Between people putting themselves down, blatantly disregarding their health and being outright stubborn Yumi was nearing the end of her rope with boys. Be it pride or whatever there were plenty of men and boys alike as of late who refused to accept help, even when they so blatantly needed it. Seriously, it didn't make them weak, so what was the big deal? Maybe she needed a set to be able to understand them, albeit that wasn't something she ever, ever wished for herself. Narrowing her eyes at the Frost Demon as he fought against her offer she may have gotten a little snippy, only to become confused at his reply. There was more to what was said than just that but she got caught up on it, giving the stranger an odd look as he furrowed her brow. "But wait... So how do you... You know..." She wanted to say make children without blurting it out, but hastily thought better of it; she was a stranger, and who in their right mind would share something like that with a stranger? Getting red in the face she shook her head, sighing as she gave the Frost Demon an impatient look. "Never mind if you brought them here or not, we're handling it. Unless you want to be killed by these things I suggest you come along, you're in no condition to be fighting anything." Coming in gradually was the shuttle, apparent by the droning of the engines off in the distance. Turning to look at the incoming ship Yumi managed a faint smile, starting to move towards it while trying to pull the stranger along with her, mindful of not pulling too hard.

Haku knew Viral was in a bad way, but did he have to be so damn depressive? Just even sitting near the guy was bringing his mood down, and now he was going on about the dangers of being optimistic. Yet what the Beastman said rang true to a point, and he could even see some logic in it; waiting to think the fight was over wasn't so much pessimistic as it was realistic, you didn't want to let your guard down and assume everything was said and done. A quick look down at the battlefield told him that numbers were swiftly dwindling for the creatures, but now with that in mind he couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy about it. "Do you think there's more of them, maybe...?" Haku asked, frowning as she glanced around uncertainly, "Maybe we shouldn't be doing this... We don't really know what we're getting into." With that Frost Demon out of the picture, as well as Yumi, himself and Viral there was a fair small number of fighters they had to handle any threats. Sure, they had managed so far, but what if another wave came around? Would they be able to fend them off again? Shifting around on his feet uneasily Haku let out a sigh, squatting down and rubbing his head as he closed his eyes. "Jeez... Now you've got me all paranoid, great..."

Takeshi probably could have killed this last one himself, but why not finish things with a bang? He wanted to do something cool with it, and having himself, Shu and T'charrl kill the last monster seemed like a pretty awesome note to end on. Taking the lead he rushed on in after it, dancing around as he managed to bring it to the ground like others before. He could have stood there and hit it again, but why not let the others get some Ki practice in? Smiling widely he jumped away from the creature, motioning for his brother and friend to let it have it, and let them have it they did. Covering his eyes as the blast slammed into their target he grinned from behind his arms, lowering them when things settled and staring appreciatively at the crater that was now the creature's grave. "Hey, nice shot guys! Blew that thing to Hell!" he shouted, laughing as he clapped for them. So that was pretty easy, they'd finished off the whole lot of them in just a few minutes. Were the Namekians even aware of what they had done though? Hm, hopefully if they ran into some they'd believe the story they had to tell. Coming back down out of the air Takeshi landed with a small hop, running over to Shu and T'charrl, giving both of them a clap on the shoulder. "That thing didn't even know what hit it! Damn guys, you did great!"

Vegeta was hard pressed to believe it was over so soon, and yet there was nothing else coming after them. It had been a decent sized group of enemies, and to think they could have beaten them all so quickly, it seemed a bit odd. The monster on the ship from before was craftier, slipping in and out of surfaces to avoid being struck, so why hadn't any here done that? Was that a special variant or were they just too quick in dispatching them this time around? Either way there was little point in debating that now, they were through and could move on to helping Viral, something he was far more willing to undertake. Smiling slightly himself Vegeta glanced up at the shuttle, watching as Yumi helped the Frost Demon inside, giving a small wave to Sasha and his friend. "Great job everyone, that was easier than I expected. Looks like we'll be meeting with the Namekians in no time." Albeit where that might be he hadn't a clue, they still had yet to encounter a village, or a single Namekian for that matter. It was probably that they had gone into hiding because of the beasts, yet he found it hard to believe they'd gotten much farther than the crash site given their prompt response.

"Sasha and I may stack back, we need to get some information on this alien and his ship," Ricken interjected, walking over with his hand clasped over the bite wounds, "You can take the shuttle though, we won't be needing it for now." Well they knew who, or rather what was piloting the ship, but that was only the tip of the iceberg. Who were they exactly, why had they been running, and who were they affiliated with? There were most certainly neutral parties in this war, but Ricken was hard pressed to think that someone this capable was just sitting things out. Glancing over at the ship he frowned, moving towards it as he wondered how those creatures could have fit inside. They could fade in and out of solid objects, as he recalled, so did they all just sit within the walls? Standing at the wreck he crouched down, turning over a slab of the wall to inspect the scrap and pausing as he did so. What was that smell...? It wasn't burning oil as he initially thought, he knew that odor. This was much more potent, and almost smelled like rotting meat. Furrowing his brow he moved to look around when an abrupt, loud roar broke out, sounding like it came from quite close. Sure enough a large arm sprouted out of the ground, three talon-like digits gripping the dirt as the ground began to give way and crumble. Dashing away from the spot Ricken watched in shock as another arm appeared, and after the limbs a long, narrow head emerged; sharp, jagged teeth hung out of the lips of the creature, and six oval eyes sat on its head, three on either side. Spines covered its neck and presumably its back, though it was hard to see what more lie beneath the surface. What's more, the creature climbed out a bit more and more limbs appeared, more slender with each sporting what looked almost like scythe blades, writhing about fitfully as they emerged. "What... In the hell is that thing...?!"

Vegeta had only been on his way back to Viral when the roar alerted him, freezing immediately in his tracks with a look of pure confusion. Whatever that had been it was large, you could tell just by the sheer volume of its shout, and it was close. Turning his head around he watched in silent awe as a limb struck up out at Ricken, quickly followed by the other and its head. In a matter of mere seconds a new, far more imposing monster stood before them, resembling something of a serpent with numerous bladed limbs and spines, a sort of frilled cover fit around its neck. Letting out a loud shriek its frill vibrated, the scream being quite high pitched as Vegeta was made to cover his ears. Gritting his teeth as he stared up at the creature he quickly turned to the shuttle, waving for them to get away, "Go! Get out of here! Don't let it near the ship!" They couldn't lose the shuttle, nor could they let the Frost Demon die, he had plenty of explaining to do. After a few seconds Yumi re-emerged, and the shuttle promptly went up higher in the air, moving away to what he hoped was a safe distance.
There was a fair chance the Frost Demon was the enemy, and that going over to try and help him could end badly. Even so Yumi felt she had to try, it was hard to just sit there and see someone injured and not do anything. Slowly rising up to meet the alien she smiled politely when she approached him, putting her hands up for extra measure in hopes he wouldn't be frightened. To no surprise he was cautious of her, as he was probably of everyone present right now. If a group of people suddenly appeared around her and started fighting she supposed she'd be the same way, so she couldn't quite blame him. "Oh, you understand me...? Thank goodness! And I mean we're not your enemy, so relax, I'm here to help." There wasn't much she could do in the middle of the fray like this, but as soon as Sasha came by with the ship they could patch him up real quick. Smiling as she moved closer to try taking a look at the Frost Demon she paused when he told her off, claiming he didn't need any help from her. For someone that was quite obviously hurt and struggling it was a bold faced lie, and one that annoyed her. Closing her eyes Yumi smiled slightly, shaking her head before looking at the Frost Demon with a narrow gaze, "I am so sick of you men all putting on the bravado. You're hurt, I can see you're hurt, so just let me help you," she said firmly, reaching out and trying to grab one of his arms to pull him along, "We have supplies on our ship, I'll get you patched up real quick, now come on."

Haku was ready to fight, he supposed, but that didn't mean he wanted to. In fact if the whole battle ended without his so much as having to lift a finger then that would be alright by him, though he doubted things would be that easy. Watching as Viral took a seat beside him he debated on doing the same, settling instead on just standing there, arms folded as he walked around a bit. Even in his nervous state he made a try at reassuring the Beastman, scrunching up his shoulders when he was more or less shot down immediately. Okay so maybe Viral wouldn't exactly be their target, but you never knew, something could happen. "You're saying that like someone's going to be eaten... Not exactly optimistic..." Haku mumbled, sniffing as he watched T'charrl easily kill yet another beast. The alien could really fight, way better than he'd initially thought. Sure he was afraid of T'charrl before, but that was more because of his sheer size and brawn; dashing around soundlessly, slicing the enemy up, that was a whole different kind of scary. Knowing he wasn't nearly that fast or that lethal was kind of a letdown, he really couldn't measure up to anyone else in this group.

Ricken could almost say this was too easy now, as knowing how to kill the beasts made dealing with them a simple task. Though he loathed to admit it too it was useful having the Saiyans around, they were making the job go much faster than he had anticipated. Even still, he wanted to make sure he didn't fall behind in terms of combat, he had to prove to himself he was every bit as good as someone naturally gifted with combat. Ignoring the dull throbbing and bleeding of his arm he looked for another creature to fight, having no troubles finding any as two took immediate attention thanks to his blood. Smiling bitterly he stood ready, watching as both came barreling down on him. When they were close enough he jumped into the air, placing a hand on the back of each and releasing Ki, the shots knocking them forward and causing them to slide into the dirt some few meters. Landing back around he ran back over at them, being caught by surprise when one spun around surprisingly quick and tried to gut him with one of its claws. Skidding to a halt he braced for the pain, watching instead as the limb was grabbed, Takeshi standing there with a snide smirk on his face.

"Hey... Thank me later," Takeshi teased, turning and grunting as he lifted the creature up and slammed it onto its back. With it helpless he kept a firm grip on the arm, tucking it beneath his as he held a hand in its face. Man these things were ugly, and all of that roaring and growling they did was really annoying. Charging up Ki he grinned, blasting away casually as he essentially melted its head off. "Shut up already..." Releasing the arm he watched as it flopped to the ground lifelessly, the body following suit and vanishing as the head had seconds before. Weird creatures, these, he wondered what the hell they were to go and disappear like that. Behind him he could hear Ricken getting to work on the other monster, no doubt not needing any help at this point. Instead then Takeshi went and looked for Shu, watching as his little brother and T'charrl easily put away yet another monster. In the meantime Vegeta was finishing off another, having evidently smacked one so hard it was half buried inside of a rocky outcrop before promptly being killed off as well. Heh, and they were worried about this, this whole fight was way too easy. Smiling confidently Takeshi moved over to join his brother, glancing to the side seeing the last creature staring up at Yumi and the Frost Demon, snarling hungrily at them. "Hey buddy! Let's get this last one!" he called, gesturing over to it before dashing at the creature. It noticed him fairly quick, taking a swipe which he dodged easily enough, laughing all the while. Landing at the animal's side he slammed his shoulder into its stomach, making it stumble as he then kicked at one of its legs, knocking it off balance and toppling it onto its side. "Shu, T'charrl, give it a good blast!" Takeshi yelled, jumping away to clear himself of it.
Takeshi wasn't totally sure if leaving Shu to fight for himself was the best idea, even if T'charrl was around. Realistically they should probably be fighting side by side, but he was just as eager to get into things and start smacking these monsters around. Far as he was concerned they were fair game, and the fact that they were ruining what should be Viral's first day of recovery kind of ticked him off. After easily breaking the windpipe of one of the creatures he moved to take on another, pausing and cringing when a nearby blast made him spin around in surprise. Apparently the weird alien guy had fired it, and awfully close to Shu for that matter. Glaring upwards the scowled, pointing a finger at the alien angrily. "Hey buddy, watch where you're shooting! You hit Shu and I'll blast you right back!" he shouted, giving his brother a look to make sure he was unharmed. In his momentary fit he'd ignored one of the beasts sneaking up on him, gasping in surprise as he was rammed from behind and sent tumbling onto the ground. Groaning painfully at the dull throbbing in his back Takeshi pushed himself to his feet, lifting his head and blinking owlishly as he came face to face with one of the creatures. With a small smile he moved to strike it, falling back as it tried biting his head off before scrambling to get to his feet. Behind him however he heard the beast whine pitifully, turning to see Ricken with his hand buried deep in its chest.

"Thank me later, there's another one coming," Ricken said, frowning as he pulled his metallic hand from the animal. Pushing past Takeshi he tightened his hand into a fist, not caring that it was one of the Ki creatures at the moment. These damn Saiyans were everywhere, and like hell he was going to sit back and let them do all the fighting. He might not be one of their kind but he would prove he was every bit as capable, he'd show his worth to Korian and Sayomi in doing so. Striking the creature hard in the nose it reeled back, only temporarily however as it quickly regained its balance and snarled at him. Cocking back his other arm Ricken threw another punch, then another, and soon he was throwing a flurry of them. It wouldn't kill the beast, he figured, but damned if it didn't feel good. It must have grown a brain during all the pummeling as finally the monster bit down on his arm, this time the real one. Cussing as teeth sliced into his flesh he smirked tightly, channeling a heavy amount of Ki into his hand inside the creature's maw. "Hungry? HERE!" Releasing all of the gathered energy in one sudden burst the monster seemed to split at the seems, pieces of it flying every which way and turning into mist as the others had before. Wrinkling his nose in disgust as he looked at the gouges on his arm he gave it a small shake; the pain wasn't bad, he'd wrap it up later and worry about it when they had down time.

Viral was upset and he had every right to be, but this was something they had to do. So maybe Vegeta had withheld information from them, but wouldn't they be doing this either way? If Namek was in danger Yumi was positive they'd come to its defense, it made little difference whether they had been asked to or not. Besides, with all of them now getting involved in the fighting there was no possible chance it would take long, they would have the Dragonballs soon enough. "I know Viral... But we're almost there, we'll go and collect them all right after this. We need to befriend the Namekians, right? What better way than to save their planet from some monsters?" That was provided anyone even know what in the world was going on out here. They could probably sense Ki, Dende could anyways, which Yumi figured meant they were at least aware of the blasts being fired. Just up ahead now she could see the fighting clearly, as well as the Frost Demon that Viral had warned them about. He looked injured, for one, and inevitably her instinct to see to him kicked in. Glancing around the area for a safe spot for the Beastman she settled on a small rise a bit ways from the fighting, heading down to it and easing Viral onto his feet. "Just stay right here and be safe, we'll handle this," Yumi said, smiling as she released her grip. Taking back off she didn't go right to the brawl, but rather up towards where the Frost Demon was floating. "Excuse me, do you need help?" she asked, smiling uncertainly as she approached him, "Uh... I'm a friend. Do you understand me?"

So these were the creatures everyone was going on about? They were... Well they were kind of scary. Haku had never seen anything like them, and if he didn't have to fight any then well that was just fine by him. Should anything try to attack Viral he'd keep to his word and defend him, but he was very hopeful that never came to pass. Watching as Yumi promptly left them to their own devices he sighed, smiling uneasily as he glanced over at the older man. Even in his debilitated state chances were Viral was still stronger, how was he supposed to protect him then? Looking away ashamed of himself Haku tried to psyche himself up, smacking his own cheeks before nodding a bit and watching the fighting unfold. "Don't you worry, nothing's going to get to you while I'm here," he said, trying and failing to sound confident. Cringing slightly as he watched Ricken wail on one of the beasts before killing it he frowned, shifting his weight around nervously on his feet. Yeah... This was going to be a great day if this kept up.
Haku knew he wasn't really a favorite among the group, but he figured he needed to keep trying to change that. Sure, he may not have an overwhelming desire to go and battle whatever Vegeta was facing, but that didn't mean he couldn't be useful. While not the most powerful fighter here by any stretch he was still capable, enough so to protect the weakened Viral should they go into things. Making the offer and expecting very little in return his eyes widened when the man accepted his offer, almost asking again just to reaffirm he'd heard correctly. "R-Right...! I'm up to the task, I know I am! Just keep close to me and you'll be fine," he said, nodding confidently as he managed a faint smile. There was one slight problem with this arrangement however, he couldn't well transport Viral like Takeshi had Shu, he was much too small. Thankfully Yumi appeared to be on the same page as him though as she went about handling that part.

"Come on, I'll fly us over, I'll get as close as we can while being safe," Yumi offered, smiling as she grabbed one of Viral's arms and linked it over her shoulder, wrapping her own arm around his waist. With her grip secure on the Beastman she sent one last glance in Sasha's direction, nodding before taking a step out and slowly rising up in the air; Viral wasn't the biggest fan of flying from what she remembered, so no rushing into things here. With Haku right on her tail she started on towards the fight, trying to get a feel as they went for what was going on. There were plenty of spikes of energy, most of which appeared to belong to either the Frost Demon or Vegeta by the feel of it.

Takeshi could barely make out the sight of the battle now, and just how many creatures there were. They'd never had to fight so many at one time before, just where in the world had they all come from? No way were they on Namek, he had a hard time believing the creatures just so happened to show up here. Once even closer he noticed a third person in the group too, and by the looks of them it was definitely not someone he recognized. Nor was it anything he'd seen before for that matter, definitely a new race of people. Slowly coming to a halt some few meters from the scene Takeshi looked down at the brawl beneath them, watching as Ricken worked on fending off an attacker and Vegeta avoided becoming a midday snack. "Jeez... It's a fricken mess here... We should probably get to work buddy," he said, smirking as he lowered both of them to the ground. Easing Shu off of his back he glanced over at T'charrl, gesturing to his brother before giving his shoulders a roll. "You two will be good together, yeah? I wanna see how many of these things I can kill." How many had the others gotten already anyways? A quick head count and he saw about ten, and having no idea how many were left he couldn't say. Well no problem then, he'd just have to kill as many as he could! Grinning as he picked out one of the creatures in the crowd he dashed into it, vanishing as it bit at thing air before appearing above it, slamming his elbow into its head between the eyes. Watching as it roared in pain he crouched below it, driving his knee up into its throat and promptly silencing the beast.

Finally, back up was arriving. While the fight was not overly dire Vegeta knew it would take them quite a long time to kill all of these, so having more numbers certainly helped. As expected once the brothers had arrived Takeshi dove headlong into the fray, not having the slightest regard for any kind of tactics or planning. Rolling his eyes in annoyance Vegeta looked over at Shu and T'charrl instead, gesturing to the still prowling enemies. "The plated ones have to be struck, and blow away the regular ones. Try anything else and you're wasting your time." Hopefully that knucklehead heard the directions as well, as luck had it he just so happened to be pummeling one of the stoned-skin beasts now, probably because he thought it a better way to show off. Giving a shake of his head Vegeta turned to fight the next monster, running at it and sliding beneath as it reared up to swipe at him. Whilst underneath it he delivered a hard, quick punch that made it stumble, stopping on the other side and getting into a crouch before kicking at its legs and knocking it onto its side. With its soft underbelly exposed he extended an arm, charging up Ki and letting loose a continuous blast that slammed into and engulfed the monster, leaving naught but a smoldering crater behind when he was through.
Something was definitely going on now, there was no two ways about it. From here it was impossible to tell what, but no way was Vegeta firing off blasts at the Namekians. That energy they had felt before, twice now, was that person fighting their friend? All of them going to help out seemed quite a lot like overkill, and Takeshi almost hesitated on going out until Viral filled everyone in. "What monsters? You mean those freaky things from before?" Takeshi asked, referring to whatever the hell those creatures were. Oh great, the smoke monsters, he'd been wishing he could see some again! Not. Frowning he peered out of the doorway uncertainly, really considering flying off right this instant and going to help out. When a blast of Ki was sent skyward he almost thought it was a missed shot, though with the Beastman's explanation he learned what it really was, and that was all the reason he needed to get moving. "Alright, time to go kill some creeps!" Grabbing hold of Shu's arm he smiled at his brother, hefting him up onto his back before promptly jumping out of the ship with the little guy in tow. The others could fly on their own accord, Takeshi figured, he'd bring his sibling along. Barely touching the plateau he shot forward across the ground, hurrying off in the direction of the battle.

"You're absolutely certain it's those things, Viral? How can you tell?" Yumi asked, frowning as she watched Takeshi and Shu take off. It was impossible to see anything from here, and she couldn't smell anything unusual either. Even with his failing well-being however she trusted what Viral had to say, and the fact the boys were going to help out was plenty of reason for her to follow suit. Nodding to herself she got up from her chair, looking at the others before hurrying over to the cockpit, "Sasha, can you keep the ship ready? If those things get in here we could be in trouble, it's best we keep it away from them."

"And miss out on all the fun fighting? I guess I'll have to, would hate to lose this thing," Sasha answered, smiling slightly as she patted the console, "I'll come by and do what I can to help, but you've got my word this ship's not going to end up getting invaded like the others."

Nodding gratefully Yumi let out a sigh, turning then to Viral as she offered out a hand. "We'll go, if you want, and do what we can to help, unless you'd rather stay here?" It would no doubt be better and safer for the Beastman to remain behind, but knowing him he would want to do anything but. While having to watch over him meant she wouldn't be fighting it was necessary, and she didn't mind it all that much.

"I'll defend Viral, if you'd like..." Haku offered, standing up and looking between Yumi and Viral meekly, "I know I don't seem like much of a fighter... But I can protect him. Besides, with you all fighting I doubt any will come after him anyways, especially if we're not in the middle of the fight, right?"

Well this had turned into a fine mess, Vegeta could really do without these damned things right now. Knowing how to fight them certainly made it easier, and yet he knew from experience one couldn't even truly slay these creatures, so didn't that in a way make this moot? For all he knew they could be fighting the very creatures that the rebels had fought days before, which considering where the Frost demon had come from wasn't totally implausible. There would be questions for the alien later no doubt, but for the time being they had to focus on the fight. "Stop trying to fight and just focus on recovering. You're no good to us in your current state," Vegeta said plainly, frowning as he descended to the ground. "Provide over watch if you must, let us do the fighting." Eying one of the creatures off to the side he promptly vanished, racing up to meet it and appearing just before the beast. As it reared up on its hind legs and let out a bellowing roar he quickly raised a fist and slammed it into its soft underbelly, watching as his arm seemed to just sink in to its soft flesh. With a smirk however Vegeta's hand began to glow, light escaping from the pit as Ki began to gather at a rapid pace. After a brief moment a blast of energy erupted from the creature's back, tearing it in two as the attack ripped straight on through it, the two halves falling to either side as they turned into that unusual purple mist. With that done he went in for another, trying to minimize the numbers as best he could.

Ricken was having a moderately difficult time of things, if only because he found himself fighting more than one. One plated beast and two of the regular ones, and all three seemed to be almost coordinated in their attacks. Jumping back hastily as one of the creatures lunged for him he spun his body around, kicking it hard in the side of the head and knocking it to the side. When another came for him he jumped into the air, using Ki to blast it in the back and create a large wound where mist began to leak out of, almost like blood. Whilst in mid air the plated monster made a jump for him, managing to latch onto his artificial arm and pull him abruptly back down to the ground. Grunting as he landed with a thud Ricken glared up at his attacker, quickly leaning to one side to avoid being stepped on. Punching the monster hard in the jaw he split his knuckles on the rough skin, but managed to free up his limb from its mouth. Then, extending his fingers straight he cocked back his arm, using it as a makeshift blade as he drove it up through the bottom of the monster's mouth, straight through and up through the top of its skull. Emitting a pitiful growl he yanked his arm free, rolling to the side and getting to his feet as the creature fell down and began to vanish again. While watching the mist from his own kill he noticed something... It was seeping back into the ground rather than dissipating, why was that?
Whether Takeshi had a bad feeling or not didn't much factor into things, he just wanted to get off of the ship. Sitting around all idle like while someone else got to have fun agitated him, and there was a whole stinking planet for them to go and explore! He and Shu weren't going to go chase after Vegeta, sure, but at the very least they could hop out on the nearby plateau and walk around. Getting up out of his seat he glanced at his younger sibling, smiling amused as he fussed around with his belt straps. "Of course T'charrl can come if he wants, anyone can," he answered, undoing the harness easily enough for Shu. The more the merrier, he supposed, and maybe it would mean they could do something like play or spar to help pass time. Figuring everyone was all set to go Takeshi moved to jump out of the ship, pausing as he came across Viral and Yumi sitting there. Glancing down at the Beastman he smiled slightly, looking down at the ground beneath them before back at his friend. "Hey... Wanna come join us? I mean even if you don't play or whatever it's gotta be better than sitting inside of here, you know? It'll be fun." Or maybe it wouldn't be, but hell, it was worth a shot right? No sooner after having asked that question did a sudden, distant explosion alert everyone in the ship, an eery silence falling over the group before Takeshi leaned out of the ship, blinking surprised seeing a new pillar of smoke rising into the air. "Uh... Anyone else feel that...?" Another energy spike, and evidently an attack. What was going on?

Things were pretty damn bothersome right now, and not just because he'd had his arm torn apart. The last time they had fought with these damned creatures they were a real pain to kill; not impossible to kill, but not easy either. Glancing at the mechanical limb he scoffed, tearing off the rest of the fabricated flesh and tossing it aside. "No, I'm not satisfied! I am so fricken sick of these things!" he shouted back, glaring between the two creatures. The one with the stone skin was going to be the easier of the two to kill, it was the other he was concerned with. "Listen, these things only will die if you hit them right! The big stony one you've got to smash, and the other one you need to blow it to pieces! Don't be stupid, keep that in mind!" Well that attack on their ships was good for something after all, he knew exactly how to kill these things now. Rearing back some he debated on which to go after first, settling on the stony-hide beast first. Dashing forward he watched as it began a charge at him as well, releasing a monstrously loud roar as it did so. Cringing at the volume he reached out with his artificial hand, grabbing the beast on the nose and vaulting himself up and over it. Once in mid air he pivoted his body, using Ki to fly back down and deliver a hard kick right in the middle of the monster's back, driving it flat onto its stomach. Reeling back the same artificial arm then he punched down hard on the top of its skull, delivering a series of hits until the creature stopped moving. All the while however the other was encroaching on him, and he only just noticed that when it had dove towards him, knocking him off the other beast.

"I'll give you credit, you're a better fighter than I expected," Vegeta mused, watching as Ricken worked over the plated creature. Dealing with these things suddenly seemed easier now that they knew that information, though their problems were far from over. On top of Ricken being attacked off-guard Vegeta noticed stirring all around them, and one by one more of the creatures began to appear. How in the world had so many of those damned things end up here? For such a small craft he counted fifteen in all counting the two they were engaged with, it was a veritable squadron of those beasts. Scoffing in annoyance he figured they needed backup, not overly confident that the two of them and an injured Frost demon could stave off the horde alone. With no scouters on them though he couldn't well call in, but that didn't mean they were without communication. Lifting an arm into the air he charged a burst of Ki and sent it skyward, letting it explode in a wide blast to hopefully work as a signal flare; Viral might recognize it, he wasn't so sure about the others though. With that done he couldn't linger in the air any longer, they had to get to work. Watching as Ricken kicked away the creature attacking him he extended both arms, scanning for the nearest group of beasts before promptly beginning to fire fast, concentrated shots of Ki down at them, intending to at the very least impede them until reinforcements arrived.
"Frieza did all that...? And you're saying this person is one of them?" Yumi repeated, frowning as she looked towards the black smoke. And Vegeta was down there, with only Ricken to back him up. For their friends' sakes she really hoped this one wasn't that powerful, otherwise they had a real mess on their hands. Now she felt nervous, her ears folding down as she glanced back and forth between the crash site and Viral. They probably should go help, just to be safe, and yet the Beastman brought up a fair point again; he couldn't really fight now, and bringing him out there with a potentially dangerous opponent could be disastrous. For his own sake they would stay put, and only if fighting started would they leave. Hopefully everyone else shared that sentiment with her, they still weren't completely certain this person was an enemy yet anyways. "We'll wait... They'll call for help if they need it..." Yumi mumbled, nodding confidently as she managed a small smile, "Besides, Vegeta knows how to fight, he'll be able to defend himself until we get there. I mean, how strong could this person even be?"

Takeshi couldn't spend too much time worrying about his would-be brawl with Viral, not when Shu was upset over something. Plus there had been that energy spike, and the more they sat here the more he wondered about it. Just from the way it felt he knew it wasn't Saiyan, and it didn't feel like Kaesstrian either, so what was it? Though Ki was pretty universal it had a different sort of sensation to it depending on what kind of race used it, and from their traveling around he was barely able to discern the differences now. The little spark he'd gotten from that surge was unlike anything he'd felt before, so was this a totally new foe? "No one's gonna hit us buddy, don't you worry. We'll be safe up here," Takeshi reaffirmed, smiling slightly as he glanced in the direction of the crash, "It's Vegeta and Ricken I'm not so sure about..." Namekians could be strong, though he wasn't super confident in that fact. Their people were pretty isolated from what he understood and probably did very little fighting, so what reason then would there be to be powerful? Sure he figured there were a few exceptional folks, but for the most part they were likely your average fighter. Leaning forward in his seat he rubbed his hands together, starting to grow pretty stir-crazy from just sitting here. "Hey Shu... Wanna hop out and just look around? I bet we can do that no problem." That and he was feeling the need to get a bit closer, especially overhearing what Viral and Yumi were talking about. If this guy might be that strong then their friends were going to need back up, like it or not.

Vegeta knew they needed to be wary, as an injured person could do desperate things when cornered like this; at the same time it was crucial they make their stance known and not give in to the Frost demon's demands. Obviously the boy was startled, so with a little careful negotiating perhaps they could calm him down enough to talk this over. That was of course if Ricken could clam up for a moment, his constant interjections and abrasiveness were a threat to the entire discussion. "We can help with your injuries if you'll just cooperate, we've no qualms with you," Vegeta repeated, watching as the alien grabbed his ribs painfully. So he was attacked then, which seemed obvious enough, but by who? Or what, as the case may be, seeing as there was nothing else here with them at present. At least nothing they could see, he reflected, glancing around the area curiously as he tightened his hands into fists. The discussion from days past with Sayomi came to mind, in particular a certain aspect of it concerning those beasts they had fought. It was a far stretch, he figured, but was it possible... "We are, I said we would and we will. But first we'll need to ensure this planet isn't in any immediate danger." Nevermind the planet, what if they were in danger? It was barely audible, but a low snarling caught Vegeta's attention, making him tense up as his eyes shifted to the source of the sound. Behind the frost demon he spotted a figure coming up out of the ground, looking quite similar to the creatures they had fought before, only this one sported a thick, cracked hide that resembled rock. Eyes widening in surprise he watched as it emerged from the ground, promptly lunging at the Frost demon from behind.

The sound of teeth tearing into metal was a bit puzzling at first, as one would expect the beast to be ripping into the Frost demon. Rather than reach its mark however the beast found itself biting down on Ricken's arm, which while somewhat of a relief was still cause for alarm. Or it would be were there any sign of injury whatsoever. In fact the rebel was grinning, though he strained to hold the beast back as its weight bore down on him. "Damn, these things smell foul... Even worse than the latrine on our ship," he joked, using his other arm to support himself as he pushed back against the creature. With a loud grunt of effort he managed to throw the creature to the side, a chunk of flesh going with it between its maw. Still no blood though, and when Ricken raised his arm it became apparent as to why that was; no muscle or bone showed on his limb, but rather a metal skeleton beneath what must be a fleshy substitute. Looking at his torn arm he smiled, raising his other hand and charging up Ki to blast the beast. Before he could fire off the shot however he looked down at the ground rumbling beneath his feet, hastily jumping away as another creature, this one without plated skin, sprung up from beneath trying to snap at his legs. Getting a safe distance away he scowled annoyed, glaring over at the Frost demon accusingly. "What did you do?! Why are these here?!"
Yumi couldn't well see whoever was down at the site, nor could she place the energy she had felt. Just who was it, and why did Viral seem a bit agitated? Looking over at the Beastman curiously she blinked at the name of "Frieza", frowning as she rubbed at her head. "Yeah... It kind of rings a bell, now that you mention it..." she mumbled, trying her darnedest to recall where she had heard that name. It had been mentioned here and there a few times she was sure, though it was so vague to her now she may as well not know it at all. The description that Viral provided did little to alleviate any concerns, especially when he said the power could rival that of a Super Saiyan. Sure, this one might look young, but really what good were looks? Everyone figured she was weak, or Shu for that matter, and yet both of them were perfectly capable warriors. "Do you think he's an enemy? If he's young though maybe he's just lost... We should probably help him then, don't you think?" Ah... There was Viral again commenting on his condition, even when the conversation hardly called for it. Even with her constant reminder that things were going to start improving he was still down on himself, clearly things wouldn't look up until they actually were improving. "I know that... Sorry. Think we should go help them?"

"What...? Oh come on, that was hardly fair!" Takeshi retorted, becoming red in the face as he looked away stubbornly, "He wasn't holding back and we were, we didn't want to hurt him. I don't see how that's a fair fight then, do you? I'd hardly say it is." He wasn't saying that Viral was weak, in fact he firmly believed the Beastman was anything but. Suggesting however he was weaker than their friend wasn't sitting well, he still liked to think he was the better fighter of the two. Turning back to Shu when he mentioned a bad feeling the older boy frowned, not exactly picking up on what he was saying. Other than that energy spike moments ago he wasn't picking up anything, maybe it was just the little guy's anxiety of being in the ship. "You're imagining things, there's nothing bad out there. I mean it's Namek, who's going to attack us? The Namekians? Or this guy they're talking to down there?" Not for nothing but Takeshi was hardly afraid of the Namekians, and their group was more than capable of handling themselves. Likewise with whoever was in that ship, it was one against eight, now way could they even hope of winning.

"What in the hell are you talking about? We have no quota you moron," Ricken snapped, clearly becoming annoyed with the alien. "And what do you mean your kind, huh? We're not with the Saiyans if that's what you're thinking, we're rebels. So quit being so fricken paranoid we're going to attack you and just talk, it's not hard." If they were going to take the kid out or attack why bother wasting time chatting with him? For someone with a big head he really had no brains, if he stopped to think for a second he'd see that. Becoming quite impatient with the whole matter Ricken stepped past Vegeta to try and get at the alien, grunting as his vest was grabbed and he was pulled back, being thrown back behind the Saiyan and glaring at his counterpart. "Hey, I'm just bringing him up to the ship, what are you doing?!"

"Trying to prevent a fight, that's what. Now sit down, shut up or I'll send you back on a stretcher," Vegeta warned, glaring back at Ricken before looking to the alien again. Okay, clearly they were not the best pair for this job, their approach was so 'good cop bad cop' the boy likely had no idea what to believe. Impatient himself he ran a hand through his hair, exhaling deeply before crossing his arms and looking past the alien at the ship. "Let's look at the facts, alright? Your ship is out of commission unless it's repaired, and you're far too injured to fight, however you may want to put up a front. If we were your enemy and wished you harm why would we make ourselves known? We could have easily dealt with you without warning and have been done with it. You don't have the power to take our ship and we don't have the desire to do anything ill to you, so let's all take a step back and discuss this calmly, hm?" Closing his own eyes Vegeta inhaled through his nose, slowly exhaling then through his mouth before looking at the Frost demon again. He was young, that much he could tell, and his brashness was probably in part due to that. No doubt there was pride as well, and obviously some wariness due to his unwillingness to accept their aid. "You think you won't leave if you tell us? Look... I have no desire to be doing this right now, but I was asked to help here so I am. If you've a problem tell me now and we'll resolve it, no questions asked. Stop wasting our time please and come out with it."
Yumi wasn't too sure where she should be in all of this, not wholly used to just sitting by either. She could certainly see the logic in sending only a pair out to investigate, especially if someone down there might be hurt. Having a big group suddenly show up and start asking questions might be intimidating, hopefully this way they kept that from becoming a problem. Besides, her being here meant there was someone to watch Viral, and help him though she hoped that wouldn't come to pass. Like Viral no doubt could she overheard everything the brothers were discussing, thinking it both sweet and amusing they were showing concern for the Beastman's well being. If they felt like that they should come out right and say so, even if she seriously doubted Takeshi ever would. Hiding a smile behind a hand she glanced at Viral, curious as to why he was staring out the window. Hearing the words come out of his mouth then she lowered her hand, frowning as she walked over to the door and peered out as well, "Really...? How can you tell...?" she asked, furrowing her brow as she tried to peer off into the distance. Visually she didn't have to see whatever it was, the abrupt spike in energy was enough to tip her off. It wasn't that large, the spike, but it told her whoever crashed was a Ki user. Immediately she considered the chance of finding an injured Saiyan here, and what that might mean for their fate. No doubt they were going to be hostile, but given their condition the right thing seemed to be helping, even if they were the enemy. "Can you tell who or what they are from here? I can't..."

"It would be nice, yeah. He and I still never settled our first fight either, I want to finish that already," Takeshi agreed, nodding as he rubbed at his neck. Glancing at Shu when he called Viral the strongest of their group he sniffed indignantly, crossing his arms as he leaned closer to his brother and smiled tightly. "Uh... You mean he's the second strongest in our group. Even when he's healthy I bet I could beat him." They had only very briefly fought before, but even back then he had done alright against the guy. Maybe he wasn't exactly fighting at his full capacity back then, but neither had Takeshi for that matter. Obviously if they were to fight it would be more of a spar than an actual battle too, yet he was certain both of them would inevitably get carried away and things would escalate. Probably not a bad idea to have someone come along then, maybe Yumi, and keep them from blowing one another's blocks off. As for the question about Namekians... Nope, he didn't have a clue! Takeshi couldn't even pretend he knew anything, the only thing he remotely had to go off being his brief interactions with Dende. Even as simple as he could be sometimes he wasn't foolish enough to figure every Namekian was like Dende.

Vegeta knew pairing up with Ricken was going to be tough, and sure enough he just had to go and aggravate the alien. Fortunately for them they didn't seem to be hostile, though their presence was most certainly putting him on edge. It was a him... Right? A little difficult to tell, and admittedly he was hardly all that familiar with the biology of Frieza's race. Giving Ricken a glare as he mouthed off he made an attempt to cool the situation, trying to convey that there was no harm meant here. Obviously should this person show any signs of aggression or try harming someone action would be taken, but for now it was a matter of simple chat. Oh lovely... And now because of Ricken's brash statements the alien was becoming defensive, even going as far to threaten them. Vegeta did not have the patience for this right now, he was supposed to be getting the Dragonballs together and wishing his parents back. "You're right, you've got no reason to listen to us, but you're going to. We're busy and we haven't the patience to argue with you though, so please don't be difficult." Oh great, now he was demanding their ship. In his current state it was a bold move by the alien, one that Vegeta didn't quite appreciate. Letting out a soft sigh he began walking forward, frowning as he looked at the boy unamused. "If you think you can beat me then fine, have our ship. Or you can relax, since we're not here to fight or hurt you. Just calm down and explain yourself, that's all I'm asking."
Vegeta couldn't stand here and argue with Viral, much as he might like to. The more time they wasted debating what was being done the longer this investigation would take, and ergo the longer it would take to get to making their wish. It made perfect sense to him, his urgency to get this over with directly reflecting his desire to get to their own task, but evidently the Beastman didn't see it that way. It was a shame, but he'd have to bear having being upset with for the time being. "You'll be able to fight soon enough, just be patient. We're nearly there." he reiterated, shaking his head before jumping out of the shuttle. Right, the wreckage wasn't going to inspect itself, they needed to move in and check it out, make sure Namek wasn't in any immediate danger. After trying to get a feel for energy and failing Vegeta opted to head right in, taking the lead as he and Ricken flew out over the open land to the crash site, promptly stopping up over the zone. Even from their vantage point he saw no signs of anything down below, but it was better to be safe about this as opposed to rush headlong into potential danger. Calling out for anyone in the area to show themselves he placed his hands on his hips, frowning as he looked around for any signs of movement.

Being stuck in the shuttle while Vegeta and Ricken got to have all the fun really sucked, no one wanted to sit here. Even Viral who was hardly up to the task right now didn't want to be sitting, why would anyone else? What Vegeta had said made sense, it didn't really require all of them to go check on one ship and for that reason alone people had stayed put, though Takeshi didn't like it any more. "Yeah, they'll both be pretty happy after this won't they?" the older boy asked rhetorically, smiling at Shu as he gave a nod, "It'll be nice I guess, seeing them in better moods. It's been a long time coming, you know?" Heh, could Viral hear what he and Shu were discussing? They were trying to be quiet and all but he probably had pretty good hearing, chances were he knew all about it. Eh, ah well, at this moment Takeshi didn't much care if the guy heard his sentiments. At this particular instance with a promise of a solution so close everyone was in a pretty good mood, agitation of being made to sit still aside. "Uh... I don't know Shu, I really don't. I've never exactly been here before, ya know, so this is new to me too." He'd never even seen images of their dragon for that matter, or even the planet now that he considered it. Save for Dende he hadn't even seen a Namekian before either, everything about this leg of their journey was as new to Takeshi as it was to Shu then.

For such an obvious crash site there were no obvious signs of any sort of pilot to be found. Vegeta's immediate assessment after a moment of waiting was whoever was inside was dead, meaning he and Ricken should collect the body and attempt to identify it. Not the most pleasant of tasks, but it was what he had agreed to and he would keep his end up on the deal. Seeing nothing to signify someone might be inside he let out a sigh, slowly descending towards the ship and landing some ways away from it. The machine was certainly a wreck, which was a shame because it looked like a nice if not simplistic machine. With pieces of the vessel scattered here and there one could feasibly collect them and repair the vessel, but he wasn't here to repair a ship, he had to finish this up and get back to Viral. "Alright then... You keep an eye out Ricken, I'll take a look inside," Vegeta ordered, hardly caring if his companion was going to throw a fit over being told what to do. Starting to approach the ship there was a sudden burst of energy, one which seemed to emanate directly from the ship before them. Freezing promptly in his tracks Vegeta's brow furrowed in confusion, watching as a figure then burst forth and landed in front of the ship, as if to protect the wreckage. More than the sudden burst of energy, the appearance of the individual threw him off for a moment, not having expected anything like that. Through recollections and old files he recognized not who this person was, but rather what they were. Immediately he became wary of the stranger, even more so as they assumed a battle stance. They were injured, he noticed, but that didn't mean they should be taken lightly.

"Are you honestly going to fight us...? In your condition?" Ricken asked, smirking as he broke the silence. Folding his arms he walked up to join Vegeta, looking over the injured alien before letting out a laugh. "Like he said, we're not here to fight. You're trespassing on this planet though and we're trying to find out why that is. If you really want us to take you down by all means, we will. But do yourself a favor, lower your hands and get over yourself."

There really was no tact when it came to Ricken, was there? He was trying to diffuse the situation but in perhaps the worst way possible, antagonizing the Frost Demon. Glancing at his companion in disbelief Vegeta groaned, smacking his own forehead before looking over at the stranger again. "Ignore him, he's an idiot. We don't mean you any harm so long as you're here on peaceful terms. As Ricken explained though you're not supposed to be on this world, yet I can tell by your condition this wasn't exactly planned. Talk to me, what happened? How did you end up like this?"
