Chas gave a nod and shrug, "you got a point there....it's not exactly the most normal conversation to have after breakfast" he replied, "I'm sure you'll figure it out somehow" he added.

Kay managed to get herself some breakfast from what Chas was preparing and poured herself some of the coffee that had been brewing. She was completely oblivious to the conversation the men were having in the other room and blissfully so. She hummed to herself as she got what she wanted then walked to the living room again and sat down on the solo chair to eat.

Josh smiled as he listened to her but the smile quickly faded and turned into an expression of concern when he saw her sway on her feet. "what's wrong?" he asked worried, going to her side and helping to keep her upright.
"so so if I'm honest...better once Bane did some kind of sleep mojo on me" she said truthfully, seeing no point in lying to John about how she slept. After what she went through and witnessed it would have been a miracle if she had slept perfectly well throughout the whole night. She walked over to him, perching on the edge of the back of the couch as she did so. "but I'm so glad that you'll be okay" she told him. "Kay, I started some kind of breakfast in the kitchen and coffee if you want it" Chas spoke up, interrupting hers and John's chat guiltily but did it anyway.

"thanks, I definitely could do with both" Kay replied, and as if on cue, she yawned, making her cover her mouth as she did so. "I'm gonna go get something, be right back" she told them, leaning across kissing John's temples without even thinking then headed to the kitchen. Chas looked at John, "when are you gonna tell her?" he asked quietly.

Josh chuckled softly and warmly at her comment, but not as if it was something amusing, more to so as a 'I'm not surprised' kind of way. "not surprising. Well, if you want help let me know. Guess I should go wake up the Trish gremlin" he smirked, chuckling again.
Lexi couldn't help but smile at his reply about coffee will make everything right again. It was such an almost childish attitude and response but there was something endearing about it. She saw him pause at the door and she would have been lying to herself if she said she wasn't curious to what he was thinking about. Was he debating just coming back to her and having another makeout session? Was he debating apologising about even kissing her again and wanting to tell her it was a mistake and they shouldn't have done it? She didn't know but when he continued to open the door and exit, all ponderings left her mind.

She started to focus on finishing getting herself into a decent manner when Dean's yelping and scolding of Sam made her look up toward the door and hallway. Smirking at the scolding, she went back to her bag where she pulled out her travel hairdryer that she always kept on her as she hated the motel hairdryers, swearing they were about as useful as a chocolate teapot. It took her a few moments before she found a decently placed socket and started drying her hair as much as possible.

Sam smirked sleepily at Dean's yelping, even if he was being moaned at for scaring the crap out of his brother, he found it amusing nonetheless. It was more amusing how his brother was awkwardly fumbling with his words and trying to avoid some topic that Sam didn't even bring up. He almost revelled in Dean rambling awkwardly as he mentioned Lexi and how he brushed passed him to try and stop the topic from being continued.

He followed Dean into the war room and then the kitchen after letting Dean have a head start. He even pondered whether to check in on Lexi first but when he heard a hairdryer going on, he decided that following his brother to the kitchen for breakfast was the better choice to make. He barely heard his brother mumble to himself, but saw he clearly was. "not seen you mumble to yourself in a long time" he pointed out as he went to the fridge to grab the orange juice from it.

When Lexi's hair was a good 85% dry and she was satisfied that it wouldn't drop water everywhere, she unplugged the hairdryer and put it in her bag. She got her boots on out of habit and with the mindset she would help either brother do the supply run, as to her, it was one of the easiest things she could to help as a thanks for letting her hang out in the bunker for a while. "okay Lexi, you're gonna go out there, act like everything is normal...like you didn't just kiss Dean fricking Winchester." she muttered to herself.

"he's just Sam's brother. That's all" she muttered again and exhaled before looking upward. "Nate I really hope you're okay with me liking Dean. I will always love you, know that. But I can't be lonely all my life" she told the air as if his spirit could hear her from wherever he went. She would never stop feeling guilty for his death, but she also knew she couldn't let that guilt hold her back anymore.

With another exhale, she turned to the door and exited the room, heading straight for the kitchen, only getting lost once in the process. "morning Sam" she smiled when she got to them both. "morning Lexi, you sleep alright?" Sam asked back, "yeah, the beds here are surprisingly comfortable" she smirked.
"yeah you are for once" Chas smirked. "can't have Kay healing you all the time" he joked as he hesrd footsteps coming closer and Kay entered the room. "speak of the devil" he playfully said, making Kay look at him with a raised eyebrow before seeing John being slow and careful. "how you feeling?" she asked John, deciding not to ask why they were talking about her and just focus on John's well being instead.

Josh chuckled, "am I gonna have to carry you to the bathroom to make you take a shower?" he asked her playfully, making her look at him as he smiled at her. "I don't know whose worse at getting up to shower, you or Trish" he laughed.
Chas gave a single nod, "I know you didn't. You're not used to having more people around that actually give a damn about you and so you did what you're used to doing when it's just you. That's gonna be a habit that's hard to break because you've done it out of survival for so long and if there's anyone in this place that quite literally understand that it's the girls. Especially Kay. No one is holding what happened against you" he explained.

Josh smiled and nodded, "makes sense. I guess it's partly down to your connection and link to each other as well? Not just knowing each other so well?" he queried and guessed, thinking their magical link to each other had to have something to do with it as well. "think I heard someone exit the shower just now, you wanna go in next?" he asked.

In her room, Kay grabbed a pair of the thick leggings and another tshirt out of the new lot that was bought for her and got dressed, finding comfort in the new clothing and the soft fabrics that enveloped her body. She briefly sat down on the edge of the bed and sniffed the clothing, sighing with content as she took in the fact she didn't have to live in the same three things she had been for all this time. "guess I should get some food..." she mumbled to herself after a few moments, getting up and walking to the main room, hair still wet but drying quick enough.
Lexi smiled softly when he said he could relate to what she was saying. The fact that they had somehow bonded so effortlessly from their lonliness said many things to her. She knew for a lot of people bonding out of trauma or lonliness didn't always end up working out, but then she also knew most of those people weren't doing their kind of job and experienced those things as much as they did. Dean's presence around her made her feel like she could be someone again, made her realise that maybe, just maybe, letting someone in again wouldn't be an absolutely awful idea.

Feeling the touch on her cheek by his hand made her realise how much she missed that kind of touch. It made her feel like she was someone again, someone was worth more than just hunting. "I understand, I don't want things to be weird between us either." she replied to him, as she felt him brush his lips against hers, the very light touch making it difficult to not smash her lips onto his all over again.

As he lowered their hands to his lap, she let her eyes follow the action and direction as she listened to him say about not needing to be shy around each other. The very thought that they started off as such and now were unable to get enough of each other's kisses made her chuckle softly. "I guess not" she smiled, looking up at him once more. It was almost a relief to her that they just acted like grown ups and did something about the unspoken flirting that was happening between them. The memories of the day before and them being squished together in the armoury kept the smile on her face.

For some reason to her, the fa t they barely knew each other just didn't seem to matter to her. When he was smiling and chuckling, it seemed to reignite that fluttery spark in her heart all over again. A notion that she thought was long gone from ever being felt again. The idea of sneaking around the bunker trying to hide from Sam made her feel like a teenager but it wasn't an unwelcome feeling at all, infact it was the very opposite for her. Yet at the same time it was nice to meet someone who was respectful of boundaries and not wanting to push things to a breaking point before whatever this was between them even truly blossomed.

"r-right, yeah....of course" she replied, snapping out of her own thoughts as he stood up from her bed. She had expected to see him just exit her room without another word, so when he leaned over and brushed her hair back so he press a firm kiss on her forehead, she closed her eyes to savour the welcome and familiar sign of affection. Something she greatly missed feeling from her fiancée.

Opening her eyes again, she looked up at him, "thanks" she replied, "sorry for uhh..initially freaking you out over my cursing" she chuckled softly and sheepishly.

Sam eventually decided to exit his bedroom and head down the hall so he could get to the kitchen to get some breakfast. He was starving and really needing some coffee as there was no way he was going for his run this morning after the hunt the night before. Yawning, he tucked his hair behind his ear as a messy rogue strand was determined to get in his face.

He heard a bit of talking and recognised the voices as Lexi and Dean, surprised that he could hear Dean up and about already. "huh..well that's something" he mumbled to himself as he headed down the hall getting closer to where Lexi's bedroom was. When he did eventually catch sight of his brother, he looked at him, "morning...everything good?" he greeted.
Chas sighed and looked at him, "it could have been worse to be fair. But she was terrified of losing you last night. The shock and fear is what made her pass out" he explained to him. "but Bane took care of her." he added.

Josh looked at her with amazement. "it's so fascinating and amazing to me how you can just know that without him telling you" he told her honestly. "it baffles me how it's possible, but amazes me nonetheless" he added.

Kay hummed to herself in the shower as she washed and freshened up in general, making the most of feeling hot water wash over her. She noticed now the bruising and markings from the rope friction on her wrists had started to fade which she was relieved about. After a good ten minutes or so, she finally turned the shower of and steppe dout, wrapping a towel around her as she walked back to her room to get dressed.
"take it easy John, don't want you undoing everything Serena did last night" Chas replied to him, making a brief glance toward the sound of the shower going on. "seems someone is awake" he smirked.

"I got up at one point to make sure Trish was alright and actually asleep, then came back. Seems at some point Bane made it in here as well" he told her, noticing Bane's wolf form at the end of the bed on the floor.
Chas smiled at his words, "you should seen the way she used magic. Thinking back on it, it was so much like you. Very showy" he smirked and chuckled. "has a thing for flowy dramatic items of clothing like you as well" he added jokingly.

In the bathroom, Kay made the most of the opportunity to take a shower and the hot water whilst she was up and assumed no one else as she couldn't hear anyone else. She was utterly oblivious that Chas and John were awake downstairs talking about a daughter she never knew she would have.

Josh stirred awake at Serena's waking and shuffling, kissing the top of her head. "morning" he said sleepily.
"they said something along those lines to me and Bane. Tried to make us take them to the girls, but we didn't get any information out of them until your future daughter came in got rid of them" Chas explained. "I've been thinking throughout the night about this kid of yours... I keep wondering if we'll see her again or not" he commented. "and how the hell we're gonna explain this to Kay" he added.

Kay eventually succumbed to the fact she couldn't fall back asleep, so she caved and decided to get up. With a sigh she sat up and swung her legs out of the bed and stood up. Rubbing her eyes, she then walked to the bathroom, her bare feet making little quiet Potter patter noises on his floor boards.
