It can't hurt to check, so long as we can find it.

I’ve got methods for that sort of thing. Don’t worry. Might even do it on my own time.
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>

What do you think is up there?

I dunno, but it’s not nothing. Just have to figure out whether it’s anything useful.
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>

That makes it easy, then? Unless you're wanting to go to the real-world asteroid.

Yes, I do.
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>

Okay, so if we have a backup of the server, do we have to go back?

Not into the server no.
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>

Did you guys figure anything else out in the meantime that I wasn't able to see?

Uh.
*Taps my chin and runs back through the events in my head*
Nnno. We haven’t. But we do have a backup of the server just in case. Just as we left it.
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>

Hopefully we can fix her and get answers before we have to go back up there.

That would be ideal, for sure.

What I'm saying is that we don't know the satellite doesn't house its own equipment.

Right but even it on its own isn’t useless. Maybe.
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>

What do you mean?

Even if all that’s there is the satellite thing, we could potentially get information on the hardware to trace a source. Or maybe other locations it gets communications from.
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>

It was an alien-looking environment, and so slow. I don't know why we'd have to bounce all the way out there and then all the way back to talk to the server.

Even if the server itself isn't, something is.
<Snipped quote by GalaxyRaider>

I'm not confident the server was on the planet.

Why's that?
