chimed up, after witnessing with pride at Annabeth all but telling Cason where to shove it.

Like Annabeth, she and Sam both looked down at what they could only assume was Cason stroking a hellhound's head. The action making them remember how Esme had grown attached to the hellhound in Bobby's which they found rather unsettling if truth was to be told, but it wasn't their place to say anything, so they didn't when it came to that matter.

Nat looked across and saw that Dean's car was back, her mind snapping back to the situation at hand. "And we should head to Dean and Mika's room to discuss all this. As I'm presuming you won't have told them anything just to annoy Dean?" she commented, looking at Cason to show she entirely meant him in her last statement.

"Right, I have to admit I'm intrigued to know what they found out and to analyse the bones we found and the ones they found in that hex bag" Sam agreed, still glad that he managed to snag one from the furnace as he now could properly do a side by side check to see if they're the same ones and if there's yet another connection.

"I'll go ahead, you two can follow" Nat said, stepping forward, angling her body so she avoided bashing into Cason as she walked forward toward Dean and Mika's room, knocking on the door when she got there.
Kay sighed as John decided on an option that wasn't in her opinion, a great one. Following the two of them out of the car and to the front door, Kay removed her hoodie and placed it against John's chest. "just wear the hoodie, you don't need Renee any more suspicious of you than she already is and it can be washed at yours" she told him whilst they waited for the door to be answered.

She heard chatter from inside the house and heard the familiar heavy footsteps of Chas before he opened the door to the three of them. "hey guys, come in"he greeted, stepping to one side.
Kay let herself slump back in her seat for a moment before making an effort to et out of the car. She needed a breather from the many hours of driving. She looked at John realising that yes, he still had the blood splattered shirt on which needed to be covered properly, not just by his trenchcoat like he did at the services. "I don't know what we're gonna tell them, but I'm sure that talk can probably wait until we're back home. Or at least, I'm hoping so." she replied to Serena first.

"if you got a spare shirt in your bag in the trunk, then just change shirt in the car. Problem solved. Either that or you borrow this hoodie of mine as its so big on me, it'll fit you" she suggested to John. Sure her hoodie was worn and old, but it didn't look too awful in her eyes and even if it was beyond wear she still would have kept it on her at all times because it was one thing that helped keep her warm under her oversized biker jacket when homeless, thanks to a fellow homeless guy giving it to her one night.
