"Hey, this hunk of junk is going to be our ship from now on, so be nice to it." Vegeta was a little defensive of the craft already, taking a quick personal liking to it. As with all of his gadgets he was rather proud of them, and he intended to see to it that he knew this machine inside and out. To some degree then calling this ship junk was almost akin to calling Viral's cleaver a 'thing', albeit the Saiyan didn't get nearly as upset over it. Returning to his seat then he brought the controls online, a few screens showing up that would give him control over the ship's major systems. Since they were going down he pivoted the main thrusters to a vertical position, and with a small burst of energy the vessel began to slowly lower itself down towards the atmosphere. It was going to take a little while to descend if they wanted to keep it steady, which seeing as no one was sat down and restrained it was probably a good idea.

Takeshi couldn't understand T'charrl with the lack of a scouter, but watching him go to the window and gaze out it with a smile conveyed things perfectly. "Your first new world, must be exciting." he mused, walking over beside the Kaesstrian. His first trip to another world hadn't been near exciting, mostly because it had been forced and under his father's discretion. "None of us have any clue what we're going into, so we're literally flying blind. But hey, that's half the fun, figuring it out!" Grinning he folded his hands into his pockets, gazing down at the world they were slowly approaching. From up here it looked like a mass of gray and blue, so it was a little hard to tell just what the environment they were going into would be like. "We'll get the scouters before we land too, so we can talk. Er... And I'm kind of thinking that after this trip we can start trying to teach you our language. It'll be tricky but it would make things easier."

Yumi was a little eager to get landed, hoping to do a little fighting and perhaps give people a chance to cool off a little. Speaking of cooling off, Viral had seemed terribly angry over the sight of Korian, definitely not over what had happened yet. Excusing herself from Choi's side she walked over to the other Beastman, a gentle smile on her lips as she approached. "Viral? Are you going to be okay for this? Sure you feel healed up enough?" He certainly looked a little healthier, albeit still a touch pale. The intravenous nutrition while in the pod had to have done a little good, but it was doubtful it was enough to truly get him back on his feet. "And... I know you're mad at him, but please try not to fight with Korian? We've got to work together, especially when we're in danger here. So please, try not to attack him? As much as I'd like to slap him for what he did we can't afford to right now." Plus, the offer of having their ship modified and changed as not to stand out was too good to pass up. If they lost it by getting in a fight they'd be hard pressed to do it themselves.

Whereas entries before had caused the ship to ignite like a fireball, the casual descent this time had no such effect. Vegeta made liberal use of the thrusters to ease their vessel down, and in about five minutes they had touched down on the surface, passing through a cloudy atmosphere on their way down. Towards the bottom of the descent the ships' environmental sensors began to give off readings about the world around them. The temperature in the spot they were approaching was roughly 20 Celsius, a fair mild warmth. Humidity was low, and the wind occasionally gusted, but otherwise was almost non existent. In all it seemed a fair stagnant climate, pretty typical as their other ventures had been. Though this world was not exactly lush, nowhere near the point of Kaesstra or even Uuonoe. Grass littered the ground, but it was a curious greenish brown color, resembling dying Earth foliage. The occasional tree-like plant sprouted up out of the ground, but otherwise it was a hilly and expanse terrain. Vegeta had to be mindful to place the ship in a more clear area for easy access, settling for a moderately large valley that could house a few ships. With a gentle, slow push of the thrusters the ship finally touched down, a set of legs extending automatically to hold up the weight of the craft.

Vegeta eased back off the controls once they were settled down, smiling a bit proudly with himself. It was his first time piloting the vessel after all, and he had managed to land it with no difficulty. Given there had been some trial and error, they had ascended and descended a few times on their course but ultimately made it down okay. "This planet doesn't seem too bad, the weather is okay anyways." he commented, closing his screens to look out the wide windows before them. "Of course... I can't tell you anything aside from the weather. Gravity, air thickness, or anything else unusual isn't picked up by the ship, at least not that I can tell. So we'd best be careful going out there, we don't know what to expect."
Vegeta couldn't argue Sayomi's points, each was very good. The General was an utter nutcase, there was no way he could be reliably questioned without the information being questionable. As for the races of people anyone could be potentially dangerous given enough reason and potential. Kaesstrians had proven that enough, managing to nearly kill three of them in a single attack. Even with a large power gap they had managed to do quite a bit, there was something to be said for that. "Believe us though, we're not going to go into this, or any situation. Well, most of us won't be," he pointed out, referring of course to Takeshi's tendency to be cocky.

On board one of the smaller crafts Ricken sat behind the controls, or he had been up until this point. After hearing Leto flirting with Sasha for nearly ten minutes he finally had enough, and now his sister was keeping him restrained from the eccentric man. It was such a headache having this man with them, he had absolutely no inhibitions. Finally being reeled in Ricken gave Leto an angry glare, shrugging off his sister and scowling as he returned to his seat when the radio came to life. He was a little surprised with the order that came through, not having been filled in at all with what was going on. Hearing that they were to be leaving the ship was definitely a confusing order, just what was the reason? "Erm... Can do Sayomi, but why? What's going on?"

"We're helping the Princes, that's what's going on. And we're on a tight schedule, so sooner rather than later, please." The longer they lingered after all the more potential danger they were going to be in. Granted, if they were all together now and a Saiyan group did appear then it was a safe bet they'd all team up to drive the enemy back. Shy of the king himself Korian was fair confident that they could handle anyone thrown their way. "Your ship is going to be used to help repair and reinforce the Princes' ship, you'll be coming on board with me and my crew. After all, we're due to find a new ship to borrow anyways, and yours is the oldest. Just as well we replace it then." Tough break for those three and the few crew that were on the ship, but ultimately it helped them in the long run. Preparing to close the channel Korian perked up again hearing an angry sounding voice, looking back at the screen to see Viral. Certainly still mad, not that he could blame the Beastman.

"And I don't doubt you would have beaten me, Viral." Korian answered, shaking his head. "I underestimated you and thought you could be easily beaten, I'm not too proud to admit it. I bit off more than I can take and nearly paid for it. That fight had been a very poor choice on my part." Given, if it had been a real battle, not inhibited by potential collateral damage, it was a mystery as to who would ultimately win. Not wanting to mull over that and potentially become vindictive however Korian let it slide, focusing his gaze on Viral for the time being. "I do not expect you to forgive what I have done, and I welcome whatever anger you direct towards me, it's deserved. However, I hope we can put it aside long enough to work through this, we can't afford to fight between ourselves in hostile space." That hardly buried the hatchet, but they couldn't do much else, not yet. It was going to take a lot of work if he and Viral were ever going to be able to comfortably say they were on the same sides. "If you want to go ahead and land we'll meet you all on the planet, we've just got to get everyone organized first."

Vegeta nodded his head, watching as the screen went black as communications were closed. Well that had gone a little better than expected, though there was still a bit of collective skepticism as to Korian's incentives. The Saiyan was certainly easier to deal with than the others they'd encountered, but he very much did have his own agenda. Something was bound to rise out of this, something that was going to come up that Korian wanted, he just wasn't too sure what it was just yet. "Alright, I guess we're landing then. Is everyone ready? I don't imagine we need to be strapped in for this, so I can do it now if you're all good."

"Hey, the sooner the better. I want to see what these monsters are all about," Takeshi replied, smiling as he smacked a fist into his open hand.

"I'm good to go. Though.... Maybe not so excited to fight those things. Punching them hurts!"

Had to.
"Right... Well I apologize for jumping the gun like that. We've just had some poor experiences as a group with Saiyans and their 'studies', so we tend not to be particularly keen on that." It was probably a good thing right now that T'charrl couldn't understand what was being said. Vegeta couldn't imagine hearing himself being talked about would be the ,most pleasant of things, and only just beginning to become part of their group it wasn't exactly a welcoming discussion. "And the reason he doesn't quite fit the profile is he's undergone some... Changes. Obviously. That's a story for another time though. As I said, we'll give you a man to look into if you want, so long as you don't mind examining a psychotic sociopath."

Takeshi decided to reel the conversation back in on topic, not super comfortable with talking about anyone being examined, however passively. It just seemed creepy. "So you're going to do all that work on our ship AND help us with this creature problem of ours?" he asked, looking at Korian's image skeptically. Normally he wasn't the cynical type, but man did this seem fishy. Korian had to want something out of doing all that, and sure enough they were bound to hear what it was before this was done. Shaking his head distrustfully he folded his arms over his chest, tapping one of his feet expectantly. "There's more to it you're not telling us, we're not that naive you know. Come on Korian, what do you want from us? I sincerely doubt you just want to help us for the sake of helping us."

"I do though, in part at least. This war is still not in our favor, and if you're going to be reckless and fly around in that ship you're bound to get captured. At that point there's scarcely any chance we'll be able to win, we can't beat all of you," Korian admitted, smiling sadly. "I've experienced first hand what some of you are capable of when forced to fight, and I know full well that we'd be hard pressed to beat just one of you. So call it a worthwhile investment on our part. So long as you stay safe and out of the king's grasp we're able to continue on without too much resistance." Goodness knows what would happen if they had to battle both Princes, or even Viral in his transformed state. That wasn't even counting any of their friends, all of which he was sure were decent enough fighters at least. It would be more or less ensuring their own success down the road by helping the children now.

Now that sounded a little more sound, Vegeta mused. Help themselves by hurting the other side inadvertently, a good way of going about things. "Just where do you propose on getting all of that scrap metal though? It's going to take a lot of resources, not to mention time, to modify a ship this big. Plus you'll likely have to remove the ship's mainframe and do a wipe, since it'll shop up on Saiyan radar as one of their own. Then there's the small matter of it looking exactly like one of their boats... And our cannons being fried." A huge undertaking to say the least. It would take much more than just Vegeta to do that work, so maybe he could make use of the engineers they had with them. "How do you propose we go about doing all of that? Did you just happen to bring a barge full of material with you?"

"If I had that kind of foresight then we would have won this war already. I'm afraid we don't have scrap metal to spare, but we can spare a ship. And besides, I don't imagine we'll need all that much, do you? So long as the craft's structural integrity is okay it only needs minimal work done, with the most being repainting it." In all not that daunting of a task, not when there were roughly a hundred rebels, himself and Sayomi included, ready to work. "I would think its best we land on that planet to get to work, it'll be rather difficult to do anything floating around up here. Sayomi? Can you get in touch with Leto and his ship? Ricken and Sasha on their ship? We'll need to get everyone onboard another one, theirs is on its last leg anyways, might as well make some good use of it."
"Erm... With all due respect I can't let you do that Sayomi. T'charrl is a friend of ours, and I sincerely doubt he'd appreciate you doing it either." So she knew about Kaesstrians, that was a curious revelation. Vegeta didn't quite have the same level of fascination as the woman did about the aliens, even if they were certainly different. Being more of a tech enthusiast he couldn't be terribly be bothered with physiology of aliens. Getting an idea though Vegeta smiled knowingly at Sayomi, having the perfect answer. "If you ever get a chance to go to Kaesstra there's one man on that planet you can research though. He'll probably be in prison when you get there, but I've got the feeling that no one is going to be upset with your prodding at him." No one on that planet was bound to miss the General, after all his supporters had more or less been whittled down and everyone left was probably against him. If someone wanted to do tests on him it was unlikely anyone would raise alarm.

Takeshi listened to the conversation silently, wondering just what Sayomi was on about. Studying T'charrl sounded really weird, and he wasn't a specimen to be prodded at. Vegeta agreed, and no doubt the others did too, their friend wasn't going to be examined anytime soon. Sharing his opinion of the rebel leader he was a little bit dismayed that Korian was present, not exactly looking forward to seeing the guy. "Hey... Can we just avoid getting him involved? We can keep this just between us, can't we?" Apparently not, Sayomi went right ahead and called the commander to get in touch and relay the message. Well darn, this was going to get awkward awfully fast. Exhaling softly Takeshi scratched at his head, giving the female Saiyan a scrutinizing look. "He's still awfully sore about things, isn't he? I'm really not looking forward to this..." Perhaps with ill timing did he realize that Viral was now in the room as well, catching the Beastman out of the corner of his eye. Okay, this was definitely not going to go well.

Korian sat in the bridge of the main ship, sitting behind the cloaking device at the back of the formation. In sheer size his craft was the same size as the Saiyan one, being modeled after one of the gunboats after all. Hearing who was onboard the ship came as a surprise, albeit not a very pleasant one. It was too soon after their last exchange to be meeting, especially like this. The rebel leader did see some bright side to this however, there may be chance yet to get the Princes and their friends back on the side of the rebellion. The effort had been steadily gaining steam as of late, but they had yet to really hit the bulk of the king's forces. Whether they had the manpower or not to conduct a successful attack on a real stronghold planet was up in the air. With all those potential fighters though they'd be more then prepared. That was that then, he had to try and bury the hatchet and earn their trust back.

"Is that right? Well, I can certainly hear them out." Gesturing to his own communications officer Korian had a relay opened up between his and the Princes' ship, soon replacing Sayomi's image on the screen. Sure enough he was greeted with quite a few familiar faces, and a fair few that he did not recognize at all. There were the kids that Takeshi had been in a squad with, and Shu and Vegeta. Some woman he was not familiar with stood with the squad, and a Kaesstrian with the younger Prince. The most alarming sight among everyone was sat off to the side, Viral clearly not too fond of being on screen. Right, so he and the Beastman were going to have to talk to one another fairly soon it seemed, something that would probably be best to do sooner rather than later too. "You've got me kids, now what do you need? We're busy here, so please make it quick."

"You weren't too busy to attack us, so you can't be that busy," Takeshi pointed out. What on earth could they possibly be busy with? And what were they doing out here anyways in the first place? No doubt fighting the Saiyans, and they had probably gone after this ship simply because it was a Saiyan one. So there was some explanation, not that he was going to mull over it too much. Whatever the reason for their being here didn't matter, they were here now and that was that. "We're looking into something on that planet down there, and we might need help doing it. There was some nasty creature on this ship when we took it, and we think there could be more. I mean, we can probably take down whatever is there on our own, buuuut.... If you want to lend us some soldiers to fight with us to make things go quicker then we'd be more than happy to take a few."

"So let me get this straight... You stole a Saiyan ship, and now you're traveling to a planet just to go hunting? And you want a few of my fighters to do this? Just what in the world are you trying to find down there?" Leave it to these kids to give him an absurd request. Why would he spare troops when they were already few in number, all for a hunting excursion? While he should readily agree to get their favor it wasn't an easy request to fill, certainly not while they were in Saiyan controlled space. Losing numbers here could spell ruin for them should they be attacked. "I can't agree to that, you have to understand our position. We're only six ships strong, and we could be faced with a fleet at any moment. If we give troops out now then we'll only be hurting our own chances of succeeding"

That was a load, Vegeta wasn't at all content with that answer. If there was a fleet present they'd know it, you couldn't well hide an entire fleet. "Well how about this then? You blew up our cannons, so we're completely defenseless. The way I see it you owe us for that little blunder. Plus, if you don't agree to help us then fine, but we're not going to help you either. As far as we've been concerned we're out of this war of yours anyways, so no reason to get involved." Bait the rebel, it was pretty clear that he wasn't quite finished with them just yet. They might as well call it a day and keep traveling then, no reason to stay here.

"You're going to put me in that position then, are you?" Korian mused, smiling tightly before sighing. "I suppose I do owe you for the damage to that craft. But... Rather than help you find this beast let us offer something else. You can't fly around in a clearly Saiyan craft, you're asking to be hunted down. Land on the planet and we'll follow, and we'll modify the vessel for you. Then you can hunt as you see fit, and we'll rest a little easier knowing you're not going to end up in the king's hands again."
Thank goodness, it was the rebels. Albeit that may not be any better than Saiyans seeing as the note they'd left on was less than stellar. Nonetheless Vegeta felt discernibly relieved when he saw Sayomi come up on the screen, allowing himself a sigh of relief before giving a partial wave. "You wouldn't shoot us down after the trouble you went through helping us, it wouldn't make sense," he pointed out, certainly finding it easier to speak now. The order being given for the troops to withdraw was a welcome one, and it meant they weren't going to be blown to smithereens. "And we're all doing fine, for the most part. A little tough time of things lately for some of us, but overall we're doing okay. Considering how far you are from your base I take it things are going well for you too." Clearly the rebels had been busy, as at this point it seemed to be quite evident that the rebellion was gaining steam. Considering they had found this Saiyan warship it had to be Saiyan controlled space, and yet here were the enemies of the empire strolling in almost nonchalantly. Curious, Vegeta wanted to know just how much they had gotten done in the few days since the separation.

"We stole the ship! Right from under the noses of the Saiyans!" Takeshi said proudly, finally breaking free from Kabocha and getting back on screen. It hadn't exactly been a momentous battle that had earned them the craft, but Sayomi didn't know that. "And we're out here to go hunting... Well, kind of. See, there was this monster on our ship, and it was spooking these guys out," he explained, gesturing to the engineers, "So we looked into it and ended up killing the thing. Whatever it was though it was strange, not like anything we've seen before."

"It turned into smoke when it was killed. No blood, no visible wounds, it just... Vanished..." Vegeta continued, frowning as he rubbed at his chin. "We tracked through the ships logs to this planet, we figured we'd try to figure out where it came from and if we can, take out any more that are down there. One of them wasn't too bad, but we're worried if there's more, that they could be a real problem." Not to mention the peculiar ability the creature had, phasing into surfaces and sliding along like a shadow. It didn't have to be particularly strong if it could sneak around, and that's what made it truly dangerous. "If people are going to travel around here at some point then it's got to be safe. And now that you're here... Maybe you could help us take a look? We're not entirely certain what's down there, and the more force we can bring the better."

Takeshi found the reunion with the rebels bitter sweet. It was nice to see Sayomi again, who while not the most sociable maybe had always done right by them. Where she was though Korian was sure to follow, and that man in particular had him uneasy. The rebel leader alone had been the reason they left, and seeing that they may have to deal with him now was fair disheartening. Tensions were most definitely still there, and who knows how things would pan out once Korian and Viral saw each other again. "Is Korian around...? We should probably talk to him, y'know... Before we go ahead and do anything? If he's still sore about things I don't want to start a fight with the guy. We've got enough to do without him being a jerk."
Yumi wanted to convince Viral not to kill the Saiyans, to be a little more merciful about it all. Then again however she was feeling a little vindictive herself, now faced with the potential chance to get back at those who changed her. Killing them was probably beyond her, she'd never killed anyone before, but beating them up sounded awfully pleasant. "You don't have to change, and I don't want you to either..." she commented, biting her lip before looking away. "Just please be careful when you fight? We don't know who we might be up against yet, and it could be very bad." She herself was no coward, but that didn't mean she couldn't feel intimidated. There were some fair nasty Elites she had met, and even in her controlled state of mind she had been able to acknowledge their power. Not even counting the king there were plenty of men, and women too that were awfully strong. None of them would be able to beat the Elite one on one, she was positive of that. Running along with Choi, Yumi looked back to see Viral coming with them, looking very much ready to fight. Well that was good, at least he would fight with them.

Well this was not good, not at all. Vegeta couldn't figure out if there were more weapon systems from where he sat, not even knowing where to look to begin with. The two main batteries were online, but those were hardly going to do a lot of good against multiple, quick moving targets. Pretty soon he didn't even need to use the radar to spot the enemies, their proximity more than enough to make them visible. To his chagrin the ships began to spread out, encircling the larger vessel and priming to attack. Looking to Kabocha at one of the guns he nodded his head to get ready, they were going to need the weapons. Unfortunately they were not going to get the weapons to use, as a sudden blast hit the ship and two simultaneous warnings appeared; both cannons were disabled. Now they were quite literally sitting ducks, maybe only able to try and flee. A voice patched through their system then, a curiously familiar one at that. The woman rather quickly dismissed any hopes of fleeing from this, but maybe they weren't going to have to.

"We're travelers, like I said, that's all." Vegeta explained calmly, trying not to show how nervous he was feeling. Swallowing back said nervousness he rose up out of his chair, motioning for the engineers to set up a video feed. At the edge of the platform where he sat a camera turned on, signaled by a flashing light, and now hopefully they could communicate better. "My name is Vegeta, and... I am a Saiyan, but not part of the king's army. I'm from Earth, and I'm here with friends. We're to get home, we don't want to fight you." Not like they really could fight them, not unless they went ahead and started boarding the other ships. Hearing a door open behind him the Saiyan turned around, spotting the others coming inside the bridge, all onscreen as well. It could either be their saving grace or their condemnation, seeing as both Princes were in the room now. It had to be well known by now they had defected, so depending on who these people were the brothers would determine their fate. And, of course, Takeshi seemed intent to make things more difficult.

"Are you talking to the people attacking us?" Takeshi blurted out, frowning while looking at Vegeta. Noticing the camera he walked forward, getting well into the shot and crossing his arms over his chest. They had only just gotten away from trouble, and were supposed to be on their way home, now these people were causing them grief. Obviously he was not too ecstatic about this. "What do you people want? We're not giving the ship back, if that's what you came for. If my father told you to come get it then you're out of luck, it's ours now. So you can fly off in your little ships and- Mmmmmph!" Kabocha had come up behind Takeshi, quickly covering his mouth with one hand while pulling him back.

"Dude, really? They're the ones with the guns, not us! And if you haven't noticed we're sort of in the vacuum of space. I really don't feel like floating around in space."

Vegeta rolled his eyes, watching as Takeshi was pulled off by Kabocha, silently thanking the latter for probably saving their hides. Still, if this voice belonged to who he thought it did then even the overzealous Prince couldn't louse this up. Looking back at the camera and smiling faintly he decided to go out on a limb and try and put a name to the voice. Best case scenario this was over and they were safe, worst case he was wrong and, well, Kabocha's little fear of floating away would become a reality. "There... You know some of the people that are on here now, and we're not with the Saiyans, like I said. You're not really going to fire at us again, are you... Sayomi?"
There we are :D Got to be politically correct after all :P
Yey :D Glad to hear it!
Takeshi really couldn't recount recently the last time he had been so close to soiling himself out of fright. The sudden nature of the attack coupled with the frenzied look that Viral was sporting had him a fair bit unnerved, to say the least. Seriously, they had butted heads before and all that had been exchanged was words. Now all of a sudden he warranted an attack with the cleaver, not exactly a toy. Was he really that sensitive about his weapon being called an 'it'? "You're saying you would have killed me for insulting your weapon?" Takeshi repeated, giving Viral an incredulous look. "And I don't know how to use my sword, so why would that be my first reaction? If SOMEONE would teach me how to use it then I probably would have sprung for it." Man, this was just such a pain. It was awfully exasperating trying to be helpful only for the person to turn around and nearly lop off one of your arms. Awfully difficult to maintain civility at that point. Bristling with anger it was a good thing the intercom buzzed to life when it did, potentially stopping a fight from breaking out. One brawl to another though, since there were enemies reportedly approaching their ship. Well that was peachy.

"How about instead of killing me you take it out on these guys?" Takeshi mused, smiling bitterly. "Come on, we'll need to help." This was not good, very much not good. Five ships of who knows what size coming after them. And the engineer had said at least, so there very well may be more. Assuming this thing even really could fight chances were they were going to end up drastically outnumbered here. While on a planet that may not be such an issue it wasn't so much their being defeated that concerned everyone, but the ship being beaten. As soon as the ship went so did all of them, simple as that. Cussing under his breath Takeshi ran after the others hastily, not wanting to let Shu go by himself even if he was with T'charrl.

"They're not going to take us back, you can count on that," Yumi said firmly, nodding her head. "I'd sooner die then go back to them." At least in Otherworld they'd be at peace, not having to worry about these blasted Saiyan soldiers any longer. Blinking as her arm was given a tug she stumbled after Choi, stopping him rather quickly and looking over her shoulder at Viral. "Come with us? I would feel a lot better if you were fighting at my side. Please?"

Vegeta got to the bridge pretty quickly, immediately going to the Captain's controls and taking his seat. Sure enough the display was already up, and five distinctive dots were heading towards them at a fair great speed. At the rate they were traveling they'd be within range in just under two minutes, hardly giving them any time to get ready. Frowning he quickly opened up the ship's weapon systems, beginning to bring them online as hastily as he could. With a few keystrokes the wings of the ship slowly began to rise, leveling out horizontally and steadying as a pair of twin cannons emerged from the tops. If need be they would be prepared to fire, so long as someone manned that weapon's controls. Most likely it was Saiyans coming to reclaim their ship, but it was best they try to make certain before possibly blowing apart friendly vessels. Broadcasting a signal out of the ship then Vegeta tried to reach their potential attackers. "Can you hear me? Listen, we do not want to fight you. We're just travelers, we don't want to fight. We're not with the Saiyans." Would be fair obvious if not for the fact they were in more or less a Saiyan flagship. It would be his word against the blatantly enemy vessel then.
