So he had been right, in a way, Shu was worried about people being hurt. He hadn't helped the situation much either, what with being the older brother and all. Pressing for time since he had worried about people being killed as a result had been an awful thing to do in front of his impressionable little brother. "Oh... Well how often am I right anyways? Heck, you saw no one else there with Katas, right? And I didn't either. Besides, he's been there for who knows how long, I'm sure he knows what he's doing. Our little visit couldn't have jeopardized him." Hopefully not at any rate. Takeshi wanted to believe that if things did fall apart that everyone would have a means to get themselves safe, as he and his brother couldn't keep everyone safe. It really was an unnerving prospect, there was a lot riding on their ability to do this right. Biting the inside of his cheek in thought an idea came to mind, though whether Shu would take to it or not was uncertain. "If you're worried about him... Why don't you stay with him while I go ask the other people about things?" he suggested, rubbing Shu's shoulder. "Then you'd know for sure he would be safe, and we can still get things done. Plus if he's a friend of the Queen we know he can be trusted, so think of it as staying with a friend... " Takeshi explained, chuckling before smiling slightly, "Or your crazy uncle..."

"I might have been able to be a bit more serious too if we didn't have an audience," Yumi added, casting a glance in Kabocha and Vegeta's directions respectively. "And Viral? Well if he's listening then that's fine, it's not like any harm could come of that. I'm actually glad if he's relaxing, it's about time he got to." Goodness knows he'd been to hell and back, since then likely not having very much time to himself. She herself was guilty of that, having been like a thorn in his side trying to help. Perking up at the back door opening up the Beastman smiled at her friend's coming out, walking over to him with her hands folded behind her back. "Vegeta? I've got a question! Do you know any planets these three and their families could settle on? I don't know how well this one is going to work, finding them a different place might be a good idea."

Vegeta was a bit taken aback for a second when Yumi approached them, though pleasantly surprised at her question. "Kai and I were just talking about that actually, and I might have a place in mind," he answered, "But it'd have to be okay with you and the others. I figured as long as the king is still out there and Earth might be in danger, why not bring them home with us? I figure that gives them a nice place to stay, and if need be the planet has a few more able fighters." It wasn't as though their planet was alien to having Saiyans on its shores or constant threats from outer-space. Frankly that had become par for the course in the last few decades or so, which hopefully meant this plan wouldn't cause too many problems. "Finding them a home would be easy enough, plenty of room for them out where Takeshi's house is. Just... Don't tell him he might be getting neighbors."

"Woah woah woah... Wait a minute. We might be moving to Earth?" Kabocha quipped, looking at the group in surprise from where he was on the wall. "Why would we go that far away? I thought you were planning on beating the king eventually, so why don't we go back to Kortal? Stay here for now, go home when it's over." Earth seemed too... Cushy for his liking. Frankly he just couldn't imagine there being anything to even do on that planet, much less fight. If the twins had been discussing it already though then that might very well mean it'd be their next course of action, so long as the parents agreed too. Still not totally buying into the deal Kabocha glanced up towards the roof, knocking on the wall to stir Viral. "I'm willing to bet you don't want us there, huh Viral? Tell them how you feel about us coming home with you." Maybe a protest from one of their own would kick that plan in its rear.
"Come on Shu... Smile, this isn't like you to be so bummed out." He was very rarely if ever like this, as at the moment he appeared to simply not even want to be here. That reflected on Takeshi's concerns that perhaps he was indeed driving his brother to hard, and hence blaming himself. Frowning in displeasure the older boy looked away for a moment, juggling what to say in hopes of getting his brother back in his usual cheerful disposition. "I know you'll do fine, it's like riding a bike, you know? You never forget." Takeshi reassured, smiling as he got back into the swing of it a little. "But... Before we do anything I have to ask you something... And promise me you'll not edit anything out, okay?" He wasn't entirely sure if this was a good idea or not, but maybe it would help things out a little. Leaning over slightly to come eye to eye with his sibling Takeshi put a hand on his shoulder, giving a gentle smile. "Tell me exactly what's on your mind, please? Let me know what's bothering you. Are you just worried about people getting hurt?"

Vegeta almost snapped at Kai for labelling him as Viral's 'caretaker'. It just sounded so off, especially considering their relationship. They were more of friends if anything, and he just so happened to take care of the Beastman now and again. "If everything is safe enough then I don't see why you guys couldn't come to Earth with us," Vegeta replied, shrugging his shoulders. "There used to be more of us, Saiyans that is, on Earth than there are now, so I don't imagine it'll do any harm. Plus more people to protect the planet the better. Just bear in mind that you and your brother, Kabocha too will all have a lot of work to do to adjust. Earth is a lot different from your home world, and probably most of the ones you've visited so far." Maybe not too, he didn't know. Smiling the Saiyan left the kitchen on that note, heading out to the back door and gesturing for Kai to follow. "We might as well go propose that idea to your brother then, unless you really want to stay on this world and eat fruit all the time."

"You just need to learn to lighten up is all, no big deal!" Yumi chirped, smiling politely. She could completely understand that being difficult what with having the king looking over their shoulders. Given some time away though they'd have ample chance to enjoy themselves, hopefully anyways. "I'd be in the mood for some serious training if we weren't in such a busy place. I don't know where to go on this planet for privacy, and I don't want to go too far if something happens. So... Sorry if that session wasn't exactly what you were hoping for." Looking down at herself and dusting off a bit of grass and dirt she wondered just what they should do next. Yumi glanced over her shoulder in Viral's direction for a moment, debating on asking him to join them before shaking her head. He'd probably hate it, and chances are he was relaxing anyways, no reason to bother him. "Now what do we do..."
"No playing...? Well, okay then... Maybe later." Rare was it that Shu turned town playing games, and even more so was he rarely not excited about fruit. Feeling a bit concerned Takeshi glanced back at his brother, noting the decidedly distracted look on his face. Was he stressing about this situation too? If not eating or playing then what else could they do to keep themselves busy? Pondering that as they walked along the pair was drawing nearer and nearer to the city center. Noise picked up as crowds of natives were going about their daily routines, and Takeshi made it a point to stay right at Shu's side as not to get separated in the throngs of people. "I might have an idea Shu!" he spoke up, halting in his step and spinning about to face Shu. "If you just want to find something else to do... What if we try flying again? We'll probably be hungry after some practice, and then we can go get some food? Does that sound any better?"

"Of course my father kept notes," Vegeta replied almost indignantly, "Any self respecting scientist would. The only problem is some of them are ruined, while others... I just don't fully understand. As I said, I'm a scientist but I'm nowhere near as brilliant as he was. I'm only beginning to understand what really makes Viral tick after all these years." As for the hands he really didn't have an explanation for those, offering only a shrug in reply. There had to be some purpose to it he supposed, either that or it was just an unexpected development. Smirking at the comment about Saiyans Vegeta chuckled a bit, shaking his head. "We don't like to do things according to the status quo, and while most of us are weak we're stubborn and don't roll over. I guess you could say Earthlings are hardy people." It was why he loved the planet as much as he did, its people were strong in their own right. "As for what you'll do when you're free... Don't worry about it too much. You'll find you're going to have a lot of free time on your hands, and plenty of opportunity to make that decision. No reason to start worrying over it now."

Yumi grinned ecstatically as her little tackle worked this time, smirking as she now had Choi down beneath her. With a triumphant look she sat across his stomach, folding her arms contentedly. "I don't have any siblings unfortunately, so I don't know what that's like," she replied, cocking her head to the side, "But for being on your own that wasn't too bad. Plus that pretty much just devolved into a game of tag, so it was hardly a bad situation." Glad to have at least done a little something with herself the Beastman got up off of Choi, offering to help him up with an extended hand. "Thanks for that, it was fun. Though I'm guessing you've never really fought someone like me before?" Yumi asked, giggling as she helped the boy to his feet. "You just looked a little clueless trying to deal with me is all."
Takeshi was a fair bit upset that he'd seemed to unnerve Shu so much. He was feeling stressed right now but that didn't mean his brother had to as well. "I'm sorry Shu, really..." he said gently, giving his brother a one-armed hug. Clearly he needed to back off a little, as he was probably running his sibling ragged with all this chasing ghosts that they were doing. "How about we go find where that seared fruit platter came from? I'll get you as many of those as you want." With a small smirk Takeshi reached into his back pocket, pulling out a tiny pouch and chuckling mischievously. "I figured since we'd be out I'd borrow some of the money so we could eat. Whatever you're in the mood for we'll get, sound good?" If Shu was going to be like this then maybe it was best they do put it off, if only for a little while. Cheering up a bit if only for Shu's sake the older boy gestured for him to follow along, taking the familiar route back into the main part of the city. "If we're going to take a break do you want to play a little?"

"Yeah, my father created Viral as a sort of protector of Earth," Vegeta explained, smiling as he thought about it. "With him getting old, his not wanting me to fight and everyone else gone he figured the planet needed someone powerful enough to keep it safe. Since there was no one around I suppose he figured why not make someone? I only know how to keep him in decent health, how he really works is a mystery to me." Hearing out what Kai had to say Vegeta admittedly had a hard time seeing why he couldn't continue doing what he had been. After all he'd been around science all his life and he still did that, so having been brought up doing something didn't come across as an excuse. It wasn't his place to say anything though so he kept those thoughts to himself. "Once the king is gone don't you think most of the fighting is going to stop though?" he mused, giving Kai a curious glance. "I mean sure, there'll be wars between people, but nothing spanning the entire galaxy like this. And once the king is dethroned you're not in anyone's control, so it's not like you have to fight."

"But he won't always be there! You need to know how to fight outside of your comfort zone!" Yumi grinned as she launched herself up over Choi only to rebound off of a nearby tree and directly at him. She managed to tackle him as she had wanted, but soon she found herself flung upside down away from him. Using her Ki she spin right side up, landing on all fours as she did so. Choi was quick to gather himself, already getting back onto his feet despite having just been knocked down. Intent on getting him into a submissive state Yumi charged him again, aiming to grab at his legs and drag him down.
"I know... I know we don't want him to die...!" Takeshi snapped, groaning as he ran a hand through his hair. They had so much to do, a lot of people were relying on them and one false step could screw it all up. If they did anything wrong here people would die, people that they were supposed to save. Looking down at Shu he closed his eyes for a moment, breathing deeply before dropping his hand and smiling sadly. "I'm sorry Shu... I didn't mean to upset you." Gently putting a hand on his brother's head and giving his hair a patting the older boy looked back towards Katas' building, thinking on their next move seriously for a moment. Shu was likely right, acting so soon would seem fishy. Maybe they could see about getting a meal before going on with their plans. Takeshi looked back to his sibling with a gentle smile, pointing over his shoulder back towards the central part of the city. "How about we go find some lunch? We'll work better on a full stomach, yeah? After we eat we can start looking into things, how's that sound?"

"I'm an inventor, I guess you could say... And a scientist, and a doctor." Vegeta mused, smiling a bit proudly whilst crossing his arms. "I'm afraid I'm not that good at all of it though. Both of my parents were leagues above where I am, even before my age. I'm doing my best to live up to their standards, but it's hardly easy." Kai didn't seem like he knew what he wanted, which was strange. Then again from what he understood about being under the king's rule you didn't exactly get a chance to aspire to be anything, you were either a soldier or a servant. Not being able to choose your own fate, that was one luxury Vegeta now realized he had definitely taken for granted. "Why not do what your parents do? I mean wouldn't that be nice? Part of the reason I'm so passionate about my science is because it's sort of a way to honour my parents. Sure I do little things on the side for me, but science has been my biggest outlet, and really I've been happy with it. Or heck, maybe you and Choi could find something to do together."

Yumi giggled airily as she sprung herself over Choi, thoroughly enjoying herself already. Immediately going on the offensive upon landing she found her attack easily countered, leaping back and mirroring the Saiyan's moves as she smiled. "Fighting by yourself is hard, you're lucky to have someone whose usually at your side," Yumi chirped, taking a stance herself. "But sometimes you're going to find your brother isn't there, so you'll have to fight alone. Like now for instance!" With a smirk Yumi pushed off the ground, racing just above the surface towards Choi. As the distance closed she put a foot down and launched herself up towards a tree, flipping in the process and hitting the underside of a branch with the flats of her feet. Grinning toothily the Beastman then launched herself at an angle, trying to simply tackle the Saiyan into the ground and pin him.
"Well what do we do then Shu...?" Takeshi asked, giving his brother a curious look over. "Do you have some plan in mind? Because I'm just winging things here, I've got no idea what I'm doing. But if you've got something in mind I'd love to hear it." His brother had a point, maybe, but there wasn't a whole lot of options given to them. The alternative was to sit on the information for a bit then track these people down, and while it could work they were racing against time. He figured the longer they sat on the information and didn't act the better chance they had of being found out. It wasn't so much that he wanted to avoid a fight, he knew they'd win easily, but the whole point of this was to prevent conflict. If they caused the fighting to escalate by waiting then the whole effort would be moot. "I don't want to just sit around, not until I know everyone is safe. So you tell me, what should we do other than this?"

Vegeta had to admit he was a touch taken aback by how alien the idea of freedom seemed to Kai. They were in the king's rule but they were alive, and that in itself was a small freedom. Granted they were soldiers and made to follow orders, but even under their durress they still had their families regardless. Shaking his head as he began to feel a bit jealous the Saiyan smiled slightly in regards to Kai's question. "Well... I love to build things. Technology in any shape or form is interesting to me. So when there's nothing holding me back or keeping me busy, I'm usually in my lab." In fact he was rather missing that right about now. The best he could do at the moment was go back to the ship and look that over, he still hadn't figured out precisely how it worked. "What about you...? You'll all be able to do what you want soon. Anything you've always wanted to do?"

Yumi was ecstatic to be able to vent some excess energy, as for the life of her she could scarcely stand still right now. To get things really rolling she tried to tease Choi into acting first, and delightfully it worked. He had said he was fast, now it was time to see if he could hold up to that. The Saiyan rushed across the short gap to get to the Beastman, throwing a succession of quick hits at her almost immediately. He was definitely fast, as she was having to do her best to either avoid or block his blows. "Wow, not bad!" she chimed, underplaying his speed with a smile. When a straight jab came her way Yumi latched onto his arm if only for a second, using it as a spring as she launched herself up and over to behind Choi. As soon as her feet hit the ground she tried to drive an elbow into his back, hoping to knock him over or make him stumble. "But still too slow!"
Takeshi would be lying if he said he wasn't glad to be out of their. People like Katas just made him uncomfortable, no one should be that cheerful or peppy, it wasn't normal. Giving a half-hearted smile and wave to the secretary as they left the building the older boy released his brother's hand, sighing in relief. And to think he'd promised to show Katas their ship, that meant they weren't done with that weirdo just yet. "Weird...? How am I acting weird...?" Takeshi asked defensively, frowning a bit. He didn't think he was being strange at all, perfectly normal frankly. Shaking his head dismissively he slumped his hands into the folds of his pockets, coming to a halt once the two of them were back in the street.

"Of course I know where we're going this time," Takeshi said defensively, "Just... Give me a second to think, will you?" Shu was quick to ask for the plan, he'd barely even considered what they might do. They had two people to ask, with the third being someone they had already met. So really it was just S'uma and Ka'shra they needed to question. Taking his hands out and scratching at his head the Saiyan turned to face down the road, trying to see if he could pick out the building from where they were. "Well... We know where they are, and how to get to talk to them... But we need a way to ask them about the war? Hm..." This was harder than he'd like it to be, especially when they seemed to be so close to finishing it. "Well... Make small talk I guess. You know... Ask them how they think it's going. We could say something like... 'This war has to be expensive, who pays for it?'. I don't know... Have any ideas?"

"I never thought my home planet would be besieged by Saiyans, but yeah, I can see where you're coming from. Life's like that though... Things happen that you never expected, both good and bad." Vegeta knew that plenty well enough. He had his fair share of both tragedies and successes, and even if they had been difficult at times he didn't think he'd ever trade any of what happened. "There was a point where my life seemed as lousy as yours did. I thought I was basically done for. Things got better though, like they're about to for you three. You're going to get freedom for yourself and your families, and that's only the start." Smiling a bit Vegeta moved back to the window, looking out at Yumi and Choi thoughtfully while leaning against the counter. "For all the things I've endured, I wouldn't give any of it up, the good or the bad. It makes us who we are, right? Changing that would mean you lose yourself, and I'd never want that."

Feeling rather energetic Yumi was fairly keen on having the chance to expend some energy. A sparring match with a healthy person was bound to help her settle a bit, and the chance to get a tiny bit of redemption was still in her thoughts. "I'm pretty fast too you know!" Yumi replied, smiling happily as she skipped back to space herself and Choi apart. "And I won't hit hard either. I'd hate it if our match ended too early because you got a little bruise," she teased, "Now come and get me! Let's see what the little brother can do on his own!"
"Splendid! I do so look forward to seeing that ship of yours!" Katas exclaimed, near giddy again as he clasped his foremost hands together. "Space travel... Why we've been trying to achieve it for some years here, and we're close, I can feel it. Getting a glimpse at something already capable might just be what we need! But I'm getting off topic again, aren't I? Apologies boys." Smiling cheerfully the Kaesstrian dug into his desk, pulling out a small device that slightly resembled a remote before pointing it at an adjacent wall, and with a click a panel slid open to reveal a screen, a console folding out beneath it. "You'll be looking for a few people I'm afraid, but I know the top three backers of the war. I understand you've met out 'illustrious' general, so that makes two." Springing back up from his desk he went over to the console, starting to type away at the keys.

Takeshi watched the eccentric alien bounce about for a moment, relieved that the man would be preoccupied. Making a "He's crazy" gesture the older boy smiled knowingly, giving Shu a playful poke in his side while they waited. The Queen had conveniently left out the fact that her little informant just so happened to be manic, that would have been a much appreciated warning. It was an innocent insanity if there was such a thing, but still certainly puzzling. Either Katas put on a really good front normally or he had something going for him that made these people trust him, because a nutcase like this usually didn't get a position like he had.

"Aha! And here we are!" The boys would see two pictures come up on the screen, each having a fair bit of alien text along with their images. The figure on the left looked to be female, having a light brown almost tan complexion and dressed in a simple blue suit. The one on the left seemed to be an older Kaesstrian, if his longer features and silver hair was anything to go on. He wore what looked like a robe of some sorts, decorated in earthly colors. "Here we have Miss S'uma and Sir Ka'shra. The lady is a very wealthy member of this city and an avid proponent of the energy, as her family are the ones who developed those pillars you no doubt saw when landing here. Ka'shra on the other hand is a retired general and very much for the uniting of the planet, only he's willing to do it by any means it seems. These are the two you'll want to look into."
Takeshi left Shu's side as he walked up to the screen, stepping past Kasta to get a good look at the faces. S'uma and Ka'shra, he wasn't going to forget those names hopefully. Their faces were easier to commit to memory at least, so they knew who to look for. "Okay, we've got their names, but where the heck do we find them?" The city was a huge place after all, they definitely needed some sort of direction.

"Glad you asked my boy! I'll show you!" Bumping Takeshi to the side Katas went back to typing into the console, the images from the screen fading and the picture turning blue for a moment, sans text appearing on it. After a brief intermission a new image appeared, a map of the city. Pointing to one of the structures on it he explained, "That's where we are. You'll find S'uma here..." The building was due north of where they were now, only a few blocks away even. "And as for Ka'shra, he's over by the military district." Katas again gestured to another building, this one several blocks from the military headquarters, a bit closer to their temporary residence in fact. Turning to face the boys with a bright grin the Kaesstrian hit another button, the screen and console retracting back into the wall seemlessly. "Just tell them you were sent by me to ask for their presence. That'll get you in, and you boys use your sharp little minds to do the rest, okay?"

"Uh... Right! Thank you sir!" Takeshi replied, bowing hastily again. He'd definitely remember where they were heading this time, and who they were looking for. With enthusiasm renewed the Saiyan turned about and grabbed for the door, snatching up Shu's hand as well and pausing before opening it. "We'll show you the ship as soon as we're done here, I promise." Might as well add another thing to their infinite list of duties and chores. A bit eager to be out of that nuthouse of an office Takeshi dragged Shu out with him, closing the door before exhaling expasteradely. "Man... What a weirdo..." he mumbled, pocketing his hands and starting to walk back down the hall. "How about we take the stairs this time? We need to figure out how we're going to do this."

Katas smiled right up to the moment that the boys left. Once alone he relaxed in his chair, a faint smirk still on his features as he rested his head on a propped up hand idly. Such strange little creatures they were, he mused, quite powerful too by the sounds of it. Capable of flight without wings, intergalatic travel and able to fire strange energies, there was so much to their latest visitors. "My my... I'm going to have to learn more about you little Saiyans..." he mumbled, chuckling as he spun back around in his seat, standing up and folding his hands behind his back. Down below he spotted the boys exiting the building, watching them as they made their way back towards the street. "Do take care children, you're my ticket to making a breakthrough after all."

"Honestly? I figured you were single-minded brutes who enjoyed hurting people and fought for your own personal gain," Vegeta replied, looking over at Kai in turn and smiling faintly. "Glad to find I was wrong. You're just scared kids trying to do what they can in a lousy situation, so like I said, like us. Of course your problems are going to be over with pretty soon, we've got a ways to go I'm guessing." Did they still intend to bring down the king? That seemed the only logical choice, as anything else would mean they'd still be hunted. It was easier said than done though, especially considering how powerful that creep and his men were. They'd all have to train quite a bit in order to get anything done. "I have to ask... What do you plan to do after this? You guys staying here with your parents?"

Yumi couldn't help but giggle once more at Choi's reaction. It was like he'd never been kissed by a girl before, poor guy, and hers had been more patronizing than anything. "Well I appreciate the help Choi, really. And I take back what I said about your brother, I'm sure he's really not that bad." Kabocha on the other hand... Well, aside from being an idiot she supposed he wasn't terrible either. It was kind of like when she'd first met Takeshi, he had been gratingly frustrating. Now she enjoyed him being around, even if he did get slapped occasionally for the dumb remarks. Glancing back at the house and at Kai and Vegeta for a moment Yumi got an idea, nudging the boy at her side. "Do you want to spar? I've got too much energy to relax, and I want to see how you do one on one. It's kind of a grudge match honestly, but I want to fight someone."
Katas, despite being roused from a nap was very much energetic and lively. Certainly moreso now that he realized who his visitors were, they just weren't quite someone that he could turn away. Both boys seemed to have something to say to him, so with a restraint on himself the Kaesstrian listened dutifully. A bit surprised when the smaller one gave him a message the man sombered up for a moment, folding his hands behind his back as he walked towards the boy, glowering at him. "My mother is dead boy, you think that is funny?" he asked, watching as the elder Saiyan immediately stepped between them. Unable to help himself any longer Katas burst out laughing, clutching his abdomen and nearly falling backwards in the process. "Relax my boys, I know precisely what you mean! I was just having a little fun with you is all!" Stifling a case of the giggles the strange man walked to the door, closing and locking it before spinning about, cocking his head to the side curiously. "How is Eslaria? I haven't seen her in ages, I really should stop by..."

"Er... She's doing well sir..." Takeshi mumbled, still keeping himself between the Kaesstrian and Shu. Okay, this guy was certifiably crazy, or just plain odd. Seeing as he wasn't going to attack them though the older boy loosened up a little, straightening himself out and letting his arm drop back to his side. "Can we please get to why we're here? I don't mean to be rude, but we're kind of in a hurry."

"Why didn't you just say so my boy? If you're in a rush I wouldn't dare dream of keeping you!" Waltzing over to his desk Katas hopped up on top of it, crossing one leg over the other as he folded his arms together. "There are so many questions I could ask you, so many things I wish to know. But, if there is something from the Queen to be said then let's hear it, I'm all ears boys!"

How in the hell were they supposed to take this guy seriously? Takeshi managed to crack a faint smile, clearing his throat as he rubbed at the back of his neck. "We tried to, but uh... Never mind. We're trying to help bring this fighting to an end, and we've got to figure out who is behind it. Her Majesty said something about the 'corrupt one', but we have no idea who that might be. And... We were told you might know."

"Nope, not the faintest idea!" Katas exclaimed, smiling despite the surprised and downtrodden expression he got in reply. "But, I can tell you who is backing the war effort. If you dug enough I know you'll find who the head honcho is. I'd do it but keeping a front up here is difficult, especially with all these blasted public appearances, meetings, examinations... Oh how it bores me!" Dramatically falling off of the desk and right into his chair the Kaesstrian let out a breathy sigh, lifting a claw and scratching at his head. "I must ask first though... Everyone says you and your friends arrived here by spaceship. May... May I see it before you leave?"

Kabocha got back to his feet, still nursing the small bump now on his forehead. Narrowing his eyes as Choi joined in the laughter he gave an indignant huff, turning his nose up at the boy. "Doing the dishes isn't really my job, so no, I'm not going back to do it. And your brother doesn't need me to baby sit him, you know that as well as I do." Suddenly getting a smile on his face the Saiyan walked over to the younger twin, throwing an arm around his shoulders and pulling him down to whisper into his ear. "So... Did you get close to kissing her? And how the hell did you not get hit?"

"I can hear you, you know..." Yumi butt in, her eyebrow twitching in irritation as she drummed her fingers against her arm. That got Kabocha to back off of Choi, much to her relief, as it would be bad if the half-decent one was corrupted by a moron. "No one is getting a kiss from me. The only thing anyone will get is a slap upside the head for being an idiot, got that?" Exhaling softly to calm herself the Beastman walked back over to Choi, smiling mischeviously before getting on her toes and pecking his cheek, a stream of incoherent babbling coming from Kabocha in reply. "I will give you that though for helping settle things."

Back inside Vegeta had begun watching the scene unfold as well, hovering over Kai whether he knew it or not. It was funny to watch Yumi take charge of the situation, and scaring the crap out of Kabocha wasn't half bad either. When she leaned in and placed a kiss on Choi's cheek it was Vegeta's turn to feel a little irritated, managing a small smile as he nudged Kai. "If by some horribly unlikely chance your brother and her become a 'thing' you had best make sure he's nice to her, got that?" he said, looking back out the window. "And I hate to say it, but you guys are a lot like us in a way... It's strange..."
"Come on Shu, how bad can these people really be?" Takeshi asked, smiling reassuringly. "Besides, those guards said we had the right place, so why should we worry?" His brother was getting concerned all over nothing, he was sure of it. Knocking on the door the Saiyan waited for a moment, frowning slightly as no reply came. Giving his brother a curious look he knocked again to the same end, sighing to himself. Figuring to hell with it he grabbed the handle and pushed the door open, poking his head inside curiously. There was most certainly a man inside, or it seemed to be anyways as a large chair was turned with its back to them. "Er... Hello? Mr. Katas?" No reply yet again, this was getting annoying. Sighing to himself Takeshi walked into the room, going directly to the desk and slamming a hand down on it, blinking in surprise as there was a startled "Unh!" and the chair jostled. After a second it spun around, revealing a light toned Kaesstrian dressed in a purple suit jacket, a green undershirt and scarf showing around the neck. "Uh... Are you Mr. Katas?"

The Kaesstrian spun about to see who had come into his office, confused as to why someone had been allowed up during his nap. Giving the strange boy before him a glance for a moment he let out an odd, chittering-yawn sound as he stretched, nodding his head. "Yes, that's correct. And you'd also be correct in assuming you've ruined my afternoon nap." Katas mumbled, finally settling his hands on the table and looking back at the boys. For a brief moment he still looked confused before a wave of recognition washed over his face, lighting up and standing up from his chair abruptly. "Wait a moment, you two are the off worlders! Oh I've been simply dying to meet you two! Oh how delightful!"

"Uh... Yeah, we're from off world..." Takeshi replied, staring cluelessly at Katas. So this was supposed to be the Queen's ace in the hole, huh? "We're here to ask you a few questions, if you don't- Hey!" The Saiyan was put off a little as the Kaesstrian near jumped over the table, upon landing enveloping the older boy in a hug. Finally getting released Takeshi was left dumbstruck, watching as the man did the same to Shu in turn. This guy was nuts, or just plain weird, he didn't know which. "Sir...? Um... Could we please talk? It's rather important."

Katas released Shu soon enough, laughing lightheartedly. He was delighted to see what the commotion was over, and it appeared that it was Saiyans no less. Odd, he'd heard their numbers were greater than this, so perhaps these two were emissaries of sorts? Spinning around and near hitting Shu with his coattails as he did so the queer alien smiled at Takeshi, nodding his head and clasping his hands together. "Of course my boy, of course. Pardon my enthusiasm, there's just been such a buzz about you lately!"

"Everything was fine, don't worry about it. And I don't want anything from you, or your brother or Kabocha. I just want to be done with this and get back home, that's all. I miss everyone there, even our old pervert of a teacher." Choi probably had no idea about who Roshi was, assuming Takeshi had never brought the old hermit up. Maybe some time if they met again she'd tell him about it, as he was genuinely seeming less and less of a jerk as she spoke to him. Yumi smiled again as she folded her hands behind her back, reeling back on one heel while swinging her other leg idly. "But I'm okay now, and there's really no reason for us to keep butting heads if we're on the same side, right?" Extending a hand to the Saiyan she cocked her head to the side, trying to offer over a truce.

Kabocha couldn't believe it, how was that jerk near flirting with Yumi? "Oh that is a load of crap...!" he mumbled, pushing away from the window. Embarrassed he'd been shown up he stormed to the back door, nearly kicking it open as he pointed a finger accusingly at the twin once outside. "Okay, you win doofus, cut it out before you end up kissing her or something!" Kabocha shouted, red in the face. In a fit he neglected to account for a shoe flying his way, getting knocked right between the eyes and yelping as he clutched his forehead, squatting down and shooting Yumi an accusatory glance. "What?!"

There was an innate desire to yell at Kabocha for ruining a perfectly good moment, but something else took hold of Yumi. Seeing the Saiyan like that made her giggle breathedly before bursting into laughter, holding her sides as she did so. "Some Saiyan, beaten by a shoe!" she roared, pointing a finger at Kabocha with a wide smile. "And now I've got someone other than Takeshi to hit, so thanks for that!"
