Shu would get it, as would T'charrl, there was no question about that. The two were perfectly capable of getting this down in the next day or so, probably sooner if they kept the pace up. "You're both going to have this down in no time, just keep working for it!" Now that they knew what to do it was pretty safe to say they could be left to their own devices. After all, lectures only got so far, you had to do things for yourself to truly learn them. Much as Takeshi could sit there and tell them how much energy to put out ultimately it fell to them to regulate their own strength, that was something he couldn't give them. Eying the orb Shu created he watched keenly as it was tossed, making it a bit further than the last one, but only just. A modest wall of water was sent their way which promptly doused the older boy, leaving him standing there with a surprised look on his face as he dripped. "Uh... Well, that was better." He supposed he needed to take a bath soon anyways, albeit that wasn't exactly what he'd had in mind. Lifting a hand to wipe his face dry Takeshi smiled, flicking droplets at Shu playfully. "Try to make your energy more compact before you throw it, pack it together tighter. The more you do that the farther it travels before exploding."

Huh, why was T'charrl so panicked over the water? Their friend had mentioned he wasn't one for swimming but he didn't think the Kaesstrian would actually be afraid of it. Chuckling softly Takeshi crossed his arms, raising an eyebrow at his friend. "I'm not terrifying? Well shoot, looks like I haven't been doing my job. But to answer your question it takes a lot of control and know-how to make unique attacks. I can show you one, if you want." But first T'charrl was going to have another go at his own attacks. As before he threw it out over the water, throwing it a little higher this time. The resulting explosion caused a large shockwave to travel downward, displacing quite a bit of water in a large ripple effect. When the explosion subsided a small whirlpool formed at the epicenter as a result, not too shabby at all. Smiling Takeshi turned his back to his friend and brother, again wiping at his face to clear some water. "You're getting on really well, both of you, I gotta say I'm impressed. Let me show you something a little fancier that you can do."

Might as well have a little fun and show off one of his own little tricks. Probably not his unique attack but he liked to use it, when the situation allowed for it anyways. Holding both arms out before him with the palms flat Takeshi channeled a lot of Ki to each hand, letting it hold there for a few seconds. Then, in a rapid succession of bursts he began releasing blasts, creating almost an ovular shaped pattern as he fired off several attacks. They arched every which way, sideways, up and down, but all met at one point a good many meters out over the water. As the blasts collided they created a larger orb on the other side, the repeating shockwaves making a lot of splashing. When he finally stopped firing the mass of Ki on the other end blew up altogether, spreading out and creating some modest waves in every direction. A small one made it to shore, but for the most part everything was pushed out to sea. Turning back around with a triumphant grin Takeshi chuckled, flashing the others a thumbs up. "How did you like that one? Made it up myself!"

"Eh, you don't age? Well that's silly, everyone ages, including me. Just because you might not change physically doesn't mean you don't age. A rock might look the same year after year, but you'd say the rock is a hundred years old, wouldn't you? Well then, we're no different." Now things were beginning to make a little sense, at last. Viral was immortal, if Roshi understood rightly. Or very close to it, considering he didn't believe he aged. Hm, a new immortal being, and one that was created no less. If he thought he had the place to ask he might question where Viral was made, but that was another time and place. Sighing remorsefully he moved himself, taking a seat beside Viral before looking up at the sky himself. "Young man... There are things all around you to celebrate. Like I said, you're alive, that's something worth celebrating is it not? And look at everyone around you, all your friends, they're all here with you. For you, that's something. You have people that make life worth living, and you've got many, many years ahead of you with them, I can tell. Believe me when I tell you that life is plenty worth celebrating, it's all about how you live it that counts."

Roshi chuckled lightheartedly, rubbing at his bald head as he looked down at the grass. "Ah... Listen to an old man ramble. Sorry about that, but I want you to understand that there's a lot in life that's worth noticing and celebrating. The relationships you build, the people you meet, the things you experience, everything around you can be worthwhile if you let it be. And while people might disappear the bonds you made never will, and they'll make up who you are." Roshi spoke as much for himself as he did Viral. His own life had been drastically changed by meeting people like Goku, and those were changes he never wanted to forget. All the experiences they had been through were precious, the good and the bad, and he'd not trade them for anything. Looking over at Viral the hermit smiled kindly, reaching over and placing a hand on the Beastman's shoulder. "You will see people come and go, Viral, but always remember they're never truly gone. They're always with you in spirit and will be cheering for you on the other side. So if you want to know what to celebrate... Celebrate life. Celebrate what you have, what you will have, and what you have had in the past. Life can be pretty grand if you let it be, believe me."
Before T'charrl had tossed his own attack Shu was well on his way to forming one as well. While he had gathered the energy quicker the little guy also seemed to be having trouble handling it too, more so than their friend. Just getting it under control the younger boy tossed it out towards the water, most likely in hopes of getting it to explode over the waves. Instead of even reaching the water it exploded right on the shore. Lifting an arm to shield his eyes from the dirt Takeshi smiled, still pleased with his brother's progress. "Not bad Shu, not bad. If you want it to go further you have to pack it more tightly. Once you toss it the Ki will start to expand, it's all about sealing it before you let it go." That was the case for individual little blasts anyways. Different things could influence that too, like velocity, if you were shooting a sustained blast and how strong it was to begin with. For the sake of their beginning lessons he wouldn't go into all of that.

Now then, time for T'charrl's turn. As Shu had done the Kaesstrian gathered his Ki, the orb seeming quite unsteady as the energy bounced around in his palms. Giving him a nod to go ahead their friend lobbed it out into the water, cutting a pretty wide path through the waves before ultimately exploding a few dozen meters out. The explosion wasn't quite as brilliant as Shu's had been, but the control was much better. The case seemed to be then that Shu had more energy but less control of it, whereas T'charrl was pretty much the exact opposite. They had to work on two different points, control and release to reach the same ends. "Both of those were good guys, honest," Takeshi replied, smiling as he gave a nod of his head. "Still some work to do, but we'll get it down soon enough. Want to give it another go?"

"Hey now... Fighting isn't a bad thing. Not so long as you have a good reason for it anyways." More or less everyone here fought as a lifestyle, so saying fighting was a bad thing was calling everyone bad. Sure, if you fought for selfish reasons or simply for power then that wasn't very good, yet Roshi knew that wasn't why Viral fought. If that were the case he wouldn't have the kind of company he did, that was obvious. Also obvious was the fact that the man was quite depressed, the hermit could tell both in Viral's speech and mannerisms that he was rather upset. "Of course there is a point to counting your age, it marks another year of life, another year of accomplishments. If you let yourself lose track of time then you lose meaning, and believe me son, you don't want that." Chuckling softly Roshi smiled, becoming quite serious as he looked at Viral sympathetically. "I've been around for... Oh, a few hundred years. And yet I still count my age, celebrate my birthdays. Because just being alive is something worth celebrating, don't you think?"
Shu still didn't sound overly confident still, they were going to have to address that. Looking down at his own hand Takeshi smiled amused, shrugging before reaching over and playfully poking his brother in the shoulder. "I had plenty blow up in my face, though I was pretty impatient when I was learning. If you take your time you'll be fine," he said, "Otherwise you might end up like me and almost burning your eyebrows off!" If it could be helped the little guy would be doing no such thing during his own practice. Best they gradually work up to actually setting off a blast, bringing out energy in a controlled fashion would be step one. While Shu seemed hesitant to begin T'charrl had psyched himself up and was ready to begin. Takeshi watched his friend closely, following his Ki as T'charrl began to summon it forth. From a few sparks of energy came an orb at last, or something reminiscent of an orb. It was quite bumpy and gave off this odd feedback sound, kind of like normal Ki but far more spastic. "It won't blow up as long as you contain it," the Saiyan replied, smiling as he looked at the energy. "Good for a first attempt though! Looks like you're getting it. Now then..." Turning around Takeshi pointed out towards the sea, grinning as he looked at T'charrl. "Toss it like a ball and see how well it works!"

"Beastman, eh...? That's a new one." The people on their world might be able to be called Beastman, though Roshi wasn't sure if he was using that term rightly. Artificial life... So was he like an android? Hm... Nope, Viral was certainly organic, he could tell just by looking. That invariably made the old man think back to Cell all those years ago, it being the closest thing to artificial life. Now that whatever he had been on was fading the Beastman sounded more uneasy with himself, hardly giving a description that would land him a job. "The bad things are fun things...?" Roshi repeated, not quite understanding. Scratching at his beard the hermit looked over briefly at the boys feeling a slight increase of energy, taking note of what T'charrl was doing. Hopefully they shot away from his home, he didn't want to have to fix anything again. "You don't know why you're here...? How old are you, Viral?"
So long as Shu and T'charrl were both willing to learn Takeshi would more than happily teach them. What he could at any rate, he was by no means the expert when it came to Ki, but he did know more than these two. By the sounds of it they were both more than ready to go on with their lessons, even if they weren't wholly confident. "You might not be very strong yet, but give it more practice and you will be," he said, trying to be supportive. "Besides, Ki isn't the only thing you get strength from. Plenty of people can be strong without it, Ki just happens to be pretty darn handy." Which was all the more reason for them to learn it, they could certainly make use of it in the coming battles. When all their enemies would be blasting off attacks comparable to a small bomb they really should be able to counter it with their own. "Releasing it is kind of like channeling it, only you don't stop it when it reaches a certain point. Like this..." Lifting one of his arms Takeshi extended his hand, holding it flat facing the ocean. Gathering a bit of Ki right in his hand into a ball he formed a relatively small blast before releasing it, sending it soaring out over the water as it exploded some few dozen meters away.

"You both know how to channel Ki, now you need to learn how to channel certain amounts. Since you can see Ki when it's outside, usually, you can kind of get an idea how much you're releasing." Turning back to Shu and T'charrl he held his hand, palm up, and gathered a little bit of Ki again. "Depending on how much you release and how concentrated you make the orb the stronger your blast will be. You can have something like this..." Takeshi pushed out more Ki, purposely making a rather large orb the size of a big beach ball. "Or this..." he added, shrinking it to something comparable to a basketball. It was definitely the trickiest part of their training, knowing how much to release and where. If their earlier progress said anything about these lessons though it was that they should get it fairly easily. "For starters, you two will just make little orbs. Hold your hands together like this," he kept one hand upside down and held the other over it, some 20 centimeters apart. "And form an orb between your two hands. If it helps only let energy come from one hand, then you're not putting out as much. When you make it big enough to fit in both hands stop moving your energy and concentrate on holding the ball as it is. Sound pretty easy?"

Roshi wasn't used to someone like Viral, both in regards to a Beastman and him being utterly out of it. While the hermit was all for talking to the young man he wasn't exactly sure how to approach it, seeing as he wasn't the most sociable being to begin with. Finally getting some recognition after taking a seat the old man smiled, "You don't know me, though that didn't stop you from tossing me like a coconut!" he laughed, gesturing to himself with his thumb. "The name is Roshi, I'm a pretty big deal you know. Trained Goku, his son and friends, and even these kids a bit. I happen to be quite the martial arts expert as well, heh heh." Plus he was a connoisseur of women, but considering Viral's reaction to him earlier, assuming it was over Yumi, he thought best to keep that to himself. "Anyway, what about you? I know your name is Viral, but what more is there to know? What haven't I been told yet, hm?"
Leaving what they were going to do up to Shu was pretty fine with Takeshi. If he wanted to swim then fine, they could do that, or build sand castles for all he cared. By the sounds of it both he and T'charrl however were more than content with training than anything. Just as well, the more they practiced the sooner they'd master it. "Heh, alright, training it is." he chimed, giving a thumbs up. "You'll get to our level if you keep up the hard work T'charrl. Besides, we're really not all that strong." Modesty aside T'charrl was pretty strong in his own right, it was likely he actually didn't need to work all that much to match their power. Certainly not as he was now, he had tons of strength in this form. Once he changed back there was no telling how strong he might be, hopefully he didn't lose too much of this power in that process. Would be a darn shame if they had to train all over again once he went back to his old self. "Let's see... You guys got down finding your energy, and you can channel it pretty well..." Takeshi said, counting off with his fingers, "So that just leaves releasing energy. Unless you want to practice more on channeling it first, whatever you two wanna do."

That was some good news, Viral's medicine should wear off not too long from now. Evidently the nurse in charge of him had given him double prescription by accident, hence why he was in such a state. Even the regular prescription would have mellowed him out, according to Vegeta, but not nearly as much as two pills had. Poor Viral, he was probably beyond out of it right now, as if the last few hours hadn't been indication enough. Coming back outside she saw Shu, T'charrl and Takeshi all clumped together, looking rather excited about something. There was Viral, sitting over on the grass by himself not really looking... Well like much of anything. Frowning sympathetically she glanced at Roshi as he came over to her side, sighing softly. "He's been like this for a while... Depressed. This is actually the calmest I've seen him, and it's only because he's on medicine right now. We don't know what more to do for him."

"Depressed, hm...? Well that's no good, not at all..." He'd thought there was something curious about Viral, being spaced out on anti-depressants would explain it. What an unfortunate state to be in, Roshi wondered if it was preferable being numb rather than upset. Feeling quite empathetic the old man cleared his throat, looking up at Yumi politely. "If you'd allow me, I'd talk to him. I don't know what help I can be, but perhaps this old man can impart some wisdom to him." Getting the go-ahead from Yumi he smiled, nodding in turn before looking at the Beastman. Hopefully this time he didn't get tossed head over heels, he'd have to mind his distance. Walking over to join the other man Roshi took a seat on the grass a few meters from Viral, sitting cross legged with his hands in his lap. "Beautiful day, isn't it...?" he asked, smiling as he glanced up at the sky. "It's days like this that remind me why I live out here. The only thing that's more beautiful than women is nature at its finest."
Roshi really didn't know who this man was... Or did he? His head was so fuzzy right now he very well could and just not remember it. He had a pretty distinct look though, the hermit liked to thing he'd have remembered someone like this. Getting closer just in case it might somehow help him out the old man blinked when Viral growled, gasping and squirming around as his shirt was taken a hold of. Getting lifted off his feet Roshi was then promptly tossed, tumbling upside down and yelling in confusion as he tipped and went head first into the sand. Skidding a ways on impact he finally came to a rest when he ended up at the base of a tree, hitting against it before slumping down. For a second he sat there before finally trying to get himself free, plucking his head out from the sand and coughing a fair bit of it up. Spitting to rid himself of the taste he then turned around, looking at Viral surprised. That had certainly sobered him, now he was all sandy and still confused as to who the man was. Sitting down on his behind Roshi craned his neck, smacking either side of his head as grains of sand slipped out of each ear. "So who is he...? All I got from that was he's grumpy."

"He's probably grumpy because you touched my butt... Pervert..." Yumi retorted, frowning as she folded her arms over her chest. Only seeing a cheeky grin in response she sighed softly, giving a shake of her head. "And this is our friend, Viral. He really doesn't like perverts, so for your own sake I'd behave while we're here." Unless the hermit enjoyed being smacked around like that, then he could do whatever he wanted. Actually... No, even then she'd prefer he keep his hands off. Looking at Viral she frowned finding him still in quite the daze, really confused why he was like that still. Maybe they should call Vegeta, he'd know why. "May I use your phone, by the way? I need to make a call real quick." Nodding gratefully she excused herself from the others, hurrying on inside the house and after a bit of searching finding the phone. Dialing in Capsule Corp's number from memory she waited patiently as it rang, knowing he darn well should be there.

Takeshi watched the scene a bit curiously, almost breaking into a smile when Roshi got buried in the sand. Yep, their master had done exactly as he'd figured he would, predictable old pervert. It was a really bad idea speaking to Yumi like that around Viral, and certainly so was laying a hand on her in such a manner. If he wanted to keep himself in one piece the hermit would do well not to try that again. Watching Yumi wander off inside the house he wondered exactly what they ought to do now that they were here, figuring it was just a quick stop to say hello. They could train more, but the kind of training they were doing could be just as easily done at home. "Hey Shu...? Why'd we come here again...?" he mumbled, looking around. More training, but now that he was here he kind of didn't want to be. Or more precisely he didn't want to be here with Viral and Roshi most likely going to end up killing one another... More likely Viral killing Roshi if he couldn't learn to keep his hands to himself. Sighing softly Takeshi raised his hands, folding them behind his head as he looked over at Roshi, still speaking to Shu. "Do you want to train some more I guess? We can try making things go boom if you want."
"I don't know if it's medicine. Can't think what else would do this to him though." Vegeta definitely wouldn't have done anything to hurt him, not in a million years. Not intentionally anyways, this had to be a side effect of that medicine. It was hard to know if it was actually working or not, he didn't seem outwardly upset though that didn't mean a whole lot. Takeshi snapped his attention over to Shu, eyes widening as he stared at his brother. "Cut his head open...? And... Poke him...?" Eugh, was that what scientists had done to them? He couldn't even begin to guess what the hell they were getting at, it just seemed too weird and wrong. Worriedly the older boy stepped closer to his brother, placing his hands on his head and parting his hair meticulously, looking for any scars. Not finding any Takeshi exhaled with relief, rubbing his neck with a sheepishly smile. "No cuts on your head... Good..." That was an unfortunate reminder that the little Saiyan probably needed to talk to someone as well. Would bringing him to that Ikura man be a good idea, or should his older brother just try to fix things? He was going to have to do something about it, they had more or less neglected Shu in favor of Viral's much more obvious problems. Deciding to move onto a more cheerful topic Takeshi started off down the street, not wanting to take off in the middle of the city. "T'charrl can come, and I bet Viral will like the beach. He is part shark after all, so maybe he'll want to swim?"

Viral was pretty much a sack of potatoes right now. A big, furry, clawed sack of potatoes. Yumi hadn't the faintest idea what he'd been up to but couldn't well leave him to treat random people as scratching posts. She was actually rather surprised with how submissive he was being, not getting so much as a single budge of resistance out of her friend as she dragged him along. "Okay Viral, we're going to Master Roshi's house with the others. Climb on my back so we can get going." If this was the stuff that Doctor Ikura had given Viral wasn't it supposed to wear off by now? Come to think of it she recalled the Beastman taking something this morning, and now it was nearly 6 in the evening. Just how long were these pills supposed to last for? Hopefully they wore off soon, it was becoming a little tricky to keep an eye on her friend like this. Setting off after the other three had Yumi kept a careful grip on the Beastman, soaring well over the trees as they raced out to the ocean. Maybe being out here away from people and to his own devices would let Viral relax a bit more. Or he could become incredibly bored and end up finding something to entertain himself... Which in this state might be a little risky.

Takeshi wasn't really all too surprised to find Roshi fast asleep. At least he was outside this time, they weren't all going to have to barge in. The man was sprawled out on his beach chair, a magazine of women laid out across his face and an empty mug loosely hanging from his fingertips over the side. They weren't even gone all that long, had he drank and just passed out? Closing his eyes and pinching his brow in exasperation he sighed, wondering if they should even bother waking him up. Yumi had wanted to see him after all, so he supposed they should. Wondering how to go about it Takeshi got an idea, smiling cheekily as he raised one finger and aimed it at the mug. Gathering a little bit of Ki he sent a tiny blast Roshi's way, hitting the mug and shattering it. That got the old man to sit up rather quickly, looking around awfully confused with a rosy red face. Either a sunburn or from drinking, hopefully not the latter.

"Hey, Master Roshi! We're back, and we've got visitors!" Probably throwing her under the bus, but Takeshi stepped to the side so the hermit could see Yumi. Had the old man ran any faster just then he would have turned the sand beneath his feet into glass. Stumbling as he was pushed out of the way the Saiyan smiled innocently, backing off a ways to avoid any impending smacks.

"Eh... Yumi? Oh my, it's nice to see you again my dear!" Roshi said cheerfully, chuckling as he picked up her hands and gave each a small kiss.

Yumi shuddered as her hands were kissed, forcing a strained, pleasant smile while trying to be polite. "Hello, Master Roshi, it's nice to see you- EEEP!" Out of nowhere she felt a hand slap her behind, and immediately Yumi tensed up and backed away, just a bit. Biting back anger as she closed her eyes she kept the smile on her face, holding her own hands behind her back to refrain from slapping the old man. "Nice to see you too..."

"Hehehe... You look as pretty as the day we met! Glad to see you haven't changed!" Definitely drunk, otherwise he'd probably notice the distinct addition of feline ears on Yumi's head. Roshi was off in his own little world right now, not unlike the next person he was to see. Looking at Viral curiously the hermit shuffled over, raising an eyebrow as he got perhaps a little too close. "And who is this? Never seen you before, boy!"
"Volleyball is fun. It's... Well you hit a ball up in the air, over a net, and you try to make it land on the other team's side." That was about as simple as it could be explained, for Shu's case anyways. "Hide and seek is a lot easier to play, though I don't know how many spots there will be to hide at Roshi's house." Seeing paws swiping at air out of the corner of her eye Yumi glanced over confused, tilting her head seeing Viral swatting at the air. Looking around she couldn't spot a single thing that he might be after, was he really that out of it? Hm... Maybe bringing him out in public was a bad idea. "Of course you can play with everyone Shu, no one is going to make you pick favorites," she added, smiling kindly. Suddenly the bench felt a little bit lighter, Yumi wondered why. Looking at her side she saw the discernibly empty seat beside her, eyes widening in surprise as she got up and looked around confused. It was then she spotted the Beastman, having wandered off and currently chasing down some man and swatting at his back mindlessly. "Heh... If you'll excuse me!" she said hastily, running off after her friend.

Takeshi didn't know why he was worried so much, he knew Shu wouldn't up and leave him like that. Watching alongside his brother as Viral wandered off in what appeared a drunken haze the older boy climbed out of his seat, rubbing at his head confused. Definitely loopy, that guy, but he still didn't know why. On a whim he reached over and grabbed the last smoothie, the one the Beastman had been sipping from. Snipping at the contents through a crack in the lid he shrugged his shoulders, definitely no alcohol or anything in there. Had to be whatever medicine that doctor had him propped up on, was it supposed to do that? "Remind me never to let you take medicine..." Takeshi mumbled, watching as Yumi tried to drag their friend back over to the table. Well, if they were heading back then they might as well get a move on, drugged out Viral included! Smiling the Saiyan reached down and gave his sibling a pat on the back, sliding both his hands into his pockets as he started to walk off. "Wanna grab the suitcase buddy? We'll stop by the house on our way there and drop it off, how's that sound?"
Yumi glanced over at Viral in surprise, he hadn't spoken the entire time they were out. Getting elbowed in the side she smiled faintly amused, prodding him back before rolling her eyes dramatically. "It's a smoothie, not a milkshake. Why would there be milk in it?" she teased, finishing off the last of her own drink. "And I sleep by lying down and closing my eyes, same as anyone else." Maybe she ought not to be joking around, but with Viral not seeming inherently depressed, or as much as he had been, she felt she could lighten up a little. Showing she was kidding with an apologetic smile she turned back to Shu, giving his leg a light kick to grab his attention. "Stone jungle...? Do you mean the city?" she asked, drawing her brow together, "We could play in the city, I guess. I was thinking maybe at Takeshi's house, or even Roshi's. The city isn't really the best place for us to be goofing around I don't think." Too many other people in the way, there was nowhere remotely private enough for them to enjoy themselves. Propping her elbows up on the table and laying her chin in her hands Yumi looked at Shu thoughtfully, quirking an eyebrow. "What do you want to play? Every try volleyball? Or maybe we can play hide and seek or something." It probably had to be a game a little kid liked, that seemed like the best bet.

"Hey... I thought we were going to play..." Takeshi said, pouting as he sulked a little. "Just because we're training doesn't mean we're not going to play afterwards." He'd had plenty of things in mind too. There was an amusement park in East City that he wanted to show his brother, that ought to be pretty fun. Plus they could always go to the beach and he could help Shu learn how to swim better. Or they could play a game of tag, which would be even better once the little guy got flying down. Meh, well it wasn't like Yumi was going to be able to play with him the entire time, he'd get his chance. Giving Shu a hopeful smile he leaned over, bumping his brother slightly in the shoulder, "How about we get heading back to Roshi's? I bet he's wondering where we went by now, seeing as we didn't tell him we were leaving and all." Heck, knowing the hermit he was passed out drunk anyways after binging on exercise tapes, ah well. "We can play too when we get back, if you want to Shu. Whatever you want to do."

Yumi rolled her eyes slightly, smirking as she stood up from her seat. "You're acting like I'm trying to steal him from you. Relax, I was just offering." It was kind of cute how defensive Takeshi got though, he really wanted to keep Shu around for himself. It was nice to see them being so close, she remembered how it had been initially and it was pretty far from the current situation. "I want to go see Master Roshi again, so I think we'll come along with you two, if Viral doesn't mind." He hadn't complained much at all yet, aside from the quip about smoothies. It was a safe bet he'd be fine with accompanying her to Kame House. Gathering up all of the empty cups Yumi carefully dumped them into a bin, barely stuffing them all down inside before dusting her hands off proudly. Smiling satisfied she went back to the table, looking down at Shu curiously. "Need someone to fly you to the island? I can carry you and Viral if you want."
Mmm... These smoothies were really yummy. Even though she had been on Earth much more recently Yumi still hadn't had one in quite a while, she was quite enjoying them. Being caught out in the middle of a sip she glanced up at T'charrl, listening to his worries curiously. "Ah... Tasty..." she mumbled, taking one last sip with a smile. "Then you don't have to take it off, no worries! You do what makes you comfortable, I just want you to know that people will warm up to you if you give them a chance." And those that didn't? Well they weren't worth the effort anyways, any half decent person would accept someone who didn't quite look like them. It was a waste of breath trying to make friends with everyone, no reason to worry oneself over it. Today was pretty open as far as plans went, if that wasn't evident enough in her and Viral's meandering around the city aimlessly. So maybe visiting Roshi would be a nice idea, she could go for a visit. Bringing the idea up to Viral she didn't exactly get a reply, unless a shove counted as one. Smiling amused Yumi watched as Viral went back to his smoothie, kind of enjoying how easy he was to handle today.

"Sure, we'll come along once we're done here. No way I'm letting these smoothies go to waste!" There were still a good few left after all, she couldn't walk away in good conscience knowing these were here. Grabbing herself a final one she started to nurse it gingerly, not wanting to miss single drop. Hopefully visiting the old hermit didn't turn out to be a total nightmare, she was already bracing herself for some overly friendly hugs from Roshi. She'd do her best to be polite about it, but there was only so much a girl could take before she had to smack someone. Looking across at Shu thoughtfully she reached under the table with her foot, giving his a playful kick before smiling. "Shu, are we still going to have a play day while we're here? I know you asked for one a while ago." So long as she wasn't preoccupied with Viral she wouldn't well mind playing with the little Saiyan. She could go for some good old fashioned goofing off, it would help relieve the stress of everything that had been going on as of late.
