Yumi felt positively awful over this whole affair, she was the reason Viral had gone and changed again. She was almost ashamed to look at him, knowing the way he was right now was her doing. Rubbing her arm uncomfortably she stopped at the door with the Beastman, watching as he awkwardly tried to get the doors open. Reaching out past him she did that for him, figuring it was the least she could do for him. "Yeah... We'll go to your room, that sounds like a good idea," she agreed, not sounding like her usual optimistic self. Was Viral going to be able to change back any time soon without Vegeta's help? She couldn't help but wonder how long he might be in pain because of this stupid sparring session, which was again of her design. All of this pouting couldn't be doing Viral any good, it certainly wasn't helping her either. Rather than feel sorry for herself then Yumi tried to smile, waving Viral on to follow her into the corridor. They could get to his room really quickly if they took the elevator, it wasn't much farther from the lift itself. Certainly quicker than walking to the stairs and going all the way back down the halls. "We'll get you to your room, then you can go ahead and nap. Or relax, whatever you want to do," Yumi said, smiling uncertainly as she began walking, "Do you need anything? I can get it while you relax in your room."

Shu could be the little fruit delivery boy, Takeshi was fine with leaving that task to his brother. It was easier for the little guy anyways, he didn't mind getting all sticky and gross from carrying the fruits like that. Teasing about stealing an apple he pushed open the doors for Shu, letting him out first then follow to the hallway. For whatever reason the younger boy stopped right at the door and started looking around, and when he got out there he did the same, wondering what his sibling was searching for. "Lose something...?" he asked, confused as to what Shu was doing. Shrugging it off he started down to the right, making way for the stairs to the next floor up. "We'll check his room first, he was heading that way before wasn't he? And if he's not down there then maybe we can have one of the crew call him, or find him somewhere." There were probably cameras on the ship, there may be one watching them right now for all he knew. Surely if T'charrl wasn't in his room then he'd slunk off to somewhere to hide, hopefully somewhere with surveillance. "You know... I've been kind of thinking of how to help him get better," Takeshi began again, scratching at his cheek lazily, "And I think I might have an idea. That little spirit guy said something about energy didn't he? Well... Know how we share energy with him when he heals people? What if a lot of us just did that, just shared energy? Maybe he'd have enough then for whatever is going on with him to fix itself. Or... It could make him change again... Which would be bad..." Hopefully T'charrl didn't go transforming on them, he really hated it when their friend went all big, bug like. It was kind of really unsettling.
Yumi felt as though everything which had just happened was her fault, however rightly or unjustly so. Vegeta had been abundantly clear about Viral not doing anything extensive and yet she had dragged him down her regardless. As a result of that he had not only changed but gone on a brief rampage, some random miracle being the only thing that kept it from getting any worse. In spite of apologizing and taking blame the Beastman didn't agree, blaming himself instead. Even if he disagreed that didn't change her mind, they wouldn't have come down if she hadn't suggested it. Whether Viral was trying to make her feel better or truly felt responsible she didn't know, it was hard to say with him. Lifting her head she watched him wander towards the door unsteadily, getting up to her feet as well. "I guess it doesn't matter whose fault it is, what happened can't be changed," Yumi mumbled, frowning as she rubbed one of her arms, "I guess now we just worry about getting you to change back, however that works. Think we should go see Vegeta?" Realistically they weren't going to keep this from him, Vegeta was bound to find out one way or another. It was best then they just go face up to it now and have him fix things. If she was going to get chewed out for dragging Viral along then fine, she didn't much care. The Beastman was in pain and struggling and she much more worried about how he'd fare than herself.

"Fine... But when someone does something bad don't come to me with questions, because I shouldn't tell you," Takeshi retorted, sticking out his tongue before snatching away the sponge from his brother. He would take care of washing dishes, otherwise they might be here for an hour or more. The sooner they were done here, the sooner they could get to T'charrl and try getting him to play a little. Even in his bulky form the Kaesstrian ought to be able to play some simple games, tag definitely. Hide and seek though was likely out of the question, there were only so many places a big, burlesque bug could hide. Whilst finishing off the dishes he left Shu in charge of fetching fruit, figuring their friend might want some as he hadn't joined them for a meal. He had to be hungry after sparring, the rest of them had been and they weren't as big as T'charrl was. Getting through the dishes was fairly quick for the most part, and by the time Shu had finished his task Takeshi was setting the last of the silverware aside to dry. The sound of the walk in cupboard squeaking drew his attention across the room, and he smiled amused seeing Shu's latest haul. The little guy really needed to learn how to carry things aside from just loading up his arms, though that did work. "Steal some for yourself?" he asked, referring to the apple hanging out of Shu's mouth. Rolling his eyes with a smile he went to the door, holding it open for Shu, "Come on buddy, let's go see T'charrl."
One Titan cutout down, a few to go. Alois had already forgotten how many there were for this exercise, he hardly cared about the number anyways. So long as he got to cut into something that's all he cared about, the quantity of enemies made little difference to him. He spent just a moment on a nearby branch, watching as the others zipped about, hunting down other targets. He couldn't wait for the real thing, a sentiment that some of his compatriots may not be sharing. To be sinking his swords into an actual Titan, make them pay for this dreary world that they found themselves in, that in of itself was going to be a special kind of joy. Alois couldn't be wholly bitter about it though, as without those giant, lumbering morons lumbering about he'd have nothing to do with himself, he'd be out of a job. In a way then he was grateful for the Titans, it made life interesting. And goodness knows a life without anything to interest you wasn't a life at all, you might as well be dead at that point.

Thoughts aside, it was time to get back into the swing of things, literally. Jonah was quick to come up alongside Alois and dart off, signaling for them to race. It was a fairly frequent thing between the two of them, they often competed with one another for the fun of it. Whoever the victor was hardly mattered to Alois, he just enjoyed the contest itself and was more than happy to partake each time he was challenged. The fact of the matter was he typically won, actually near every time really, though he never bragged or acted conceited. He was good and he knew he was good, and because he knew it there was no reason to show off or act superior, there was no point. Even with the self assured knowledge that he was skilled he still took on Jonah every time, perhaps out of a desire to see if the other boy could match up. Grinning broadly he jumped off of the branch he'd been perched on, lurching forward as his cables shot forth and imbedded themselves into nearby trees. Jonah was a fair distance ahead of him and heading right for another target, looking poised to strike. What did his friend think when he was about to cut into something, he wondered. Was there the same kind of exhilaration that Alois felt? Or was it simply done because it was what they were made to do? He'd have to remember to ask after this.

Jonah was right on the mark, sinking his blades into the fleshy substance of the Titan's neck. It was quick, clean and precise... But not deep enough. In order to actually slay a Titan you had to be very exact in your strikes, a certain depth and width needed to be achieved in order to deal a fatal blow. Otherwise you only injured it, and it could get quite mad when injured. Alois had managed to memorize the proportions of the slice needed, and his body more or less assumed the stance to achieve such a cut every time. If the others asked him for his secret he wouldn't know what to say, it was as mechanical as walking or breathing. As he rose up towards the cutout he laughed, finding Jonah's expression a bit funny. What was he getting so bummed out about, he was still better than a good few dozen trainees. The guy really should just relax and enjoy this, it was quite fun if you let it be. The distance between him and his mark closed, and with a quick release of pressurized gas, Alois managed to pivot his body a few degrees, just enough to send him towards the neck. Drawing back both arms he let out an audible grunt as he threw both blades forward, slicing just outside where Jonah had struck, reaching deeper down and cleaving out what his teammate had left behind. Watching as the fleshy substitute fell to the ground he landed beside his friend, smirking as he wiped sweat from his brow with his sleeve. "Looks like I win again. You really woulda pissed that Titan off though! I bet it would have been flopping all over the place!"

It ought not to take them much longer, this exercise. The speed at which their group cleared the area typically was in part the reason they were all in the top ten. Not only were they quick, but they were effective, making consistent kills and very few mistakes, if any. Today would be a day for a mistake, it seemed. While joking around with Jonah about their competition, Alois noticed a flare being shot off in the distance. In an actual combat scenario that would mean a Titan was nearby, and the whole group would go running. Still in training however it was just one requesting aid. Someone had gotten hung up or something and needed some help, that was all. Smiling exasperatedly the redhead gave a shake of his head, sheathing his blades as he turned to Jonah. "I'll go find whoever it is, you guys keep doing this. Someone probably went and ran out of gas or something." he said, smiling as he stepped off the branch idly, laughing as he shot out cables and began his swing away. "And cut deeper on the next one! Kill it, don't cripple it!" He wouldn't gloat, sure, but he certainly would tease. For no particular reason either other than it was fun, and tended to get his friends to work harder. He had received his fair share of taunts so he figured it was fine to dish it back, if that's how it worked.

The flare had not been all that far off, and it was a mere matter of moments before Alois found its source. Of all the people he expected to be asking for aid, Tinker was not one of them. The guy was awfully smart, and yet just looking at him it was obvious he'd done something stupid. Even from where he was coming in from he could tell the other boy was injured, not seriously, but still bruised up. "You know, your swords make better weapons than your back," he joked, swinging up and landing beside Tinker on the branch, shaking it slightly. Some fine mess his teammate had made of himself, his shirt was torn and slightly bloodied, and he could well have a fracture or at least some bruising. Slowly walking over as not to disturb the tree he crouched down, reaching out and examining Tinker's back carefully. "Oh yeah, that's going to leave a mark. Looks like you hit the tree pretty good," Alois remarked, giving some of the bruises a light prodding with his fingertips. "Seriously, what did you do? I'd figure you're way too smart to be crashing like that."
It looked safe enough to approach Viral again, yet Yumi was still cautious in getting close to him. She couldn't be completely certain yet and better safe than sorry. She got to the point where her friend could have easily reached out and struck her, yet he made no move to do so. Feeling like that meant things were alright now she took a seat before Viral, immensely relieved that was over with. Both of them could take a break now and then try getting Viral to change back, were that possible. She wasn't sure whatsoever what to do in order to change him back and chances were he didn't know either. That was something Vegeta was going to be needed for most likely, and by going to him he'd know right away they went behind his back. Yumi wasn't so much worried about being found out as she was disappointing her friend, and she couldn't help but worry that she might be made to stay away from the Beastman for a while. "Don't be sorry, this whole thing was my idea," Yumi corrected, looking up at Viral with an apologetic smile, "I didn't think your condition was that bad... I figured we'd be okay. I guess I didn't take it seriously enough, and because of that..." she trailed off, gesturing to her friend to relay her point. Aside from a slight scare she was unharmed after all of that, and even the fright was wearing off. Viral was likely in pain though and had to go through the transformation, and likely changing back as well. If anyone ought to be apologizing it was her. "I'm sorry for putting you up to this, I should have listened to Vegeta. Are you mad at me now...?"

Takeshi was fine with Shu learning how to clean plates and all, but not spending the whole afternoon doing it. Maybe he should get a bit more hands on to teach his brother how to do it properly. Grabbing his sibling's wrists then he began taking him through the motions, getting the last bits of food off of their first plate. "You're gonna learn the bad things anyways, might as well be from me," he said, taking the plate to set in the strainer, "We can't shelter you from bad stuff, you know? Hell, you've seen most of it already. It's a fact of life that you'll learn and see bad things, I just think it's better you see it from someone you know." Besides, he'd not taught Shu anything really bad anyways. Pranks, sure, and a few cuss words, but comparatively those were innocent. Takeshi honestly saw no issue with using foul language, he just censored himself to be a bit more considerate of others, and mostly to keep Yumi from smacking him. "Maybe he needed to rest after training? Since he doesn't sleep a ton that could have tired him out?" It was hard to tell with the Kaesstrian, they were so different from T'charrl that it was sometimes a mystery as to how he worked. Easing the sponge free from Shu's grasp, Takeshi grabbed the next dish and began cleaning, opting to take care of it himself instead. "Tell you what, I'll teach you how to clean dishes some other time. How about you get some fruit together for T'charrl while I do these? Then when I'm done we can go pay him a visit."
Viral was calming down, he was actually starting to calm down. Yumi hadn't a clue as to why that was or how it came about, not that she cared. All that mattered was it looked like his rampage was coming to an end, somehow they had avoided a worst case scenario. Even if her friend was stopped for the moment she still moved forward with caution, slowly descending and not quite landing as she hovered just before the Beastman. When their gaze met she could tell that Viral was very much there, struggling but there. "Oh thank goodness... That was really bad for a second there..." she mumbled, setting herself down just before her friend. Breathing a sigh of relief she wiped her forehead on her arm, releasing an uneasy laugh as she looked around the room. Some scratches on the floor here and there, not to mention parts of the mat were now shredded. Pretty obvious what had happened here, though the floor and mats were easily replaced and fixed. "I think we're done for now, sorry. After that I'm not really up for sparring at the moment." Smiling she sat herself down on the floor, draping her arms over her knees as she leaned back slightly. Okay, so maybe they ought to have listened to Vegeta, he knew more about Viral's condition than she did. Couldn't blame a girl for trying to have some fun though; You could, but Vegeta had better not try. The only reason Viral even agreed was he was always being cooped up, he probably needed this even if it had gone sour. "Let's uh... Let's rest for a minute, then we'll try getting you to change back. I don't think we should be going anywhere just yet."

Giving Shu a nervous look, Takeshi smiled a bit before reaching over and giving his brother a pat on the back. "H-Hey now, let's just leave what we talk about between us, alright? Yumi doesn't need to know the kind of language I use." She'd probably kill him if she knew half of the words that came out of his mouth. He didn't get why, Shu might be a bit naive but he was hardly a little kid; Takeshi and Shu were nearly the same age if he remembered right. The spectacle of his little brother trying to hold dishes distracted the both of them, and he couldn't help but chuckle at the display. What was so difficult about holding plates was beyond him, even if they were dirty. He did notice how strangely Shu was trying to grip them, pretty odd considering a plate wasn't the most technical thing to get a hold of. A bit of work later and the little guy had nearly finished his first plate, albeit missing a few spots here and there. Smiling encouragingly Takeshi stood behind Shu, grabbing his arms and helping him through the motions to clean away the rest of the grime. "Alright, no surprising T'charrl, you made your point," he replied, taking the now clean plate and setting it aside, offering Shu another. "I'm sure he's fine. He did seem sort of nervous though after training, maybe he wasn't feeling well? Hm... Think we should bring him a bit of fruit? Could be that he's hungry."
Yumi had to take to the air, it was the only way she could feasibly get away from Viral. If he tried using an energy attack again then she was back to dodging, but so long as he didn't do that she was safe. All she needed was a moment, time to collect her thoughts and figure out how to help her friend. He usually changed because he was angry, right? Or was that only Shu? All this running around she was doing had scrambled her thoughts, so dashing about a bit to try and throw off her friend she eventually found herself up high in a corner. Certain she had at least a few brief moments to herself, Yumi closed her eyes and began breathing deeply, managing to settle her heart rate and breathing to near normal levels. With the risk of being mauled gone she found herself able to relax a bit, now she could really think of what to do. He would change back if his energy ran out, so maybe just tiring Viral was the best way to do this. With his energy shooting off like static it shouldn't take long, and he'd only have to rest to recuperate. She would try that for now, and if that showed no signs of working she'd go for another plan. Nodding to herself she opened her eyes, surprised to find Viral not far off from where she was, looking like he had been coming after her. Odd though, he wasn't growling or even looking her way, but rather appeared to be nursing a headache. Unable to hide her optimism, Yumi slowly descended towards her friend, keeping in the air a bit just for safety measures. "Viral...? Are you feeling better...?" she asked, smiling slightly, "Did you uh... Calm down?"

Washing dishes was easy, so much so that even Shu ought to be able to do it. Takeshi only bothered with a brief explanation and showing then before handing off the reigns, or sponge, to his brother to let him try. "You think everything is a funny word, doofus," the older boy remarked, smirking as he stepped aside, "Just be gentle, and try to get any bits of food off the plate. Then after you do that rinse the soap off and put it where I put mine." This wasn't too bad of an arrangement, really. If Shu could wash the dishes then that meant his older brother didn't have to do them, he'd handle putting food away. Running his hands under the water for a moment to clean them he began shaking them dry, wandering around to find something to seal the food. Digging through the cabinets he found what he was looking for after a moment, taking out a box of plastic wrapping and a few small bags. The big stuff he'd wrap up, any of the plates that had a ton of stuff left; Small dishes would just be dumped in the bags and sealed. Tearing free a few sheets of plastic wrap he began to pack away their leftovers, glancing over at Shu after a moment to see how his brother was doing. "What do you suppose T'charrl's up to right now...? Sleeping?" Takeshi asked, turning back to the work at hand, "Maybe we should sneak in and surprise him! Though I don't want him dusting himself if we scare him..."
It may well be a moot effort, but Yumi was going to try to plead with Viral one last time. Even if he was able to recognize her it might not do any good, but right now she had no other plans. For a moment or two it appeared as though she'd managed to do it, the Beastman stopped his assault and appeared to be struggling with himself. "That's right Viral, I know you can hear me!" she said hopefully, managing a small smile, "You need to relax, one of us could get hurt if you don't!" No sooner had those last few words left her lips did her friend snap again, coming back after her again ferociously. Their intention of having a simple sparring session was far out the window now and she was just trying to stay safe, so there wasn't much reason any longer to hold back. She wouldn't fight Viral, that wasn't what she had in mind. There was a way she could hopefully avoid him and buy some time to think things through. Waiting until he was nearly close enough to grab her, Yumi jumped up in the air and took to flying, going up far as close to the ceiling as she could get. Then, using her speed she tried to dart around the room and confuse Viral, hiding off in the far corner to get a moment's reprieve. Once she was situated she closed her eyes, inhaling deeply then exhaling in the same manner, trying to almost meditate as Geoffrey had shown her back on Earth. She had to be calm, relax and be careful about what she would do next. With no immediate incoming danger she managed to slowly get her breathing back under control, and with it her heightened state became more calm and relaxed too. Right... Now what was she going to do about Viral?

This sure was a lot of dishes, considering that Yumi and Viral's mess was in the sink as well. So it would be a little more work than Takeshi had bargained for, both cleaning and packing away whatever was left over. Good thing he didn't mind getting a bit messy because there was a ton to throw away too. Placing the plates to the side of the sink he rolled up his sleeves, pointing out a spot for Shu to set his load as well. "Want me to show you how? It's easy to do, you can probably do it." Grabbing the nearest sponge he dumped a fair bit of soap into it, giving it a squeeze to get it in there. Next he grabbed the plates that had food left on them, starting to dump what they weren't saving in the trash and placing those that they were saving off to the side; wrapping up the plates in their entirety would be much quicker than finding containers for them. "I guess it's kind of the same? Though I don't use a sponge on you... That would be weird... Just watch me, I'll show you how it's done," he added, pausing to peer out the window at Kai and Choi, "I'll try not having too much fun! Thanks for the food!" he called back. "Now then, first thing you want to do is get the water on, and you gotta use warm water, otherwise the food might not come off. When you do that, hold the plate or whatever you're cleaning under the water and start scrubbing." Since he knew words were a bit lost on Shu he opted to show as well, grabbing the first plate and getting a stream of water going. Using the sponge, Takeshi carefully got every little crumb off before rinsing the suds off, placing the wet plate in a strainer. "Easy, right? Want to try?"
The only thing Yumi could do right now was avoid Viral and try to think of a way to help him. Pretty difficult to think things through when something was trying to maul your face off, this might take a moment. Striking her friend would only make things worse even if she had this reflex to do so while being attacked, instead she would have to keep moving around. Jumping over the Beastman she have him a kick in the rear, just attempting to keep space between them for her own safety. Setting her feet back on the floor she looked over her shoulder and was made to jump away yet again, Viral was giving her no breathing room. As if dodging just his physical self wasn't bad enough that erratic energy sprouting off of him was probably dangerous too. If it was like his regular energy then it would be quite hot, being hit by that would obviously be bad. "Viral, you have to stop! I don't want to fight you!" Yumi said, gasping as she was nearly cleaved down her front by a set of claws. Not sure what to do whatsoever she kept moving away from Viral, desperately trying to find a way to stop him. Restraining him would be best but that meant getting in close, and burned in the process. Worst case she'd do that, but only if nothing else worked. "Please Viral, stop fighting!"

Dishes wasn't normally something Takeshi did, unless he was at home, they usually managed to stick that fun job on someone else. Doing it now wasn't all bad though, it meant he and Shu could get away from the others, and with luck the latter would perk up a bit. Plus they should give T'charrl a bit more time, seeing how nervous he was before. Last thing they should do is walk in on him while he was trying to have some alone time and make him feel bad or uncomfortable. Gathering up the plates and serving dishes he delegated Shu to cleaning up the silverware and glasses, an easy enough job. For anyone but the little Saiyan anyways, most people would stack the cups and stick the silverware inside of it. In his infinite wisdom however Shu just clumped it all together in his arms, making quite the scene of cleaning up as he jumped off then off of the table. Seeing the twins' reaction, Takeshi chuckled slightly, being a bit embarrassed by his brother's antics. "He's enthusiastic... That's good right...?" Probably best to get in the kitchen, make sure Shu wasn't shoving utensils down the garbage disposal. Kicking in his seat with his foot Takeshi hurried after his brother, relieved to find the little guy just standing there idly. "Set it on the counter next to the sink, I'll clean it," he said, placing the plates down just to the side of the sink. Looking around and poking through the cabinets he found a sponge and some soap, rolling up his sleeves and turning on the water to get started.

He didn't have to cook and he didn't have to clean, it was almost like being home again. Though the bed back home was certainly nicer, and he had more than just this armor and odd Earth clothing to wear. Waving off Takeshi and Shu, Kabocha started for the door, set on finding his folks and making sure they were behaving themselves. His father was more or less a spineless slug since leaving Kortal, and his mother was even more crazy than usual. He couldn't help but imagine walking in to find his mother beating up his old man, or yelling her head off over something silly. That was pretty normal for his family, yet those two stayed together and were supposedly happy. Whatever, love was confusing. "Har har, very funny," Kabocha said, glancing back at Choi before smirking, "Speaking of eating... I wonder what Shu would do if I told him you were hiding fruit from him?" He'd let that sink in, it would be a nice little card to play if he ever felt like getting back at that trickster Choi. Waving to the twins again he left the mess hall behind and strolled out into the corridor, humming to himself as he began the walk back to his room.
Feeling all of these emotions coming from Viral was throwing Yumi off in so many ways. She had no idea why or how she was picking them up nor what she should do about it. Maybe it was the fact she was now part Beastman, there might be some weird link between her and Viral. Though she had never noticed it before so that didn't make sense, she'd have picked up on it sooner. There was so much she had no clue about right now and there was no time to think it over, Viral was on the attack yet again. Her fitful pleas had done her no good, she'd have to try and find some way to settle down her friend. Poising to dodge any attack she dashed to the side as the Beastman pounced on where she had stood. There had to be something she could do about this, some way she could help Viral without hurting him. It was incredibly difficult to think about anything though with the Beastman bearing down on her. Reaching out when he closed in again she placed a hand on his shoulder and jumped up, using her friend as a sort of springboard to get over and land behind him. Just to keep him away she reached back and pushed against his rear with her foot, hoping to knock him off balance and get room between them. She needed time to think and figure out how to fix this, and find out why she was feeling what Viral was feeling.

"There's nothing keeping you from getting that strong, you can do it if you really work your tail off. I know I'm going to get that strong some day!" Well, maybe not quite as strong as Goku had been. He'd reached a level of strength that was, simply put, absurd. Far as Takeshi could recall the only beings that could even fight with Shu's idol were gods, and even then it was a fairly close contest. So maybe not exactly as strong as Goku, but it'd be neat if they could reach Super Saiyan, or an Ascended Saiyan, or anything for that matter. He and Shu were the children of a Super Saiyan too, and while he was scarcely grateful for their Father he figured their heritage gave them a bit of a plus when they were trying to get stronger. The two of them fighting all out were likely the strongest here currently, and that was certainly a nice feeling to have. Poor Shu, while his older brother was off living in some fantasy world the little guy was still a nervous mess. "You're not going to be alone again, I'll make damn sure of that. No one's going to do that kind of thing to you ever again buddy." Takeshi would sooner die preventing it then let Shu be subjected to that kind of probing and testing again. His little brother was much too sensitive for that sort of thing, anyone was really, even Viral had broken down from it.

This was nice, getting to just have a pleasant little chat with Shu. Nice right up until Kai had to go and interrupt them, what a mood killer! Glancing over at their friend, Takeshi smiled slightly before nodding his head, getting up from his chair as well. "Alright, we'll do it since you guys cooked. I'm sure Kabocha couldn't be bothered to do something so... Menial," he joked, grinning at his friend's annoyed response. As if washing dishes was difficult at all to do, and it really wasn't all that bad considering the food wasn't exactly messy. They could have this done in minutes then be well on their way to seeing T'charrl, who hopefully given a bit more time would be open to playing. Starting to grab plates and stack them up he glanced over at Shu, nodding to the silverware and cups. "Get all of that and bring it to the kitchen, will you? Just put it right in the sink for me, I'll be right in."

Kabocha bit his tongue, refusing to take the bait and instead brushed Takeshi off. His friend was right though, no way was he going to wash dishes, it was disgusting. The plates were all greasy, and the silverware had been in someone else's mouth. If the brothers were more than happy to take the job he wasn't going to deprive them of that chance. Getting out of his seat he pushed his dishes over to Takeshi, smirking as he stepped away from the table. "You two have fun washing those, be sure not to miss anything." Turning then to Kai and Choi he nodded before making his way towards the door, rubbing his hands together then against his pants to get a bit of lingering mess of. "Thanks for the food you two! I'm going to go make sure mother and father haven't killed each other!" Or rather his mother hadn't gone all mental and killed his father, the latter was just a layabout. Sure he was a noble and had power in his own right, but out here that meant very little to these people. Since strength mattered most right now his mother was actually the more important of the two, and she'd certainly been enjoying the change in standings.
Yumi didn't know what more she could do, not when Viral was clearly out of control. She didn't think she had done enough to provoke this, she'd been so darn careful! The fact that something had gone wrong was staring her in the face though, or more like bearing down on her. It wasn't ideal but she had to keep the Beastman away, if he got to her there was no telling what might happen. If she was injured, which was a strong possibility, it would only depress her friend even more. Yet the alternative... With quite a bit of reservations she raised both hands, gathering Ki and firing it off as quickly as she could to drive Viral away. Cringing as she watched her attack connect she quickly cut off the flow, watching somberly as Viral slammed into the wall and crashed to the ground. She had been so insistent that this wouldn't happen, now that it was she didn't know what to do. Things went from bad to worse as her friend began to change too, of all the things they didn't need right now. She might be relieved to see the feline form if he wasn't still all mixed up, since Viral knew how to control that aspect of himself. Slowly and with far less outward aggression he began to approach again, looking to struggle quite a bit in the process. Maybe he was still there... Maybe she could still help him?

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to blast you..." Yumi said, watching her friend worriedly, "You just... I didn't know what to do!" She couldn't offer an excuse because there was none, she had panicked and that was all there was to it. Her fault, and here she was supposed to be helping Viral. Hitting him and blowing him away obviously wasn't the route to take, there had to be some way she could be useful. Staring at her friend she slowly began to notice something, something she couldn't quite place. In the heat of their sparring she hadn't noticed before, but now the lull in action made Yumi aware of an odd sensation around her. It was difficult to explain, it almost felt like the air around her was heavy and... Angry? That didn't make sense, air couldn't be feeling anything. Yet there was this definite sense of madness, as well as a pain and uneasiness. They were emotions no doubt but where were they coming from, and how was she feeling them? This was all so confusing, she hadn't a clue what was going on any more. If they were emotions, she told herself, they had to be coming from someone else. She certainly wasn't angry, she knew that much, and the only other person in the room was Viral. Eying the Beastman, Yumi blinked in surprise, making the guess that it must be his emotions she was picking up on. But how in the world was she doing something like that?

"Yeah, I know you don't mean it in a bad way, relax Shu," Takeshi said, smirking as he shrugged his shoulders, "I just don't think that power makes you angry, or evil. I mean... Maybe those people are always like that, and they just couldn't do anything before since they didn't have the power, you know? Maybe once they get the power you really see what they're like." Now that sounded like some psychological mumbo-jumbo, he'd probably picked that up from one of Vegeta's ramblings somewhere along the line. There were good and evil people in the world, that was a given, but he doubted the reason for a person being either was just their Ki, or how much power they had. Goku was a perfect example of being a good person with a ton of power, and Shu recognized that much. So it wasn't Ki, that much seemed pretty clear so far. "Really promise, I said I'd do it, didn't I?" Takeshi asked, "Big promise or not, I'm doing it. You're my little brother, I'm always going to be around to help you, you know that." He may not be the best with words sometimes, or actions even, but he really did care about Shu. Sure, he may know a few more things than his brother but this family business was just as new to him as it was to Shu. Both were learning as they went along, and they both needed one another for that.
