Katsu was trying really hard to be civil here, but Siku wasn't making it easy for him. He would hardly go into a fit of rage or anything when provoked, but while trying to put on a front to trick Asha he couldn't be saying anything off color. So long as he behaved the right way and said the right things the Air bender ought to have no reason to suspect anything of him, and already he could see he was having an effect on her. "Hey, I am clean and proper. The only bit of dirt on me is when I ran into Hiresh," the thief pointed out, smirking as he glanced across the table at the officer, "Sorry for that, by the way. I know neither of us have apologized for the accident but I figured I'd take the first step." Heh, and paint himself in a better light by seeming the bigger man while he was at it.

Their server had been awfully prompt in retrieving their order, much to Katsu's delight. While he might not care terribly much for luxuries there was always time for food, and it made little difference to him whether it was five-star dining or a little sandwich shop on the corner, food was food. Of course the food here was less liable to make you sick, and you knew where the meats came from, but he couldn't see himself coming here often. The whole place just stunk of snobby people, like everyone here had something to prove. Another reason he rather disliked the rich, even with all they had they still felt a need to act like they needed more, or deserved more. A little humility wouldn't kill them, though then again considering how hard it was for some to get it perhaps it would.

Just as swiftly as their server had seen to them did their food arrive, and loathe as he was to admit it the food looked very good. Probably cost a small fortune for every bite, but then when you weren't paying for it caring was well beyond the thief. Taste wise... Eh, honestly it was alright. Katsu had eaten better food before and at less reputable places, here it just seemed like you were in part paying for the name and all of the fancy surroundings. Nonetheless he cleaned his plate, having to very closely mind his otherwise voracious eating behaviors in front of Asha. Normally he'd go to his food like a wild animal to its first meal in a month, it was just how he learned to eat. When you sometimes had to run from wherever you were you learned to do things quick, and inhaling half a pound of food in about a minute just so happened to be one of those things. Thankfully though he managed to draw it out, still finishing before anyone else but doing so in an orderly fashion. By the time everyone had finished he sat lazily in his chair, a smile on his face and hands folded over his now full stomach.

"Wow... Thanks for that Siku, it was great!" Katsu said, grinning as he looked across at the Water Bender. He'd not expected to be treated to a meal, in fact he was still a bit confused as to why he had been brought along at all. It would have been just as easy for Siku to send him off and explain things to Asha, he was certain that's what she would have done. So why take him along? Inevitably the Fire Bender's mind only settled on one possibility, squirming slightly in his seat as he hid a knowing smile behind his hand, coughing to mask it. She's totally into me... She just can't admit it! he thought smugly, glancing over at Hiresh. Tough luck for him, the officer probably had a thing for Siku. She was pretty, sure enough, and the fact that she had a bit of money didn't hurt either. Were it only the three of them here he might well flirt with Siku just for kicks, see how far he could take it in a public place before she snapped or attacked him for it. But he wasn't looking to cause a scene, and besides, there was Asha to see to.

Belching quietly into his arm the Fire Bender turned to his side, smiling sweetly as he reached over and placed a hand on Asha's. "So... You're an Air Bender, that's really interesting. I've never met an Air Bender before, certainly not one as pretty as you are," he said, giving her hand a pat before folding both of his own on top of the table. "Tell me a bit about yourself, hm? I hear the Air Temple is supposed to be a really nice place. Lots of discipline, but really nice. Are you from there, or did you move there?" He couldn't quite care much really, but if it helped earn this girl's favor then hey, he'd ask about her dang pet Platypus dog or whatever she might have. Giving Asha a moment to gather her thoughts Katsu glanced back over at his gracious host, winking mischievously as he did so. In a way he was saying 'Go ahead, do something, make a scene.'
"No, he's not totally a cyborg, most of him is still real," Sasha retorted, narrowing her eyes as he placed her hands on her hips, "And even if he was why are you saying that like it's a negative thing? I don't see anything wrong with it, do you?" This was her brother they were talking about, and considering that she'd in essence just saved Kiton's life, though perhaps an exaggeration, she still didn't expect something to rude to be said. Were she of any less good will she might just toss him out of the shuttle right then and there, but figuring the comment really did no harm Sasha held back any rebuttals and only rolled her eyes in exasperation. There was no time to comment about any sort of contract, the sudden, large blast of energy that shook the area more than took precedence. Perhaps in a slightly poor move Sasha quickly took to the controls of the shuttle, directing it towards the epicenter of the attack and where her brother and friends would all be fighting. She knew it was a crazy move, and Kiton took no time in voicing the very thing she was thinking. "No one said you are fighting, so sit down and relax," she snapped, glancing back before smiling tightly, "And I'm not crazy, I'm just not going to sit back while my friends and family could be dying. Worst case scenario you take the shuttle and go away from here, I'll help them fight." The Frost Demon could and may well try to get away with their craft, but the joke would be on him when he learned it was pre-set to return to their ship after leaving orbit. Assuming he would have no clue how to change those settings he'd end up back on the Prince's stolen craft, their other friends waiting and likely not being at all too happy.

Ricken was nearing his wits end, and of course losing a limb didn't help either, even if it was prosthetic. His Ki was too low to use many more attacks and if he exerted himself too heavily he could well pass out, and that would be the end of him. Suffice to say he was probably through fighting here, much as he loathed to admit it. So having T'charrl come over after deciding this and asking him what they were going to do, well, he wasn't thrilled. "At this point...? I don't know. Maybe I could loge myself in its throat and hope it chokes," he replied, smiling bitterly as he shook his head, "Pathetic, I was beaten by some damned plant, or whatever the hell this thing is. The only thing we really can do is leave it to you and Viral, you're the only ones who can still fight." They could try to help, but realistically he knew most of them would only get in the way at this point and inhibit those who actually could battle. What a humiliating way to end the fight, still perfectly alive yet just too tired to go on. Damn monster, he was certain too they would kill it in some mundane way as well, then everyone would look all the more foolish for being beaten. As far as Ricken was concerned at this point, whether the beast died or not, his mission to come here and see the planet secure was a failure, he'd been unable to accomplish it himself. Having the others do so wasn't good, albeit he supposed it was better he wasn't relying on Saiyans.

"Yeah... You're probably right, best you stayed put," Takeshi remarked, smiling slightly as he got himself up off of Shu, taking a seat on the side. Heh, why did he even bother trying to protect the little guy so much? A year ago he wouldn't have cared, six months ago he'd let Shu get hit, it'd build character, so why the hell did he do that now? He knew he cared about his brother but to this extent, it was weird. Much as he was questioning it though he didn't regret it, even with the pain all over and his head throbbing dully, he wouldn't have done it any different. Glancing over at Shu curiously as he gathered Ki the older boy blinked confused, eyes widening as he was fired at, quickly lifting his arms to shield himself. Half expecting to be struck by his brother's blasts he was surprised when he remained unharmed, lowering his guard and looking around confused. A lot of the debris around them had been cleared and the two now sat in a moderate opening, so at least they had room to maneuver. "Wow... You didn't blow either of us up," Takeshi said teasingly, giving the younger boy a thumbs up, "Let's see about doing that to the monster, yeah?" Shifting around to get on his knees he tried to stand up, gasping as pain shot through his leg from putting pressure on it and promptly taking a knee again. With a scowl he glanced back at the offending stone, near going to yank it out but stopping himself. "Damn it... Shu? Think you can fly us out of here? I can't really move too well right now."

Yumi wasn't too sure how they were going to salvage the fight at this point, but they had to; Viral's cure was just on the horizon and losing the fight likely meant losing any chances of that, as well as Namek itself. If not for their own purposes they had to win here just to keep the Namekians safe, they owed that much for bringing this trouble along. It didn't help them much that Vegeta appeared quite shaken, something she rarely if ever saw happen. Normally calm and collected the fact that he was apologizing and self-loathing meant he felt he'd failed, that much she knew. Until he got his wits back about him he'd be borderline useless, meaning the only people who they could really rely on were Viral and T'charrl now, and perhaps even Shu. "Viral... Your wiring had nothing to do with that," Yumi interjected, smiling wearily as she shook her head, "You wanted to protect your friends, that's all. Nothing fancy about that, it's just what people do for one another. You made your own choice to help, this 'wiring' of yours had nothing to do with it." Viral had just exercised a bit of free will, something she didn't think he ever even acknowledged. It was always about some kind of wiring, or predisposition, but why couldn't he just choose to do something? Glancing over at Haku as he stumbled over she bit her lip uncertainly at his proposal, not loving the idea of anyone getting close to the monster right now. Glancing at it she could tell it was having to take a quick breather from that attack, but who knows what it might do next. "Viral...? You're the one fighting, it's your choice. We'll do what we can from here."
"Ricken's sickness was weird, it affected certain organs and parts of his body. I don't really know much about it, at least the technical stuff, but from what I was told its a degenerative sickness. He had been infected with something at a young age, I remember he was always really pale and in bed a lot, and nothing we could do really helped him. At best we could kind of hold off it becoming worse, but we had no cure for it. He wouldn't really be cured until we were brought in by the rebels, and it was really the Uuonians that saved his life," Sasha explained, smiling as she shrugged her shoulders a little, "You see... A lot of his body was weak because of the sickness, and muscles were failing, as were some organs. To fix it they had to do a lot of surgery, somehow get donor organs and remove anything that was inflicted by the ailment. We got the organs, but he ended up losing an arm, his right leg from the knee down and a portion of his abdomen had to be cut away. I don't know how they did it but he has all of these bio-engineered limbs and little bits now, they work like the real thing but they're mechanical. So he's technically cured now since the parts of him that were wrong are gone, but he's kind of half-artificial now." Sasha may have continued on had a sudden, massive blast not startled her and Kiton alike, gripping the controls of the shuttle as it shook, rubble falling over it and banging off the vessel loudly. Once the rocking had ceased she looked out the window haplessly, wondering what in the world had happened as she couldn't see past all of the dust and debris. "Later, we need to go help!" Sasha retorted, sending the ship forward as it rose over the remains of the cliff, flying back towards the fray.

Ugh... What in the hell was that attack?! No way should anything be able to amass so much energy so quickly, it was unnatural. Then again everything about this damned creature was unnatural, from the way it looked to the way it changed and fought. It had to be killed here and now, if they failed then all of Namek could be wiped out, and who knows what might happen from there. Easier said than done however, they were struggling before now and everyone looked to be injured at this point, not to mention tired. Ricken himself was once again stuck inside of a bit of rubble, his figure slamming into the rock and creating an indent on impact, leaving him fair stuck. Not only was he unable to really move but he noted his false arm was now gone, glancing over and confirming that seeing it was only now there up to the elbow joint. With gashes on his back and shoulders as well as his head too his whole body stung, and the ringing in his ears was taking a while to fade. Groaning as he tried to pull himself free of the rubble he managed to get his arm out, reaching back and slamming his fist into it, breaking away the rock and slowly flying out, panting heavily as he drooped slightly. He'd never thought it would be so difficult to secure Namek, not that any of them could have expected such a monster to be here. Glowering as the beast undid its supports and let out a roar he began gathering Ki in his hand again, frowning as it puttered out and vanished in his palm. Damn, he only just had enough energy to keep himself airborne, meaning his blade and attacks would be useless. Great, what use was he now?

Well so much for helping Viral now, they had their own problems to worry about. At the very least Takeshi had managed to spare Shu a good deal of harm, with no short amount of injuries being sustained in the process. With bits of sharp rock sticking out of his legs and back it was pretty hard not to reach back and pull them out, figuring it was better to deal with the pain then open all the wounds and bleed out. Smiling amused as his brother came to the older boy let out a faint laugh, shaking his head as he wiped some of the blood from his face onto his sleeve, "Nah... It was silly of you, not going to Viral..." he retorted, chuckling weakly, "Me...? I'm fine. It takes a hell of a lot more than this to kill me, you know?" It sure was close though, just one piece of jagged rock through his back and he could have been done for, and Shu wouldn't know what had happened until he found his dead brother on top of him. Shaking himself of that thought Takeshi let out a groan, turning over and sitting on his backside as he kept his legs at an angle, glancing down at himself and scoffing. "Bah... Stupid rocks did more to me than the monster..." he grumbled, finally venturing a glance in Viral and Vegeta's direction. Jeez, the Beastman really took a hit there, both literally and figuratively, the guy was definitely a monster in of itself now. Maybe not the nicest thing to be saying about a friend but how else could one describe Viral's appearance? Hopefully he didn't go nuts, if he did they were definitely done for.

Damn it... Viral was supposed to be getting better, so why had he changed? What had been wrong with the treatment he'd been administering? This was stupid, things were supposed to work, why weren't they working? Vegeta couldn't understand it, he'd followed his father's notes to the letter and even used other research to formulate the cure, and yet despite his efforts he wasn't able to help the Beastman it seemed. Smiling bitterly he stared up at the sky, letting out a long sigh before glancing back at his friend as he spoke. "Maybe he will... Maybe I deserve that, for failing you so many times," Vegeta replied, "I'm sorry Viral... This was supposed to cure you, and instead it looks like it got worse. I can't replace my father and I'm beginning to see that... It's just a bit late I'm afraid." It wasn't quite like him to be so sentimental and morbid, but with all of his efforts going up in smoke before his very eyes it was quite hard not to. Everyone was alive for now, but how long would that last? Another attack like that would likely kill them, and all of their effort to reach this point would be for nothing. "If we get back to Earth after all this, with father and mother, I'm giving up Capsule Corporation again. I was never really suited for the job anyways, and I'm thinking I've only done harm while being the one in charge."

"Wow... Listen to you, getting all mopey," Yumi teased, smiling as she trudged towards her friends, still dripping from having crawled out of the lake, "Since when are you such a baby? I thought men were supposed to be all tough and not get sentimental?" Things were looking bad though, that she'd admit. With a few exceptions everyone had taken quite a hit from that attack, and the monster didn't seem done even after expending so much energy. While she and Vegeta could likely still fight it wouldn't be easy, as no doubt both of them were nearing their point of exhaustion by now. Stopping at her friend's side she squatted down, gingerly grabbing hold of him as she slung his good arm around her shoulders and got him to his feet. Battling in their current condition would be quite bad, and as far as Yumi could see there was really only one option available to them. Even as twisted as he was now Viral was by far the most ready for battle, and T'charrl and Shu were the only ones she could see really who weren't beaten up from that blast. It would be the three of them then that would have to fight, while the rest supported where they could. "Viral... Please tell me you're not done fighting," Yumi began, smiling as she glanced over at the Beastman, "We need your help... No way can we kill this thing ourselves."

Haku was having a fair difficult time getting up, if only because his whole body felt terribly sore after that hit. After finally gathering his senses again he lifted up his head, looking around blearily as he tried to get a sense of where everyone else was. The closest people to him were Vegeta, Viral and Yumi, and apparently Viral had gone through quite a bit of changes in the last few moments. Wincing as he got himself to sit up he reached up to his head, cringing when he felt a damp spot through his hair, probably a concussion. Struggling to his feet Haku began to stumble over to the others, frowning as he overheard them trying to put Viral up to the fight. Earlier they wanted him to have nothing to do with it, now he was their last bet? Given everyone's condition he supposed it wasn't completely absurd, but still... They were going to risk that? "I can... I can still help, I'm not dead yet," he offered, smiling uneasily as he looked up at Viral, "I can fly you... If you want. Get you close enough to hit it."
It was really hard to say what the state of the universe was exactly, if only because Sasha didn't know. The portions of it she had been to were all under Saiyan control to varying degrees, and some were most certainly worse off than others. There had been aspects of the universe too though, like Uuonoe, that were peaceful for the most part, if only playing a passive role in the war. The entire goal of the rebellion she supposed was to make more worlds like that, and rather than impose some rule let everyone handle their own affairs. It could be risky, as Kiton pointed out, there was always the chance of something bad happening, but they would cross that bridge when they got to it. "Me and Ricken, the other one that looks like me, we're not really warriors. At least we weren't originally, that's only since we joined the rebellion. See... Our people were attacked by the Saiyans and we were in pretty lousy shape because of it. To make matters worse Ricken was always really sick, and when the Saiyans had attacked we lost pretty much all access to the medicine he needed. He'd probably have died if the rebels hadn't shown up, and thanks to them my brother was saved. So you can kind of understand why we're siding with them, and they really are good people." She might be a bit biased perhaps, but Sasha was every bit as loyal to the rebellion as Ricken was, and neither of them would ever doubt what they were doing. Their goal was the greater good, on that they both agreed, and they would do everything they could to help that along. A fair massive spike in energy brought her attention towards the battle again, frowning concerned as she finally went into the cockpit of the shuttle, "Of course not, our actual ship is in orbit. We took this down just to look for some Namekians to talk to, we didn't expect this." she explained, taking a seat once again at the controls, "Damn it... I wish this had weapons..."

"Of course the eyes are a problem, everything about it is a problem!" Vegeta quipped, frowning as he sent another hapless Ki blast at the monster's side, "Just... Give me a minute! I'll come up with something!" There had to be a plan of attack for them, something they could do to really deal some damage. Blasts didn't appear to work unless done repeatedly in a single spot, and without knowing its vital points at best they could only wound the beast. Attacking its head wouldn't work evidently, as shown by T'charrl's attempts. Not only did the monster shield itself when the Kaesstrian tried to stab it but now it was using the frills to avoid the energy blasts; not everything was hopeless however as things took an interesting turn. Expecting nothing to come of T'charrl's attacks Vegeta's brow furrowed as the monster let out a pained roar, glancing up curiously to see what it was. As the frills folded back and the monster flailed he caught sight of the flesh that had been hit, noting how it appeared to be smoldering and sizzling even after the impact. Their Ki had managed to create abrasions and faint burns, but T'charrl's looked to almost boil it. "T'charrl! I need you to hit that with as much energy as you can! Try and spread out the damage!" Vegeta said, glancing over then at Yumi and Ricken, "You two! Whatever spots he exposes I need you both to attack, try piercing its skin and drawing as much blood as possible. It won't be a vital hit but it can bleed out, and we'll make it if we have to. Viral-" Turning to look at the Beastman, Vegeta froze where he was, face paling considerably as he saw what was happening. No... No no no, why was he changing, why here? Why now? Ignoring his own plan for the moment he rushed down to his friend's side, landing a meter or so away and hurrying over, "Viral! Viral you have to relax!"

Takeshi didn't know what Vegeta was shouting about until he looked down, eyes widening seeing Viral's twisted form. Well crap, that was a fine time for him to go and change into a fricken monster. The one guy who'd managed to do some serious damage was probably out of the fight now, just when they had something like a plan finally coming together. Cussing beneath his breath the Saiyan looked back at the monster, watching it warily as it seemed to be looking between everyone for a target. "Shu... Think you can go help Viral out? I don't think things are going to be safe here, I'd rather you go with him somewhere else," Takeshi mumbled, glancing back with a slight smile, "We've almost got this figured out anyways, by the time you get somewhere to rest we'll be done." They did have a plan, right? What Vegeta had been saying sounded like a semblance of one, and given the guy's track record they ought to be okay. Moving to get Shu off of his back Takeshi froze when the monster let out another roar, glancing back confused as he didn't think anyone was hitting it, not after T'charrl's blasts anyways. It had covered itself up with its frills again and all six arms were dropped to the ground, it looked like it was righting itself for some reason. Out of the opening of the frills Takeshi noticed an odd glow coming out, frowning before letting out an audible curse when he saw a mass of energy gathered in the monster's mouth. But why was it aiming straight up? The creature then clamped its mouth down on the energy, a really confusing thing to do until it then reopened it, the energy coming out in a wide concussive blast that was really quickly spreading out. Eyes widening in shock Takeshi grabbed hold of Shu, turning his back to the blast and holding his brother firmly against himself to try and shield him.

Yumi was ready to get to putting Vegeta's plan into action when the monster covered itself up, wondering if maybe it was going to retreat from the fight. As it happened it was doing anything but, and not a single person could have expected what was to come. Watching in a mixture of awe and worry as its energy began to build she gasped when it was suddenly released, seeing no way whatsoever they could avoid being hit. With nowhere to run all she could do was raise her arms to shield her face and lift her legs, yelling as the concussive wave hit her first and sent her flying backwards, easily knocking her off guard. Slamming then into a rocky outcropping she was knocked clean through, the formation giving way as it was shattered and debris flew all over the place. Yumi finally came to a rest some good few dozen meters from where she had started, landing in the ground and skidding before finally stopping in the water, bouncing on the surface once before coming to float on top. She wasn't dead, far from it, but most certainly sore and now bleeding from the hits and debris. Letting out a groan she opened up her eyes, staring out bewildered as to where that attack had come from. It was so sudden and unexpected, how did it gather that much power? From here she could hardly see anything but the area looked quite barren from before, rocks still falling from the air as dust clouds began to settle. Was everyone okay? She was too dazed to pick up energy, hopefully everyone was alright.

Takeshi didn't know what in the world happened, only that it felt like he was hit by a truck and then subsequently run over by it. His ears rang as he finally settled, opening his eyes and looking around blearily from where they had landed. He didn't recognize this spot, and it was a bit difficult to see much of anything with blood dripping down over one of his eyes. Wincing as he then began to feel just how banged up he was the older boy glanced down at Shu, relieved to find that comparatively the little guy was unharmed. Heh, he wished he could say the same for himself. Aside from the gash on his forehead he could feel the back of his left leg bleeding, and a glance back showed him a bit of debris was imbedded in his calf. On top of that his arms were all scraped up and bloodied too from sliding across the ground, having miraculously kept Shu from hitting the dirt in all of that chaos. Chuckling wearily the older boy let go of his brother, using his arms to support himself as he managed a small smile. "Hey squirt... You okay...?" he asked, swaying slightly as he felt lightheaded, "Do... Do you need help?"

No one really had seen that coming, how could they? Everything about this beast made no sense, from its behavior to the way it chose its targets, it all seemed so random and sporadic. Perhaps there was no methodology to it, maybe Vegeta was so used to fighting more sentient opponents that he was making assumptions. Whatever the case might be things had just become infinitely worse for them, as a quick survey of the area pointed out. Aside from Viral who he'd managed to grab he could only see Haku, lying by himself in a small crater but stirring and looking pretty hurt as well. Were the others okay? Were they even alive after that? Groaning as he tried to sit up he noted a sharp pain on his arm, looking over and frowning seeing it was buried under rubble. He could feel it, which was good, but it sure hurt like hell. Channeling Ki in spite of the injury he managed to burst the rock, looking at his bloodied and no doubt broken limb with disdain before turning his head to glance at Viral. Good... He'd managed to get the Beastman mostly out of harm's way. In the wake of the attack he'd grabbed his friend and tried to fly away, hoping to spare him from being hit. The last thing he recalled before being hit by the blast was giving Viral a toss, figuring falling was preferable to being hit by such an attack. "Good... You're alive..." Vegeta said, coughing as he smiled weakly and laid back in the dirt, "Dad would kill me if you died here..."
Sorry, but the RP as it says above is "Full" right now 3: We're not accepting any other people just yet, not until we've got things moving at least.
"It's hard to see on some planets what the Saiyans are doing, not all of them are as torn up as others," Sasha explained, frowning as she shook her head, "Some worlds are lucky. They might have a few of their kind conscripted, or their world used as a sort of base, but otherwise they're left alone. Then there are other worlds, like Shaharia, which are completely cleaned out for their people and resources and used until they're almost barren. It's hard to think some people are better off than others when both their situations suck, but that's the truth of it." It was yet another reason that the rebellion had to do its job and free everyone, as those under the really oppressive rule couldn't hold out forever. She feared that for some it may already be too late, as after all this conflict had been going on for some time, longer than she and Ricken had been involved anyways. The incessant bursts of energy outside continued to distract Sasha, and more than once she looked to the control room and considered taking the ship over, getting involved in spite of being told otherwise. Ricken would probably be mad with her if she got mixed up in the fight, as would Vegeta, but it would do her mind a lot better if she could see how they were fairing. "That's fair enough, I can't blame you for being cautious," Sasha mused, glancing back at Kiton and smiling slightly, "You'll have time to think it over, I'm sure. Whether you want to be stuck with us or not it looks like we're your only way off of Namek, so you'll be traveling with us for a short whole anyways."

The monster was livid at this point, feeling more than pressed to the point of death and struggling to kill these strange beings attacking it. They were a threat, they had to be killed and devoured, that was the only way this could end. It was difficult to strike down any single one however, they were fast and small, hard to strike out of the air as they dodged easily. Not wholly deterred however it continued to fight, swinging at Vegeta and Yumi as they each pummeled its side, making the creature writhe about painfully in its spot. With a vicious snarl it finally lowered two of its arms, striking out simultaneously at each fighter and narrowly missing catching them with its talons. The creature tried again with two others, but found its efforts halted quickly as a blast smashed into its upper body, courtesy of Haku hovering just before it. With a loud roar it gathered energy in its maw and tried to fire back at him, yet again it was interrupted as Ricken intervened this time around by managing to get his blade on one of its arms, not quite severing it but certainly causing a deep wound. Hardly a lethal strike, but enough to be bothersome. In the midst of all of this going on T'charrl had tried to flank it, and while initially going unnoticed the monster did inevitably, and literally, catch wind of the Kaesstrian. Snarling at the incoming attack it quickly folded the frills on its neck down over its head, the blade hitting but not piercing as they likely just skimmed off and across the hard, leathery skin.

"This thing just won't die... How many times we gotta blast it?!" Takeshi asked, sounding quite frustrated as he scowled. Every single one of them had blasted this thing several times over, even stabbed it and beat it for good measure and it still wouldn't go down. What more could they do to it at this point? Even with his, Shu's and T'charrl's blasts all hitting the thing it was still standing, and had gone and changed into whatever the hell it was now. The only thing he could figure was everyone go in for one big attack, an with any luck all of that power would be enough to kill the thing once and for all. unfortunately his plan may not quite work, the fighting was beginning to wear everyone down, himself included. Trying to pull off any big attacks now could totally wear them out, and if it didn't work then they would be sitting ducks. Damn it, there had to be a plan. "Vegeta! Tell us you've got something cooking in that big head of yours!"

Of course he had a plan, in fact he had several plans. Whether any or not were viable was another matter entirely, he didn't have enough data on this creature yet to act. It changed forms so quickly there was no time to think, and now that they were finally fighting another form it was too aggressive to give him a moment's thought. Even with their whole group going at it the monster was managing to hold on, even getting some close hits on them in the process. Just one blow from those talons would do them in, or a single blast from its mouth, they needed to be completely careful even when attacking. "We can't keep fighting like this... I know that much. This thing seems to be more durable than we are," he responded, frowning as he wiped some sweat from his face, "We need to locate a weak point, exploit it and deal a decisive blow. Just striking it as we have been isn't getting us anywhere." But where was the weak spot? The eyes seemed obvious enough, but the creature was far more guarded after the first two were put out. So where then? Glancing down at Viral warily Vegeta frowned seeing the state he was in, beyond frustrated there was nothing to be done for him right now. The Beastman would have to hold out, and once this was over he'd immediately see to his friend. "Do what we've been doing, search for the weakest point on the monster! For now that's all we really can do," he added, smiling darkly as he shook his head, "Oh... And don't die."
Yeah no problem, thanks anyways ^^

Sasha wasn't so naive as to think everything would work out perfectly, but she could at least be optimistic. No one wanted to be subjected to the Saiyan rule, save for the few who stood to benefit off of it, so she figured once free people would jump at the chance to govern themselves. Sure, the transition may not always be the most smooth or even peaceful but surely having their own kind ruling was better than Yamate? "It could be a group of people too though, instead of just one King. I've been on worlds where they have groups leading, and people work together to lead their people. I guess that would be our ideal turnout but you can never know, yeah?" Given the nature of Saiyans she was concerned someone was going to vie for power right away, and while she was confident Korian wouldn't do such a thing she couldn't say the same for other men of his caliber; Elites were always egotistical and arrogant in her experience, a factor perhaps common amongst the entire race. Even so, some were more so than others and it was those few she figured would fight over the throne. Doubtful they could come to a peaceful agreement either there would certainly need to be some intervention, lest the Saiyans end up exactly where they had started. With Kiton all seen to, Sasha began to pack away the medical supplies, throwing the used bits into a waste bin before placing the kit back in its container. "No, we're not after your power. However strong you are doesn't concern us, we need people of all backgrounds and skills if we're to beat the King. And by questionable I mean exactly that. We've taken former enemies, we've taken mercenaries wanting to make a change, we've even welcomed a few criminals into our ranks. Korian isn't crazy about it, but as far as he's concerned if you want to take down the Saiyans then you're welcome to join us. So... Where do you stand on it?"

Takeshi immediately regretted his decision of going in for an attack, and for putting Shu in imminent danger. If it were just him maybe he could focus on deflecting this blast, or knocking it astray, but with his brother in tow he was more focused on just keeping the little guy safe. Putting out as much Ki as he could in such a short period he struggled to stave off the attack, finding himself being pushed slightly as he fought against the much more powerful blast coming their way. "Damn it... Damn it!" he grumbled, putting yet more energy into his own attack only to see little change. The blast was getting dangerously close to them, and yet thanks to some intervention from T'charrl they managed to hold it back, but only just. Even with the three of them firing it was getting nearer and nearer, this thing really wanted them dead. Deliberating momentarily on throwing Shu out of the way Takeshi gasped as the struggle suddenly went in their favor, thanks entirely to the attacks on Viral's part. He only learned of that after the fact of course, initially confused as the monster suddenly lifted its head away, the beam tearing across the ground before ultimately going skyward, exploding well overhead and yet still knocking rocks and small plants away from the concussive blast. Jeez, if that hit them they'd have been totally dead, such a stupid move on his part.

To add to the monster getting a nasty blow to its skull, Shu, Takeshi and T'charrl's energy all found its way to its target, slamming into the monsters chest and splitting to either side as it burned against its flesh; the energy itself forked off in two directions, tearing across the ground and finally blowing up on either side of the monster some half a kilometer away. When all was said and done the monster definitely looked worse for wear, blood leaking down over its face and a noticeable wound on its body, bleeding fair well too. Even with these injuries sustained however it still wasn't dead, letting out a furious roar as it fell forward slightly, catching itself with its talons. Four eyes all turned up to Viral at once, glaring at him as the monster shook its head and reached up, swatting at the Beastman like a gnat as it tried to rid itself of its attacker. Missing its attack the creature roared, the roar turning into a muffled gargle as Ricken had come in and slammed his knee into its throat, winding and promptly silencing the creature. Vegeta was quick to follow after as well, driving his shoulder and side into its mouth and knocking its head violently to the right, with Yumi finally coming from above, landing with both feet on the edge of its snout and breaking a few teeth in the process. At this point the monster was having trouble staying upright, swaying unsteadily as it tried to keep itself right with its talons.

There was slight chance the creature may be dying now, its movements sluggish and only the occasional growl escaping its lips. With eyes unfocused it looked around at the group before it, wanting desperately to kill them all but struggling to find the strength to do so. It wasn't quite through yet, it could try one last thing to kill these things or die trying in the process. For a moment the monster came to an absolute standstill, not even appearing to breath as it stared straight ahead at nothingness. Then, a slight hissing sound could be heard, and a crack in its hide appeared on the side of its head, then another on its body, and soon more were following until the entire skin seemed to be breaking away. With a slight glow and a sudden spike of energy the skin looked to split away, viscous material sticking to the skin as it dropped to the ground all around it, and the creatures arms followed suit. As everything dropped off of the beast yet another creature seemed to be inside, this one similar enough yet having a deep red skin, clearly scaled with sharp thorn-like protrusions sticking off of it in every which direction. In place of where its arms had been there were now more tendrils on its body as well, though these were far larger than before, three on each side with a set of five talons on the end of each. The frill on its head remained, though the head itself became more slender and serpent-like in appearance; six eyes adorned its face, yet the two that had been put out before remained as such, and there was definitely notable damage done to its new form, with its face a bit crushed and blood already leaking out of wounds.

Unbelievable, how many times did they have to fight this thing? This was three iterations of the same creature now and yet somehow it seemed rejuvenated almost in this latest form, where all of them were beginning to grow tired. They never had a battle of endurance like this, fights were usually quick and far simpler than contending with such a monster. Vegeta was at a loss, especially since he was concerned there would be something new to this beast. At first it had been passive, using tendrils to attack, then it became far bulkier and more aggressive with its plated skin. By all rights this iteration looked less intimidating, even with the six arms, yet he couldn't quite feel at ease. No doubt it would be more sporadic in this form, and in no short order he would have that suspicion confirmed. Looking up at the monster his eyes met its, and with a sudden lurching movement it let out a screech, reaching out and swiping at him with one of its talons. Dashing out of the reach Vegeta had to move yet again when he was targeted a second time, ducking underneath one of the sharp limbs. A third came his way but it was deflected courtesy of Haku of all people, blasting it and making the monster withdraw its arm. That was hardly all it had though as it targeted Haku and Yumi both next, taking swings at them as they were forced to move around incessantly to avoid. "We have to kill it, now! One last push, give it all you've got!"
