Yumi was a bit disappointed she couldn't feed Viral, it seemed like it would be fun. If he wanted to help himself though then she certainly wasn't going to try and deny him that. Handing over the fork she started to stir around the vegetables on her plate, busy watching the Beastman try to eat. For all the things that Viral did know apparently how to hold a fork wasn't one of them. Weird, she didn't think it was an overly complicated thing to do. Finding his attempt to eat oddly fascinating she stopped her own meal, silently rooting on the Beastman. If she didn't know better she'd think he was afraid of it, pulling away the fork whenever he got close to biting it. Yumi had no clue what he was doing with his tongue, trying to eat by lapping it up perhaps. Eying the fish as it wobbled then collapsed on the plate she snickered briefly, quickly covering her mouth to conceal a smile. "Seeing you eat... It's cute..." she said, lowering her hand and flashing a smile, "What about scooping it up with a spoon? It's all diced up, so you can get some in there. Like this..." To demonstrate she took the spoon from beside his plate, carefully skimming along the edge to scoop up some fish. Holding it between her fingers she smiled proudly, "See, easy, and no sharp edges. And this is how you hold it! Though..." Yumi paused, glancing at Viral's paws, "Maybe your way works well too."

Biting and pulling hair was a far cry from a mauling, but it was still unusual for Shu. It was rare but he did randomly lash out like that and it always seemed to happen whenever someone grabbed him. Even Takeshi could figure out that it was triggering the response, it didn't take Vegeta level smarts to solve that. What he didn't know was how to go about fixing it. "Scared because someone was grabbing you...? That's it?" he asked, frowning as Shu looked away, "Shu... We can't just ignore this, you know? It won't get better. And I know you didn't mean to, but you still did it." They couldn't put off that anger management any longer, after they ate they really should get to working on it. Shu didn't enjoy doing it, but he'd enjoy hurting someone even less if he changed. Sighing he took his arm from around Shu's shoulders, setting his hands into his pant pockets. "After the meal we're working on your anger, no more trying to get out of it buddy," Takeshi said, looking at his brother, "We have to try and figure that out before someone gets hurt, don't you think?"

Of course Kabocha was going to live this up, he wasn't the one mauled by Shu. Mauled might be a stretch, but all the same he wasn't the unlucky one here. Seeing Kai so bothered when he was always so calm and collected was just icing on the cake. Laughing at his friend's expense he reached over, giving Kai's tail a slight tug before tucking his hands behind his back and stepping away innocently. "I am happy I didn't need to fight him! Otherwise he'd be biting my tail!" he joked with a grin, "And nah... I'm not very appetizing, you've got more meat on your bones than I do. I'd bet he'll have you and Choi, then be too full to have me for dessert." Probably a good thing that T'charrl was gone, he'd be awfully embarrassed hearing this. It was funny to joke about but Kabocha did feel like crap when the Kaesstrian started sulking, usually because it was his fault, or one of theirs. "If you want to get even then go bite his tail! Though he might really freak if you do that."
"I know you don't have trouble all the time, just right now!" Yumi said cheerily, finishing filling Viral's plate. She kept it light, a portion of what she had gotten for herself. It wasn't too much she didn't think, even Viral with his abysmal appetite could finish this. Hoping to be even further helpful she grabbed the fork and skewered a piece of fish, offering it up to her friend playfully. Might as well have some fun with this, Viral might even crack a smile. Or maybe he'd try to knock the food away from himself. Pulling back to avoid that she smiled sadly, letting out a sigh as she lowered the fork. "I'm just trying to be helpful, you don't have to be so picky. But if you want to feed yourself..." Placing the fork back on Viral's plate she turned back to her own food, beginning to eat again. How Viral was going to eat she wasn't sure, so she watched out of the corner of her eyes for him to start. He had the alcohol he'd wanted, and could only drink under the stipulation he had some food too, so he was bound to eat. Odd that Yumi almost found that exciting. Curious, Yumi looked at her own glass and brought it to her lips, giving the liquid inside a smell. It was a bit sweet, maybe like juice. Taking a small sip of it then she made a face, her lips puckering before she placed her drink back down. "Wow, that's tart!"

A bead of sweat dripped down Takeshi's forehead while he listened to Shu's justification. He thought the tail was food, huh? What had he mistaken it for anyways, a hairy hotdog perhaps? Was that more of the little guy's anger acting up? Then again, thinking back to when he had grabbed Shu before, the younger boy had flailed around quite a lot then too. Weird, he had no idea why grabbing Shu would cause him to spaz out like that, maybe he ought to ask. Before that though, where was T'charrl running off to? Calling after their friend he tried to convince him to stay to no avail, getting a very nervous reply in turn. Looking quite confused Takeshi just let it go, making no effort as he stared at the empty door for a moment. "Ooookay... That was weird..." he mumbled, clicking his tongue thoughtfully, "Anyways, let's go get some food guys, I'm starving!" Putting one arm around Shu's shoulders and his other hand on his own stomach, Takeshi started out of the room as well. Waiting until they got a slight distance from the others he turned his head slightly, looking down at his sibling. "We need to talk, now..." he whispered, pulling Shu closer to convey he wasn't getting out of this, "You freaked when Kai grabbed you, just like I did. What gives?"

"Well that was fun! More exciting than fighting you two, that's for sure!" Kabocha mused, walking alongside Kai and Choi. He'd had a fair amount of fun with that, but he had noticed the twins getting a bit frustrated now and again. Hah, they had been worried about T'charrl and it turned out the Kaesstrian was the one enjoyable person to spar with. Peering over at Kai he smiled, raising an eyebrow as he reached around and playfully tried plucking at his tail. "So what did Shu do anyway, eh? Took a chomp out of your tail?" he asked, laughing before stepping away slightly just for good measure. "Hey, all things considered you got off light! Imagine if he went and changed!"
Vegeta scarcely even remembered what this drink was, he'd long since ejected it from memory since it didn't matter to him. The label on the bottle was worn and faded by now anyways, there was no way of knowing unless they had a connoisseur of drinks onboard, which they didn't. "Hm? I suppose you could, if you really wanted to. At most I'd imagine it equates to about two drinks, certainly not enough to have any adverse effects." Normally alcohol with anti-depressants was an awful idea, downright refused for someone taking the medications. From what he'd been told by his employee however this particular drink wasn't very high in proof, and such a small amount therefore couldn't be that bad. After pouring out three glasses he placed the bottle on the side, taking his own seat and beginning to help himself to food. Not after Yumi went after it with a gusto, filling her plate with a decent sized meal. "Easy there Yumi, that plate weighs more than you do now," Vegeta joked, beginning to dig in himself.

Yumi saw nothing wrong with her food, it was the same amount that she would normally have with the boys. Maybe a little more, she couldn't tell, not that she cared either way. "Oh shut up, it's not that much," she retorted, sticking out her tongue before taking a bite. It was a bit surprising, no one else had come running at the mention of food. Somehow people had this uncanny habit of appearing whenever a meal was made, but it was just the three of them. Something had everyone else preoccupied then, she wondered just what it might be. "Vegeta and I won't eat all of this! We can put down a lot but come on, this is a bit much even for us. If you're having trouble eating though..." Setting down her utensils she grabbed Viral's plate, filling it with far smaller portions than she had taken. With a whimsical smile, Yumi grabbed Viral's fork as well and diced up the fish, skewering a small piece and holding it up for him. "Choo choo, here comes the train!" she teased, suppressing a giggle as she waved the food about, "Open up, it's yummy!"

"Yeah, yeah... Whatever. Just be lucky I like you, otherwise I'd kick your ass," Takeshi grumbled, giving Choi a slight shove. Annoyed though he may be a smile broke out on his lips, able to find a bit of humor in being taunted. It was been a fun spar, much more so than he would have thought it would be. Rolling his eyes dramatically he shook his head, "Yeah, blindsiding someone with a weight takes loads of skill. Sorry I don't walk into every room expecting to be decapitated by workout equipment." Hmph, that wasn't fair holding that against him. If that was the case then he would tease Choi about nearly tripping over himself while watching Yumi exercise. Yeah, he'd seen it, his friend was a horndog. Off to the side he noticed a brooding Shu and Kai, having no idea what that was all about. Shrugging his shoulders he exchanged a look with Choi before going over to figure things out. Immediately he got the impression Shu had done something, and Takeshi had to ask to figure it out. It was Kai though who gave him the answer he wanted, and it made the older boy sigh before placing his face in the palm of his hand. "Right... Well that's new," he mumbled, glancing down at Shu again. "Food sounds good right about now, I'll deal with Shu." Reaching down he grabbed the back of his brother's pants by the waistband, hoisting him up onto his feet before smiling slightly, "Let's go get some food. i bet it'll taste better than Kai did."

"Yeah, uh, no problem!" Kabocha replied, smiling awkwardly as he gave a thumbs up. He wasn't exactly used to being thanked for things, it was a strange change of pace. Why did T'charrl look so nervous anyways? They were done fighting and yet he looked edgy, was he missing something? Glancing around a bit and not finding anything he frowned, "Uh... Okay then. I guess we'll see you later?" What an odd guy, he was fine just a moment ago. Sure he felt tired too, but not to the point he had to go and rest. Shrugging his shoulders he waved off the Kaesstrian, cringing when a voice shouted near directly behind him, turning his head to glare at Takeshi.

"T'charrl, where you going bud?" Takeshi called, ignoring Kabocha entirely as he waved their friend down. "Come on, we're going to go eat, come with us! There will be fruit, you know, not all meat. Hang around for a bit, you never do!"
Vegeta knew he was no chef, but he was darn proud of what he'd put together. He wouldn't mention the cookbook he'd used to craft this meal, that could be his little secret. Though anyone who knew him would know this wasn't something that he'd be capable of making anyways so it didn't need to be said. Yumi was trying to be helpful and deliver the trays, nothing bad about that. Except for nearly knocking him over in the process, it would have been such a waste to drop all the food on the floor. Managing to salvage it by just a thread he breathed a sigh of relief, setting the trays orderly on top of the table. "Eat as much or as little as you'd like, there's more than enough for the three of us," Vegeta said, placing the last of the trays aside. There was one thing he was forgetting, and fetching a dark bottle from the kitchen he brought it out, brandishing it in front of Viral. "One drink won't be detrimental to your health," he began, popping the cap off of the bottle, "And as I said, we've got something to be optimistic about, that calls for some celebration. Now... Neither myself or Yumi are drinkers, mind you, so we may not even finish our own glasses. But don't let that deter you." Slowly he filled each glass about 3/4 of the way up, giving the bottle a curious sniff when he had finished. By the scent alone Vegeta could tell he wasn't wild about it, but it was an occasion, he would at least try. "Get food first, then drink," he added, sitting across from Viral.

Yumi didn't need to be told twice to help herself to food. With it out in front of her it was all she could do not to drool, it looked really tasty. Accepting the glass of liquor from Vegeta she glanced down at it, not entirely sure what to make of the drink. She'd never had a drop, unless you counted that weird drink on Pagonia. If they were drinking for Viral she might have it, otherwise she'd set it aside and forget about it. Grabbing her plate she began to fill it up liberally, not shy about how much she was taking. Once content with her serving she planted herself in her chair, saying thanks before beginning to dig in. "I wonder what everyone else is up to right now..." she said halfway through a bite of food, pausing to chew, "I mean... Usually the sheer mention of food makes everyone run up here, but we're the only ones. Figure they're goofing off or training?" Just like what she and Viral were going to be doing, only far less rigorous. Soon though Viral would be right there with everyone else, what with Vegeta getting closer and closer to fixing him. Wiping her mouth carefully with the palm of her hand she smiled, "How mad do you think they'd be if they come up here and we've eaten everything?"

"No way, you say it!" Takeshi snapped back, pushing at Choi's chin as he tried to get his friend off of him. He'd heard Kabocha and glanced over as well, making a face at the other boy's comments. Feeling then a weight lift off of him he looked back at Choi, managing a slight smile as he sat up. "Yeah, as if I'd give up training against someone like you," he teased, rising to his feet and brushing his clothes down. Leaning in slightly he nudged his friend in the shoulders, giving him a puzzled look, "And when the hell did you become... Not weak? I don't remember having to try so hard against you before." It was nice, in a way, it meant more competition. Plus it was reassuring to know that his friends hadn't just been lazing around and not practicing. It was kind of fun, this match, frustrations aside. Chuckling to himself, Takeshi gave Choi a playful shove before hurrying away, going over to Shu and giving his younger brother a curious look. Kai seemed miffed about something and Shu just had this look on his face that said he goofed somewhere along the lines. Placing his hands on his hips he leaned down, tilting his head curiously. "So... What did you do that's making Kai all moody, huh? Fling poo at him?"

So everyone was done with their training, it looked like. A fairly long session far as Kabocha could tell, and a bit intense to boot. Sure beat just taking turns with the twins, it was good to have a change of pace. Maybe next time he'd take on Takeshi, or Shu if he had a death wish. Though Kai was in one piece, maybe fighting the squirt wasn't nearly as scary as they thought it to be. "Even if you're not, you're close! Way closer than I thought you'd be," he said, "You're definitely not the same T'charrl we left Kaesstra with. Well... In more way than one." Figuring discussing his changes might be a touchy subject Kabocha stopped himself there, letting the conversation take a change of pace. Smiling slightly he lifted his shoulders in a shrug, "Just trying to be helpful, that's me, the helpful guy," he mused, lifting his arms up in a stretch. "Ah... Of course it was worth it, training always is. You'll get stronger from it, even if you don't notice it immediately."
Yumi didn't know what she was more excited for, sparring with Viral... Or food. It wasn't until she caught wind of what Vegeta was making that her stomach rumbled and she realized she was more than ready for a meal. Resisting the urge to lick her lips out of anticipation she squirmed slightly in her seat, glancing over at the Beastman with a smile. "You are my concern, plain and simple. And don't feel guilty for that, I know how you are," she warned, wagging a finger in Viral's face before folding her arms, "It's no problem at all to have someone worry about you, it's what friends and family do. It's natural, as natural as the sun, or the water or animals. And you do need fuel! How else are we going to spar if you don't have energy?" It would be a bunch of flailing about and mindlessly slapping, if anything else. Plus... She was going to eat, she was hungry. And it was just rude to eat in front of someone who wasn't eating as well. Sure, Vegeta would be joining them, but she wanted Viral to eat as well. Turning around in her seat Yumi smiled excitably, getting up and going over to the swinging doors just as Vegeta was coming out with his arms full of trays. "Food! Here, let me help you with that!" she said, taking a set of trays hastily.

"Wait Yumi, I'm not exactly balanced!" Vegeta warned, his eyes widening as weight was taken off of his left arm. Wobbling slightly he looked at the remaining trays nervously, trying to balance them again and eventually succeeding. Sighing softly he shook his head, continuing over to the table where he began setting them down one by one before Viral. "Please don't do that, it's difficult to carry that many as it is," he said, glancing over at a meek Yumi. Pulling off the lids for each container he placed them in a pile off to the side, waving his hand a bit and blowing on it from holding the hot metal. Foolish of him for not bringing gloves, an afterthought that was too little too late. All of the food was seen to, but they needed one more thing. Going back to the kitchen he disappeared through the doors, coming back with a few glasses and a brownish bottle. Smiling slightly he set the bottle and glasses down, looking at Viral. "I know I normally forbid alcohol, but... I think that we can have just a single drink, as a celebration. I'm getting ahead of myself with this genetics business, but I can't help but be optimistic."

Takeshi didn't expect to be so level with Choi, it was frustrating. Not because he hated being equal to his friend, that wasn't the issue really. How was he going to be able to keep Shu and the others safe when he wasn't stronger than anyone? Granted they weren't using Ki, that could create a bigger gap, but even so... Without Ki there were differences in strength, and his and Choi's were so marginal they seemed even. Trading blow for blow, blocking and dodging one another, it was a pretty drawn out spar. A bit out of lack of patience and more so out of a want to finish up he tried a different move, throwing an arm around instead of just going for another punch. He missed Choi's head and smacked the boy in the shoulder, hard enough to make him stumble away. Smiling he watched his opponent barely catch himself, before his smile waned when Choi abruptly charged at him. Trying to grab his friend before he could make it he missed, and the two went to the ground with a thud. Growling in annoyance, Takeshi tried to push Choi off of him, the pair rolling as they vied for control. "Agh, get off me you moron!" he snapped, still trying to either pin or push off Choi, "I thought we weren't grappling."

Still in one piece and not drained of energy, Kabocha was pretty happy with that outcome. It was a decent match all things considered, better than he expected even. He wouldn't have thought in a million years that T'charrl would stack up to the rest of their group, he just didn't think Kaesstrians had it in them. If this was what they were capable of then the King made a huge mistake in leaving them alone all this time. "You'll be right next to us kicking some butt," he said, smiling as he helped T'charrl to his feet, "You're still not as strong as us Saiyans, mind you... But you're close." He didn't want T'charrl getting a big head, even if he had managed to be an equal. For a short spar Kabocha noted he was feeling a bit more tired than he'd thought, not entirely sure why that was. Brushing it off as just his imagination he wiped some sweat from his face, looking over at the only pair still going, Takeshi and Choi. Were they trying to cuddle or fight? He couldn't tell. "Hey, you did well! Seriously, you gave me way more of a work out than I thought you would," Kabocha replied, before looking over to the others and shouting, "Either you two kiss or finish up, we're all done!"
Yumi wasn't just trying to make Viral feel good, she really wasn't concerned about him changing. Before it had been because of his energy going nuts, and right now he didn't appear to have very much of that. Plus she wouldn't push him to changing, it would be as casual a spar as possible. Giving Viral a playful flick of the nose when he laid his head down she smiled innocently, happy to hear he would agree to her idea. "You're saying that like I haven't been fighting my entire life. I'll be fine, seriously. I'm not some flower who can't take a few hits." Hell, she'd fought with Saiyans before, her boyfriend even to be exact. Yumi was no stranger to being injured, and if all it took was some cuts and bruises to deter her then she'd have given up a long time ago. Catching a waft of food she lifted her head a little, sniffing the air before sighing happily. "That smells so yummy... I hope it's almost done..." Must be if she was smelling it, that meant it was out of the oven. Squirming slightly in her seat in excitement Yumi looked back at Viral, "We'll find an empty room after this and go spar, if you're still up for it. Hopefully you feel better after getting some food in your stomach!"

"Big things come in small packages, ever hear that? Shu's tiny but he packs a punch," Takeshi retorted. If he still had them he could show all of his bruises and bumps he'd gotten from sparring with Shu. It really wasn't like fighting anyone else, the little guy had a style all his own. He almost wanted to call it erratic, but surely Shu had a method to how he fought. Otherwise it would just be flailing, and flailing about was never that effective. And again with the taunting! It was awfully hard to be calm and relaxed when Choi was slinging taunts like that. Now he really was going to pummel his friend. Taking the head on approach he darted in straight ahead, throwing a spinning kick with his weight behind it. He wouldn't boost his speed anymore, sure, but he also wasn't going to hold back on his strikes. He'd make Choi wish he hadn't said anything about the speed boost. Connecting with Choi's arm, Takeshi quickly dropped down to the ground, falling low as he avoided a kick in return. Standing he leaned to the side as another punch came his way, trying to grab hold of Choi's fist and throw one of his own, his fist colliding with Choi's. Releasing the other hand he continued to dodge back and forth, able to avoid but not really attack for now. After a few seconds of continued assault he tried to get in by stepping quickly to the side, swinging out his arm and trying to smack away Choi with the back of his forearm.

Kabocha was all for winning a sparring match, but maiming a teammate wasn't on the list. More so, he really didn't want to piss off T'charrl and have a giant, angry insect hunting him down. After knocking over the Kaesstrian he hurried to his friend's side, apologizing promptly. Thankfully everything seemed good, no becoming bug food today. Smiling he let out a relieved sigh, rubbing the back of his neck, "Heh... Yeah, I didn't think you could fight that well honestly. Though after the way you thrashed the General I guess I shouldn't be all that surprised." T'charrl was awfully close to a Saiyan level of power, and he didn't mean just any old Saiyan. A battle hardened one, someone like them. Compared to where the Kaesstrian had been before changing this was one hell of an improvement. Did it come because of this form though, Kabocha wondered. And if it did there was no knowing if he'd keep or lose his new power when he changed back. "If you want to stop now sure, I don't mind!" he replied, smirking as he offered to help T'charrl up, "How about we call it a draw for now? That was pretty damn close."
Yumi saw nothing wrong with bringing some toys with her onboard, it gave them something to kill time when nothing was going on. Plus they were genuinely fun, just not quite as fun as training or visiting new worlds. "Have you ever known me to wear makeup?" Yumi asked, making a face at Viral before smiling, "Of course I didn't bring any, silly. I wouldn't even know what to do with it if I did, I haven't put any on since I was a little girl." That and dresses, it just never appealed to her. Anything super 'girly' had never been her cup of tea, she was more of a boy in some regards. Well... Aside from liking boys. Then again boys could like boys, though that was... Okay, her mind was running away from her now, back on topic! Shaking her head she smiled at Viral, reaching up and trying to flick the tip of his nose playfully. "If you can be so precise with those claws to just get my eyes then my hat's off to you," she joked, giggling a bit. "If I was concerned about this going bad then I wouldn't risk it. I mean, I'm not stupid, I've seen what happens when you change. But I don't think that will happen, we'll take it nice and easy to make sure it doesn't."

Choi was being a real pain, and all because he'd just gotten a little boost of speed. Takeshi was trying to level the playing field to begin with, now it was just back to the way it was before. It was easy for him to get angry over it as he did, but he reminded himself to relax unless he wanted to go all wild over being miffed. Point made anyways, he wouldn't use Ki in any shape or form during their match, even if he still saw nothing inherently wrong with what he did. "If you were both fighting me then Shu would be with me," he pointed out, playing on Choi's fear of the younger boy. Shu was basically attached at his hip, he'd be right there whether he wanted the little guy to be or not. Taking another fighting stance to get ready, a blood vessel on Takeshi's forehead pulsed at Choi's teasing, making him close his eyes and grit his teeth. "Shu doesn't have to give himself boosts with me," he replied, smiling tightly as he stared at Choi, "Because he's faster than me, and almost as strong. So it's fine when I do it with him." Since he wasn't going to be using speed he might as well play to his own advantages and just try clobbering Choi. Darting in he jumped off and forward, twisting around and trying to slam his leg into Choi's side.

T'charrl was really strong, it was kind of like sparring with Takeshi. The best way around that then was to use speed, try and confuse his opponent and put him on guard. But how should he go about that... Fast as he could be Kabocha knew darting straight in was a bad idea, it would only take one solid hit from the Kaesstrian to send him flying. If he could throw his friend off somehow then he'd get an opening, and that's how he'd fight this. Beginning to circle around T'charrl he made use of the afterimage technique, leaving fading silhouettes of himself all over. His plan was to come up behind T'charrl and try knocking him down, immobilize him so he couldn't hit back. Once directly behind the alien, Kabocha jumped in, tackling with his shoulder to try knocking his opponent down. It worked, perhaps a bit too well. Feeling himself connect with a solid figure he shot right over T'charrl's falling form, catching himself on his feet as he skid slightly. The sound of the Kaesstrian hitting the floor carried fairly well, and with an inward wince he looked over, smiling nervously as he scratched his cheek. "Uh... You okay? I hit an orb again didn't I?"
"I didn't smuggle that much... Just enough to keep myself entertained, that's all!" Yumi said, smiling sheepishly, "You can't blame a girl for bringing some things with her. And at least it wasn't just makeup and clothes, now that would be useless junk." The games and movies were something that everyone on board could use for fun, friends and crew alike. Though the crew probably would have no clue what half of it was, and come to think of it neither would most of the Saiyans. Did they have things like air hockey back on Kortal? She couldn't remember, she'd never seen one. Then again her time there was hardly luxurious, she'd barely seen anything. Sticking her tongue out playfully at Viral she shrugged her shoulders, not feeling the need to defend her 'smuggling'. They had plenty of down time, everyone would be thanking her for bringing things along later. Games didn't sound like they were up Viral's alley, so those were out of the question. Yumi had a pretty good idea what he would enjoy though, even if it was against Vegeta's wishes. Smiling slyly she leaned in and whispered, shrugging her shoulders, "You aren't going to hurt me. I mean... I might get bruises or a scrape, but that's normal sparring stuff," she said, winking at Viral. "You know you want to. It'll be fun, we'll just do some simple sparring to pass the time, no way is something like that going to be risky."

Takeshi got to enjoy an advantage if only for a moment, now Choi was in on it too. And of course he didn't see it as justified for his doing it first, he was becoming annoyed over it. Speedy as his friend was now it was nigh impossible to catch him, let alone hit him. It was awfully frustrating, he had to get Choi away if he was ever going to get back in this. The only thing he could think to do then was kick out in an arch, wide enough that he would hit and hard enough to force the other boy away. It worked, and finally the pummeling ceased as he stood still, his arms still slightly raised. Peering between his forearms Takeshi scowled before pointing at Choi angrily, "I only hit you once you jerk! You kept hitting me!" he complained, sounding all indignant. "And you're already faster than I am, so what the hell?!" So not fair, how was he supposed to compete with that? Wanting quite badly to lash out at Choi again he stepped forward before stopping, warning himself that his anger was getting a bit out there. Stepping back instead he closed his eyes, groaning as he pinched the bridge of his nose. Doing his best to calm down he took a few deep breaths, bringing his energy back to its normal levels before he looked back at Choi. "Just... Drop it back down, alright? I won't use Ki again, promise."

It was really nice that T'charrl was on their side, Kabocha had absolutely no desire to fight the Kaesstrian for real. Being kicked away like a ball was pretty astonishing, especially when the Kaesstrian had next to no space to really put any swing into that kick, it was all raw power. Shaking his stinging hands he glanced down, trying to decide how best to approach this. T'charrl was really strong, he would have to do his best to avoid being hit. Flying back down then he extended one leg, trying to kick down at the alien. To his chagrin his foot was blocked then grabbed, making Kabocha flop awkwardly in mid air. Not wanting to give any chance for something to happen he swung his body, kicking one of T'charrl's arms with his other leg to break the grip before landing away. Hm... There had to be some weak point aside from those orbs, someway he could attack without getting tossed around. Four arms though... Front attacks were probably a lousy idea. But... What about the back? Smirking at an idea he dashed to the side, picking up speed as he kept moving until he was circling, leaving afterimages here and there. When he was directly behind T'charrl he lashed out, trying to tackle from behind and knock the Kaesstrian over.
Yumi did plenty of things for fun... For herself. It was harder to figure out just what Viral might find enjoyable. Going out and battling was off the table, shame since he'd probably enjoy it. That meant something sedentary, and she knew already the Beastman wasn't going to love any of her ideas. "No, not Saiyan, we brought some of our own with us!" she said proudly, smiling, "I don't know if there's any you'll like, but we brought as many as we could fit into a box. And the recreation room has a few other things too, pool and things like that. It's nothing special, but it's better than sitting around and doing nothing, right?" Until he got better Viral would have to learn to accept doing things like this, or be bored out of his mind. Vegeta went back to cooking, leaving her and Viral alone again. Yumi felt like they ought to be talking about something, but had no idea how to start. It was hard anyways to have any conversation with the Beastman when he didn't show interest in anything. Biting her lower lip in thought she clicked her fingers, looking back at Viral with a smile. "Oh! I know what we can do..." she whispered, leaning in close while taking a glance towards the kitchen, "We can't really fight... Buuuut... I bet we can do just a tiny bit of sparring, just the two of us. If Vegeta is sleeping he can't watch now can he?"

It wasn't really cheating, using Ki like this. If Takeshi had blasted Choi with an attack then that would be another thing. A speed boost wasn't all that unfair either, he just made himself a bit quicker, closer to Shu's speed level. Now he could pound away at his friend liberally, dashing around and having a blast doing so. He wasn't here to clown around, too much, they were sparring. Getting back into the swing of things, literally, he moved in and grabbed a hold of Choi. With a twist of his body he lifted the other Saiyan off of his feet, spinning before letting go and sending him flying off haplessly. He stopped himself, and Choi looked might pissed floating there. "Oh, I'm done huh?" Takeshi asked, grinning as he leaned forward and waved a hand dismissively, "Whatever you say. I'm fine when you don't have your brother." Laughing to himself he looked away for just a second, and when he looked back Choi was gone. Blinking in confusion he felt a sudden energy at his side, and just managed to block a punch at his head. His opponent was gone after that immediately, and he was struck in the back instead. Swinging a fist around he only caught air, nearly falling over when he was smacked in the side. Growling in annoyance he was hit a few more times, finding himself once again slower of the two. Annoyed, Takeshi tried to find where Choi was next, and when he did attempted to do a sweeping kick to knock the boy away, "Piss off will you?!"

"Uh... You sure you're fine? Should I be hitting those things?" Kabocha asked, looking at the orb uneasily. He still had no clue what they were, only that they appeared after T'charrl had absorbed energy. Did they sap energy too? Oh crap, were they sapping his energy?! The Kaesstrian wanted to keep going regardless, and he wasn't one to just back down from a fight, even if it was a simple spar. Rushing back in he began to throw a series of punches, something easy just to keep T'charrl on the defensive. For a while it worked and the Kaesstrian couldn't do anything, but after a bit he went on the offensive himself. Now it was Kabocha who was having to block, only able to get a hit in now and again. Focusing mostly on the four arms coming at him he did nothing about the kick coming his way, not until it was going to hit him. Putting his hands down he was lifted up off his feet by the force, being sent flying up into he air and tumbling a bit as a result. Catching himself he looked down, amazed by how strong that had been, T'charrl had barely had any room to make that. "Tch... Damn he got strong..." he mumbled, glancing down at his reddened, stinging hands. Smiling slightly he gave them a shake before darting down at T'charrl, one leg extended as he tried to kick straight down at his friend.
Transforming was a bad idea, Vegeta would openly admit that. "Heh... Perhaps I could use a little rest after all," he said, smiling sheepishly as he rubbed at his face. He was hardly at the top of his game when he was making faulty suggestions, it would be best for everyone if he went and took a nap after this. When had he last slept anyways? Soundly, that is. Last night had been a whole 3 hours, not much considering he'd been up for about 15 now. If he was going to go rest then Viral needed to find something else to do for the time being. Either retire to his room or go with Yumi, those were the only two that immediately came to mind. "Perhaps you could stay with Yumi? Unless you're tired I'm sure she won't mind spending time with you," he suggested, glancing over at her for confirmation. "It isn't as if the tests I'll be running need you present anyways. I'd hate to make you sit around any more than I already do."

"Yeah, I'm sure we could find something to do Viral," Yumi added, smiling kindly, "Whatever you're in the mood for I'm fine with, I don't feel like just going back to my room either." Training was likely off the table in his current state, as would any physical activity most likely. Well, there was always the library, though neither of them were exactly avid readers. One thing that really stunk about being onboard a ship was you couldn't go very far, so exploring or taking a nice walk outside was out of the question, unless they felt like suffocating. Tapping her chin thoughtfully with a finger she cocked her head to the side, humming lightly. "We coooould... Oh I don't know, maybe see if there's movies or anything in the recreation room? Or find some games or something, just something to pass the time." She was open to anything, so long as it wasn't detrimental to Viral's well being.

Vegeta figured he was about done with Viral for the day, Yumi was more than capable of taking things from here. It was a bit disheartening, thinking the Beastman needed what was essentially a caregiver. Well, not that he would need one for much longer. This genetic therapy would work out, it just had too. Viral had been suffering for much too long, it was owed to him by now that he get better. Whatever higher power there might be he'd get on his hands and knees and beg if that was what it took, he would go to that extreme to see Viral healthy again. "I'll let you two sort your plans out, I'm going to check on the food," Vegeta said, getting up from his seat, "If I do need you Viral I'll come get you. Likewise, if you need me then let someone know and I'll come to where you are." No sense in making the Beastman run around, those who were in better health could do that for him. Giving his friend a pat on the shoulder he went back to the kitchen, checking on the food to see how it was coming along.

Sure, using Ki as attacks was pretty much off limits, that was a given. But no one said anything about using it to bolster speed. Besides, Takeshi knew he was one of the slowest of the group, so really how bad was it giving himself a speed boost? Being pummeled by Choi was hardly his idea of a good time, so with a bit of a surge he jumped up and vanished, circling as he debated on what to do. Grinning at an idea he landed just before the other boy, cocking an arm back and throwing an uppercut. As he expected it missed by a wide margin, as he'd hoped it would. Moving as quick as he could with his little boost he vanished, Choi punching through an afterimage instead of the real thing. This time around Takeshi stopped by Choi's side, crouched low as he tried to sweep the Saiyan's legs out from under him. If that worked he'd grab hold of his friend and begin to spin, hoping to get a bit of momentum before sending him flying.

So, being grabbed and pummeled on by a giant insect alien kind of sucked. Quite a bit actually, Kabocha wasn't having fun at all. T'charrl's grip was surprisingly solid as were his strikes, he was clearly not someone who was a pushover. Not that he had underestimated the Kaesstrian after seeing him fight before, but he'd just not expected this level of power. Having to break out of this hold somehow he pressed his feet against his comrade's chest, pushing with his legs to try and get free. When that did no good he instead gave a good hard kick, accidentally smacking the orb on T'charrl's chest. Wincing as he was released he moved away, worried what striking those repeatedly might do. Or worse still if he broke one, what would that cause? He was really going to need to be more mindful of where he hit. "I'm not stopping just because that hurt!" Kabocha said, dashing back in for another attack. He tried to come at T'charrl with just a flurry of punches, trying his damnedest not to strike any of the several orbs again.
