Like it was for John, the confirmation that their mysterious saviour was his and Kay's future kid was a massive mind blowing moment for his mind to compute. He made John sit back down on the couch and stayed close by. "You need to rest first, telling Kay can wait mate, she's probably resting herself and it wouldn't be right to disrupt that." he told him, he did agree that telling Kay needed to be done, but he also knew it was news that they needed to truly thik about how to break to her before telling her. It was also news that they needed to tell her when she was actually well and recovered from what she had just been through. He could only imagine how weak Fee was in her soul as well. "I don't know how she'll take it either but that's why we have to tread carefully with this news" he agreed.

Josh scratched the back of his head sheepishly as he smiled at her very kind words. "It was that or have Kay passed out somewhere trying to find him, and if I'm honest? THat woman kinda scares me sometimes" he chuckled. Kay's stubbornness that he witnessed at Renee's house was terrifying, even if it was kind of admirable that she would go to the brink of destruction to find John. Not to mention he still had it vividly in his mind how she just walked up to him and pretended to be his girlfriend in the hospital to help him find Trish again. She had a spunk about her that was utterly intimidating and terrifying. He found Serena mind blowing and quiet in comparison.

Many watched him with such a good poker face that it was difficult to tell if he was curious at John's reactions and actions, sympathetic or indifferent. "it's interfering John" he simply stated and yet again, as quickly as he arrived, he disappeared and let Chas have control of his body again. Chas gasped and looked around to refocus his bearings before sighing with annoyance. "I hate it when he does that" he complained before walking over to John and making him sit back down. "John I really wish you'd stay still sometimes" he told his mate. "but what did Manny say?" he asked.

Josh smiled at her words and pulled a facial expression that perfectly conveyed 'eh I try!' without having to say it, having this ability to naturally say so much with just a look. "I'm not gonna lie, I'm still questioning a lot of it but I'm taking it on the chin as they say, as much as I can and be there for you and Trish, as well as the others" he explained.

Many could tell that he was injured and if he was allowed he may have actually helped by healing him, but rules were rules and he was not to intervene by healing the human he was assigned to watching over. "timeline aren't as you say... Screwed up. I do sense a change in the time lines but but it is not of end of days level." he explained to him. "I know yes, but I cannot tell you for that would be interfering, you know this John" he then added straight after before John could reply to the first half of what he was saying. "but I am sure you know someone who could give you the answers you seek if you so desperately want them. I can however confirm your assumptions on who the being was is indeed who you think." he said again.

Josh smiled before he let the smile drop again when she mentioned about almost being sacrificed. "that'll take it out of anyone I'd imagine. But I'm proud of you for getting back and still doing everything you have since. It's absolutely amazing" he told her, placing his index finger and thumb under her chin to lift her head to look at him as he smiled to her and pecked her lips sweetly, then tucked some of her hair behind her ear with his free hand. "you're amazing Serena, truly... Amazing" he reiterated.

Chas sighed as he tried to sit up and then tried to stand up. "no, it can wait, you need to rest first and foremost and do you really think Manny will tell you anything? he never gets involved" he pointed out to him. "He's right you know" Manny suddenly said, standing where Chas was, showing he had taken over Chas yet again. "I can't get involved with human affairs John, I can only guide to a certain extent" he added.

Josh shook his head before kissing the top of her head, "you're not a mess, just mildly complicated" he teased, trying to make her laugh in his own unconventional manner. "But we're all like that for one reason or another, so I guess that makes you pretty normal" he smiled.

Supernatural - Hell On The Horizon

MIKA CHAMBERS, NATALIA AND SAM WINCHESTER

Mika knew she had to step in with reason when Dean gave Natalia the all too familiar gesture to say 'please don't' and she was glad that she did speak up as although it meant he glared at her, she knew deep down he couldn't argue with the logic and common sense of the plan. She also knew that Dean was only being like this because he cared about Natalia a lot more than he ever let on, and vise versa. She didn't particularly enjoy going with a decision that was against Dean's ideas and decisions, but sometimes she knew it was completely justified to do so.

So when he did finally back down and agree that the plan to have Nat and Anna go with Cason to one side of the graveyard, and them the other, she let the tension relax from her shoulders that she didn't even realise she was holding. She agreed though that if Cason so much as got a single strand of either of their hairs out of place, he had to suffer some kind of consequences, no matter who it was that dished it out. It was Anna's reply to Dean though that made her raise her eyebrows in surprise, having not expected such a cut and dry remark from the woman.

"Then it's settled" she commented, before smirking at Natalia asking Anna if she would be her date for the halloween party thinking how it so typical of Natalia to turn a serious and almost argumentative situation into something comical even for the briefest of moments. The fact that Annabeth could respond to it with ease made Mika see that the woman was going to truly fit in with their group just fine if she could give as good as she got. "Well I'd rather your date be my sister than Cason" Sam commented, shaking his head at how Natalia and Anna were being with each other.

"I'll look after her well big bro" Nat told Sam, giving him a playful punch in the arm that had no weight behind it in the slightest but that didn't stop Sam pretending that it hurt his bicep by giving it a rub and scrunching his face up. "I guess I'll head to my room and get ready, gotta get out of this dumb suit and into something more appropriate for a party. Gotta look good for my date" she smirked jokingly, giving Anna a wink as she headed to Dean's room door.

"Oh my god, stop!" Sam complained with a playful edge. He then looked at Dean and Mika, "Guess I'll do the same unless you need to discuss anything else? The bones we've both found are from what I can tell infant bones which just makes me cringe all the more...but unfortunately makes sense" he commented to his brother and Mika.

"Sick bastards, infant bones? That's just beyond wrong" Mika said with disgust as Nat slipped out of the room and headed to her own room, where she walked down a few doors, opened her door and got inside, locking the door behind her. The idea that some witch would think 'oh let's just burn an infant child for my spells' really did not sit well with Mika, the thought made her internally shudder with disgust.

Nat wasted no time in kicking her heels off, letting them fly across the ground as she walked to her bag to pull out some more comfortable clothing. "hmm...what to wear....ah who the hell am I kidding, I swear the same old shit every time" she commented to herself as she pulled out a pair of her bootcut jeans, a tshirt and overshirt.

Chas shrugged his shoulders as he couldn't give John an answer, no matter how much he wanted to. "I wish I could give an answer mate... I'm still trying to compute the very ides that you become a father in the future" he replied. "I can only imagine it had to be the catalyst for something bigger..it had to be an important moment in time if she felt the need to come back here and risk ruining a timeline" he added, as he realised this was now yet another thing they had to add to the list of mysteries and problems they had already piling up.

"and that's exactly what you've done" Josh said with emphasis to show her that he really mesnt his words to her and he wasn't just lying to her to try and make her feel better. "I'm more than certain that Kay and John appreciate it more than they'd be able to convey to you."he added to her, letting her cuddle into him all she needs to.

Chas didn't know how to react to that guess, but he had to admit it did make some kind of sense. Yet it shocked him greatly, "like..like a kid or something? Bloody hell" he replied, trying to compute what they were coming to the realisation, or at least, educated guess of. It was a lot to take in and neither John or Kay seemed the parent type, but he had to admit from very little he and Bane saw of this figure, they did seem to be much younger than any of their group.

He grabbed the note when it was safe to do so and read the hand written message for himself, focusing completely on the wording used. As he read it, he fou d he had to perch on the coffee table as it all sunk in. "we won't meet for a while.... I'm proof of yours and Kay's lives get hope and better... Hmm the wording definitely seems to fit as a kid on the horizon...and why their aura felt familiar but still strange" he commented.

Josh instantly pulled her into his arms properly and hugged her protectively. "you're not a monster. You are far far from a monster. I get the feeling that in John's world this kind of grey area comes around a lot. Chas told me today that before you and Kay showed up he mostly always walks this path and world alone. He's only really had one other person recently join him before she disappeared... Went on her own path. I'm guessing this is why, because this life has a tendacy to make people do things they wouldn't normally do" he said to her. "but you aren't a monster Serena, I promise" he said to her honestly, seei g no point in sugar coating it.

Slowly but surely, the colour started to come back to Kay's face as Bane's power helped Fee to recover quicker and keep Kay calm at the same time. Her breathing went from ragged and quick from her sleep panic to a slow and steady regulated pace. Fee subconsciously soon let the link stop between them as Kay continued to sleep a lot more calmly.

Chas nodded in understanding at John's instructions. He wasn't as versed in this whole magic stuff as John was but at least he could do something like this easily enough. He grabbed some chalk and began copying it to the best of his abilities. He put the note in the middle of it and looked at the Latin in the book, going through the pronunciations in his head first then he began saying them out loud. The incantation made the seal begin to glow and the note to flutter in reaction to it, before the protective seal flowed above the note and then swirl around it, as it then split into two orbs, one floating towards John's bond to Kay, and one continued on toward the bedrooms. Chas followed it as he saw it go into the bedroom Kay was in and to Kay's bond. Hovering over it it then shot upward and disappeared into the air above her, as did the one that went to John.

"what the...?" he whispered to himself in confusion. He didn't even stop to see if Bane would question what it was, just rushing back to John, "the other orb... It went to Kay's bond like the other one went to yours" he told John.

Josh listened to everything Serena was telling her, his heart sank hearing it but he didn't hold it against her in the slightest, nor did he think of her any differently. "you did what you had to to save Kay. He would have killed her by the sounds of it if it wasn't for you and John. If..if you had let him live he only would have followed you until he got Kay. And if I was in your shoes and it was a case of keeping Kay alive or that psycho? I'd have picked Kay every single time" he explained to her.

Before the orb arrived in the bedroom where Kay and Fee were struggling in their slumber, Fee heard Bane's voice pierce through her sleep and with the permission granted, she sought his energy, subconsciously creating a link between them so she could source energy to help her regain her strength and Kay's. The flow of energy was like a kick of caffeine coursing through her veins when it dimmed as the orb came into the room and swirled round Kay's bond, making it glimmer then shooting up into the air and disappear.

Satisfied that John took the medication, Chas opened the book and flipped to the right place in the book, finding the seal he was hinting to. He turned the book over, "this the one?" he asked, wanting to make sure it was the right one, even though he was confident it was. He picked up the note again ready to do what was needed, seeing how John was struggling to stay awake which he couldn't blame him for.

Serena's question made Josh grab her hands and run his thumb back and forth over the backs of her hands. "you are not a freak. You are incredibly gifted, powerful and loyal to those you care about. Not to mention you're beautiful not just inside but out as well" he told her, smiling and giving her a little playful wink.

Kay kept whimpering for a bit until what Bane was doing began to calm her a little, her hand gripping onto Bane and pulling it into her as if it was John's hand, her unconscious sleeping self not realising what she was doing or who it really was. There was a sense of fragility and borderline childlike naivety to the action. The attack having made more of a impact on her than she had previously let on, not to mention it made more of an impact on Fee than they ever knew.
