That's good. And has your dad gotten better?

Loads. He’s actually surprise me, as of late.
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>

Just wondering. I know you have a complicated relationship with your parents.

It was, once upon a time. But even then, not ever really with Mom.
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>

Do you see your mom all that often?

All the time, why?
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>

*Laughs*
You look much better than your dad, if that helps.

*Laughs as well*
I’d sure hope you thought so!
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>

I can't imagine that whatever genetic differences there are possibly have that big of an effect.

They probably don’t. But at the very least, we don’t look too much alike. Mom always said Violet looked more like her sister than herself. I take after Dad, if it wasn’t obvious.

What I think I've learned is that you all start off similar, but as you grow you become something more than just the sum of your DNA. That all these experiences let you continuously change and morph.

That’s pretty accurate. Environment and experience play a role maybe even larger than genetics.

I think a lot about how different humans are. You have less than a gigabyte of code that represents the entirety of who you are, but you're all so different.

Is that so? Chalk it up to breadth of variation, then.
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>

Is it that large? That's pretty incredible when you think about it.

Have you say down and thought about how different Violet and I actually are? I’d agree with you there, but despite all the differences, she’s still my lil’ sis.
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>

I guess that's not very meaningful for you?

It’s just that small percent genetic difference makes a massive actual personal difference, is all.
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>

From a DNA perspective, it's in the high nineties, isn't it?

Ehrm, when you look at it like that, I guess it’s true.
