"If he gets out then we get him back in. Sure he changed, but it's still Viral, we can handle him." Unless the guy experienced an absolutely absurd spike in power they should be okay. It was more the sharp claws and fangs that worried Takeshi rather than his raw strength. Shu didn't seem terribly fond of going in there, it was probably rekindling some fear he had of big jungle cats back home. Exposing him to Viral now would probably not be the best of moves. If they were to help then they would have to do it from out here, keeping well out of Viral's view and hopefully not be antagonizing him. Sighing softly the Saiyan sat down along the wall, crossing his legs and folding his arms over his chest. So they were just going sit here, because for the life of him he had no clue what they were going to do. "You need to believe they're going to be okay Shu, honestly. It's not like it's just anyone that is going to go inside. Viral had never attacked them before, right? So I doubt he'll start now."

Viral wasn't going anywhere, part of him had to have realized that by now. No matter how much he tried to claw his way out all he was doing was scraping up the walls. Yumi was doing her best to keep him where he was, long enough so Vegeta could do his part anyways. She had managed to bring him down from the wall and now he was coming over, in a moderately threatening way too. Smiling nervously she held her ground, For a brief instance she could have sworn there was a flash of recognition, like Viral had realized who she was. Or maybe she was just being optimistic, there very well may have not been anything at all. She liked to think so as the Beastman sat down before her, no longer seeming like he was willing to eat her face off. Yumi looked back at Vegeta once more before stepping forward, reaching out to stroke Viral's neck and back in the most soothing way she could muster. Being smaller than him by a bit now she couldn't quite look him in the eye, so instead she nestled her head just below his, giving him a small nudge. "Viral, I know you can hear me, somewhere in there. You're not in danger, and you're not in trouble. Vegeta and I are here to help, understand?" Lifting her head she moved a hand to his muzzle, gently trying to get him to look down at her. "Can you change back?"

"Music might soothe the savage beast... But I doubt words will..." Vegeta mumbled, shaking his head. It may be keeping Viral under wraps but it wasn't a solution. Looking at the Beastman for a good moment he furrowed his brow together, starting at last to get some pieces of what he thought was the answer. What did they know? Viral had come down here and apparently had a lot of food with him, he had been hungry. While he wasn't willing to eat normally this form was all too happy to, and did so in gusto. The more he seemed to eat as well the more this side came out, suggesting perhaps he needed to be properly fed to initiate and maintain this form. Okay, so that may be what caused it, but how to undo it? If nutrition was the start then the opposite should be the key to stopping it. They wouldn't go as far as malnutrition, but making him hungry by having him wait a while should do the trick. "Yumi? We need to keep him in here as long as we can. I think once his body can't maintain that form any longer he'll change back on his own." He wished there was a more elaborate plan to this, but without knowing the exact details of the transformation he couldn't offer any more advice.
Viral was getting too unpredictable, this wasn't good. He seemed quite defensive in spite of being in no real danger, and he hardly looked to recognize even Yumi any longer. If he had any bit of mental capacity for what was going on before it had vanished at this point it seemed. If that was the case then he was more animal than man at this point, reasoning him would be a waste of breath. Unless they could find out what had triggered the change and reverse it he was going to have to remain locked up in the room for now, not an ideal scenario. Worried when Yumi approached the Beastman he very nearly jumped in when Viral sprang away, thinking for a brief moment there might be an attack. Instead the snow white feline latched onto the wall, to what end he wasn't sure. If he couldn't get through the doors then the walls were even a harder obstacle, they were about three meters thick each. Still his claws did manage to pierce the outer layer of steel, a testament to just how sharp and strong his claws were. If allowed out of this room he could cause some very grievous wounds with those, or worse. Viral had to remain in this room until he calmed down, there was no helping it. The question then was did they remain here as well to try and help him cope, or leave and hope he would burn out?

Vegeta was very good at fixing things, that was why Takeshi put so much stock in their friend. Even if he was unfamiliar with it most of the time the guy had a way of solving problems. Heck, he'd managed to set up a space-relay on a planet that was totally isolated so they could talk to their prince several light-years away, that was pretty darn ingenious. A guy that could do that surely could help his friend come down from a sort of primal high. "I don't even want to think about what would have happened if we hadn't found him... Someone could have gotten hurt." And there were plenty of people on board the ship who wouldn't think twice about attacking Viral to defend themselves, and that could only end badly for them. Whenever he changed the Beastman had some serious power, and Takeshi was sure this form wasn't any different. Looking back at the control panel he placed a hand on the casing, biting his lip as he debated on chancing a combination to get inside. Maybe if they got in they could all restrain him and figure something out. As it was he could hear the claws scraping against the wall, meaning Viral was very much on the move and dangerous. "Shu...? What do you think, should we go in?" he asked, glancing over at his sibling. "Figure they need help?"

"Viral, we're not going to hurt you!" Yumi called, watching as their friend darted over to a far wall. If slow and gentle approaches didn't cut it then how were they supposed to get to him? Vegeta was still at a total loss as well, not offering any words of advice whatsoever. By now Viral was more or less an animal, there seemed to be very little reasoning going on with him. Talking to him or trying to comfort him probably wouldn't cut it any longer, leaving Yumi well at the end of her rope. Sighing softly she glanced back at the door, wondering if they should leave and let him burn himself out. It wasn't a very nice way to go about it, but this form had to take energy to maintain, all transformations did as she understood them. So even with a belly full of food sooner or later he would run out and revert back to himself. Then they could keep a careful eye on him, make sure this didn't happen again. So long as they could get back to Earth without incident everything would turn out fine. Even if it might be a bad idea she couldn't keep herself from trying one last time, quite wanting to help out. Yumi walked towards Viral again, holding her arms out to the side and smiling sweetly at him. "Come on, just relax and come over here. Vegeta and I are going to help you, Viral. We'll help you get back to normal."
Suto wasn't sure why his room ad suddenly became a conference room, but people began to pour in. Not that he minded terribly, it was nice having guests, but some forewarning would have been nice. One nice thing about the game is it was easy to change, which was good because he was still dressed up in his pajama when Nero had come knocking. Promptly he changed into his armor, which over the last few days had changed a little bit. In place of his simple padded leather jacket he now wore a golden cyclas, thick padding around the shoulders and around the waist with a black belt tying it together. He had on a set of leather trousers which also had light padding, affording him a bit of extra protection which was handy due to being lightly armored. He wore a thin pair of black woolen gloves, and a set of boots that matched. It was all lightweight gear and fairly comfortable, even in this virtual world. Taking a seat by the window he let others use his bed to relax, watching everyone come in one by one. Nero and this other guy had him very curious, he recognized their armor right away. Only just having learned of Nero's joining he wasn't quite sure why they had come to pay him a visit, or why everyone else was being asked to come as well. Exchanging a smile with Luna as she entered he crossed his arms over his chest, waiting for someone to begin speaking.

Whoever this last person was supposed to be it wasn't Fitch. Seeing him here of all places surprised his friends, both Suto and Luna were properly happy that he had come however. He seemed to be so distant as of late, anytime he was around too he was detached and quiet. Smiling in Fitch's direction he was a tad disappointed when the other boy just sat down, not really paying Suto any mind. Ah well... Knowing he was okay was good anyways, he had been worrying since his friend had left earlier. Now perhaps they could get on with whatever this meeting was supposed to be about, which the sooner they did the better. Again he didn't mind the company persay, but his personal room was just that, not a gathering hall. Before they could even begin any discussions two more people arrived, both of which Suto instantly recognized. One was that information broker, he couldn't recall her name, and the other was Kimigami, the young girl from before. It was nice to see she was doing fine as well, though he was curious why she was playing escort. And why she and Fitch started barking at one another suddenly. A quick and loud yell from Kazaro silenced them however, and at last Nero seemed prepared to speak.

Of all the things that could be said, an invitation to join the Knights of the Blood Oath was not what Suto had expected. They were a big name guild after all, perhaps THE big name guild. Everyone knew who they were, from regular players to PKers and even the people still back in Town of Beginnings. Their name was synonymous with Clearers and they called some of the greatest players in the game amongst their ranks. So to have a personal invitation from their Commander was no small honor, and it was one that Suto knew would be insane to reject. He had only just been telling himself to do more before this had happened, and now this opportunity had literally walked through his door. There was a wide smile on his face at the moment, he could hardly believe his fortune. And yet for all of his elation it was bittersweet, there was something wrong with it. Recounting all of the names that had been listed he realized that Fitch had not been among them. That didn't seem right, how could that even be remotely right? Fitch was among the best players without question, and he was a good friend. To exclude him from their ranks just seemed like a huge mistake. Getting up to say something over the matter Suto instead looked at Fitch as he too rose, getting a very brief few words before leaving. So that was that then? Much as he wanted to accept he couldn't just leave it be like that, it wasn't proper.

"Uh.. Excuse me for a moment." No way was he going to say yes without arguing Fitch's case. if the rest of them could join then he should be able to as well, that was only fair. When he left the room he didn't see his friend, so Suto hurried downstairs and then outside of the building. When he emerged he just found Fitch closing his menus. "Fitch! Hey, wait a minute!" he called, running over to his friend. The guy seemed pretty bummed, over what he assumed was not being counted among the potential recruits. With a hopeful smile then he pointed over his shoulder back towards the inn, trying to relay what he was thinking. "I'm sure they would let you join if you want. It's about time we get serious and join a guild anyways, right? Come back with me and we'll chat with Nero and Kazaro, I know they'll be happy to let you in." They were like one big package after all, their group. Either you took them all or none at all. Much as Suto did want to become a member he wouldn't do so if everyone wasn't given the same chance. And considering they were being asked personally it meant they were wanted, so he figured that gave them a little leeway with convincing the others. Worried over Fitch leaving again Suto walked around him, putting his hands up with a smile. "Or, you know... If you don't want to join them we can always form our own! Huh? Just us and our friends, that's more than enough to make a guild. What do you think about that?"

Wow... This was unexpected. To be asked to join the Knights of the Blood Oath, not something Luna had seen coming. To count herself in their ranks would be a massive step forward in terms of notoriety and resources. As a group they were considered some of the best players in the entire game, there were no better people to have as allies. While not the largest guild their power alone made them the top, and their feats were literally legendary. Though like Suto it bothered her that Fitch hadn't been invited as well, it was odd he was excluded. Just because he did his own thing fairly often didn't mean he wasn't part of their team anymore, and he was a friend to all of them, Nero included. It was kind of a stab in the back to not offer him the same opportunity. "Is there any reason you didn't extend the same offer to Fitch as you did us...?" Luna asked, getting right to the point. Seeing as he was the superior she was addressing Kazaro, getting to her feet and bowing her head politely. "It's quite the honor to be offered, but tell us, why isn't Fitch included? Has he done something wrong?" She knew that players with questionable ethics weren't allowed, it was to ensure the guild's integrity was well founded. But Fitch had never done anything to bring him under scrutiny, and his sulking as of late was perfectly understandable and not grounds for exemption. Changing her focus unto Nero she folded her arms across her chest, frowning as she gave him a staring at. "Surely you didn't forget him, did you? I know he'd want to join if you gave him the option."

One, two, and three. Three strokes to bring down a Gilded Hypogriff. Hardly as efficient as he would like, but at least it was an improvement. At this floor Doku knew he wasn't likely to level up any quicker than this, yet the pace at which he gained experience was painstaking. How was he supposed to power level when none of the floors above this one had been cleared yet? As confident as he was in himself he was also no fool, and he knew that a boss battle was no small undertaking. But with all of the guilds around now surely their progress should be quicker than what it was. Casually closing the loot menu he set his sights on another beast, but paused when a notification sound played. Upon seeing the name of the sender he smirked, truly pleased to be hearing from Fitch. Giving the brief message a read through he replied just as shortly, telling the younger boy in what town to meet him. After sending the message he closed his eyes, chuckling beneath his breath as he shook his head. This was too easy, the boy was coming back to him after only such a short time. He had been right in his assessment, Fitch was in desperate need of some kind of outlet, and he could provide just that. Feeling quite elated Doku returned his sight back onto the monster, dashing forward with a quick sword skill and knocking out a good chunk of its health. Following up his dash with a crescent slice he reduced its health to just beneath a third, and a final straight thrust finished off the monster. As the beast let out its death rattle and shattered Doku glanced up at the neon colored sky in satisfaction, a snide smile stretched across his lips. "Oh Fitch... I so do look forward to molding you into a weapon..."
Of course Doctor Ikura was going to know what was happening. He had to, no one else did, not even Vegeta. The best they could help right now was just find a way to keep Viral calm and hope he didn't stay this way the entire trip back. That would be quite bad, they would have no option but to keep him locked up in that room, for his own sake as well as everyone else's. If anything was going to make the guy feel worse it was being caged like a common animal at a zoo. Poor Shu too, he seemed to be pretty nervous over this whole ordeal. Little guy was worrying his head off over their friend, expressing a good few nervous habits he often did. Takeshi smiled sympathetically as he wrapped an arm around his brother, pulling him against his side in a hug before letting go and patting his head. "Hey, I'm serious buddy, Viral will be okay. They'll figure it out and help him, they always do. It might take a little while but don't you worry, they'll fix things."

Watching Viral gorge on food like that was a tad worrisome, he shouldn't be eating so much after essentially fasting. Yet the entire pile of pilfered goods were devoured in record time, and soon there was nothing left for him to eat. What followed proved to be far more worrisome than his having a few too many bites. Yumi watched wide eyed as Viral began to tremble, looking like he was in pain as he started to change again, more rapidly than before. Masses of fur burst out all over his body, and rather hastily he was tearing off the remains of his clothes, leaving him only covered in the thick white fur that now covered his body. He grew quite a bit in size as well, easily being larger than a tiger by the time the sudden growth spurt had ended. Curiously enough he still resembled himself despite all the changes, yet it was evident he had changed again. This was an entirely new side of him, and it was honestly pretty intimidating. Yumi wasn't sure how to respond to it, finding herself stuck where she stood for the longest time. Exchanging looks with the Beastman she swallowed back nerves, slowly approaching him as she held out a hand to touch his muzzle. They had to keep him calm, otherwise things could go south very quickly. "Viral...? I'm not going to hurt you," she said, speaking in a deliberately soft tone, "I'm your friend, remember? I just want to help."

What was this form anyways? Viral had assumed his other form a few times now, they were fairly familiar with that one. So what was it that had prompted an entirely new one to appear then? This entire situation didn't make a lick of sense, it all seemed much too sudden. Somewhere along the lines something had changed, and the fact that Vegeta didn't know what it was infuriated him. Damn it all, he was supposed to be the one caring for his friend. How in the world was he supposed to do that if he didn't even know what was wrong? Turning to watch Yumi approach he frowned, not wanting to shout at her to stop in risk of frightening Viral. If he tried to attack her then he'd step in, but for the moment he would stay back. No reason to agitate Viral, certainly not when they were risking a fight. Looking back at his PDA he scowled, further frustrated that he had absolutely no information to use for this. He didn't even have the proper tools on him to examine the Beastman's vitals, then maybe he would know at least if he was okay or not. "Yumi... Just be careful, we don't know what kind of mindset he's in right now..."
"Shu... There is no arguing your logic..." Takeshi mumbled, a baffled look on his face. It was quite adorable when his brother tried to explain things, even if he wasn't intentionally doing it that way. But the little guy's way of speaking just made things fun, and admittedly a little hard to take him seriously. Being serious and saying things like "meow meow" and "angry kitty" didn't convey seriousness all too well. The Saiyan boy raised a few fair points though, and made a bit of cause for worry. If Viral did get stuck like this, which didn't seem super likely, they would have to do more than just bring him to Doctor Iruka. With his other form though he'd never gotten stuck, so Takeshi didn't really think that was going to be an issue. What had him more worried was, as Shu pointed out, it was taking a while to help him. Not for nothing but he was fair certain Yumi knew nothing in the way of helping Viral, and Vegeta was even clueless. It might take quite a bit for them to solve this then, which made keeping it from everyone else a little difficult. "He's got food, so maybe if he eats he'll calm down? Hopefully those two let him do that, otherwise he's going to keep being grumpy."

Yumi couldn't keep doing this, it was just too weird. After calming Viral yet again she backed off a bit, hoping Vegeta had some random breakthrough during her... Display. When he said otherwise she let out a sigh, turning back to Viral with a strained smile. She wanted to help, but crawling around and playing kitty with him wasn't the way to do it. He had been enjoying it before, yet when she went to try and resume affections he bound away, going back over to his food. That wasn't before he took another swipe at her, ducking her head to avoid being smacked. Seeing him go back to eating she rolled her eyes, getting up to her feet and dusting herself off, plucking a few hairs off of her person as well. "A lot of good that did..." she remarked, turning and going over to Vegeta. Seeing the smirk on his face she covered his mouth with a hand, narrowing her gaze as she pointed at him with her free hand. "Tell anyone and I swear you're going to be awfully sore. Now... Do you have anything we can use here?"

"Not quite yet... I've only been here for a few minutes Yumi. I don't have a solution, but I have a theory at least." Plucking her hand from his mouth Vegeta gestured to Viral, watching him completely focus in on his meal. "If he's turned more feral then he'll be running on instinct, and if he's hungry what's he going to want to do? Instead of trying to cozy up to him let's have him eat until he's full. He may be sick later on from it... But for now it's out best option for calming him down." Plus it bought them more time to think over things rather than trying to handle the Beastman at the same time. Cupping his chin with one hand Vegeta started to pace back and forth, staring at his PDA as it gathered Viral's information. Darn it all, there didn't seem to be any information whatsoever on the ship's database. Nothing that he wasn't aware of already, which made sense, he'd compiled the medical records. Nothing that he had recorded previously suggested this might happen however, it was a completely unaccounted for situation. Which mean he'd have to work from the ground up and find out what was going on, which considering the need for a quick solution wasn't going to be simple.
The roaring was definitely worrying, but there wasn't much they could do. Going in was only going to make things worse, especially considering how much Viral tended to dislike Takeshi normally. He well imagined becoming kitty food if he even tried to enter the room, and he had no such plans on doing that. "They're gonna be fine... I mean they know him the best, so they can work it out, just gotta be positive." Not horribly convincing since he was frowning, things really didn't sound like they were going all too well inside. Sighing softly Takeshi moved over to the panel, examining the keys and scratching his head. He didn't know the code for this door unfortunately, and he doubted Vegeta was going to tell him what it was. "I know Shu... I don't want to leave them in there, but what can we do? We've just got to wait..."

Things were settling down once more, thank goodness. It meant Yumi was all but forsaking her dignity, but if it kept anyone from getting hurt then she'd do it. Hopefully Vegeta was working on a solution, the longer she did this the more uncomfortable she felt. Her skin was crawling with goosebumps as she and Viral brushed against eachother, and more than once she wanted to pull away. It was just so... Weird, doing this to her friend. Even if he wasn't in the right state of mind it was still him, and he would go mental if she ever did this. If it did the trick however, demeaning as it was, she'd keep it up. Feeling Viral's head nestle into the crook of her head Yumi gasped faintly, pulling away a little and looking at the Beastman warily. He was pretty much just a cat, nothing was going to come of this, but she felt fairly panicked. They should never do anything like this, and yet here they were... Rubbing up against each other. Clearing her throat nervously she moved back, giving Viral's shoulder a gentle nudge with her nose before looking back at Vegeta. "Please tell me you've got a plan..."

"Er... Yeah... Of course..." Who was he kidding, he was totally lost? It didn't help that there was this absurdly strange scene playing out before him, he could scarcely think. This change was definitely still progressing, no question about that. In spite of their presence Viral was becoming more and more of a feline, nearly completely altered by now. Yet Yumi's being there did seem to keep him settled, which was a relief. Now if only he could figure out a way to reverse the changes. As with his other form this one was presumably caused by a trigger of some genes, and said genes had to have a way to be turned off. If his other form was triggered by great physical duress then this had to have it's own means of coming to as well. What that might be however was well beyond his knowledge at this point, meaning they were stuck in here until he could find out. Taking out his PDA once more he began to access the ship's database, trying to pull up Viral's medical records. Perhaps there would be something in those that would help them.
Takeshi was trying not to worry too, but hearing Viral it was definitely worth concern. He sounded like he was worse than before, meaning that Yumi and Vegeta would both be in danger. He almost wanted to follow the latter inside to try and help but they had been told to wait, probably for the best. "They're going to be fine, don't worry buddy," the older boy said, smiling as he gave Shu a pat on the back. "Yumi and Vegeta know Viral better than anyone, if anyone can calm him down it's them." That was only when they knew what they were facing though. From what their friend had been saying on the way down this wasn't something he had ever dealt with before, this was an entirely new beast. Even Vegeta then had absolutely no clue what was going on, and he was the only one that really ever did. The scratching at the doors was very unpleasant to hear, he couldn't well imagine how it must sound inside the room. The scratching made Takeshi reflexively step in front of Shu a bit, though certain they were safe where they were. "Even if he's got sharp claws these doors are really thick. You'd have to blast through it just to make a dent, never mind break it open. As long as Vegeta doesn't open the doors Viral isn't going anywhere." Neither were their friends, meaning they had to help the Beastman now or they would be spending a very long few days trapped inside that room.

Just what in the world had Viral become? This wasn't right, he shouldn't be changing into this. Father had never mentioned another transformation, and yet here he was changing into something new. If this were possible he'd think it would have been mentioned by someone, it was a pretty big oversight not to after all. Keeping a careful eye on the Beastman Vegeta wasn't sure what to do, how he was supposed to help. Genes were activating, that's what was causing this, but he didn't know what ones. It wasn't as though he had tools on him to suppress it either, all he had was his small PDA that was linked to the ship. Unless he wanted to try using the fire system to douse Viral and make him mope for being wet a lot of good it was going to do. Being roared at suddenly made him tense up, expecting to be attacked any second now. Then, almost comically Viral toppled forward, just barely catching himself before his head hit the ground. Alright, so he was still in the process of changing, his movements were very awkward. What would he be capable of once he was finished though? Crap, there had to be something he could do, but what? Something even more puzzling than Viral's change caught his eye, and he turned his head slightly to see Yumi crawling towards their friend. Blinking owlishly he cocked his head, opening his mouth a few times dumbfounded before finally finding his voice. "Yumi...? Uh... What are you doing?"

If she just played nice then no one was going to get hurt, plain and simple. Of course Vegeta just had to be in the room now, go figure, now she had an audience for this ridiculous farce that was her behavior. He called her out on it as soon as she dropped down, and she looked back at him with a gaze that screamed 'Talk and I'll kill you'. Her face had reassumed a deep red hue and she was feeling awfully nervous now, Viral seemed to be getting more violent. Nonetheless she moved ahead until she was at his side again, really not having any clue how to approach this. If only she could channel her inner cat, whatever the hell that meant, then maybe she'd have some idea. Instead she awkwardly came up alongside Viral and rubbed herself up along him, nuzzling his head at his shoulder. Hardly able to smile she gave a soft purr, tentatively reaching out and pawing at his head. Behind them she swore she heard Vegeta snickering, and it was all she could do to not scream at him. If this worked then Vegeta was so going to get it when they were done.
This was very strange, Vegeta never know that Viral was capable of this. He'd need to find a way to bring the Beastman down and take a look at him, see if something had somehow been introduced to his system. Then again for all he knew this could be normal, he wasn't as versed in his friend's inner workings as he might like. There were a lot of things he didn't quite know, only barely having an understanding of his first form at this point in time. It was a wonder he'd known anything at all, most of his knowledge came from observations and accounts of other scientists. Ikura would prove to be invaluable in enlightening him... He hoped. "And Yumi was purring... That is just strange..." Very, very strange. This entire matter had him confused, must be a full moon or something. Rather quickly they had gotten back downstairs and soon stood just at the doors once more. They were securely shut just as he'd hoped, nothing was coming in or out of there. Yet that didn't mean something wasn't going to try to anyways. It was faint, but carrying through the large steel door there was a distinctive scraping noise, likely Viral trying to get out. Unless Yumi had gone feral as well, which he really hoped wasn't the case. Just one person was hard enough to handle, let alone two. Standing at the door he tucked away his device, near shouting to be heard in the room. "Yumi? Is everything okay in there? What's going on?"

Bah, nothing was keeping Viral content anymore. He wasn't being violent and he wasn't letting her placate him either, it looked like he just wanted to get out. The sound of his scraping against the door was piercing to her new ears, making her shirk back and covering them painfully. He really needed to not be doing that, it was an awful noise. Stepping forward again she gently tried to get his arms to stop him, "Come on Viral... Stop... That hurts my ears!" she grumbled, wincing as another loud noise blasted her ears. Over the sound of the door being shredded she could hear Vegeta shouting to them, a quite welcome relief considering how unsuccessful she had been at this point. Smiling gratefully she again tried to ease Viral away, hoping to lead him towards his food. "Viral's uh... Well he changed again! He's a cat now I guess, which is new," she called back, looking at the Beastman puzzled. "He's not exactly violent, but he's a handful. I don't suppose you have a fix for this do you?"

"Sorry, but no! I wasn't even aware he had this form!" That was quite embarrassing to admit, he was supposed to know everything about Viral to help keep him safe. Just not fair that he was trying as hard as he was only for something completely new to come at them. Sighing Vegeta went over to the panel, hesitating as he looked at the door. The scraping had stopped for the moment, though it was impossible to know where Viral was, or what he would do when they went in there. Panic, most likely, if he was even remotely acting like a wild animal. They would have to somehow demonstrate they weren't enemies, however that would work, and hope he would relax enough to be dealt with. "I want you two to wait outside, let us deal with Viral, okay?" After punching in the combination the doors slid open, and Vegeta hastily hit the shut command once more, they had only opened part way before he had slipped through, leaving both himself and Yumi now stuck in the room with Viral. Seeing the Beastman now surprised him quite a bit, this was most definitely a new side of him. Since when could he do this?
Viral turning into a cat, certainly not what he had expected to hear. This was a completely new development, one he hadn't forseen. Now more than ever they had to hurry back to Earth, they needed Doctor Ikura's help quite badly. Using his personal computer to turn the lights on and lock the doors he looked to Shu, smiling reassuringly. "Even in his other form Viral never truly assaulted Yumi, she's the one person I know that can handle him once he's changed. Don't worry, have some faith in her." Someone needed to keep an eye on him after all, and Yumi was conveniently in the same room, so she drew the short straw. Not that he thought she would mind all that much, chances were she'd want to be in there anyways if she was hearing about it just now anyways. Giving T'charrl a thumbs up Vegeta smiled, stepping out past Shu and Takeshi. "That's right, positive. Just think of how much you'll be able to help your people when you return, you're going to be a great leader." He didn't want to seem rude, but there were more pressing matters to attend to at the moment. Motioning for the brothers to follow him he began to make his way in the direction they had come, automatically ruling out elevators because of Shu. "Tell me everything that you saw, I need to know what's happened to him."

"We didn't actually see a whole lot of anything really. The room was pitch black when we went in there, and he was in the light I made for maybe all of a second. He's definitely turned into some kind of cat, he was purring and making growling noises like a tiger or something. Yumi was too, but she didn't go feral or anything. Kind of funny actually." He did wish they could be more helpful, but there wasn't anything more to go on. Now that the room was lit up however it would be a simple enough matter to see, albeit he did wonder if there was more danger now. Viral had been nervous even in the dark, who knows how he'd behave in the light.

Yumi was fairly confused when the lights suddenly turned on, getting pretty disoriented by it. If she was surprised then Viral was probably startled, so she immediately went to try and comfort him. Bad idea, he bolted the moment she moved towards him. Or maybe it was because the doors were shutting, she wasn't sure. Either way he darted away, trying to throw himself through the opening... And slamming head first into the steel door instead. Wincing when he collided she watched as he comically slid down against it, nursing at his no doubt forming bump. Smiling worriedly she got back down on all fours, sighing exasperatedly. This was the only way he was going to warm up to her then, just great. Padding over to him she crouched at his side, leaning down and gently nuzzling her cheek against his head as if to nurse the wound, her face heating up again as a result.
A shame the lessons were going to be coming to an end now, but Vegeta was curious as to what Shu wanted. Upon answering the door he was greeted by a rather jumpy little boy, looking like he really needed to get something off of his chest. Waiting until Takeshi had joined them he gave Shu the go ahead to speak and explain himself. Thank goodness he was familiar with the little Saiyan's speech patterns, otherwise that rapid stream of words would have sounded incomprehensible to him. Even still it took a second to register, carefully piecing all of the words together. "Viral and Yumi are doing what...?" he repeated, frowning a bit. Normally he'd be happy to hear Viral was eating, yet the situation didn't sound right. Viral not being himself, that could only mean he had changed again. But what in the world was Yumi doing purring? Now that he couldn't offer any explanation for whatsoever. Sighing softly Vegeta reached into his pocket, grabbing a small device before looking at Takeshi. "What room are they in right now?"

"The uh... Training room." Vegeta gave him an accusing look then, and Takeshi folded his arms and turned his head to the side. "What? We weren't going to train in there," he lied, shifting his weight on his feet. "We were going for a walk and found a bunch of food crumbs so we followed it. When the trail ended there we went inside and that's where we found Viral. And yeah, he's all purring and acting like a cat, like Shu said, and we don't know why."

That didn't make a single lick of sense. Viral shouldn't be changing into a cat, he couldn't change into a cat. He only had that one form, didn't he? The lizard one, his form that appeared when he was under extreme duress. So this meant he had missed something, or somewhere along the line his friend had acquired a new transformation. Worrying a little Vegeta pressed a few buttons on his device, putting a few commands through the ship and to the training room. "The lights should be coming online, and the doors will be locked until we get down there. We can't let Viral out of that room, not until I know what's going on, understood? Do your best not to agitate him either, he might be dangerous." Looking back at T'charrl he smiled apologetically, shrugging his shoulders and stepping out of the room. "We'll continue your lessons later, I promise. Right now I'm needed elsewhere."

Viral was all sorts of back and forth with his behavior. One minute he was enjoying himself and the next he seemed to be annoyed, and it was over the exact same thing. Yumi couldn't understand it, his erratic behavior was throwing her through a loop. Feeling Viral scamper off once more she rolled her eyes, truly getting annoyed at this point. Either stay and let me help or run off, make up your mind she thought to herself. He hadn't minded her company or affections before, so what changed in the few moments that had passed? Starting to walk after him again she was surprised once more when a low humming sound echoed through the room, followed by the lights simultaneously turning on. The brightness of them made her cover her eyes hastily, and once uncovering them she had to blink a couple of times to be able to see clearly. Seeing Viral now she was stunned, his upper half looking decidedly feline while his lower half was much the same. Were she not so shocked by the sight she might laugh at how odd it looked. Slowly walking towards him she held out a hand, smiling sheepishly as she tried to pet him. "V-Viral...? Uh... You might not want to eat so much, you'll get sick."
