Garesh wasn't familiar with 'Earth', and as far as he knew all their people looked as strange as Yumi did. Odd creatures, completely without hair and wings, but they'd certainly played host to some less than ideal people before. Strange or not these two were welcome. "I hope that your friend makes a fast recovery then," the General replied, smiling at Shu kindly. "Our world is ideal for long life and health since it is so clean. Even the energy that is released from above is pure, and it endows our world with the power to flourish as it does. You couldn't have picked a more idyllic world to settle on, I think." In no time at all they had gotten back to the palace gates, and on a sharp command the doors were opened for them to enter. Unlike before Yumi and Shu would notice the increase in guards in the area, all armed with various weapons. None gave them any discouraging looks though; waves and smiles were plentiful amongst the ranks. It was clear these people appreciated what had been done for them, and even the strange nature of the duo wasn't barring their hospitality.

Once more into the common room Shu and Yumi were led up the parting staircases, being brought to a set of gilded doors with banners on either side of them. Turning to his young companions Garesh's demeanor tightened up a bit, still smiling slightly as he held himself tall. "Now... I know you met her before, but bear in mind this is our Queen. In private you can relax, but please, here use formalities. Either 'Your Majesty' or 'Your Highness' will do. I'm sorry to impose these rules on you, but it's something everyone needs to do here, outsiders included." Grabbing each of the handles the General gave the doors a push, they swinging open with relative ease. Beyond the threshold was a long purple carpet with a golden trim, as well as matching banners with tassles on the edges along the walls. Support pillars ran from the floor up to a high arching ceiling, and above a glass window let in a good deal of light, from the very veins that illuminated the rest of the city. At the head of the room was a set of three chairs, with the middle being the largest and most elegant. There sat the Queen, with T'charrl to her left, the third reserved for the General. "Come along now, we'd best move along."

Yumi kept Shu's hand in hers securely, as much for calming his nerves as it was her own. If the situation didn't deem otherwise she'd be looking around at the architecture, poking her head in every nook and cranny to study this palace. If everyone else was all business though then they should try to be too, and so she walked along behind Garesh with eyes forward, her shoulders awkwardly back to have a proper posture. After a certain point they were stopped along the way, with the General taking his seat beside Eslaria and guards lining up between the royal family and the two outsiders. A bit nervous Yumi swallowed hardly, managing a meek smile as she looked to Garesh for a clue as what to do. Getting waved on she bowed her head sheepishly, though certainly not curtsying or anything. "Um... You asked for us, Your Majesty?" she managed to get out, her voice a bit uncertain. When had she ever had to address someone like this before?

"I did, I'm glad to see you two arrived promptly." Eslaria answered, looking down on the two outsiders. "Before I give you your parting gifts I want to formally thank you again for helping get the Prince home safely. We owe you a great deal of gratitude for that, more than you could know. So let me give you this first, a gift in its own right. If you two should ever return to Kaesstra, our doors are always open to you." Despite themselves there was a bit of murmur between the guards, and Garesh as well gave his wife a bit of a surprised look. Clearly no one had been informed about that decision, as it was near unheard of to be open to non-Kaesstrians. Raising a hand for everyone to settle down Eslaria smiled slightly, turning her head to look at T'charrl. "Prince T'charrl? Do you have anything to say to your friends before they are sent on their way?"

"Well crap... I don't know Kai. How about I just use the scouter to do it?" Kabocha continued, getting agitated more over the body smacking against him constantly than his partner. Lifting a hand he pressed the button on the side before rolling his eyes, smiling faintly. "Oh that's right, they don't work! I wouldn't be surprised if we got some worn out, older models." Glancing back to hear what Choi had to say the Saiyan nodded a little, having to agree that this part had been easy at least. When the marriage quip came up though he was going to snap at the other twin, if not for the surprise of seeing a Ki blast chasing them down. Descending a bit he watched as it narrowly missed Choi, soaring well ahead of them before exploding, making them stop in flight. "Yeah Choi, I fired from behind you while ahead of you!" Kabocha shouted, tightening his grip on Viral. "Who the hell was it?"

Takeshi fired another blast from below the treeline, only barely seeing the trio clad in Saiyan armor above. This blast was intercepted by another, shot by the one carrying Viral. If he was going to get his friend down he'd have to get out there. Sighing he flew up to meet the others, at first quickly with the intent to strike one of them down. As he got closer though their faces came into focus, and a few meters away he screeched to a halt, eyebrows lifted in surprise. "Kai...? Choi...?" he mumbled, seeing who had Viral as well, "And Kabocha? What are you three doing here? And what are you doing with him?" Dumb question, he knew these three had become his father's personal lapdogs since they'd last met. So they were trying to steal the Beastman back then? Figures, they finally get some rest only for this to happen. "Look guys, I'm working on getting you out, but I can't let you take Viral. Hand him over, okay?"
Yumi was disappointed that L'esta had to leave, he had been a properly nice companion in the city. The General didn't seem bad though, certainly not if he was on friendly terms with the Captain anyways. Besides, they could likely leave whenever they wanted to, so even if this went south getting out shouldn't be much an issue. At her side it seemed that Shu wasn't nearly as confident about this, constantly grabbing her hand and hiding against her. To settle his nerves she squeezed his hand in her grasp, smiling down at him gently. "I don't think they HATE us," she whispered back, referring to what L'esta had said about the Queen earlier. "And even if it's just in the moment T'charrl doesn't seem to hate us either. We did something good Shu, so it's normal for people to want to thank someone. If anything happens though we'll leave, I promise."

"Yeah yeah... Bite my face off..." Kabocha mumbled, already tired of Viral's heroics. Seriously, he could barely move, let alone fight. Just who was he trying to protect in that sorry state? Part of him wished they had knocked the Beastman out, but then again they needed him in case they couldn't find Yumi anywhere. Sighing at Kai's complaint he smiled faintly, nodding his head in agreement. "Cut our losses and run for the time being, yeah?" It wasn't the best plan of action, but it would have to do. Better than risking going home with no one at all, that was for sure. "And give up on that stupid thing will you?" Kabocha snapped, referring to the scouters they all carrried, "It's jamming our signals down here, it won't do us any good."

"From what I've heard of you two, you're quite the unusual pair," Garesh spoke up, walking along with his gaze right ahead. Unlike with their trip with L'esta the crowds cleared rather quickly for this new entourage, though many still lingered to catch a glimpse of the curious aliens. "A Saiyan boy and a woman of unknown origin, definitely an oddity on our world. I'd ask what you're doing on our world, but I can assume that you stopped here with no ill will, seeing as our cities still stand, so it bothers me little." Saiyans were notorious in the universe, and even a secluded planet such as Kaesstra caught wind of the atrocities those people had carried out. To have one of those people turn into a pseudo-hero was an unlikely but welcome turn. Looking over his shoulder Garesh smiled slightly, coming to a stop gradually as they neared the bridge to the palace. "I'm sure you've heard it before by now, but as commander of my city's defences I have to stress that you be on your best behavior while here. I won't make a foolish claim that I could fight you if you struck out against us, but while we're on good terms let's please keep it that way, yes?"
"Oh no, T'charrl is fine. In fact he's been discharged from the doctor's care only a few moments ago," Garesh replied, chuckling to himself as he lifted a claw to rub at the back of his head. "My wife is going to kill me for that, but he really didn't need to be cooped up. And knowing the way he gets I thought it was just as well he gets out. Last time we tried grounding him he ended up out in the city picking a fight with some little band of punks. Beat them up, but got a split lip after it all..." Realizing he was rambling the General smiled sheepishly, adjusting his weight between his feet and clearing his throat. "Sorry. But yes he's fine. And now that he's up again we feel ready to properly thank you. So if you'd be kind enough to come with us." There was still some to be learned about these two, giving this impromptu fetch request an ulterior motive as well. Gesturing for the outsiders to follow along Garesh turned to L'esta, smiling and placing a hand on his friend's shoulder. "Please return to your post for the time being. I appreciate you taking time to help out, but we'll handle things from here."

"Of course, I'll see you later then." L'esta replied. Turning to Yumi and Shu he smiled, bowing to them politely. "And you two as well, it was a pleasure meeting you two." He didn't have too terribly much time left to his shift, but there was the matter of moving men around and getting ready for the next group to come in. It was a touch disappointing to have to leave such interesting people, but he was sure they'd meet again.

Yumi watched as the Captain left them, waving until he was out of sight. She'd miss him, he was definitely a nice change from the stiff lot that they'd met in the city. Nodding at the General's request she looked down at Shu, taking up his hand and giving it a squeeze to reassure him. "Don't worry so much, these people are nice. And the General definitely seems nicer than his wife." There wasn't the impending sense that you were going to be smacked upside the head with this man, which was a welcome change. Seeing that their new escort was getting further ahead Yumi gave the monkey-boy's arm a gentle tug before hurrying along after them, keeping his hand in hers securely.

That city had to be where she was, there was no other place visible for miles. Kabocha smiled as he prepared to take off towards the white metropolis, instead grunting and fidgeting as Viral tossed about in his grasp. "Hey, hold still idiot! I'll drop you if you keep doing that!" he shouted, using his free arm to hold the Beastman's legs still. How utterly annoying, he should have dumped this job on one of the twins. "Luck or not, at least we've got something to show for all of this. Let's see if we can get the girl, then we'll go back to the ships." With a gradual build up Kabocha started off flying, taking point as they raced over the trees once again. While leaving now would probably satisfy Yamate they really should try finding the girl, then at least they could say they made the effort. So long as they didn't run into any familiar faces they ought to be okay.
L'esta smiled proudly at seeing the satisfied reaction of their guests. It was nice to know that all of their hard work in maintaining that tree was paying off, especially if some aliens appreciated the fruit as well. Shaking his head the Captain bit into his fruit again, gesturing to the tree behind him idly. "It's a secret as far as I know. Even if they knew though I can't imagine a reason that they would attack us for it. It does help clean the air down here, but aside from that there's nothing special." There was the fact it bore a unique fruit, but that was hardly worth fighting over. Hell, if the two peoples were on better terms he was willing to bet they would share with the people above ground. "It wasn't hard to do really, in fact we had very little influence in it at all. This tree came up on its own, and we were going to cut it down initially. When we found out how unique it was though we just couldn't do it, and so we built this structure around it to keep it safe. Then more and more plants sprouted up, and you can see how the rest turned out."
"It really is amazing. I never would have thought a tree like that would be able to grow..." Yumi mused, biting into the fruit again. The amount of nutrients a plant that size would need would be incredible, not to mention in order to share it with the other plants in its system. Maybe that weird energy they kept seeing had something to do with it. There was so much mystery on this world, she wanted to learn more about it so badly. Polishing off the last of her fruit she glanced down at the core in her hand, not too sure what to do with it. Looking up and seeing L'esta simply toss it into the bush she did the same, smiling happily. "Thank you for that, it was delicious." Maybe they could get a few to bring back to their friends, if allowed. Though if these people didn't want anyone stealing their fruit she could understand why not.

"You're very welcome, I'm glad I could share some with you. It's the least that can be done after all." L'esta wanted to wait for Shu to finish before leaving the gardens, but through one of the doorways he could see a number of the royal guard approaching them. Accompanying them was none other than the general, T'charrl's father. Getting a touch nervous for bringing the guests into the garden he went ahead to meet the other soldiers, kneeling down before the general politely. "Garesh! To what do I owe the personal visit of the general himself?"

General Garesh looked down at the guard captain with a steady expression, arms folded behind his back. "I came to find these two on my wife's request, not to see you." he answered plainly, watching L'esta lift his head curiously. For a moment the two looked at one another before the general laughed, the Captain joining in a moment later as the two embraced briefly. "I do hate to interrupt, but Eslaria wants to see them, and I don't intend on keeping her waiting for very long. Mind if I steal them for a moment?" A shake of the head from L'esta told him not, and gesturing for his escort to wait a moment he walked towards Shu and Yumi, arms once more behind his back. "You two are the ones who saved my son then?"

"Call it what you want, you're wrong. You don't know what we have to deal with, so don't you dare try to label us." This Beastman was ridiculous, he was far easier to deal with when sedated and under someone else's command. Frustrated Kabocha grabbed Viral by his arms, slinging the faintly larger man over his shoulder and looking at the twins. They were going to have to find where Yumi was on their own, much easier said than done. "Ready to fly guys? Time to keep hunting." Until they had that damn girl they couldn't afford to leave, otherwise they would be paying for a failure. Sighing the Saiyan rose up into the air, scanning the horizon for some sign of civilization. They would just hit every town until they found where she was, if it had to go that way. It took a few seconds for them to locate anything, but finally Kabocha managed to spot a series of white structures off in the distance, standing well against the trees. Grinning he looked over his shoulder at Viral, nodding towards the place in question. "How about we start there, hm?"
"Well... Typically the fruit is only eaten by residents, but..." L'esta paused, smiling as he extended his wings. Flying up wordlessly he grabbed three of the fruits, throwing one down to each Shu and Yumi respectively. "I suppose we can make an exception in this case. To be honest I'm expecting you to be given some of this fruit anyways, so it can't hurt to sample at least one piece." He'd had it before of course, several times, so it wasn't anything special really. Nonetheless he sank his teeth into it, smiling contentedly as he enjoyed the food. "This garden, it's usually private except for during festivals. That's why you hardly see anyone around here. The fruit the tree bears takes a while to grow, so we have to give it ample time to ripen and sprout, otherwise the tree would never be this full." Taking a seat on one of the protruding roots L'esta looked between the two thoughtfully, rolling the fruit between his hands. "What do you think of it?"

Yumi looked at the tree in disbelief, having as much a hard time as Shu trying to comprehend what they were being told. So this one tree was essentially the entire basis for this city? Trailing the roots that bore into the ground she tried to get some idea of where they went, her vision cut off by the pillars around them. It was magnificent, there really wasn't any other word for it. Looking back to their guide she emitted a soft "Oh!" when a fruit was thrown into her hands, looking at it carefully. It was odd, bright yellow in color and a multitude of bumps along the skin. Flexing her fingers against it carefully she was surprised at how easily the rind gave way, her fingertips digging into the soft fleshy material underneath. Hefting her shoulders in a shrug Yumi bit into it, chewing on the fruit carefully before beaming. It was a mixture of flavors, much like a smoothie, and absolutely delicious. "Wow! How is this even possible?" she whispered, taking another bite graciously. She wasn't an avid fruit eater like Shu, but she could easily sit here all day and snack on these.

Kabocha growled furiously at Viral's attitude, getting a fair bit peeved with his back talk. Rather than offer any retort though one of the twins opted to do it for him, Choi of all people. Watching the foot connect with Viral's head the noble smiled bitterly, easing up on his knee slightly as not to damage their captive. "Of course we want to become stronger! We're Saiyans you idiot, it's what we do. But it's not that simple, and I wouldn't expect you to understand." They could train for years and probably never beat the top Elites, never mind Yamate. They wanted freedom, they wanted to have nothing to do with their damned king, but here they were stuck as measly servants. While he'd initially cooled down a little Kabocha found himself getting angrier just thinking about it, gritting his teeth and biting back some rather crude remarks directed towards the Beastman.

"Believe me, we've tried to break free from him. You think a tyrant like that was welcomed with open arms?" Kabocha continued, now shouting despite himself. "Yamate took control, and he killed anyone who opposed him! We can't do anything or we die, our families die, and anyone we've ever known dies. Not that I'd expect you to understand that!" It was like Choi said, this monster had no family. He'd never known loss, or would ever have to face the potential of losing a loved one. He was alone, and honestly that seemed preferable to their situation. With his anger rising the Saiyan was making one basic mistake, and that was his power was seeping out gradually. It was already well past the point of detection, but he couldn't care less. Binding Viral's hands with the cuffs he pushed the man into the dirt, getting up and giving his side a good kick. "Now keep your damn mouth shut, will you?"
The discussion of Ki could wait for now, they were supposed to be enjoying themselves. If the hesitation on Shu's part hinted at anything he was doing anything but. Seeing the boy clearly be uneasy about the idea the Captain let it go, opting for a change in discussion instead. "It's a surprise, but I promise you'll like it." Also a useful excuse to get away from the prying eyes of the populous, for now anyways. If the general public knew they had aliens in their midst, a Saiyan no less, then reactions might be... Sketchy. It was best then to keep everything under the radar so to speak, at least until the Queen deemed it okay. To avoid larger groups L'esta took them down several side roads, ushering away the few curious folk who followed regardless. After some critical words they got rid of their final 'fans', though he was sure they would come back. Keeping to themselves the Captain managed to bring them to the outskirts of a large arched courtyard. The pillars surrounding the area were made of a polished stone, though these having more of a brass color in contrast to the white-washed stone above. What he had hoped to show the others lay inside.

Stepping through the arches Shu and Yumi would see a massive tree in the middle of the area, easily the most prominent feature due to its gigantic proportions. Around it were smaller trees, saplings by the looks of them, and various beds of flowers. The centerpiece was outstanding, both in its size and looks. The bark was a soft brown color, almost like fur, but if one touched it they would be surprised by the coarseness of the material. Branches spanned out in every which direction, each bearing lime-green leaves. What would probably delight Shu most of all were the yellow fruits that the tree bore, nearly as plentiful as the leaves themselves. "It's a lovely plant, isn't it?" L'esta mused, turning to the others and smiling happily. "This tree, believe it or not, gives life to every other tree in this cave. Any tree you see sprouts from the roots of this one, which run under the ground everywhere. And the fruit above is among the richest on our world, since so many nutrients are made to use it." Looking up at the tree the captain chuckled, folding his hands behind his back. "Perhaps this is something you might want, Shu?"

Kabocha gave Viral a funny look before beginning to laugh, shaking his head in disbelief. "Honor? You're seriously going to prattle on about that tired old ideal?" he asked, straightening out his expression as he applied a little pressure to Viral's wrists. "Let me tell you about honor. Doing something that you completely despise to keep your loved ones safe, isn't that honor? Isn't it HONORABLE to suffer for the ones you care about? Because that's what we do." Smirking the Saiyan tried to turn the Beastman around, pushing him to the ground with his arms behind his back to secure him. "We don't want to do this. We couldn't give a damn about Yumi, or you, or this war really. We just want to see our parents and friends alive when we go home, so we keep doing this. Are we really without honor then? If we've got no choice then does that make us bad?" Hardly here to be philosophical Kabocha crammed his knee against Viral's back, looking between the twins hopefully. "Got something we can tie his arms together with? I don't want to have to drag him around with me."
L'esta was still fairly speechless after Yumi's display, rather surprised by her ability. It was something else to be sure, and hearing that anyone could do it he was admittedly keen on learning how, even with his wings. Flashing a smile in Shu's direction the Captain chuckled, waving a hand dismissively. "Both of our ways of flight are neat. Yours are alien to us as I'm sure ours are to you, that's simply how it is. Perhaps if we've ever got the time you might be willing to give us a little display? I know Her Majesty would be interested, and certainly T'charrl would enjoy it too. I don't mean to impose of course, only if you'd be willing to do this." They would only ever get the chance for this once the war was done with, and hopefully they might be able to get that done with soon. As much as he hated to admit it the chance to have these travelers help bring this conflict to an end was tempting, in a way Renthal had been right. Still, it was a lot to ask of someone, and they were hardly acquainted enough to do so yet. Turning his back to the pair L'esta started to walk again, glancing over his shoulder and smiling warmly. "There is something I would like you two to see, please follow me."

Kabocha's grin remained wide as he agitated the defunct Beastman, satisfied that he was getting into the man's skull. He looked exhausted as hell, there wasn't any cause for concern then with this one, not now anyways. "Funny... Since it's those messenger boys who are going to kick your ass if you don't behave yourself," he retorted, crouching and waving on Viral to come after him. "Come on, try it! Try to kill me!" If it weren't for the clear gap in their strength right now he'd never do this, not in a million years. The chance now though to show up a former commander was too great, he had to go for it. Laughing as he deftly dodged swipe after swipe Kabocha eventually caught one of Viral's wrists, avoiding the other paw and snagging that one in his grasp as well. "Seriously, how long do you want to keep this up? I can just break you then drag you back with us, I'm sure the king would love to have you back after you ran off on him."
L'esta tried to wrap his mind around what Shu was telling him, to get some kind of grasp on what he was explaining. Energy, did he mean like the kind that their planet emitted? For the life of him the captain couldn't see how that was possible, which meant he had to be talking about a different kind. "That's very strange... I'd love to see it some time." he replied, though immediately shot down when the Saiyan deferred that idea. Well that was disappointing, he'd hoped to see an example of it.
"I can show you, if you want," Yumi interjected, smiling politely. Placing her hands behind her back she stepped backwards a few feet to give herself room, putting her hands at her sides and exhaling. Hopefully she still could do this, she hadn't really tried since this change brought upon her. Concentrating on her Ki she focused it down towards the ground, and ever so slowly began to rise into the air. With a triumphant grin she rose well up to near the top of the roofs, looking down at the stunned captain and onlookers as she waved cheerfully. "See? Like that! It's all about using your Ki to fly! It's really easy once you get the hang of it!"

"Ki, hm?" L'esta mused, really too astonished by the display to say much else. It was peculiar seeing something without wings take flight, he'd thought it was previously impossible. Certainly so did the other denizens, and soon cheers and shouts of amazement filled the streets. Seeing Yumi land just as effortlessly the captain was beaming, clapping his hands in unison with the group that had gathered to watch the demonstration. "That was amazing! I never thought something like that was possible. And all from Ki you say?"

Yumi was a faint pink from embarrassment, not quite used to being applauded like that. Looking to the captain as he spoke she nodded her head curtly, grinning sheepishly. "Yes, it's using your natural energy to fly." Getting a perplexed look from more than one person she cupped her chin thoughtfully, craning her head to the side as she thought on the subject a bit more. "It's an energy that all living things have inside of them. You, me, all of us have it. When you learn to control it you can fly, among other things. It's really neat actually!"

"Oh ho, looks like I hit a nerve there!" Kabocha laughed, grinning as he watched the Beastman get to his feet. So he did know where she was, judging by his reaction, that was a good start. Watching Viral jump into action the Saiyan sprung back swiftly, easily quicker in his good health. Well out of the man's reach he danced on his feet a bit, gesturing for Viral to come after him smugly. "You'll tell us one way or another, so come off of it and spill the beans! Either we hear it from you or we find her on our own, and trust me, if we have to look it'll be worse for her."
'Buildings made of stone? Must be like the surface..." L'esta mused, giving his chin a thoughtful scratch. An entire race of people that were unable to fly too, how peculiar. It seemed strange that anyone would be bound to the ground, rather unusual to be certain. Giving both the travelers a curious glance he stepped closer to Shu, scrutinizing the boy for a second. "Do you two fly...? Neither of you have wings, so are you amongst those who are bound to walk?" Every Kaesstrian could fly, from a fairly early age too. To emphasize his point the captain spread his wings, smiling at the Saiyan amused. "Your world sounds very interesting, I think I would like to see it some day if I ever get the chance. Maybe I will visit you there as well, if you wouldn't mind."

Kabocha knew full well what Viral was capable of, and as such wasn't going to take any chances. He had been counted amongst the Elite on merit alone, his strength had gotten him there. Simply put that even if he looked hurt this was not a fight that they wanted to walk into blindly. Keeping hs distance the Saiyan smiled amused, placing his hands on his hips. "We're looking for someone, commander, and I'm willing to bet you know exactly where to find her." If both this girl and the Beastman were on the same world and neither were from it then it couldn't be mere coincidence, they HAD to be traveling together. Squatting down Kabocha looked eye to eye with Viral, lips curling back in a grin. "A girl named Yumi, you probably know her. We've got orders to bring her back with us, and none of us plan on going home empty handed. So why don't we go ahead and skip the fight and you just tell us where she is?"
"Well, it does rain fairly often too," L'esta pointed out, lifting a hand to tap his chin thoughtfully, "Though we've been in a dry spell lately. It is about mid-year though, so that's normal. Aside from rain there is a mist that settles over the planet now and again, and that makes it really humid. We love it though, that's the best time of year. Usually that happens around the beginning of the year, after the frost." It seemed like there was an awful lot about one another that they did not know, and that spurred both party's curiosity. No Kaesstrian had really ever left the planet before, with their anatomy requiring unique conditions and all, so their knowledge of worlds beyond their own was scarce. It would definitely be something to visit another planet sometime, maybe once this little dispute of theirs was over. "This snow and ice of yours though... It sounds very interesting. Almost like frost, but even colder..." The Captain paused, shuddering faintly before giving a meek smile. "We're not a fan of the cold, so pardon me by saying I wouldn't be too eager to see THAT part of your world."

From the palace back to the city L'esta led the pair through a multitude of streets. Some were crowded and elegant in design, marketplaces and the upper class districts, while others were more modest and narrow. Even those seemed like a decent enough place to live though. If the city was good for one thing it was accomodating those who lived here. No one lived in poverty so long as it could be helped, as an excess in supplies was always kept in order to ensure everyone survived. With war raging it was a little more difficult, what with displaced refugees and less goods to go around, but they still managed to be a metropolis under the earth. "Tell me a little about your home world, little one." L'esta spoke up, stopping on the side of a main street and smiling at Shu encouragingly. "I know what snow and ice are now, but what of the rest of this planet of yours? Is it like Kaesstra?"

"Just an idea. You know, seeing as we've made so much progress thus far," Kabocha retorted, frowning as he turned his head from Kai. At the mention of their former leader he cringed inwardly, sighing and looking back down at the trees. "I would hope he'll be happy to see us, but... We've kind of been doing his old man's work, so who knows how that'll sit with him." If they could agree on one thing about Takeshi it was his inherent ability to snap on a whim, making him fairly difficult to talk with. Glancing sidelong at Choi the Saiyan smiled slightly, in agreement at least that it was a pretty nice world. "I don't know, we weren't given any sort of idea even where to look on this dang rock..." The planet was big, probably even bigger than Kortal. With much of what they'd seen thus far being covered in trees hardly made their search any easier. Looking right ahead Kabocha squinted slightly, seeing a distant gap in the treeline not too far off. Smiling brightly he let out a little laugh, unfolding his arms and clasping his hands together. "Choi you damn genius! I love it when you open your mouth sometimes!" he shouted, pointing ahead to the spot in question before darting off towards it.

As the trio drew nearer they would see the clearing was not just a little barren spot, but a fairly large field in the midst of the forests. A series of rolling hills spanned from one side to the other, and the ground itself was littered with various colors of flora and smaller plant life. It was a pretty place, to be sure, but then so was this entire planet. Kabocha would have passed it right by initially had something not grabbed his attention. Coming along to a gradual halt he glanced down in the field, gesturing for the twins to do the same. "Hey... Look at that..." he whispered, pointing down to a figure below. It was a little difficult to make out from here, but that shape amongst the grass looked awfully familiar. Slowly descending towards the ground his eyes widened in recognition, immediately realizing who it was. Viral, not quite who they were looking for, and definitely not a good sign. Where the Beastman was the princes were sure to not be far behind. He seemed to be alone though right now, which was a relief. Touching down on the grass Kabocha smiled, starting to walk towards Viral steadily. "This is where you go when you runaway, huh?"
