Yumi was just having a little fun, she didn't mean anything by what she was saying. They really did need to be safe just to be sure nothing bad happened to Viral, that was a given. Getting him hurt now would only undo all the work Vegeta had done which would obviously be bad. It wouldn't be a very intensive spar then, only something to loosen up the muscles and get the blood flowing. Perhaps she wouldn't even attack, just be on the defensive so Viral could get something of a workout. Since getting him to eat was proving to be impossible she took his plate and set it on her own, getting no complaints in that regard. Giving him a moment then to enjoy his wine she brought the rest of the dishes back into the kitchen, sorting them out carefully before rejoining the Beastman. "We're going to need to be safe during this, you know that right?" Yumi asked, placing her hands on her hips, "Nothing excessive or reckless, you need to stay healthy." At least he agreed with that, partially anyways. Good enough for her, so long as he didn't push himself then they could spar for as long as he wanted. Smiling kindly she reached out a hand, helping Viral up to his feet before slinging an arm around his waist, winking at him playfully. "Just in case you can't walk on your own, I'll help you. I don't want you stumbling and falling down after your drink," she teased, sticking out her tongue.

"Yeah... Yulians are kinda all meatheads, huh?" Kabocha mused, chuckling to himself, "Don't see a ton of them though. Wonder why... They're not that bad at fighting." The King never really utilized Yulians despite them being one of the peoples under Saiyan rule. In fact excluding Leto, Kabocha could only count two other Yulians that he had ever seen, and was pretty sure one was dead now. Couldn't remember what had happened to the guy, probably nothing pleasant though, nothing that involved dying was. "Shu would make a hell of a soldier if he could control himself. Imagine if he didn't go all nuts when he changed? He'd have that power and he'd be able to use it, that's probably almost as dangerous as the King, don't you think?" That gave him a good shudder, he'd really prefer not to envision that at all. At least though if that were the case then they were safe, it was the enemy that really had to be concerned. All of their problems seemed to be about someone not being able to control themselves. Viral, Shu, T'charrl, all were at risk of going on a rampage. Sheesh... Kabocha almost felt like it had been safer back on Kortal in the Saiyan military. Elites might knock you around, sure, but they wouldn't maul you unless you really messed up. "Technically Takeshi does get erratic too, when he gets super angry. Oh great, both brothers are crazy..."

"Of course we can play, knucklehead," Takeshi said, smiling as he ruffled Shu's hair, "But only after we eat, okay? We've got to get some energy in us before we do anything else, then we can play. And after that I really wanna take a nap." More or less to kill time, being stuck on a ship all the time was beginning to get really old. He wasn't even sure where their next destination was so there was no knowing just how much longer they would be in this thing. Having the chance to fly out in the open was too good to pass up, as such he was itching to land somewhere by now. Reaching out for the door to the mess hall he frowned when it opened up on its own, blinking confused and looking up, coming face to face with Yumi and Viral. "Oh hey guys! What's up?" he asked, grinning as he backed out of the way. Viral looked as cheerful as ever, but at least he seemed better than he had back on Pagonia. Standing on his own two feet, sort of.

Yumi didn't want to get too far away from Vegeta, just in case something did go wrong. All optimism aside she knew there was a real chance something might happen, something that could seriously cause some problems. So long as their spar was nice and slow nothing should go wrong, hopefully. With an arm still around her friend she led him to the exit, pulling open the doors and stepping out alongside Viral... And nearly into Takeshi. A bit surprised she looked at the boy puzzled, then even more so when she noticed everyone behind him. Cocking her head to the side slightly Yumi smiled a bit, not quite sure what to say. "Uh... I could ask you the same thing..." she remarked, glancing at everyone before back at Takeshi, "Coming to get something to eat? Here, we'll get out of your way." Easing Viral out they moved to the side of the door, with Yumi waving them inside once they were out of the way. She didn't want anyone finding out and perhaps telling Vegeta, that would really make a mess of things. "Hey, uh... If Vegeta needs either of us, we'll be in my room, okay? Just in my room, relaxing and doing nothing else." Feeling slightly nervous she smiled again, tugging Viral along at a slightly hurried pace to get out of there. Not her smoothest exit, but none of them would know what she was bumbling about.
Viral looked to be awfully keen on drinking, shame he couldn't take to food as highly. With any luck they could get treatment started soon, and with that the Beastman would begin eating regularly. In good health he would eat as often as Vegeta and Yumi did, even if he may not have been necessarily hungry. Another thing that Viral seemed to miss is eating wasn't just for getting some nutrition, it was a bit of a social event. Particularly now when their group had broken into smaller sects, eating was the one occasion that everyone sort of came back together again. Not eating in a way meant exclusion from those events, even if you were present at the time. Ah, but Vegeta was getting away from himself, thinking too much into it as usual. Gathering up his dishes he made way towards the kitchen, but not before making a few remarks on Viral. Smiling amused at the rebuttal he shook his head, "I can sleep when I collapse from exhaustion. There's work to be done, and that can't wait." Disappearing through the doors he placed his dishes in the sink, leaving them be for the time being. "But... If it will help ease your mind," Vegeta added, coming back into the dining hall, "Then I'll take a short nap. You two behave now."

Even Yumi had to roll her eyes at Vegeta's chiding. She knew he meant well but sheesh, Viral wasn't a baby and neither was she. All the same she smiled at her lifelong friend, giving a nod of her head as he was walking out. "We'll be good, don't worry! Go get some sleep, you get all motherly when you're tired!" she called after him, laughing as he made a face at her before disappearing. That was bit of a lie, their behaving, because shortly they were going to be doing anything but. No way was she going to go back on her word either and tell Viral the deal was off, especially since she wanted to spar a bit too. Waiting just to make doubly sure they were alone she glanced over at the Beastman knowingly, taking his plate and setting it on her own. "Guessing you're done eating, which means as soon as you finish that we can go uh... Exercise," Yumi said, winking playfully, "And I'm going to pull a Vegeta here, but if I say we should stop then please don't get angry? I just want to be safe, that's all." It would be impossible to hide her betrayal of Vegeta's trust if Viral ended up hurt or in worse condition from all of this. More the knowledge that he would be disappointed in her over anything else was what she wanted to avoid in particular. "Ready to go?"

Every time they talked about this anger thing Shu got all depressed. Takeshi didn't like doing it but it was necessary, they couldn't avoid the topic. This all could end up like Viral's issue where it just got worse over time, he really didn't want to chance that. Telling the little guy that was only going to make his mood even worse, so he kept that thought to himself. Maybe a nice warm meal and some casual chatter would help ease the tension, then they could either try again or let it lie for the day. The latter was probably for the best since it would be better to get input from the others before he tried anything again. "Alright, no silly faces, but uh... Can you not hold onto me like that? It's hard to walk," Takeshi said, smiling apologetically as Shu released him. Fixing his clothing he reached out and ruffled Shu's hair gently, "Don't be sorry buddy, it's fine." It was always such a downer seeing Shu like this, it just made the older boy feel twice as bad. There had to be a way he could fix this, something to make his sibling happy again. Up ahead he saw the entrance to the mess hall, and what's more Vegeta leaving it. Shame the guy was so far ahead, otherwise he'd call him over and have him join them for a meal. "How's about we play a little after lunch? Just the two of us, we can play tag, or hide and seek, whatever you want." Surely playing one of Shu's little games couldn't be all bad, right?

"You don't have to be smart to beat someone up, just look at that big muscley guy in the rebels..." Kabocha pointed out, frowning at the idea of Leto. That guy was only imposing because of his sheer size, though he understood the Yulian was moderately strong in his own right too. Just proof of concept that you didn't need brains to be dangerous. And in his personal experience it was often the dumb ones that were the most worrisome. "Damn straight Shu is crazier... That kid is practically a wild animal compared to us..." he mumbled, glancing ahead again at the brothers. "Good heart and all, but a bit on the nuts side... And don't say that! If that little guy got out of control then I wouldn't even want to be on the same planet as him. Nope, I'd be as far away as possible in a heartbeat." That Oozaru form of Shu's was enough to make some top Elites worry, and anything that strong was well beyond their handling. Much as he might side with Takeshi right now he wasn't so sure he'd hang around and help if the young Prince went all bonkers and attacked. "We can only hope that doesn't happen, I guess. Maybe they'll sort him out before long and we won't have to worry about it anymore!"
Viral eating food was good, great even. He would get energy, fill himself up, and maybe a nice proper meal would even improve his mood a bit. Now eating silverware on the other hand, that was up for debate. Tugging on the spoon she eventually managed to get it free of Viral's teeth, setting it on the table with a slight smile. Not quite what she had in mind for feeding him, maybe they should wait a bit before trying again. "Uh... Well you have had some of your food, so maybe you can have it now..." she mumbled, looking first to the alcohol then Vegeta, biting her lip uncertainly. He seemed fine with it even if she wasn't completely certain herself, but if he was okay then it ought to be alright. Grabbing the glass she slid it closer to Viral, looking up at him a bit concerned. "Just the one glass, right...?" Yumi asked, "Then maybe a bit more food before we leave, that sound alright?" And then to training, if they were both still up for it. Hopefully Viral wouldn't try drinking more than he had since they were going to spar, they couldn't well do any training if he was tipsy.

"Just the one drink, no more than that," Vegeta interjected, setting his fork down on his now empty plate, "I'm sure you don't need to be told that though. Just because it's a celebration doesn't mean we should overdo it." He'd drank his own glass in its entirety, not even realizing he had. It wasn't enough to make his head spin at all even as a non drinker, but he certainly noticed the effects a bit. Now he needed to get back to work, meaning that Viral was now in Yumi's hands for the remainder of the day. Scooping up his dishes he grabbed the bottle in the other hand, using his foot to push his chair in. "If I find anything I'll come get you the moment I do, alright? Though don't expect it to be immediate, there's still a fair amount of work to do." Having come down from his slight euphoria at finding the genetic anomalies Vegeta could think more clearly and appreciated how much work was ahead of him. A solution was likely still a week away, perhaps a bit more even. Time frame aside it was coming, that much he knew. "And Viral? If anything feels off, you know where I'll be. Just ask Yumi to bring you if you need anything."

Okay, so springing a funny face on Shu wasn't the way to go about making him laugh. Tickling had sort of made him laugh before, but also had some rather unwelcome repercussions too. Plus that would just be silly to try doing that in the midst of a battle. Having Shu latch onto him like this was mighty inconvenient, he couldn't move his arms for the life of him now without forcing his brother off. "So I'm not making you feel better? At all?" Takeshi asked, smiling sadly, "Man, that's a shame... Okay, so silly faces are out." No tickling, no stupid faces and gods know he didn't have any jokes. Not that Shu would probably get half of them anyways unless they involved poop in some shape or form. Sighing he began to walk towards the mess hall again, a bit stiffly with his brother clung onto him. Sighing softly he glanced down at his leech of a brother, trying to passively free his arms up. "You know you can let go of me... Right? If you really want a ride get on my back will ya?"

Maybe Kabocha was being a bit paranoid over things, there may well not be any reason to worry at all. Either that or he could be onto something and no one would listen. It was hard to say, having grown up in a noble family. You were always trying to decide who it was best to side with, who would ultimately see you and yours bettered by allying with them. The King was going down one way or another, so fighting for him was out of the question. Not that he ever liked the jerk to begin with. But really, how could they be so sure things would work out between Takeshi and Shu? "Yeah, because if they can beat a Super Saiyan they're going to be so afraid of giant bugs," Kabocha remarked, rolling his eyes before frowning, "Sure, now he doesn't look bad. But what if Takeshi becomes King and uses his brother as a sort of weapon? Be real here guys, look who their dad is. We don't know for sure if they've gotten any of his craziness or not." All he was trying to do was be safe, have a backup plan if this whole group thing didn't pan out. "Not saying they're guaranteed to go nuts, but... I guess just keep it in mind, yeah?"
"If you can focus when I talk maybe I should keep talking? Or hum, or something. If noise helps then I can figure something out." They could always try something else too if Viral didn't want to hear her chattering away all day. Personally she had no desire to do that anyways. Maybe music could help him out some, if they could find a personal music player he could carry it around and use that. Yumi wasn't sure though, was Viral even a fan of music? She tried to think of a single instance where he had been enjoying some but came up blank, maybe he only ever did it in private. Narrowing her eyes she stared at the Beastman curiously for a moment as if trying to silently find out what he listened to, what fit his personality. When he spoke again she jumped slightly, thinking she'd been caught staring and looking away. "Maybe after some food you'll be able to concentrate better...? It could be you're just so hungry it's hard to focus right now. And if that's the case..." Yumi began, scooping up more food and offering it to Viral with a smile, "Eat up!" Watching then as he not only tried to eat the food but the spoon as well her eyes widened in surprise, gasping as she tried tugging the utensil free from Viral's grip. "Viral, eat the food, not the spoon!"

Takeshi could too be funny, he knew he could! Just because Shu might not have ever seen it didn't mean he had no sense of humor, he'd show his brother just how funny he could be. Taking their conversation in stride he thought over how best to go about it, trying and failing to come up with a joke. When that was a dead end he opted to resort to the simplest thing possible, turning suddenly and making a silly face at his brother. A squeal of surprise but no laugh, not even a giggle or chuckle! He was really trying with that one too, that wasn't fair! Looking at Shu exasperatedly he raised an eyebrow as the little guy backed off, wondering just what in the heck he was doing. Almost thinking Shu was going to run off he instead gasped when his younger sibling threw himself at him, his hands reflexively going down to cover his nether regions. Instead of being tackled he was simply grabbed onto, stumbling awkwardly now that his arms were pinned at his side, in a fairly compromising position nonetheless. "Funny? As in 'haha' funny or weird funny?" Takeshi asked, glancing down as he caught his footing. "And why the hell are you clinging onto me like this? It's weird!"

Finding the mother of the Princes wouldn't be easy, but it would really get them in with the to-be rulers of the Saiyans. "Hey, no one said it would be easy, but think of what we might get if we did it!" Kabocha said, looking at Kai before smiling snidely, "Really? I figured he just sort of threw her down then and there and boom, kids! You didn't have to tell me that, I know they snuck off somewhere. But a lady carries her kids for... What? 7 months? 8? Whatever, however long they do it someone had to have seen her in that time! And someone delivered them too, right?" It might just be him, but there was a feeling they really needed to secure some kind of goodwill with these two before this mess was over. Sure for now they were being helped and helping in turn, but that was over a common enemy. Kabocha wasn't exactly optimistic that once the King was gone from power they would still be in favor. "Friends...? I don't know... I mean sure, they haven't killed us, so I guess that makes us friends," he mumbled, folding his arms over his chest as he watched the odd display of the Princes. "Don't get me wrong, they're definitely better than the King. But what if they take power and turn out like him? Shouldn't we try getting a little leverage so we're safe?"
"I mean you're not sick-sick, like... Throwing up or anything. That's good, right? I guess you're sick in a different way..." Yumi mumbled, trying to explain her own thoughts, and failing pretty well. Pursing her lips in thought she decided the best thing to do was clam up for the moment, looking back at her own food as she ate a few bites. Okay so Viral was sick, but sick in a way that could be helped. Bad as his state may be there was a way to fix it, and Vegeta sounded as though he knew exactly what that was for the first time since this whole mess started. Swallowing back a last bite of her meal she scooped up some more for Viral, offering it over for him. "All things considered though you're not in bad shape. I mean... You can move on your own, and you're not all loopy and out of your mind. Sure, you're sore, and you feel a little weak, but it could be worse! So be glad that you're doing okay... Ish." She was really slipping on the whole 'reassuring' front right now. Laughing sheepishly she tried forcing the spoon into Viral's mouth, hoping to get him eating and just avoid awkward situations.

Coming up with an answer for Shu wasn't easy, especially since Takeshi had exhausted what little he knew about anger management. One thing he had over looked though was having fun, or even just getting a good laugh while being angry. Plenty of times, even recently he had been annoyed or angry and had been stopped from getting all in a fit because someone or something had made him laugh. Granted that wouldn't always work for Shu, someone couldn't be around for him all the time, but it might be good now and again. Letting his younger brother say his piece he frowned, folding his arms over his chest and giving an indignant huff. "I am too funny! You just can't appreciate good humor!" he retorted, turning his head away stubbornly. Hm, he could too make Shu laugh, but how? Smiling slightly at an idea he suddenly turned back to Shu, making a goofy face as he stuck out his tongue. "Blah! Who's not funny now?"

"We could find their mother, then we can probably learn about the King. Maybe the lady can even tell us how to beat him..." How humiliating would that be, to be taken down by your human wife. There was no better way for that jerk of a king to fall then by someone so much weaker than him, he might just die of embarrassment. "Eh? Well we ask around, duh! Come on, you really think no one on that whole planet knows anything? I mean he's the fricken King of Saiyans, someone had to have seen something, right? The guy is not exactly inconspicuous, he likes to make his presence known." Not that it didn't mean Yamate couldn't be discreet, but it just didn't seem in character for their former leader. Plus if Earth had its own fighters then someone ought to have sensed his power, meaning someone could say when he was there, and possibly even where. That could narrow their search significantly. "I don't know where, that's why I said we'd ask. Think about it too, if we find her then they owe us one," Kabocha added, gesturing towards Shu and Takeshi. "And if they become the rulers after their old man then we can call favors on the rulers of the Saiyans. How bad an idea does that sound?"
"Well... Yeah, we were still kids. But the point is you helped us, so now we're helping you!" Yumi reaffirmed, smiling as she lifted up the spoon, "So just shut up and let me help, okay? I promise it won't hurt!" She thought Viral was never going to just settle down and eat, it was a lot like trying to feed a toddler who didn't want food. To the contrary he reached out and grabbed her arm again in an attempt to lead the spoon to his mouth. Well... Putting food up your nose was one way of eating she supposed, albeit an incredibly difficult and unusual one. Eventually he did manage to get the food in his mouth, but that only lasted for a second as he nearly choked on it before swallowing it. It wasn't graceful, but Viral had managed to eat. "I don't know if I'd say you're sick..." Yumi answered, pausing as she scooped up some more fish, "Just... Unwell. You're not completely healthy right? So you're sick. But we can make you healthy again and we will, so don't be so bummed about it, because you'll be better soon!"

Tch, none of his suggestions were getting them anywhere. Takeshi really did wish he had the answer, he was wracking his brain for one but just kept coming up blank. Anything he thought of either would backfire or just wouldn't work in a fight, meaning there had to be some other way to go about doing it. Letting out his anger was bad, Shu had a point, dumb idea. Thinking of something peaceful or happy might work on paper, but he could attest to it first hand how it wouldn't work nearly all the time. They needed a reliable, surefire way of helping Shu out. Maybe there just wasn't one, that could be why they weren't able to figure this out. "You won't get punched in the face, no one's punching you. Just... I don't know..." Sighing he lifted both hands to his head, frazzling his hair a bit with a groan. The answer had to be there, there was a solution to everything if you looked hard enough. They probably could get one from Vegeta but now Takeshi was feeling damn determined to sort it out on his own. "Let's see... What about trying to laugh it off?" he suggested, smiling hopefully, "If I do something silly and you laugh then you won't be angry, right?"

However Takeshi lost his tail Kabocha didn't want to know. Losing your tail was like losing a limb, whatever had gone on couldn't have been pretty. If Shu was somehow linked to it too then all the more reason to leave that untouched, it was probably a sensitive subject. He could do without being smacked or yelled at right now, or having Shu get all defensive of his older brother and bite his tail. Somehow they made the segway of discussing tails to the King having a mate, such a random and weird topic that even Kabocha had to give Choi a 'what the hell' sort of look. Shuddering at the notion of the King getting 'it on' with anyone made his skin crawl, and in a different way then having your tail ripped off did. "Ugh, man... Shut up Choi! That's gross!" he said, grimacing before shaking his head. "I mean obviously the guy's... You know... Been there. He's got those two," Kabocha added, gesturing to the Princes. "I doubt their mother dying is what did it though. Then again... They don't know her at all, and she's definitely not on Kortal. But they are part human, so maybe she's on Earth... But they said they've never seen her..." Now he was really thinking into this, getting a bit curious about who or what their mother might be. Scratching at his cheek thoughtfully it was Kabocha's turn to grin, looking over at the twins and giving a wink. "Hey... What do you two think about doing a little research? Let's see if we can find out who their mother is!"
Just what in the world was Kimi staring at? Maybe she had that thousand yard stare people sometimes got, Suto had seen a few other players get it after a traumatic experience. Though nothing recently had been even remotely traumatizing, maybe she was just zoning out. Smiling he stuck a hand in her face, snapping his fingers to try and rouse her back to reality. It worked, and she was all moody with him when she looked over. "I don't have any slack Kimi, sorry to disappoint you. No guarantees on the shiny things though, I really do like them." he replied teasingly, giving a cheeky grin. All business, she really should lighten up a bit and enjoy herself. The sound of creaking doors drew both their attention elsewhere, and after watching Jason open the way to the next area he glanced back at Kimi. "Yes boss, on my way!" he chimed, folding his hands behind his head and strolling after her. If she couldn't handle that then she was going to be in for a real fun time with him. Now that things were back to a sense of normalcy he could really relax and goof off a bit, and by the looks of things it would only annoy her.
Hm... Who would have thought that there would be a giant sand pit so far above the ground? Aincrad really had this weird thing for towers, this final room just didn't make an ounce of sense. This had to be the boss room, everything pointed out that it would be, yet there was no boss. Nothing really but sand, pillars and chains. Maybe someone had beat them to it and it hadn't respawned yet, that would be a real pain. As Alphard and Jason went on ahead he paused at the entryway, giving his head a scratching as he looked around. Hopefully the boss was here somewhere, it would be such a letdown if they came all this way for nothing. Experience told Suto that their enemy was here, just not in plain view. Often times the boss was concealed, something had to be triggered in order to make it appear. Whether that was entering the room, finding a switch or triggering some event he didn't know, but there must be some trick to it. Frowning he put his hands on his hips, walking towards the coliseum while staring down at the floor. With a building that large it might take some time to figure this one out. Or maybe they just had to enter the sand pits, who knows. No sooner had he finished that thought did he notice a faint trembling sound, noting that some of the pebbles on the ground began bouncing. Furrowing his brow in confusion Suto lifted his head, eyes widening and jaw slacking just in time as he saw a massive worm erupt from the ground, sending both Alphard and Jason flying away.

Welp, they found the boss! And it was kind of big! Far as he was there was little that Suto could do immediately, which was bad considering the position his friends were in. Thankfully the others were much closer, and Kimi was quick enough to save Alphard from an untimely demise. Man, exactly the kind of enemy he had no desire facing. It wasn't that the size of the beast intimidated Suto, or he was afraid of worms, nothing remotely like that. His battle style revolved around speed, quick hits and small, bursty stuns. He wasn't so sure any of that would work against something like this. Sure he could pound away all day, but was it going to do anything? He didn't have much time to debate that as he was called by Nero, being made to join the other boy. Now that the battle was beginning they had to pair up, and he certainly didn't mind fighting alongside Nero. Nodding his head he tightened his hands into fists, his combat gloves appearing on his hands with a blue flash. A neat trick he'd learned, it was really quite simple, just making a sort of shortcut to equip his weapons. With himself being armed he hurried in after Nero, joining up with the others in the sand. Up close the worm was even bigger than it appeared initially, and it was massive before. Staring up as it let out an earth-shattering roar Suto smiled sheepishly, "Uh... So how do we wanna do this?"
If Viral wanted to try feeding himself then Yumi wouldn't stop him. Watching on with concern she smiled sadly when he managed to eat with some effort, only to be completely dejected after the fact. Everything was such a struggle for him now, even the simplest of tasks. It was no small wonder he was so agitated and upset. She wasn't sure if the best thing here was to offer help, or let him keep trying on his own. The chances of the latter were slim to none as he sounded defeated, and he really should eat some more even if he didn't want to. Smiling sympathetically Yumi grabbed the spoon again, scooping up a helping of the fish and offering it over to the Beastman. "If we weren't well we would let you feed us, there's nothing wrong with it, we don't think less of you," she said gently, "You used to do it for us whenever we got sick, remember? So... Think of this as repaying the favor!" A favor that she would gladly repay over and over until Viral was well again.

Shu wasn't making a completely unreasonable request, and it made sense. Takeshi really should be able to help out his brother's problem here when he had the same one. The only issue though was he didn't really have a solution for his own, let alone someone else's. The one tried and true trick he'd used in the past was to drown things out, ignore what was making him angry until he settled down. Sure, that might work when you were getting frustrated. In the heat of a battle though you couldn't just close your eyes and zone out, you became a veritable punching bag. Well intentioned, but a horrid suggestion he realized. Sighing somberly he rubbed at his face, running the same hand through his hair afterwards. "Yeah, bad idea, sorry bud..." he mumbled, "There's gotta be something that works for you... Maybe instead of trying to suppress it, let it out? I mean fight, you know? Maybe if you get into the fight you'll blow off steam and won't have time to change." Though what if Shu changed while fighting? Then he'd be in the thick of it and uncontrollable, which was obviously bad. Man this was a tough problem to solve. Scratching at his cheek he frowned, humming a bit to himself. "Or... Imagine something relaxing, you know? Or try saying something relaxing a couple of times, I don't know... Ever try either of those?"

"Hell if I know Choi... If he did then man, that's fricken harsh..." Tearing off someone's tail was low and just plain nasty, even for a Saiyan. Granted Shu wasn't exactly in the right mind when he changed, but still, to do that to his own brother was pretty messed up. That only sent a chilling message to Kabocha and the twins too, that if his older brother wasn't off limits none of them were either. Hm... He never thought he'd be so unsettled by such a little guy. Time to change the subject, hopefully to something more interesting and less frightening. "Who knows dude, I haven't heard anything about them at all," Kabocha replied, shrugging as he wiped at his nose. Changelings basically went from a big deal to nothing from what he understood, more or less irrelevant. The only one that probably knew anything about them were the King, his closest warriors and maybe the rebels. If the Changelings did get involved though and were close to Freeza's power then they were in trouble, they'd need the King's strength. "Oh I'm sure there's a way to cheat, that's why everyone hasn't done it," Kabocha said sarcastically, rolling his eyes, "And how the hell would I know about the King? What that guy did is a mystery to most of us, and I doubt he'll share his secret. If he is the reason they're staying away though then for once I'm glad that jerkwad is around."
It was quite odd feeding Viral this way, but Yumi didn't mind too much. All she had to do was hold the spoon and let Viral do the rest. Thankfully he was trying to eat now as well, albeit it didn't take long for him to be put off of the idea. Frowning she took her arm back, looking over at the Beastman sympathetically. "Oh... Well we'll get back into it, bit by bit," she suggested, "Once you're better we'll take baby steps, that's all. We'll work at it until you feel comfortable again." There was no rush, it wasn't as if they had to hunt just to find food. Unless you counted going to the refrigerator as hunting, which would be pretty lame if you did. Smiling sadly she reached over, rubbing Viral's back gently as she placed down her fork. "Don't get so bummed out, it's a process, right? First we make you feel better, then we start relearning things. Before you know it you'll be good as new!" Vegeta could fix Viral, Yumi had the utmost confidence in that. Plus they were trying to bring Aito and June back as well, and they would guaranteed be able to help out.

"She's right, Viral. It's going to take a bit of time, but you will recover from this," Vegeta added, offering a slight smile. "And speaking of the process, part of it is trying to get enough energy to sustain yourself. Unfortunately that involves eating something. Do you recall what happened last time you went without food?" He changed into the feline form, utterly against his will. Granted he had control of that form now, but there was no guarantee he still would if he would once he changed. Furthermore, there was no telling if he might become another mixture of forms instead of just the one, there were a lot of risks associated with not eating, more than there were with eating. "Do your best, eat a little bit. Have a few bites, then your wine, and if you can't eat any more then oh well, it's a start."

This was exactly why they had to work on Shu's anger issues. He was mortified of the idea of hurting one of their friends, or anyone really. Unfortunately for him the possibility of doing that was very high if he was to change. Hell, he'd attacked his own brother before, if he wasn't safe then no one was off the table. Takeshi wasn't any more a fan of this than his sibling was but it had to be addressed, sooner rather than later too. Somehow they had to solve this, for everyone's sake as well as their own. "Okay, well maybe Vegeta can't help, but Yumi's not busy. If she's not with Viral, and she's not with Choi then she's gotta be free, right?" She was always with someone, far as he knew, so reason told him she was available. Sure, she might not really know much in the way of anger management, but it would be handy to have someone else's input rather than Takeshi having to come up with the answers. Glancing over at Shu he forced a small smile, the corner of his mouth and eyebrow twitching. "I don't always get angry... Just annoyed," he hissed, pointing at Shu before sighing. Breathing in deeply through his nose he frowned, mulling over Shu's question. "You know... I don't really know. I mean it comes on quick, so it's kind of hard. But... Sometimes I just kind of shut things out. Close my eyes, pretend nothing is there. If I can do that then I forget what's making me mad and I calm down. Doesn't always work, but it's what I used to do. Kept me from kil- Uh... Attacking a few people."

"Man... I can't imagine actually losing your tail. It would be so weird not having one..." Kabocha mumbled, bringing his tail up and waving it a bit. "Takeshi's never had one as long as we've known him, has he? Wonder how he lost his..." That had never been discussed before, none of them had either though to or wanted to ask. To tear off a Saiyan's tail though it had to have been pretty dramatic. It made his skin crawl just thinking about it. Making a face he wrapped his tail back around his waist, feeling awfully possessive of it now. "Changelings...? Who the hell knows, and who the hell cares," Kabocha said, sticking his pinky in his ear and flicking away a bit of gunk. "Those creeps nearly wiped out our race, I don't want any help from them. For once I'm in agreement with the King, I'd be in favor of getting rid of those creeps once and for all. 'Course goody two shoes and his brother over there wouldn't let us." Who knew what state the Changelings as a race were in right now. They existed for certain, they showed up now and again, but were never part of fighting. So far the Saiyans had avoided them, but he had this almost paranoid feeling a fight would break out between them again. "If someone like Freeza pops up though... Well crap, hope we can all go Super Saiyan by then."
Viral could think it was cute or not, Yumi did think it was kind of adorable seeing him try. It was weird, with Shu learning how to do all sorts of every day things and T'charrl learning to speak, now the Beastman was learning to use utensils... Sort of. His paws were a bit big for gripping them, so perhaps some bigger ones should be made especially for him. That would be easy enough for Vegeta to do, they could probably even have someone in-house make them special order. "Of course you can have it, I'm not eating your food," she said, smiling as she held the spoon for her friend to take. Rather than grab the utensil though she felt a paw grip her arm, glancing over confused and watching as Viral fed himself, but with her holding the spoon. Furrowing her brow in confusion she let him make her scoop more up, finding it amusing that she had to be the intermediary for him to eat. "So you're using my hands since your paws are a little big? I guess that works," Yumi laughed, glancing back at her own plate. Grabbing her fork in her off hand she awkwardly picked up a bit of food, managing to get it into her mouth with little issue. This was weird, but if it worked she wasn't going to stop it. Hm, he wouldn't let her feed him before, now it was okay. What a silly man.

"I know you don't want to do it, neither do I, but we have to. Unless you'd rather hurt our friends?" Maybe when they were done eating Takeshi would find Yumi and Vegeta and try asking for a little more help from them. The latter had said that anger management was easy, but thus far Takeshi had found it to be anything but. And as for what he could count among triggers, seeing friends attacked and being grabbed, it was impossible to eliminate those considering what they did as a lifestyle. It was a real pain, he wasn't cut out for doing this kind of work, even with Shu. Sighing to himself he put a hand on his hip, rubbing his head with his other hand, "I know you're scared too... But look. Unless you want people getting hurt we gotta do it, you know? And I'll be right there with you, so don't worry so much alright? And if it makes you feel better I'll see if Yumi or Vegeta can help us too." Maybe all Shu needed was some proper support to feel more confident. Though when all was said and done Takeshi knew this was something his brother was going to have to do on his own. Same went for him, though he usually didn't attack friends when he went all nuts, just basically everyone else.

Kabocha had no problems laughing at Kai's expense, they always did to one another. He was sure being bit by Shu was painful and did feel sympathetic, but that didn't mean it wasn't funny. "Am not fatter! My dad's a fat lug, but I'm just as thin as you two morons!" he retorted, sticking out his tongue before laughing, "Man, someone bites your tail and suddenly you're whining like a girl! What a baby!" Given had he been the one to be bitten he might not be faring much better, goodness knows a Saiyan's tail was a weak spot, even when you trained yourself to bear more and more to it. Reaching back and grabbing his tail absentmindedly, Kabocha looked ahead at the two brothers, wondering what they were chatting about. Shu was all nervous as usual and Takeshi didn't look like he was having fun, they were probably going on about what happened to Kai. "Changelings...? That's what Freeza was, right? Man those are creepy... I would hope the King doesn't enlist any, I don't want to fight them..."
