"We do have a single leader, sort of. There's our Commander, Korian and I guess he's in charge of all of our forces. But then there's Sayomi who's in charge of communications and basically all of the intel. There's Leto who is the one training our troops, then Ricken and I are the go-to pair for those three. I suppose if there was one overall leader I'd say it's Korian, but he's said himself he's got no desire to rule after the King, so we're hardly worried about it. I doubt anyone here would support trading one king for another anyways, he'd never get the chance." While planet trading would hardly come to a close with just Yamate taken care of it would be a sizable portion of it, and once the Saiyans hopefully were against it as a whole people would be far less willing to try such a thing, lest they have the Saiyans knocking at their door. It was intimidation in its simplest form, and while Sasha wasn't overly fond of it she could certainly appreciate what having the empire on their side could mean. As Korian had argued before there were plenty of people who followed the King out of fear, and if he was gone more likely than not they would swear allegiances to another just like that. But never mind the future, Sasha was more concerned with the here and now; Why had Kiton been running, and what from? There were a lot of unclear details here, and for their helping him she figured it only fair he share. Hearing his story she frowned at the conclusion, looking in the direction of fighting as she felt a series of energy spikes. How was the battle going, she wondered. Part of her was compelled to rush in and help, but she had been asked to mind Kiton and she would. "What if you joined the rebellion...?" Sasha asked, smiling as she looked at the Frost Demon, "We've let more questionable people into our ranks before and they worked out, I don't see why you wouldn't also."

This idea of throwing Viral into the fray was ridiculous, but Haku felt more compelled to do as he was told than argue against it. If anything were to happen to Viral now it would be on him and the others would really have it in for him, so he would have to do his best to prevent anything from happening. Everyone else was going into it in earnest, smacking away at the monster to keep it too busy to defend itself. If that's what was going on then he'd have to join in, even if he didn't want to. Once certain Viral was steady and safe Haku dove down, going a bit lower than the others as he deliberated over what to do. Everyone seemed to be blasting it, yet it wasn't doing very much for any of them. Nor did he have a blade to slash away with, so he'd have to try something else. Getting an idea he hastily gathered up what Ki he could, his level of energy not being nearly what everyone else had. He didn't need much though, not for his idea. Once he had gathered enough power, his body glowing with a light hue, Haku dashed around and began releasing power as he went; by releasing the energy as he moved it simulated the afterimage technique, though his spin on it was a little different. Making a full rotation around the creature he finally came to a standstill, five of him now circling the lower extremities of the monster. Each of them began gathering more energy in their hands, and once they had a decent amount they reeled back, throwing the energy forward in a way that made it spiral slightly in midair. All at once the five blasts hit, the rotation causing quite a lot of friction as it burned away the hide before exploding, leaving five decently sized burns around its body.

Everyone was a bit wary about Viral going into the fight, but he was quickly proving he could hold his own. Doing what T'charrl had moments before but even better the Beastman had gone and blinded the monster further, also managing to cause some real damage by stabbing it in the skull. Takeshi couldn't help but watch on excitedly, thrilled that the guy was actually in a fight again and kicking some butt. "Damn I wish I had my sword! That looks cool!" he said, grinning as he rubbed his hands together. The monster let out another roar and once again began to writhe about, its arms trying to reach up and grab hold of Viral on its head. Vegeta and Yumi were both quick to stop it though, each taking one hand and smashing into it, knocking the hands away before blasting the palms for good measure, drawing blood on each. Getting really excited over all of this Takeshi had to do something, glancing back at Shu before racing up at the monster. He was hoping to blast it square in the face, maybe do some serious damage point blank and take out an eye or two. For some weird reason though as they were moving in it turned on them, snarling before its mouth opened and energy quickly began to accumulate. Coming to an abrupt halt he paled realizing it'd be really hard to avoid this, instead gathering as much Ki as he could in as short a time they had. "Shu! Fire, fire!" he shouted, letting loose his own blast as the monster fired off as well. The two energies collided in mid air, audibly crashing together as they hit one another and came to a standstill. Grunting from the exertion Takeshi continued trying to pour energy out, angry that he noticed he was beginning to loose ground.

"Oh some people have definitely profited, don't get me wrong. There's some of our people who profited off of what the King was doing, but once our people were freed they were imprisoned and lost whatever they got from the Saiyans. It only takes a single person to let the King in, but it takes a whole army to get him out. The way we see it is that these people were fine before Yamate went in and took over, and only he is befitting from their being conscripted, so it just makes sense to free them. They can rule themselves, they don't need some foreign king telling them what to do." If the freed people wanted to instill a ruler after the fact fine, how they governed themselves wasn't really the concern of the rebellion. Ideally every world would have a fair and just ruler, but the reality of the situation would probably be anything but. Much as Sasha would like to see every peoples get to enjoy their lives she knew ultimately some would suffer, that was just how the world worked. Putting on the last of the bandages Sasha took a step back, examining her handy work to make sure Kiton was properly covered up, smiling satisfied to herself. Now that the injuries were seen to perhaps they could get an explanation now, she did want to know what the situation was. No doubt their superiors would too, and she would need something to tell them when they got back. "If you were just picking up supplies though why would someone chase you? Unless you did something to them?" she questioned, folding her arms as she scrutinized the Frost Demon, "You stole... So you mean to tell me you near killed yourself fleeing over a few supplies? Was it worth it?"

Ricken was awfully sore after being smacked, but far from out of the fight. Annoying he'd been hit too, his arm had only just stopped bleeding and now it was acting up again. Grunting as he pulled himself out from the rubble he glared over at the monster, only being able to watch as T'charrl successfully managed to take out one of its eyes, one of six anyways. They still had a ways to go if they were going to totally blind this thing but at least they had gotten a start. Unable to wholly pull himself out of the rocks he channeled a bit of Ki, releasing it all around him and vaporizing the immediate area, flying out as it crumbled behind him. Things weren't going too terribly for them yet he was sure it would still be a pain to take this monster down, it always was. Flying back out he only gave a passing glance at T'charrl as he was sent flying, seeing no reason to help as the alien managed to stop himself in mid-air. Gathering up energy again Ricken winced as he put strain on his arm, pretty sure it was dislocated or at the very least bruised from the impact. The monster had still been staring at T'charrl when it noticed him nearby, but before it could lash out he shot his attack, grinning as it raised an arm to block the energy again. Rather than have it explode on impact however he reached out and made a squeezing motion with his hand, the orb compressing before bursting, creating a blinding flash that caught the monster off-guard and managed to make it drop its guard, howling as it writhed about on the spot.

This was a pretty unusual fight for Haku, it almost felt like things were progressing in stages. First all of the little monsters, then the big monster was using all of the tendrils and now this, usually wild creatures like this were just swing and bite until either you died or they did. If more of these things were living on Namek he really wanted nothing to do with the planet, fighting another after this would really suck. He took a little solace in the fact he'd successfully kept Viral from being harmed, albeit that was going to be pretty quickly worth nothing with the request the man had in mind. Having only just set them down Haku looked over at his partner curiously as he spoke, curiosity changing to alarm and uncertainty at his idea. "W-Wait... You want me to do what...?" he asked, frowning as he looked at the behemoth again. Was that really such a good idea? It was pretty mad at being blinded, getting that close to it could be really problematic. They did get an opening though, courtesy of Ricken in the form of temporarily blinding it with a bright light. Seeing it as the only chance, and not wanting Viral to get angry with him, Haku begrudgingly grabbed hold of the Beastman and flew towards the monster with him, climbing steadily to come up to head level with it. Once they were high enough he reeled back, swinging his body and throwing Viral up at its head in the process, smiling nervously when the man landed. Hopefully he knew what he was doing, because Haku sure as hell didn't.

Nor did Vegeta, who had been preoccupied in trying to keep the monster from tearing T'charrl in two to see Viral at first. When he did finally catch sight of the Beastman as he flew by in his peripherals. Staring dumbfounded at Viral perched on top of the monster he shot a quick glare Haku's way, furious they were doing anything even remotely that dangerous. They were close to getting the Beastman cured, sure, but that didn't mean now was okay to throw all caution to the wind, betting on his getting better regardless. Groaning audibly he flew up to the monster, seeing the only course of action being to keep it from attacking his friend. Gathering Ki in both hands he threw each at various spots on the creature, annoying it further and dodging an incoming swipe at his person. "Keep it away from Viral! Just do what you can!" he shouted, diving in further and going for the arm itself. Aiming for the shoulder of the beast he flew just up over it, flipping over and coming back down with a hard kick with the back of his leg, striking it hard enough to make it stumble some. Swinging his body around 180 degrees Vegeta landed another kick, the force making the creature sway to the other side as he struck it.

"So just go nuts then huh? We can do that!" Takeshi said, grinning as he glanced back at Shu, "Buddy, I want you to just start blasting it, got me? I'll move you shoot, just keep shooting. Viral's doing something and we've gotta get his back here!" It'd be some fun target practice for the little guy too, so long as he didn't send himself flying off with one of his own attacks. Wrapping both his arms around Shu's legs just for good measure the older boy flew back in, tauntingly making a raspberry sound at the monster and laughing as one of its arms swung quite far off from them, being knocked off balance courtesy of Vegeta. On the other side of them Yumi was going to work too, constantly smashing into the creature's back and making it teeter unevenly with her and Vegeta's strikes combined. Hopefully Viral could steady himself up there, but as long as they kept this up it shouldn't hit him.
Surviving in space or not, all of these injuries weren't going to be pleasant regardless of where Kiton found himself. Sasha was fair convinced too had they not come along then the Frost Demon would be dead right now, so for that much he should be grateful. With the gel covering a fair portion of his injuries things ought to start healing up fairly soon, at least the exterior injuries. While the gel could even heal torn muscles and ligaments at the surface it was a mere shadow of the stuff in the tank, meaning if there were any serious internal problems it wouldn't do much good. "It is ambitious, and when my brother Ricken and I joined we even thought it was stupid. But you know what?" she asked, smiling as she began wrapping bandages around Kiton's midsection, "We've seen it work, and we know the plan can work out now. Once the rebels are taken off of a world we leave rebels there to help rebuild, and worlds have been helping each other out once freed; supplies, manpower, resources, it's kind of amazing how everyone's coming together after the Saiyans. Every time we've freed a world so far it's just gotten back to what it was doing before, no chaos. Maybe we've been lucky, but I'm hoping it keeps going that way." There was always concern that freed planets might have a hard time, and while idealistically they would like to help everyone their numbers were nowhere near vast enough for such a feat; either other planets offered to help their freed brethren or the rebels were made to try and do so, with as minimal help as they were able to offer. "No, they only seem like they want to eat you," Sasha retorted, smiling slightly as she applied bandages to Kiton's injured leg as well, "Weird that they would chase you though. Where were you that they ended up on your ship?"

Takeshi hadn't a clue how they were going to fight this thing, his usual plan of "just blow it up" probably not working here. By the looks of it they would have to be a bit more tactical, a department he was usually sorely lacking in. One benefit of fighting in a group though was he didn't necessarily have to come up with the plan, there were others to do that for him. Hearing what T'charrl had in mind he smiled eagerly, giving a nod of agreement as he looked back up at the monster. "Good idea T'charrl, let's poke its eyes out!" Just some well placed blasts ought to do it, they didn't really have anything on them otherwise to hit the creature with. Before any of them could get to action Ricken went ahead and dove in, doing what Takeshi could only guess to be was trying to distract the thing. It worked for a good moment as the monster was focused on the rebel, but in an instant his plan went south quick. Watching amazed as Ricken was thrown away and smacked like a fly his mouth hung open slightly, astonished he'd been so quickly knocked away like that. There wasn't a ton of time to go check on him though, as T'charrl took that as all the incentive he needed to go in himself. Watching their friend warily he smiled seeing a blade make its way into the beast's eye, a loud howl telling them it more than worked. Hoping to take advantage of the moment, taking up Ki in his hand and firing a blast right down at the opposite eye; with the monster flailing about again he missed though, the blast smashing into the ground just behind it and creating a small crater as a result. "Crap! T'charrl, get back!"

This really wasn't quite what Haku expected out of this fight, but at least he was being of use. Narrowly escaping becoming a pancake by the skin of their teeth he landed a decent distance from the fight, easing Viral back onto his feet as they came down from the air. He looked awfully shaken from that, though everyone was probably suffering a bit of disorientation from having their eardrums assaulted. "Jeez... This thing is freaking unbelievable..." he mumbled, raising his hands and rubbing at his ears gingerly. When the monster roared from being stabbed he immediately covered them again, easing up when he realized it wasn't one of those shrieks again. Well that was a relief, though at this point even a whisper would probably hurt. One look over at the behemoth and he could see what had been done to it, the blood dripping from its face a dead giveaway. Blinding it huh? Not something he would have thought of, but then that's why he wasn't the one making the plans here. Smiling uneasily Haku turned back to Viral, not sure if they should be trying to get in on this or not. "Er... I can fly you in... If you want. We're going for the eyes now," he explained, trying to fill in Viral quickly.
"We found you by tracking your ship, to a point at least. We were coming here to Namek anyways too so I guess it's just convenient you happened to be here as well." Sasha explained, smiling slightly as she applied more of the gel, "And you hardly have to know someone to get along. Like I said, we're not the enemy here, we've got enough of those to go making more too. As long as you don't do wrong by us you're fine." If they were the Saiyans then the Frost Demon would be dead already, probably killed simply because he was an inconvenience. That in of itself ought to be testament enough the rebels were of a different breed, that they weren't going to turn on someone when they were down and hurt. The topic of the Saiyans was never something she loved to get into, but this time around she felt it necessary to make their own stance perfectly clear. "Yeah, they did, and we're trying to beat them. The one who took it over, Yamate, is the King of Saiyans and he's a really awful man. We've been trying to get him out of power for months now," Sasha said as she began wrapping the alien's arm in a bandage. "Kiton huh? That's an interesting name, and like I said, we're rebels. We're the ones trying to keep the Planet Trade from going on under the Saiyans, we're trying to get rid of it altogether I guess. It's a bit idealistic I know but we've been making progress." Once Kiton's arm was wrapped in bandages she moved about treating his chest and shoulders, finding little injuries all over. "My name is Sasha, by the way. You're lucky we found you when we did, things looked pretty bad down there."

Takeshi really hated the notion of asking Ricken for anything, but he'd love to know the energy-blade technique he was using. It could be something wholly his own though, and if that was the case chances were the guy wouldn't share a single tidbit of information on it. They would have to just make due with their regular Ki attacks and his... Sword. "Well I woulda brought it with us if I thought we were killing this thing," the older boy remarked, frowning as he let out a sigh, "Woulda been real good practice too, damn." Casual banter had to come to a halt as the creature began screaming again, the sound making it feel like something was being drilled into Takeshi's ears. Covering them uselessly he cringed, clasping his hands over his ears tight as he could as he watched the monster begin to change itself. At least the few dozen tendrils weren't a problem anymore, but now those big trunks of arms were swinging, and apparently quite hard as Vegeta struggled to fend off an attack. Getting ready to charge an energy blast Takeshi's eyes widened seeing energy gathering in the monster's mouth, reflexively moving away to keep him and Shu well out of the blast range. It wasn't aimed at them but Ricken, and thankfully the rebel was quick enough to get out of the way, and good thing too; a sizable rock was blown to absolute bits from the blast, being hit by one of those would really suck.

This wasn't right, the creatures had never been this sentient before. What was it about this one that was so different? Much as Vegeta tried to apply logic to this he simply couldn't, there had never been an encounter like this before. To make matters worse the creature was changing its attack pattern, just when they had been falling into a rhythm of dealing with the tendrils too. Hearing Viral shouting for him he waited to hear what had to be said, gasping when the creature shrieked and cut off the Beastman. Once the screaming had stopped he looked down to his friend, paling seeing Viral knocked out from the shout. To make matters even worse the monster appeared to acknowledge this and was taking a swipe at their fallen friend, getting dangerously close to cleaving him in two. Were it not for the timely intervention of Haku grabbing Viral and moving away he'd probably have been killed then and there. The situation had just become quite dire, they had no idea how to attack this creature and yet the need to slay it was even greater than before. "Yumi... With all due respect that is a terrible plan," Vegeta interjected, frowning as he stared up at the creature. There had to be a better plan of attack, a way to weaken it. Fortunately T'charrl was the voice of reason then, suggesting they blind the beast with their attacks. It could backfire, it could attack erratically if blinded and that would be dangerous as well, but with no other recourse it was their best bet. "We'll try that! Everyone, avoid its talons and go for the eyes, we'll take away its vision!"

"So we're blinding it? Sounds easy enough!" Yumi said halfheartedly, smiling as she gathered Ki between her hands again, forming a decent sized ball before flying up into the air. With the energy fizzling away she hefted the orb above her head and tossed it down, aiming straight for the creature's face in an attempt to get to its eyes. Disappointingly however it appeared savvy to their idea, an arm rising up to take the blast and protect its face instead. Shoulder sinking some she looked at the monster in disbelief, absolutely confused as to how it could know what they were doing. Did it understand them? Watching as it turned on her and began to open its mouth Yumi gasped, flying up higher to try and keep well out of the monster's range, seeing the energy welling up within its maw. As it looked like it was about to fire the monster suddenly roared in pain, its head lifting up reflexively as the blast shot skyward and exploded well overhead; looking back down she could see Ricken at the monster's side, burying his arm in its flesh just behind the frills.

"You like that, you freak?!" Ricken snapped, pulling out his arm as he grinned and gathered Ki around his limb again, "Here! Have more!" Driving his arm back through the flesh he grunted from the resistance the hard skin gave, shouting as he pushed further and managed to pierce the outer skin. Then, fueling his energy he gave a shout and tore his arm down, creating a meter long gash on its neck before ultimately pulling his arm free. So they either needed really sharp edges for the hide or they had to burn away the protective layers before striking, that seemed to be the case. Smiling smugly Ricken let out a gasp as the monster began bucking, grabbing hold of its skin as he tried to keep from being thrown off. There wasn't much to grab onto, and after a moment the rebel was sent tumbling off, being smacked by the monster and sent crashing into a nearby cliff.
*pats head* It gun be okay Multi, it gun be kay.
Well now this seems like a lot of fun :o Never tried voice acting before, but I'd be all for giving it a go! (even if I make a fool of myself!) Would love to apply for the rhythm/back-up vocals slot :3
The Frost Demon was being terribly vague with all of this, eluding to some situation that he wasn't giving any detail on whatsoever. Were Sasha not trying to help him right now she'd probably be impatient and demand he be straightforward, but the questions could wait for a bit. Tossing away a scrap of the ruined armor she gave the Frost Demon a funny look, letting out a sigh as she shook her head and placed a hand on her hip. "Now why wouldn't we let you go? Sure, we'll want answers about what's going on, but after that we don't mind what you do. Stay if you want, or go off on your own, it doesn't bother us much." They weren't the police and they certainly weren't going to start turning into bounty hunters, chasing after questionable people. The way that the boy behaved Sasha was certain he was hiding something, and with a bit of questioning later she may be able to coax an answer out of him. Managing to cut all the way down the middle of the armor she grabbed both ends, parting it easily and sliding the now split armor off of the alien, placing it all in a pile. "So what if you're a Frost Demon? I have allies who are Saiyans, and everyone thinks they're the absolute worst in the galaxy. Just because some people are terrible doesn't mean everyone is," Sasha said, smiling as she set the scissors in the box and grabbed a vial of healing gel and some bandages. "Maybe you'll tell me this much," she continued, opening the vial and grabbing the alien's arm, beginning to apply some of the gel onto his wounds, "What's your name?"

So blasting this thing wasn't really going to work, at least not in of itself. Damn shame too, that was more or less Takeshi's go to mode of attack. If they couldn't blast away then they'd have to hit it head on, and somehow he doubted punching a monster this size was going to do all that much. They were making progress hacking away the limbs though, at this rate they might even manage to get them all. "Uh... Ki slices...? Like the sword?" he asked, looking back at Shu puzzled before frowning. Damn, he had no idea how Ricken was doing that, and he didn't have his sword on him either! He hadn't brought it since Vegeta had argued it could give the wrong message, but damn if he didn't wish he had it now. "Eh, we don't need that! What we were doing will work fine, just keep blowing its arms apart!" With Ki gathering in his palm Takeshi flew back down at the creature, reaching out and releasing a volley of blasts as he and Shu swept across the side and back of the monster. With his more erratic attack style he wasn't near as accurate, but a few limbs were struck and fell to the ground with a satisfying thud. Heh, this was actually getting to be sort of fun.

Haku wasn't quite sure how, but they were actually doing this. The monster was struggling to keep track of everything attacking it so all they had to deal with was the tendrils, and they were easy enough to kill off. Sure, everyone was on high alert and one single misstep could see you getting cut in two, but thus far things were going well for them. He had even managed to land a few good shots, claiming four or five disembodied limbs now to his name. Having Viral by his side was actually proving to be a bit of a reassurance too, what with the Beastman's impressive power; even in his poor condition Viral managed to tear a limb clean off, something none of them could probably do. Watching astonished as he hit the creature with its own severed limb he prepared another blast, freezing when the tendrils suddenly stopped flailing about and curled up against the body of the beast, then the frills of the monster closed around its head, leaving it sitting there like a gruesome flower waiting to bloom. Staring up at it baffled Haku nearly thought they had managed to win when the frills abruptly parted, another loud, piercing shriek echoing around the area as thick spews of slabber flew from the creatures mouth, its tendrils seeming to retract into its body. Then, alarmingly, the creature sank down some, now its head and main limbs all that was visible, as well as a slight portion of its body. Something seemed different too, it looked like it was trying to pick a target. "Oh crap..."

Vegeta's sentiments exactly, as a second later the monster took a big swing at him, its talons slicing through the air in his direction. Eyes widening in shock he extended his arms to try and catch the hit, doing so but being pushed back quite a lot in the process. Grunting with effort he used his Ki to slow his movement, grunting as he finally made the creature come to a standstill again. Then, from above he could feel the rush of air, instinctively diving away as the other claw came down on top of where he was, slamming into the ground and kicking up a cloud of dust. Looking up at the monster warily he frowned, wondering what in the world caused it to change the way it was fighting. Had it learned that quickly not to attack as it was? "Be on your guard everyone, something's changed!" To no doubt everyone' shock the monster turned its head towards Ricken, its eyes flashing before it opened its maw, a quick, wide ray of dark energy spewing out in a blast at him. Thankfully the rebel managed to dodge it, and the attack hit a small cliff some dozen meters away, smashing into it and blowing it to pieces as chunks of stone rained down around the area. So it could use energy now? And it hit very hard, things had just become much more dangerous.

"Seriously... What the hell are we even fighting...?" Yumi mumbled, shaking her head in disbelief at their situation. They had never seen something like this before, not in all of their travels together as a group. Was it something native to Namek? She doubted it, no way this thing could be native anywhere, it had to be another one of those strange creatures. Now with it suddenly taking on a whole new way of battle too she almost dared to think it might be intelligent, at least enough to figure out a better way to fight them. Something this strong, this large, this quick to think, she really wasn't thrilled with the prospect of fighting anymore. In just two attacks it had come perilously close to taking down both Vegeta and Ricken too, what else was it going to do? "Well... It's less for us to have to kill now, so that's good," Yumi said, smiling nervously as she poised for battle, "I guess we'll go the simple route and hit it until it stops moving? Sound like a plan everyone?"
"Complicated? Kid you don't know complicated, trust me. Go ahead, tell me what's so difficult and maybe I can help." She might as well try and be social with the Frost Demon, even if personally Sasha didn't have much reason to. Tending to his wounds would be far easier if he were relaxed, and that would come in time with some chatting hopefully. Getting the alien onto one of the cots she grabbed the medical kit off the wall, laying it out across the cot beside his. "You're talking like you're trapped here, why is that? I mean... Other than your ship being in tatters," she said, smiling slightly as she gave a nod to his request. Grabbing a pair of scissors Sasha carefully grabbed hold of the armor, slicing through it and beginning to move down his torso as she worked on separating it all. Bloodied and bruised, yet as far as she could tell nothing was broken, at least not terribly so. "You're lucky to be alive, after a crash like that. I've seen tons of ships go down like yours must have and the results have never been pretty, so you're a rare exception," Sasha explained, taking away a large piece of the armor and tossing it aside for now. "What were you running from, exactly? People don't do what you did unless they're trying to escape."

T'charrl could probably use some support, but now was hardly the time for pep talks. Hopefully their friend could find it in himself to fight, he would have to do so for the time being. Though Takeshi and Shu both offered little words of encouragement he was a bit skeptical it had done much good, they would just have go in as they were and hope for the best. Taking to the sky Takeshi began looking for the best point of attack, settling on one of the closer limbs and letting loose a one handed blast, easily tearing through the flesh. To his surprise the creature actually bled when struck, unlike all the others before who just turned to mist when killed. "Yeah... I mean I don't know... I don't know what it means..." Takeshi replied, frowning as he watched the limb continue to writhe before finally settling and hanging limply at the monster's side. So it could bleed, and the limb almost looked like it died whenever they severed one... Huh. Shaking his head the older boy looked back at their target, sizing it up as he stared up at its massive head. With a small smirk he then grabbed a firm hold of Shu, flying up over the creature and beginning to gather Ki rapidly in his one free hand, "Let's blow the thing to pieces buddy! One big attack!" No sooner had he said that did Yumi beat him to the punch, sending a Kamehameha into the creature's side. Watching the attack excitedly he felt his breath catch when there was next to no damage, stunned that an attack like that hardly did anything.

"Good, just keep your head on straight and we'll be fine." That was the last bit of advice Ricken would bother with, he wanted to get down to business and see this creature dead. Taking off into the air he formed a blade of energy around his arm, using it as a makeshift sword as he severed one of the limbs effortlessly. Easy as it may be to take off one arm there were yet dozens more, and each was fitted with those dangerous scythes that could no doubt cause some serious problems if hit by one. Scowling in annoyance Ricken channeled more Ki to his arm, the blade glowing brighter as it took on a dull humming sound. Then, picking out a set of arms he made a slashing motion, a visible wave of energy flying off from the weapon and slicing off four limbs in a clean swoop. Evidently taking off more than one was this things trigger, as pretty quickly it targeted him with a few more to try and overwhelm him. T'charrl had finally remembered himself and took care of one, yet two more remained. Releasing the Ki on his arm Ricken extended both arms forward, gathering more energy and letting loose a two handed blast that engulf and evaporated each tendril, leaving naught but smoldering stubs in their wake.

Vegeta couldn't believe Viral was getting involved, this was utterly absurd. They were so close to curing him, why would he risk becoming involved like this? It was infuriating but there was nothing that could be done for now, everyone was far too engrossed in the battle. Cursing loudly he turned his focus back onto the beast, using the after-image technique to avoid an incoming scythe and putting himself closer to the monster, close enough to reach out and touch it. He now hovered in the spot where Yumi had blasted, and the smell of burnt flesh was nauseating at this distance. Figuring he had an idea however Vegeta stayed, pulling back a fist and letting it loose in the epicenter of the attack, his hand managing to pierce the skin and drive itself beyond the surface. Immediately gagging at the noxious odors coming out he yanked his arm free, moving away and looking at the thick purple ooze that now covered his hand. "It looks like its got a strong hide, we need to weaken it with blasts before striking!" he shouted, shaking his hand clean with a frown. That was helpful, but they still didn't know where the kill point was, or if this thing even had one. The heart, an internal organ, the brain, anything that could provide a swift end to this. Vegeta considered striking at the head but then the talons became an issue, and if that beast shrieked again it was almost paralyzing, so someone could be caught out and end up dead for it. Damn it all, there had to be a way to do this.
Sasha didn't need to be reminded of the importance of keeping the shuttle operational, as losing it could well mean losing their way off of Namek. That aside she now had a wounded to tend to, something she luckily knew all about. Giving the monstrous behemoth one last look she pulled hard on the controls, sending the shuttle turning around as she moved it out behind a large rocky spire some few hundred meters away. Not quite willing to land just yet she threw on the auto-pilot, letting it float as it were in the air as she undid her harness. There really was no way of knowing if this person were friend or foe, but she supposed it was only right to help them. "Nothing's wrong with this crew, we just like to fight," Sasha responded, smiling amused as she exited the cab, "I could ask what's wrong with you, refusing help when you're on the brink of passing out. Speaking of which, lie down," she added, pointing to one of the cots. It would be easiest to handle things if the alien could relax, and standing there grasping at his ribs was most certainly not relaxed. Stepping past the Frost Demon she grabbed a first aid kit from a container on the wall, setting it down on a different cot and taking out its contents. Bandages, vials of healing solution, splints, chemicals to help soothe burns, there were a few goodies in here and she'd hopefully only need one or two. "I'll get you bandaged up nice and quick, but you're not to go back to that fight, understood? We can handle it."

"You got it buddy, just blast away, that's all you've gotta do," Takeshi repeated, smiling as he used one arm to hold onto his brother. Glancing back at T'charrl again he saw how unsettled their friend looked, frowning as he turned his attention to the monster. "T'charrl, just be safe. We're fighting together even if we're not side by side, you know? And we'll be nearby to help if you need it," he explained, smiling as he gave another thumbs up, "So relax, this'll work out just fine." Hopefully Ricken wasn't too much a pain in the ass, though much as he disliked the rebel it was obvious that the guy knew how to fight. Also... They knew who that artificial arm belong to now! Weird he carried around a spare, they must get wrecked pretty often then. With Shu secure on his back Takeshi took off into the air, going to the far right as Vegeta and Yumi were busy on the left. Watching as one of the several limbs came swinging at them he reached out his free hand, firing off a quick Ki blast and easily striking it, blowing it apart and watching as the limb flew off, slamming into the ground. Astonishingly he didn't see the purple mist from before, but rather a purple liquid which he could only assume to be blood seeped out, spilling onto the ground below. "Holy crap, this one bleeds!"

He would get matched with the one person to get cold feet, wouldn't he? Now more than before everyone had to be ready for battle and yet T'charrl sounded like he was about to hurl or something, wonderful. Watching on silently as Takeshi attempted a pep talk Ricken let out a sigh, glancing at his injured arm and tearing away the remnants of the ruined sleeve. "Look... I may come across as an ass, but I would never let anything happen to a comrade in battle," he explained, frowning as he looked at the Kaesstrian, "Even if they were a Saiyan. So relax, I'd sooner take one of those limbs through the chest then let it get you." Tch, unbelievable that he had to try and reassure his partner, though it wasn't unheard of even for trained warriors. People got cold feet now and again, everyone had some kind of trigger or a certain scenario they never wanted to face and perhaps this was T'charrl's. "Just do what you were doing before, let's focus on slicing off those limbs. Stay close, we might need to back each other up." Taking off then Ricken moved right in for the lower extremities, dashing around as several limbs went swinging at him. Using his metallic arm he channeled Ki into it, creating a slight aura of energy that took the form of a blade. Dodging an incoming scythe he grabbed hold of the offending arm, giving it a yank before slicing it clean off just below his hand, dropping the writhing limb on the ground and frowning seeing the blood coming out. Since when did these creatures bleed? It was one of those things from before, wasn't it?

"E-Enthusiasm...? Look at that thing! How are we supposed to fight that?" If he went into a fight thinking he had the advantage then Haku was all over it, he'd more than happily dive right in. Going into this though, with the preconceived notion he was inferior and didn't stand a chance, well he wasn't quite feeling it. Lowering his gaze shamefully he wanted to try and help, he did, but his feet felt like they were plastered to the ground. Besides, what could he hope to do that the others couldn't? He didn't offer much in the way of power, nor did he really have any outstanding, unique powers like T'charrl. Alarmed when Viral took off abruptly he lifted his head, eyes widening as he reached out uselessly at his partner. "Viral, wait!" Haku shouted, looking around fitfully before letting out a groan, "Agh... Dammit! Wait up!" Jumping off of the rise he ran after the Beastman, staring up at the monster all the while. Honestly, what were either of them going to do? Seeing motion blur in the corner of his eye he turned his head and gasped seeing a limb swooping down at them, the scythe poised to strike Viral and probably cleave him in two. Stopping in his tracks Haku placed the heels of his hands together, fingers outstretched as he gathered Ki and released a single, continuous blast. At first it didn't look like it would even cut through, but after a second his energy appeared on the other side, severing the limb as the tip flew well over the Beastman's head and crashed into a nearby rock.

This was absurd, this damned creature shouldn't even be here. How had something this massive go undetected for so long, especially with this sense that it carried with it? Furthermore why was it bleeding, none of the other creatures bled before. Vegeta couldn't deliberate for long, he was far too focused on scrutinizing every detail of their foe, trying to find a weak point to exploit. So far all they were doing was slicing off some of the small limbs, but really there were so many it would take quite a while to get them all; once all the small limbs were gone there was the matter of the larger, main arms and the beast in of itself. Seeing everyone getting busy his eyes widened in shock when he spotted Viral and Haku below, extremely concerned the Beastman was getting involved. "Viral! What do you think you're-" he began, being cut off as an arm slammed into his back and knocked him away. Catching himself in mid air Vegeta turned around, paling as one of the scythes came straight at him, throwing his hands up and narrowly catching the blade between them. Struggling to hold the limb at bay he tilted his head to the side, and with a shout of force managed to snap off the blade, using the creature's own weapon against it as he hurled it into its soft body. "You can't be here Viral, get back!"

"Vegeta, focus on the fight! He'll be fine!" Yumi shouted, dashing up as she avoided a set of swinging limbs. She was worried as could be too, but knowing Viral nothing they could say now would deter him. Haku was there, and worst case scenario she or Vegeta could race to his aid as well, as could the others. Like her friend she was becoming a bit weary of just taking off the smaller limbs, seeing no point in bothering with them. The only plus side to it she figured was that the creature couldn't well attack any one person without being hit by another, meaning the larger, more imposing talons and its gaping maw were too confused to strike so far. Maybe she could try and attack it at its core, see if she could put an end to the fight quicker. Placing her hands at her side Yumi moved back out of the creature's range, gathering up Ki at a steady pace between her enclosed hands. "Ka-me... Ha-me... Ha!" Releasing all of the Ki in a single blast she had to brace a little from it, directing the energy into the beast's side in hopes of causing some real damage. For a moment it looked to be working, the creature roared and writhed about as her blast slammed into it, yet after a moment she stopped and saw it hadn't done nearly as much as she'd have hoped. A bit of a burn to be sure, and blood was oozing out, but it was scarcely the gaping wound she was intending to create.
Takeshi near burst out laughing when Shu shouted 'blew it to hell', never having heard the little guy cuss before. Well it was hardly a cuss to be fair, but damn if it wasn't unusual for him. Grinning amused he patted both his brother and T'charrl on the shoulder, feeling pretty euphoric over that brief fight. "Who knows and who cares, they're gone now! We made that look easy, I'm almost disappointed," he said, chuckling as he glanced up towards the shuttle. Now they could figure out just who that guy was and get to finding the Dragonballs too, which Viral must be happy about. Of course the Beastman wasn't showing very much in the way of delight, sitting there looking as grumpy as ever, but surely he was realizing this too. Turning and giving their friend a thumbs up Takeshi immediately cringed when the roar shook the area, turning around and looking in the direction of the wreckage; the arm sprouting up from the ground was indication enough things just got bad, and seeing the rest of the creature follow suit made his stomach sink some. That was one big freaking monster, and admittedly it was a bit intimidating. Smiling nervously Takeshi took a slight step back, a bead of sweat dripping down his face as he chuckled uneasily. "Well shit... Ready for round two guys?"

Things really had just gone from bad to worse in a matter of seconds and now they were having to fight some giant monster; where in the world had this thing come from anyways? Yumi sincerely doubted it was just a creature of Namek, it seemed way too unnatural for that. Gods only know where it had come from, or what it was for that matter. Staring at the creature in shock she glanced over at the Frost Demon, frowning as she shook her head, "Doesn't matter now, we'll kill it. Stay here, don't get involved," she said firmly, getting him into the shuttle and promptly shutting the door. Having that nasty shriek rip through her ears made her cringe painfully, biting back a yelp as it was quite overwhelming for her enhanced senses. Once it had stopped she looked down at the group below, quickly going down to join all of them in the fight. From down here the monster was even more impressive, no way was this going to be an easy fight. Setting down besides Vegeta she smiled uncertainly, lifting her fists to get ready for a fight, "So... What's the plan genius?"

"So what... You think this is a set up? Do you really think those monsters are smart enough...?" Haku asked, sounding earnestly perplexed that such a thing could be possible. The way they just threw themselves at everyone it was more like they were frenzied, definitely not something you'd expect from an intelligent creature. Though he wanted to doubt the notion it was a trap hearing that roar was sign enough that Viral was in fact right, and things were about to get much, much worse. Staring in horror as the serpent climbed its way out of the ground Haku stumbled back, gasping as it shrieked and hastily covering his ears, squeezing his eyes shut in fright. No way, what the hell was it and where in the hell had it come from? Once the shrieking had stopped he looked back at the creature, feeling something catch in his throat as he then turned to Viral. "W-What...? Oh... Right... You were right..." Haku stammered, eying the giant creature warily. "We've got to fight that thing... Don't we...? Jeez, it's massive..."

The sheer size of this beast was daunting enough, yet Vegeta couldn't also help but feel this sense of dread washing over them. Whatever this creature was, he noted, it was pure evil and hatred. He'd been around plenty of wild animals before, even Viral when he'd gone rampant, but nothing had ever quite instilled this sense of dread that this behemoth was. "Plan...? Why I think it would be obvious, we kill it," he replied, frowning as he shook his head, "However, the way we go about that is a little lost on me." He would figure that it was a simple matter of wearing it down, split up their forces and make the creature contend with several different onslaughts at once. Even with all of those extra limbs it shouldn't be able to coordinate well enough to stop all of them. "Right... Everyone listen up! Break into teams of two, we'll take this thing on from all different sides. Obviously we have to kill it, just be careful and wear it down." He would guess there was no holding back on this thing, so with tensing himself up he channeled his Ki, his power spiking up quite quickly as the air around him heated up and burst out. Yumi followed suit in the same manner, and the two of them took off, diving in after the creature.

"Pair up? Please... I don't need a partner..." Ricken grumbled, frowning as he watched Vegeta and Yumi take the lead. Damn it all, he wanted to say that but he knew the truth of it, going into this alone was going to be suicide. Looking over at the Princes and their friend he vanished from where he stood, reappearing beside T'charrl while looking up at him sternly. "You, me, we're taking this thing on. Just watch my back, that's all I'll need, got it?"

Well they really were going to fight it, fun. It wouldn't be the first time they fought something big though, he and Shu had killed that giant fish thing back on Uuonoe before so this was kind of the same deal. Glancing over at his brother Takeshi offered a smile, looking up when Ricken appeared abruptly and tried conscripting T'charrl to his team. He hated the idea of their friend working with this jerk, but he was going to be with Shu so that was the only option really. "Hey, get off your high horse and work with him, got it? He's probably just as strong as you are if not stronger, so don't tell him what to do," Takeshi snapped, returning Ricken's glower as he frowned. Shaking his head disdainfully he reached out and grabbed Shu's arm, smiling slightly as he gestured to his back. "Just like before buddy, you get on and blast, we'll do what we can like that, got it?"
