Being pretty much at her wit's end Yumi resorted to giving Viral a hug after everything else. It wasn't much and likely wasn't going to do anything but she just wanted to give him one. It was like when you heard someone tell you something really sad and there was just that weird urge to give them a hug for comfort, sort of like that. Of course hugging the Beastman never went as she wanted, and sure enough the words coming out of his mouth scarcely sounded like he was comforted. In a way thinking that his situation could be worse was being positive, kind of. At least he wasn't saying or wishing that would happen to himself which was surely a good sign. "Yeah... It could be worse, and it is going to get better," Yumi stated again, letting go of her friend as she stood up with a smile, "It can't be much longer now, you know that. Once Vegeta has something he wants done he'll work until it's finished, especially if its with one of us. So you can pretty much guarantee you're going to be better soon." With his smarts and work ethic there was no way Viral was going to be suffering for much longer, she was positive of that. And once he was finally better they could get back to doing things like they used to, and more importantly Viral could fight with them again, something he had been dying to do for quite a while. That alone was bound to make him pretty happy, and of course just being healthy probably would play a small role in that as well.

Haku was borderline fainting himself, so the directions given to him by the Spirit weren't entirely clear. Giving energy sounded like a simple enough task, he could do that by just tossing Ki at the alien, right? Before anyone had a chance to tell him otherwise he did precisely that, hurling a small orb of Ki at T'charrl and maybe thinking he would absorb it. At first it looked like his attack just hit the Kaesstrian right in the face, making the Saiyan cringe when he watched T'charrl fall over. Blinding or hurting the alien wasn't exactly what he was trying to accomplish here, so he was relieved when things seemed alright. Relief quickly became unease again when the Kaesstrian got back up, doing so in a sluggish manner but managing to rise to an upright position. Jeez this was freaky, that was one hell of a menacing look for T'charrl. "How the heck am I going to be positive?! Do I have to hug him or something?!" Haku asked, again not totally sure just who he was talking to. Positive, positive, what in the heck did that mean? He hadn't the faintest clue but figured that he could try just transferring energy. He knew how to do it through training, he'd shared some with a few soldiers before when asked so he was familiar with the process. Eying T'charrl nervously he swallowed hard, feeling a cold sweat forming on his body. Well he'd come to help and he was going to, but this stupid business was probably going to get him killed. With one shallow exhale he vanished, darting around as quick as his feet would carry him to end up behind the Kaesstrian. Looking at all the spikes uncertainly he jumped up, finding a clear spot before placing a hand on T'charrl's back, quickly getting his Ki flowing and trying to send it into the alien. "Come on... Take my energy T'charrl!"
First the Rebels on the doorstep and now this nonsense. Things were progressing too quickly, much more quickly than they had anticipated. If the situation continued on as it was then this would become a two front war and that was the last thing either side needed. The newest enemy to the fray was allied to no one but itself and a threat to Saiyans and Rebels alike. Whether the other side liked it or not they would have to face this foe first before the war between them could truly be settled. In a way the Saiyans should be grateful that these damnable creatures had decided to appear when they did. With the Rebels being within striking distance of Kortal it would have been one hell of a battle, a battle in which the Saiyans were not wholly ready to commit to. This distraction allowed them to gather their forces again, yet once they had the Rebels had moved off, leaving the remainder of their latest foe for the military to clean up. A few ships had been invaded by the creatures, and one by one they were being cleared of the pests. It was difficult if not nigh impossible to really know if all of the beasts were slain so every ship remained on alert until it was absolutely certain no more threats were nearby.

To think he had to be bothered to come out here and reclaim his own vessels. If he had half competent troops onboard then this wouldn't be an issue and he could have remained back on Kortal. Since the Rebels had been so close however all Elites were recalled to the planet, leaving mostly standard soldiers to fend off the beasts. Being rid of the creatures was a fairly simple task even if Ki didn't work on them. Though that statement wasn't wholly correct, as Yamate had discovered. If you managed to strike from inside the beast, oh say by burying one's fist in it and releasing Ki, then it worked quite well. Messy, but it was a sure fire way of disposing of the vermin. Currently the King found his hands wrapped around the throat of one such beast, throttling the very life out of it with a cold, hard glare on the monster as it squirmed. Ignoring the sorry scraping of its claws on his chest he held firm until it finally gave up, giving it a good shake to make sure it was truly dead. Satisfied he tossed the corpse to the side, watching as it was gradually reduced to purple smoke, same as all of those before it. Slowly the body of the beast melted away until nothing was left, the smoke thinning out and seeming to vanish into mid-air. Such annoying opponents, these beasts. Blow them up, tear them apart, even decapitate them and all they did was turn into smoke, it didn't feel like they were truly fighting anything.

The other ships should be just about cleared at this point, and Yamate knew he just dispatched the last on this vessel. Glancing down at his chest he frowned while inspecting his armor, noting all the scratches and dents on it. He'd not brought his typical royal armor, opting for standard gear as he knew it was bound to get damaged. Good thing he had, it would have been quite bothersome to have that armor ruined by such a frivolous fight. Scoffing again at the notion of his being here the King turned around, and as he did he saw Krom coming towards him. He'd brought the other man along to help him in clearing this ship, seeing as it was one of their larger ones and thus more men would make the job easier. "Part of me almost wants to chase those damned Rebels down, just to let out this aggression I'm feeling," Yamate hissed, dusting off his chestplate as he approached Krom. "I don't like this, at all. These things shouldn't be appearing yet, we should have had more time. If they're beginning to appear then we need to move faster." Krom didn't wholly know his plan, not the truth of it anyways. He knew Yamate was seeking power, but that in of itself was quite vague. The reality of his design was his knowledge and his alone, and he intended to keep it that way for now. "We're going to need my sons again... You know this as well as I do. For us to defeat what's coming and the Rebels we need their strength, whether that's willingly or by force."
"You know... Board games, something like that! Or even card games, anything to help keep us busy." Yumi just wanted to keep Viral doing something, she was worried that his being idle might lead to something bad now. Albeit action seemed dangerous too if going by their sparring sessions so really she wasn't quite sure what to do. The only relief she could find in all of this was they were going to be in the Beastman's room, and all the needed to do if he went rampant was somehow keep him in there. Not a particularly thrilling notion considering how dangerous that would be but she'd do it if the need arose. Looking back at Viral she adopted a sad, sympathetic look as he spoke, feeling nothing but sorry for him. The last thing he probably wanted was someone feeling sorry for him and having them baby him, but that was exactly what Yumi felt like doing right about now. Just everything worked against him lately and there was not a whole lot going for Viral anymore, everything that could go wrong did. Unable to keep herself from even trying she walked over to her feline friend, smiling sadly as she leaned over a bit to come to his level. "I know things are bad right now, but they're going to get better..." Yumi said gently, linking her arms around the Beastman's neck in a hug, "Just hang in there, Vegeta and I are going to help you get better no matter what."

Haku was utterly beside himself, having one Prince being out cold and the other a bumbling mess. Or maybe that was just how Shu normally was, he didn't really know nor care. All he knew was after seeing T'charrl as he was now they really should be leaving, sticking around could only end badly. Grabbing hold of Shu's arm he tried dragging him away, frowning when he got staunch resistance from the other boy. "What the hell are we going to do to help that?!" Haku asked, speaking of course of the Kaesstrian, "Whatever's going on is beyond us, we should just leave!" Try as he might to pull Shu away though the young Prince wouldn't budge, he vehemently wanted to help out. Torn between saving his own hide and that of the brothers he finally stopped pulling, frustrated as he glanced back at T'charrl. Help that how? The alien looked like he was ready to tear them all to shreds and they were supposed to help him? Whilst staring at T'charrl he began to notice a peculiar voice, one that didn't seem to come from anywhere in particular. Looking around the area baffled he finally looked back at T'charrl, gathering it was somehow related to what was going on here. "W-Wait... Give him energy? How in the hell do we give him energy?" Haku asked, speaking to whatever in the world was talking to him. Groaning he shook his head, pushing Shu aside as he walked closer to T'charrl, trembling slightly. "A-alright then... If you want energy then h-have it!" Holding his hands slightly apart he gathered Ki as quickly as he could, scarcely enough for an attack before just tossing it at T'charrl, hoping that was what the disembodied voice had meant.
Though she wanted to get Viral some help right now Yumi eventually relented, letting Vegeta get the rest he needed. So long as they kept to Viral's room and she did what she could to keep him calm they ought to be alright. "Okay, we'll just go relax in your room then, that's fine by me," she replied, smiling slightly, "Maybe we can find something to pass the time... I don't know, a game or something." Maybe what she really needed to do was keep the Beastman's mind preoccupied, not give him a chance to focus on anything that might make him change. Unless it was his energy doing that, in which case she hadn't a clue how to help. Best to just play things as they went along and help where she could rather than try to find a single solution she supposed. Turning her head back to Viral she frowned, giving her head a shake before looking straightforward again. "What happened isn't your fault, you know that right?" Yumi asked, smiling slightly, "You would never do that to any of us on purpose, I know that. So don't feel like you're wrong, because you're not, it's whatever is making you do this that's wrong." Now Viral was going to be all guilt ridden, and it really wasn't his fault. Sigh... If Vegeta really did have the answer to all of this then he needed to get around to administering it pretty darn quickly.

For something to make one of the Princes scream like that... Haku must be insane running towards it. Heck, he was already insane siding with the rebels anyways, once the King found them he was as good as cooked. He tried using the rationalization that if he helped somehow now he might get in good with these people though and maybe not be cast out like he had been, like he was back with the Saiyans. Fanciful thinking perhaps but it was worth a shot. In spite of his rather powerful urge to turn tail and run away he forged ahead and kept running into Gods only knew what awaited him. At his pace it didn't take long to find what he was looking for, knowing he'd gotten the right spot by recognizing Shu's wild mane of hair from a ways off. There appeared to be something on the ground beside Shu too, but from here it was difficult to make out just what it was. It wasn't until he had come much closer that he realized it was Takeshi lying there and seemingly out cold, but how? Shu was just sitting there prodding his brother's side, so maybe it wasn't all bad if Shu wasn't freaking out. Skidding to a gradual stop he looked at the brothers rather confused, staring at Shu for answers, "What happened? Why's he on the ground like that?" he asked, speaking rather quickly. Out of the corner of his eye he managed to catch something else, and slowly he turned his head to see what it was as he felt a chill run down his spine. What he saw sitting there in the storage room was... Well even he could recognize that it was T'charrl. But what in the hell had he turned into?! Staring wide eyed he froze up a bit, reaching down blindly to try and grab Shu, "Uh... W-We should probably g-go...."
Yumi had opted for a bout of silence for their walk seeing as Viral wanted to remain secretive. It wasn't very fun however walking in silence, and after a while she had the uncanny feeling that someone was staring her down. Unable then to maintain her vow of silence she glanced back at Viral and had to ask if he was staring, which obviously he was, no one else was present. She smiled in amusement at his reply right up until he snarled at her, and it wasn't a playful snarl by the sounds of it. That made her eyes widen in surprise for a moment as she stopped in her tracks, staring at the Beastman uncertainly. Was he still a threat, even after he had calmed down? Maybe she was taking this a bit too lightly still, she wanted to think the worst had passed after the initial outburst but that may not be the case. Feeling a bit on edge she turned around completely, facing Viral with a tentative smile. "I really think we need to go see Vegeta. I know you don't want to bother him, but he can at least give you something to keep you calm for a while. I don't know what I can do for you really..." Compared to their genius of a friend there wasn't much of anything she could offer. He had the medicine and the know how to get Viral settled, all she could do was talk and hope her words got through. Finding herself becoming distressed again, Yumi placed a hand on her chest as she turned back, breathing deeply for a brief moment to relax before walking along once more. "Or... If we're going to your room then I have to stay with you, no questions. I'm sorry, but I really think you need to be watched right now."

Shu hiccuping incessantly was kind of funny to listen, the little guy had no idea how to help himself either. After getting a few good chuckles out of it Takeshi had just let it go on, still smiling about his brother's slight misfortune. That's what he got for inhaling an apple he supposed, though he'd never gotten hiccups from one before which was weird. Leave it to Shu to do the impossible. Curious now too about this hiding spot of his sibling's he had to try seeing it at some point; Shu had somewhere he didn't know about and that sort of bothered him. The fact that Shu denied him only made Takeshi want to see it even more, building up in his mind's eye this grand hiding spot. "T'charrl is gonna be fine, don't worry. He was probably just nervous after training and wanted to relax, that's all. I mean how often does he fight Saiyans?" Well, pretty often since he spent his time with them, but that was beside the point. "By the way, if you hold your breath for a few seconds you'll stop hiccuping," he added, glancing back with a smile, "Just saying. Either that or you can try drinking water, though we don't really have any with us." No big deal, hiccups were hardly life threatening and would go away on their own eventually. Shu would just have to put up with them for a bit is all, unless he opted to scare his little brother of them.

With all this walking around Takeshi really hoped they found the right storage room. There were a few on the ship and none were really close to one another, so if this was the wrong one they had a small hike ahead of them. And with a soggy pillow case of fruit on his back he had very little desire to go elsewhere at the moment. "Stop number two, here at last," he said, setting the fruit down beside the door. Just one look at the panel and he became rather optimistic T'charrl was inside the room, the door was locked. A lot of the rooms were locked by default just because they weren't in use, but storage rooms were generally left open. The only reason that one might have been locked then, he surmised, was someone was hiding inside. Confident they had found their friend now Takeshi stepped up to the panel and cycled through the menus to override the lock, using his free hand to knock on the door. "T'charrl, I know you're in there buddy! Shu and I are coming in with fruit!" he called, finishing his work on the panel. Taking a step back he peered in as the doors opened, letting the light from the hallway illuminate the room. Having been looking at the floor he noticed something peculiar right away, an oddly bloated looking limb was fairly close to the entrance. Coupled with what sounded like ragged breathing and he just knew something wasn't right. Slowly he lifted his eyes up, taking in what he could only describe as a horrific-bug-monster-thing, nightmare fuel basically. Staring at it for a moment he couldn't so much as budge, basically frozen by fear. At last he verbally reacted to it with a shout of fright before he fell backwards, passing out promptly and fainting as he fell back into the hallway with a thud.

Okay, this was good. Haku was beginning to recognize some of these rooms now so he had to be getting close. Still would be awfully nice to have some general sense of direction, a map or some signs, anything. Gods knew if his voice would be heard or not but later on he was going to find the guy in charge and complain about this. Vegeta right? Like the former King and Prince, weird that he knew someone related to those two. It had made him wonder once or twice if there were any descendants of Goku on here as well, that would certainly give the King reason to worry. None that he could tell though, the only other Saiyans were the Princes and some cut and dry soldiers. Soldiers that could probably kick his butt all things considered, but regular soldiers nonetheless. Not much further now if he remembered right, and with any luck he'd find T'charrl sitting around. Haku was not hurried whatsoever in his trip down here thus far, but his pace was bound to change once he heard someone shouting in fear. It was kind of freaky to hear and made him stop at first, looking around utterly confused for the source. It hadn't sounded all that far off, and unless he was mistaken it sounded oddly a lot like Takeshi. Oh great, what the hell was on board that was making one of the Princes freak out? Swallowing nervously he glanced back at the empty hallway, debating on turning back and leaving whatever was ahead well alone. If he did that though and something happened he'd be ostracized even further, probably sent out of an air lock into space. Groaning he began running in the direction of the scream then, feeling his skin crawling in anticipation of something nasty.
Since speaking only seemed to bother Viral, and make him even more paranoid Yumi opted to keep quiet for the duration of their walk. It worried her a little in doing so, leaving Viral with his thoughts like that. She couldn't possibly know what was going through his mind and couldn't keep from worrying that it might be negative, especially given what had just happened. The biggest reason she'd wanted to keep talking was to prevent the Beastman from slipping into a slump, but she wouldn't force him to talk. Come to think of it there wasn't an awful lot for them to discuss at the moment anyways, whatever was being said was simple rambling and not much more. She might try to reminisce or bring up more positive memories just to keep Viral's mood up but normally when she tried that it was just met with a whole lot of negativity. Sigh... Whatever had made him relax should really try now making him happy, but not too happy because that would be weird. Letting out a faint sigh she began to notice someone staring at her, figuring it was Viral since they were otherwise alone. Glancing over her shoulder curiously she raised an eyebrow, folding her hands behind her back. "What is it? Do I have something on my back?" she asked jokingly with a smile, "Or do you not want me to be quiet now?"

"You're telling me you have a secret den too...?" Takeshi asked, giving Shu a perplexed look, "Where? There's nowhere in our room you could hide or make a fort or anything. Or are you just imagining you have a den?" Odd little guy, who knew what he did when the older boy wasn't around. It was rare but there were periods when Shu was left alone for a bit and goodness knows what he did in that time. Though normally he wouldn't pay this a second thought it sort of worked to what he was thinking about before with the forts. "Hey Shu... How about you show me this little den next time we've got some free time? i want to see it." Who knows what he was referring to as a den, probably hiding in the closet or something. The more they went along the more bothersome Takeshi was finding the sack of fruit to be. In a bit of hindsight he really shouldn't have used something made of cloth for fruit, juices were now leaking a bit and making the case damp, and more annoyingly sticking to his back as a result. Scowling at the annoyance he adjusted the bag, nearly dragging it along now as he held it at his side instead. Who in the world was hiccuping? Taking a glance behind him he managed to just catch Shu bounce a bit with a hiccup, making Takeshi snicker under his breath as he tried to hide it. "Yeah, it might scare him, good point. Alright then, in that case we'll just look around until we find him, no big deal."

Storage, storage. Nope, none of these were storage. There were utility rooms, supply rooms and a few housing areas but no storage room thus far. "Stupid ships... I never got why they don't have maps..." Haku grumbled, scuffing his shoe along the linoleum floor in annoyance. Honestly, how hard could it be to find this one room when he had been there before. It would be easier if the damn ship wasn't so same-y too, every inch of the corridors looked practically the same. They really needed to put something in these to help you find your way, either that or he just had to spend more time wandering around to remember the layout. Hm, finding T'charrl wouldn't be such a chore if he had energy to trace like a normal Saiyan. The alien had energy alright but it wasn't Ki, at least not wholly Ki. Haku swore when they spared he had felt some from the Kaesstrian but it was way too little to be all of his energy. These Princes made some weird friends alright, Beastmen and some alien bug person. Even the King's military didn't have such weirdos, but that was probably due to the whole 'Saiyan supremacy' ideal he tried shoving down everyone's throats.
Yumi figured the boys would still be eating, knowing their appetites. Especially with how many of them had been there, the amount of food they must have made probably dwarfed what she, Viral and Vegeta had. The man with her however was skeptical about that, probably more just being worried over being spotted than anything else. Takeshi aside she couldn't see anyone being rude, or stupid enough to comment on Viral's condition to his face. Kabocha maybe, though he seemed to learn when to keep his trap closed pretty quickly. To be fair he ought not have any issue then with anyone teasing him, albeit she doubted that was what he worried about really. Earlier she might have argued with Viral potentially attacking his friends, tell him there wasn't a chance of that happening whatsoever. After personally being on the receiving end of one of his outbursts however Yumi wasn't so confident that the others would be safe just yet. So they'd just keep moving, quick and quiet as so no one would spot the Beastman in his current state. Taking the lead again she called after Viral, smiling apologetically when he reprimanded her for being loud. "Sorry, didn't mean to. I'll be super quiet," she added, whispering the last bit. There wasn't much reason for them to talk anyways here, she just felt like having a bit of conversation rather than walking in silence. It might help Viral's sanity a bit too, all the more reason to keep the chatter going.

In spite of his normally horrid lack of a sense of direction Takeshi knew precisely where T'charrl was. Or he had a damn good guess going off of Shu's idea anyways, this could end up being a dead end for all they knew. Still it was worth a try as they had nothing else to go off of right now. It didn't make particularly a whole lot of sense, T'charrl going off to hide in a storage room. His bedroom was just as private, he could lock the door, goodness knows a bed was comfier than the floor and it was closer than the storage room too. "Secret den...? What, you think he's putting up a fort or something in there?" Takeshi asked, smirking amused, "Stacking up boxes and making himself a place to hide. I should feel bad for thinking that... But it's kinda funny." Hm, on a random note to himself he made sure to try doing that with Shu sometime. He'd seen kids do it on the television before, it was something they liked to do right? Since they needed more fun things to do as brothers he figured that would be good as the next idea. If they might be searching the entirety of the ship then they had best get going, hanging around here was only going to make it take even longer. Giving Shu a sense of urgency they hurried back the way they had come, needing to go all the way back towards the mess hall just to reach the storage room. "If he's not here then we're using the radio system to just make an announcement, we'll call him to us because I really don't wanna look around all day, you know?"

The decision to go and find T'charrl was a fairly easy one to make, there weren't a ton of people Haku could really go to. The issue came soon after he'd arrived at that decision and realized he hadn't the faintest idea where to find the Kaesstrian. Every time he'd seen the alien it had been with other people, or down in that storage room. T'charrl had to have a bedroom somewhere and was likely there, but he didn't have the foggiest idea where that might be. The chances of someone telling him were slim he figured so he'd have to figure that out on his own. Either that or venture a trip down to the storage room just to check. It would be weird to find T'charrl there, but since he didn't have any idea otherwise it wasn't exactly a waste of time. Now... Where was that room again? He knew what floor it was thanks to the markings on the walls; Each level of the ship had colored streaks running along the outer walls, and occasionally a number appeared in bold font to indicate the level you were currently on. It was on the first level, where he was, he just wasn't sure where exactly the room was. "Shouldn't be too tough... Only a few dozen rooms to check..." Haku mumbled, smiling exasperatedly, "If the morons that built it were half-intelligent then the door will be labelled too... Maybe..."
Yumi sighed to herself but didn't argue any further, she knew Viral wasn't going to agree with her. She couldn't disagree either that Vegeta needed a break after working incessantly, they could afford him a few hours rest at least. She just hoped that the Beastman was going to be alright for those few hours without any real kind of assistance. She should be a bit more optimistic, so long as she was around nothing would go wrong. Hopefully that was the case since nobody else was likely available, not that Viral would accept anyone else. If only she knew what had happened to make him calm down back there, they could replicate it if by some awful chance her friend did go wild again. Exiting the elevator once it had stopped, Yumi glanced back at Viral and offered to help him walk only to see him go back to all fours. With a small smile she moved aside to make room for him to step out, taking a curious look around as he had. "Worried someone might see you?" she asked, glancing at the Beastman, "You'll be fine. Most everyone is probably busy. Plus we saw the boys and their friends go into the kitchen, so they're probably still eating. Don't worry so much." It wasn't like Viral was naked, that would be worse if he was spotted out like that. Though in a way she supposed he was, obviously right now he didn't have any clothes on. That made her giggle slightly, hiding a smile by turning away and starting back down the corridor. "To your room we go!"

Takeshi was so darn sure T'charrl was going to be in here yet there wasn't so much of a trace of their friend. If he wasn't in here then who knows where he could be, the ship was fairly big and would take a little while to search. Sighing he stepped further into the room, putting his hands on his hips as he walked back and forth. Where could their friend have gone if not for his room? It didn't seem like the Kaesstrian to wander aimlessly, so he'd think that the guy would have gone to somewhere he was familiar with. By that logic it had to be somewhere he'd been before, and the mess hall was already out of that, so was the training hall probably. Where else could he be then? "Eh...? Where we last found him...?" he asked, glancing over at Shu. It took a second for the gears to start turning, but when they did he quickly remembered the spot. "Oh yeah, that room! I don't know why he'd go there over his room, but I guess it's worth a check!" He'd take any single place over wandering aimlessly, albeit it might come to that if this turned out to be a bust as well. "Come on, no time to sit around, we gotta go find him and get him this fruit!" Feeling a bit more ready to get a move on, and feeling optimistic they might find their friend this time Takeshi took it upon himself to carry the fruit. Rather than scoop them up as Shu had though he searched around a bit before finding a clean pillow case, packing away the fruit inside and slinging said case over his shoulder, heading for the corridor again. "Let's go small fry, we've got a Kaesstrian to feed."

Being on such a quiet, empty ship was still taking a lot of getting used to. Before arriving on Earth there had always been chatter and sounds reverberating constantly as a large crew couldn't quite be silent. Now that they had a large ship with a small group however Haku was surprised by just how silent something this big could be, it was kind of weird. The only noise he could hear was the soft footfalls he was making while walking along, and the occasional sound of air being blown about from the vents. The silence was even stranger still since he had spent so much time in East City where even during the night it was lively and boisterous. The quiet might not be so bad had he someone to chat with, yet as the case tended to be he was left to his own devices. Hmph, he really didn't see the point of being brought along if he was going to be outcast like this. Not that it would be much different from when he was with the Saiyans, though at least then he had their banter and taunts, which by now was actually preferable to the silence. Maybe if he got bold later Haku would go find someone to do anything with, he didn't particularly care. Training hadn't been half bad honestly and he knew he could stand to get stronger, so he might look for someone willing to do that. The only one he'd sparred with really was T'charrl and they weren't what you would call friends, all because he might have been a bit of a jerk when they met. Not his fault, orders were orders. If he could change how that all went about he would but he couldn't, and weren't the good guys supposed to forgive and forget or whatever? So T'charrl should be cool with it by now, but he wasn't. Eh... He had nothing else going on so he might as well go see the alien, find out what he was up to. Hopefully he wasn't too busy.
Yumi put her hands up defensively and sighed, getting the point she was being much too nosy. She was curious about what progress Vegeta and Viral had made, the former didn't share anything of his work with her. Not that she'd probably be able to understand it, he tended not to simplify things when explaining them. So asking him was as much a dead end as asking Viral was. "Well... At least you've been making some progress, so that's good..." she muttered, smiling slightly, "Maybe it'll keep getting better from here, if you two work at it really hard. Maybe... When you've changed back and feel better we can go see Vegeta? See if he's gotten anywhere with that thing he was looking into?" Yumi honestly didn't recall what their friend had been researching now, she wasn't the most in-tune with her inner scientist in spite of being surrounded by them all her life. You'd think a girl would pick up on a few things growing up in a place like Capsule Corp. Leaning against the wall she lifted a hand, brushing hair behind her ear and letting out a soft yawn. "But that's later... Let's get you back to your room first." And if he was okay with being alone she'd go to hers as well. A nap didn't sound half bad at the moment, just something brief after the excitement she just had. The elevator came to a halt at last and a light ding sound signaled its arrival, as did the doors parting. Looking across at Viral she stepped out first, holding out a hand for him if he needed it.

T'charrl had to be in his room, otherwise they were going to have to search the whole ship for him. They would if need be, the whole purpose of their being out right now was to bring him fruit and spend time with their friend. Takeshi didn't particularly care for searching each and every room however and would like it if T'charrl was here. Giving the door a good knocking he then called through to try and get their friend to come out. No reply whatsoever, he couldn't even hear anyone moving around when he pressed his ear against the door. Frowning he stepped back a bit, tapping a foot in thought before glancing at Shu. "Maybe he's asleep? I know he doesn't sleep a ton, but this might be one of those times. He could not just be hearing us is all." They had come all the way here so he'd rather make doubly sure before wandering off again. Using the panel to the room he tried opening it, disappointed to find it locked. No big deal though since he knew the combination, going through the paces to put it in. With the last button click the door slid open, revealing the room beyond to them. Takeshi smiled as he stepped in through the doorway and looking towards the bed expecting to see the Kaesstrian. Instead he disappointingly found an empty bed, all made up as it had been probably all day. Nowhere in the room could he spot their friend, meaning now they had to go search around. "A you've gotta be kidding me..." Takeshi groaned, his shoulders slumping, "Alright... He's not in here, so where the hell is he?"
Yumi was really torn right now between what they ought to be doing. Viral was obviously in pain, and there was a risk of things getting worse for all she knew. in that regard then their course of action ought to be obvious; Vegeta should be notified and he should take Viral into his care again. If not then there was no telling what may happen with the Beastman, or how his condition might deteriorate. On the other hand there was Viral's own desire not to be seen and staying out of their friend's view, if only for a short while. A bit of time may not hurt, but she definitely worried what a prolonged period could cause. So not only was she blaming herself for what had happened, but now Yumi found herself utterly devoid of how to best handle the situation. They had developed the ability for Viral to change back, albeit that was in a regular feline form. All these extra bits and bobs were hardly normal, and goodness knows if they complicated the process or not. Maybe she had no reason to worry, if Viral could actually revert on his own power then they would be okay. Heck, he'd calmed down on his own, hadn't he? She had to ask that since it was still confusing as to why his assault abruptly stopped like it had. "You still didn't answer my question," Yumi said, smiling slightly as the elevator opened. Stepping inside she moved against the wall to make room, ushering Viral in after her. "How did you calm down...? Is that what you and Vegeta were working on before?"

Takeshi knew that T'charrl was always good, or semi-good anyways, it wasn't a question of morality. Their friend just had a habit of transforming to look... Unsettling, so appearance wise he was anything but good. It had taken him a while thus far just to really be okay with the Kaesstrian's latest form so the notion of him changing again sort of threw him through a loop. So long as nothing agitated T'charrl he shouldn't go changing on them, that was the hope anyways. He supposed they would find out one way or another shortly as they were getting ever closer to their friend's room, where he ought to be if Takeshi had guessed right. "If it's bad then yeah, we'll find him and we'll help him," the older boy agreed with a nod, "I don't know how we'll help him... But we'll figure something out. Do you think him eating fruit helps him feel better? That it's not just for something to eat?" The sprite had said stuff about energy, maybe it wasn't just Ki and stuff like that he was referring to. Food gave you energy too, that guy could have meant that for all they knew. Seemed a bit odd though that the solution would be stuffing T'charrl full like a turkey, it didn't make a whole lot of sense. Now that they were in the proper hallway Takeshi picked up the pace slightly, putting on a smile for the Kaesstrian when they found him. His door was closed as usual, and it was nigh impossible to know if he was in there without actually checking. Rapping his knuckles on the frame lightly he leaned close, cupping his mouth with his free hand, "Hellooooo? T'charrl? You in there buddy? We got fruit!" he called, as if adding fruit would prompt their friend to reply quicker.
Yumi thought they really ought to get Viral looked at, even if it meant fessing up to Vegeta. He might change back on his own but there was no guarantee, and no knowing what may happen if he stayed this way for long. The Beastman however had no such desire to go and see their friend, he more sounded like he wanted to avoid Vegeta for now. Probably just as well, she wasn't wholly confident in any ideas she had right now. After all, her latest brilliant plan had caused Viral to change and she'd nearly been torn to bits as a result. So they would go to his room instead, she could always stay there for a bit just to make sure things weren't going to get any worse. "Yeah... We should probably avoid food for now... Better safe than sorry, right?" Yumi asked, smiling meekly. Shame, if he had eaten earlier he might not want that steak, albeit the hunger could be a result of him changing too. Rubbing at her face she glanced over at Viral, "I can stay with you, if you're okay with that. I don't know what I can do for you, but at the very least I can keep you from going anywhere until you feel comfortable to?" Anyway she could help she would seeing as she was the one at fault here. It wouldn't alleviate guilt even if it ended up helping Viral but it was better than leaving him alone and doing nothing. Reaching the elevator some ways away she paused at the door, pressing the call button before biting her lip, peering at her friend from the corner of her eyes. "Uh... I wanted to ask... How did you calm down? Before you never just stopped like that, did you stop yourself?"

Even for someone who spent so much time around Shu it was pretty hard to tell what the little guy was saying. Takeshi near reached out and yanked the apple free, but figured he'd best not, it would probably upset his brother. Furrowing his brow slightly he listened pretty intently just to make out the words, catching the gist of what was being said after a moment. "Hey, it's bad for other people too! He could be dangerous when he changes!" he said defensively, folding his arms over his chest stubbornly, "I mean, you shoulda seen the way he was looking at the Queen when he first changed, it was pretty scary! I m-mean it wasn't scary, but it was... Uh... Something wasn't right about it." If T'charrl did go and transform again he was moderately confident that he could handle it. Sure, their friend's appearance might unsettle him some, but it wouldn't be anything he hadn't seen before. Plus they had never actually been threatened before, and so long as T'charrl didn't change like he did on Kaesstra they were fine. Racing up the stairs to the upper floors, Takeshi stopped briefly for Shu to catch up, smiling a bit as they continued on. "I doubt he's changed, there's no reason he would. Like I said, he was probably feeling sick or something. We'll find our friend, same as always, probably sleeping in his bed. If he's asleep we put the fruit down and leave, if he's awake we see if he wants to play with us. Easy!"
