Sorry for delay in replying, I've been utterly distracted lately
Chas thought about Bane was telling them when he came up with an idea, "I think I got something in the cab that will work" he said, rushing to the cab that as very close by, opening the trunk, convinced he had something in there. Whilst he was there Josh stayed Serena, waiting for Chas when he had an idea. He kept his hands on her arms, "don't kill me" he told her in a way asking for an apology before he even did anything and when he finished he leaned in and kissed Serena, hoping the shock of having him kiss her out of the blue would be enough.

Kay was listening to Trish was saying when her sudden pausing of her talking and looking toward the door confused her. "Josh and Chas are with her, I'm sure they have everything under control" Kay said in an attempt to reassure Trish.
Having Bane confirm that Serena wasn't being herself right now made Chas kick the gravel floor and sigh as he cursed under his breath. He then walked over and stood beside Josh and I front of Serena. "Serena you need to snap out of this! Come on girl, deep breaths and snap out of this. We do not need you going nuclear on us now" he said to her sternly but concern was in his voice, feeling glad it wasn't John here witnessing this right now, k owing how blunt he could be at times.

Kay nodded and have her a smile, "I sure hope so kiddo, I sure hope so." she said to her then ealised how that didn't sound all too reassuring. "I can't see why he wouldn't be. The meds would have started properly kicking in by now and if he still is struggling I'll heal him whether he agrees or not" she told her.
"well all you can do is talk with John about it when they get back before talking with John. I know you don't want to feel like a burden to your brother and you don't like how much he's given up, but that's what siblings do kiddo. They look out for each other and drop everything for each other. Even if the receiving sibling doesn't always like it" she explained to her, checking the time and seeing it was nearly time for taking the brownies out. "five more minutes a d we can take them out, then leave them to stand for a bit" she then said chs going the subject.

Josh and Chas got extremely concerned about how Serena was reacting to the information about papa midnite and both glanced at each other, unsure of what to do. Her skin was getting so cold it was getting more and more difficult for Josh to cold onto her. "Serena we need you to calm down... You're scaring the crap out of me for a start but you're changing" Josh told her, trying to keep his worry and slight fear out of his voice, but wasn't sure if he was succeeding too well.
Trish's words made Kay smile because she did honestly feel she could understand where Trish was coming from. "I know what you mean kiddo. It's how I feel about this place as well. I don't think I'll ever be able to thank John enough for taking me in when I really needed it. Squatting in abandoned buildings or in alleyways was getting real hard to deal with. Not to mention crazily cold and risky" she told her as she grabbed a drink and sipped it.

Chas sighed as Josh tried to keep Serena calm by rubbing her shoulders. "Midnite deals in cursed objects and just scamming people out of their money by using his voodoo abilities. He's a con man if no one stands in his way. You HAVE to keep away from him Serena. You won't be letting anyone get hurt by continuing on with your life as if you didn't learn of his existence." Chas explained. "so I'm pulling rank here and taking you and josh back to the millhouse and I'm not taking any backchat from you about it" he added.
Kay looked at Trish when she asked the question she did, before choosing her words to speak up, "its not my place to give you that answer Trish, this is John's place after all. But I'm sure if you ask John when he's better you'll have an answer. He took in me and Serena after all, so maybe there's room for you and Josh as well. It's clear this millhouse is more than just a millhouse. For all we both know it could create rooms" she smiled, chuckling at the end comment of hers.

Both Josh and Chas flinched in surprise at Serena punching the wall when they got outside, both knowing that she would have broken some bones in her hand. "Serena... Don't ever say you're not important because you are. I know you hate this, but unfortunately it seems this world of yours has these troubles" Josh told her, taking her hand to check it. "Josh is right, no one said this was going to be easy. This is why John was walked this path alone for the most part and usually does all he can to drive people away. But I can tell you right now, if you had shown what you were in there, he would have sold you on the black market in the downworld before you can say Kay's name. As I said before we got here, he's not to be trusted when it comes to that side of things, but he is when it's information involved. As for Papa Midnige, I'm not having you go near him. He's too strong, even for John sometimes." Chas began explaining.

"I need you to promise me you won't do anything reckless when it comes to this guy and we need to get you back to the millhouse to see to your hand" he added, practically giving her pleading look.
No worries!
Kay thought about what Trish was theorising and shrugged, "I guess anything is possible really" she replied, "it makes me also wonder just what my future kid is fully capable of. I can only imagine what it must have been like for Chas and Bane to witness it in action" she added.

"I think it's time we should go" Chas suggested to Josh and Serena, to which Josh nodded in agreement. "I think you're right" Josh agreed. "What about compensating me for my information?" the keeper asked Chas, "consider it your pay back for what you owe John" Chas replied back, shoeing strictly in his tone that he wasn't going to be accepting any other response other than 'okay'. The keeper got the hint and just nodded, "fine.." he replied, letting them all leave.
"I do, it certainly alluded to that Trish, which means our families remain strong together hopefully if the kids were seen together in that vision" Kay replied to her as she let her put the chocolate chips in the batter. "It also means that Josh and Serena were cleverly mesnt to meet and be one" she added, "or that's what my sister Sam would say anyway" she smiled with a soft chuckle, thinking about what a hopeless romantic Sam always was and seemed to still be. With the chips put in, she grabbed the tray and walked to the oven where she opened the door and put the tray in, closing the door and leaning against the counter.

Josh noticed her eyes glowing and instantly placed his hand on top of hers, squeezed it gently then wrapped an arm round her, "your eyes are glowing" he whispered into her ear as Chas listened to what she was saying, "no one can seem to kill Papa Midnite, it's best we don't confront him in a fight. Trust me, he almost killed John numerous times, he's not to be messed with" Chas explained back. "Chas is right lady, no one messes with that man. He's high up in the Downworld. You'd be beat to listen to Chas" the keeper chimed in. "if papa Midnite is involved in whatever you guys and John is? Then Midnite is pulling the strings" he added.
As Dean rattled off a few things of what they needed, Lexi listened, smirking slightly at the end of the list as he wasn't exactly wrong in his assumption. She remembered that she ate enough of his snacks last night before falling asleep sometime half way through the film. She was determined this time round not to do that again, especially as it was proving there was attraction between them both and neither were capable of easily keeping theirs hands or lips off of each other. "you got a point there" she replied in amusement as he grabbed the whiskey off the top shelf for himself, and noted how the cashier was completely and utterly sizing her up and probably wondering who the hell she was to be with Dean.

Instead of saying anything, like Mika once would have done, Lexi ignored it. She knew being an unknown face in a small town would create side glances and such, she was all too used to it. So it never bothered her unless some smart ass remark was ever said to her to make her stand up for herself. She listened as Dean suggested getting stuff for herself for the shower room, laughing at him implying Sam's stuff was feminine. "you might have a point, I am getting low on those kinds of supplies actually and I respect Sam just enough to not use his supplies" she said back with a smile.

Feeling his hand on her lower back, she let him guide her round, knowing out of the two of them, he was the one to know where things were. As they reached the aisle, she found some of her favourite snacks, grabbing them and putting them in the small trolley she was pushing along. Snacks involved bags of popcorn and the big sharing bags of m&ms, along with potato chips-salt and vinegar flavour and then some general chocolate.

She wanted to strike up another conversation with him but she didn't know what to say as they moved through the store, collecting what they needed as they went. As they walked round, she caught a glimpse of the one deodorant her beloved and departed Nate would always use which made her mind flash her a memory of him walking out their old en suite bathroom spraying it as he did so. She didn't even realise she had slowed down walking as she had the memory until she was shaking herself out of it mentally.

Leaving the store with Anya, Sam noticed how she was scribbling on the notepad instantly to talk with him. He found it quite the skill that she had honed, being able to walk in the street and write on a pad at the same time. He knew if it was him doing that, or more accurately, Dean doing it they would have walked either into some poor stranger or a lamp post. With it being shown to him when she was done scribbling, he smiled, "don't worry about it. I can understand why you would have gotten frustrated in there. I don't think you're aggressive." he reassured her.

He knew situations like that could be frustrating for anyone, so he could easily see how much worse it must be for someone like Anya who was either deaf or like in her case, mute. Reaching the coffee shop, he out stretched his arm and grabbed the door, letting her step inside first before he followed her in and over to a table with her. With the barista at their table quickly after they sat down, he let Anya write down her order first before he ordered his standard black coffee.

He saw how she was clearly studying his face, something he wasn't so uncomfortable with due to her situation. He couldn't help but look at her back, unable to not compare in his head at how much she looked fresh faced in comparison to himself, or any hunter he knew of for that matter. At the question written down, he couldn't stop the small smile that crept at the corner of his mouth as he glanced down at the table before back up at her. "a bit of both... I guess. A few months ago I lost a family member, someone who was basically my sister in law...hit me and my brother pretty hard." he began saying, feeling that he didn't have to say the exact reason of Mika's death, but saw no harm in mentioning it.

"I guess for the other thing, it's not been the easiest life I've had, living on the road for a long time, getting by" he added, finding he was attempting some sign on certain words as he spoke to her. "what about you? What brings you to this town?" he asked her curiously, but he tried to make it clear that he hoped he wasn't asking something too personal.
