"Yes, the Saiyans are quite cruel people indeed! At least those that follow Yamate's wicked rule. I too was once a servant of the tyrant, forced into servitude by his overwhelming ferocity, it was for the sake of my own people!" Leto exclaimed, balling his hands into fists and holding them up excitedly. "But then I was given a second chance by the Princes, and by Commander Korian and the beautiful Lieutenant Sayomi! They gave me a new lease on my life, and we're going to save my people from the empire! No longer will my brothers and sisters be forced to battle for anyone else! My people will know true peace once again!" At this point Leto had gotten fairly loud, and as soon as he finished talking a few workers shouted at him to keep his voice down, which he ignored of course. Looking back at T'charrl he smiled cheerfully he gestured for the Kaesstrian to continue along with him, heading right into the hangar. "These people are creating miracles, my young friend. There's nothing we cannot accomplish united." More than just workers were taking notice of his boisterous monologues, as two siblings soon made their way over to silence the Yulian loudmouth.

Ricken really didn't know what to make of this... Kaesstrian. He was a big bug, yet obviously more intelligent than just that. Kind of weird looking too, yet they probably looked strange to him in turn. All a matter of perspective, as after all he found Saiyans to be awfully strange as well. "T'charrl... That's a weird name... Definitely alien," he remarked, taking his hand back and folding his arms over his chest. Staring up at the Kaesstrian for a second he nodded in agreement, definitely thinking the common tongue had to be learned. "I can still hear you talking in... Whatever your language is. Frankly it's annoying to have to listen over it, but not unbearable."

"Seriously Ricken, try to be at least a little polite to him?" Sasha said sharply, glaring over at her twin brother.

"Why? He's not done anything for us. And I'm not going to befriend every single person, that would take much too long." Plus, with their going into battles now people were bound to die. Why befriend someone if they were only going to vanish the following day? Shaking his head Ricken turned to leave, starting to walk off towards the conjoining hall. "Like I said, welcome and all that. Just don't get too comfortable, especially since you're with the Princes. Korian's got a thing for them and their friends, fair warning."

Sasha sighed in annoyance, watching her brother off before glancing back at T'charrl. "Sorry, he's always like that, don't take it personally," she explained, bowing to him again. "Enjoy your stay here, hopefully we'll see you on the battlefield sometime!" Turning then she ran off after her sibling, having a good mind to smack him for being rude to the new alien.

Takeshi couldn't say why he was as bothered with this as he was. Just something about him always being the outlet of people's annoyance where Shu was only praised sort of ate at him. It wasn't a massively big deal, but enough to be a little tick. After speaking out on the matter he immediately regretted it, clamping his mouth shut when his brother seemed upset. Sure it bothered him, but that didn't mean he had to make Shu feel bad about it. Not like any of it was his fault anyways. "I didn't mean that Shu... Sorry..." he said softly, lowering his gaze a bit before sighing. "I just... Wish people liked me as much as they do you. I kinda just feel like I'm... Just along for the ride sometimes. That no one would really care whether or not I was here..." Again it went back to his innate fear of being forgotten or alone. Perhaps those around him, those he called friends only were pleasant with him because Shu was around. Maybe the way Viral treated him was how everyone really felt, and they were just being kind for his brother's sake. Feeling awfully down about that Takeshi sniffled a bit, looking ahead as he flew on towards the mountains. "I guess I'm just a little jealous, that's all."

Yumi felt a bit selfish for expressing problems. As if anything wrong with her could even remotely compare to the strife that Viral was having to endure himself. He was right, she really didn't have a lot that was truly wrong with her life. She could have a family someday if she so chose, and a child. She could love and grow older and watch her kid grow up. She'd have more relatives, and grandchildren, and already did have a family of her own. She was mortal, sure, but there was somewhat a charm to that fact, a charm that eluded Viral. So did the family, something that she knew all too well he desperately yearned for. There was no reason she should be moping, it wasn't fair to her friend. "No... You're right. I shouldn't be upset, things aren't really bad," Yumi said, smiling sadly as she looked at Viral. "Sorry for complaining, you don't need to hear that from me." It wasn't very fair of her to put her burdens on Viral anyways. He had far enough to deal with himself without somebody else coming to him with their own trivial issues. "When we get back I'll mention to Vegeta about getting some fish, we'll just make a tiny bit for you to try."
Leto was rather quickly retreating from his whole wanting to punch T'charrl faze. Very much still a soldier at heart he couldn't well help that he was prompted to fight who he saw as an enemy, it was basically natural for him. Having attacked a friend of the Princes however was unacceptable, he had to make it up to the alien. A simply apology was not enough, he deserved much more than that for such a transgression. Perhaps a feast, or some tremendous gift, something to bury the hatchet. "Perhaps a feast was a little overzealous..." the Yulian answered, rubbing at his chin thoughtfully. "But surely some food would be acceptable... Hm, yes! I'll get you a nice meal, then we can speak with my comrades! Surely they'll be eager to meet a friend of the Princes!" Together they walked around to the side of the rebel flagship, a large hatch on the side opened up with several small vehicles and groups of workers coming in and out. Leto led the Kaesstrian around everyone, bringing him right on inside. Compared even to the ship the group had just commandeered this craft was much larger. The hangar in of itself held about ten of those small transport vehicles like the one Shu and Takeshi had just taken off in. Needless to say it was the biggest ship in the entire fleet.

"There are quite a few men and women here, no? All working towards one common goal; freeing the universe from the Saiyan oppressors! Have you ever seen such a beautiful gathering of people before?" At this point in time quite a few alien races made up the rebel's fleet. Amongst the few Saiyan deserters there were Uuonian natives, a handful of Narbu soldiers, and a conglomerate of various other species. With all the differences it was certainly something to see everyone wearing the same uniforms, all united under a single agenda. Wiping at his eyes for a moment Leto cleared his throat, smiling at T'charrl. "So many homes disrupted and lives ruined by the Saiyans, so much damage has been done. Everyone here has been effected one way or another, and they've not joined together to put an end to it all. Truly a wondrous thing!"

"Leto? Aren't you supposed to be outside helping the crew?" Approaching the pair were two blue-skinned aliens, each dressed in combat armor. The boy had a messy nest of green hair atop his head, and when stood against Leto seemed fairly diminutive in size by comparison. The girl, who looked much like him, had her hair tied back in a ponytail and was slightly shorter than her male counterpart.

Leto looked over at the two newcomers, smiling cheerfully and putting an arm around T'charrl's shoulders. "I will be, but we've a guest! Ricken, Sasha, allow me to introduce T'charrl. He's a friend of the Princes, a companion of theirs as it turns out. One that I may have nearly punched..."

Sasha looked at T'charrl curiously for a moment, her eyes scanning him up and down curiously. "Pleasure to meet you, T'charrl..." she said politely, bowing her head a bit before looking back at him. "That's an odd name, pardon my saying. I've never seen anyone like you either..."

"We've never seen half of the races here, sister. That doesn't mean he needs any special attention," Ricken interjected, looking at T'charrl before extending a hand out. "All the same however, welcome. Always nice to know we've got more allies in this fight."

Takeshi was a little too eager to get out of there. Every time something went wrong it seemed like he was the one getting hit. Thank goodness he was durable, otherwise he'd probably be in a coma by this point. In spite of not having used such a vehicle in a while he had a fairly easy time of controlling the ship, so long as he avoided the more complex controls. Flying in a straight line was simple enough, but if they had to maneuver then it was going to be an awfully bumpy ride. "And what... They don't like me?" Takeshi asked, frowning as he glanced over at Shu. "And I'm not always angry, you know... So I doubt that's why..." Shu was often the favorite though, and it was something that the older boy had never put much thought into. Frankly he just didn't care enough to bother with it, it didn't matter to him too much. Now that it was on his mind he couldn't well come up with a reason. Looking back at Shu then Takeshi stared for a moment, trying to get what it was. After unsuccessfully coming up with anything he scoffed, looking ahead and leaning back in his seat a bit. "Don't take this the wrong way... But I don't see why everyone adores you. I mean you're awesome and all, but some people treat you like you're perfect. I don't get it." Then again he sort of did the same thing, always giving Shu a nice treatment. Perhaps the little guy just had a way of making people like him.

"We can try fish then, if you'd like! I bet we've got some on the ship somewhere, or we can even look around here. I bet there's a body of water somewhere if we just looked." Not that they were quite in a state to go exploring. It would have to be a little later on, and that was if they remained on this world much longer. Surely if they could get enough fish prepared then Viral would have a little bit, and then perhaps that would in turn lead to eating more. Looking at the Beastman for a moment when he voiced his question Yumi only shrugged, not sure how to reply immediately. "Sure... Plenty of times, I guess," she answered, reaching up and itching at one of her ears. "A lot lately I feel just kind of out of it with everything that's gone on. It's all happening so fast, and I don't know where it'll all end, or how it'll all end. It's exhausting, really." Life had been so incredibly simple before the Saiyans had ever separated their group. Before she had met Shu and Takeshi, or Master Roshi, before their journey together. No, that wasn't right, she didn't regret any of that. Smiling sadly Yumi glanced at Viral, absentmindedly rubbing one of her hands now. "Things are going to get better though, they just have to. I keep telling myself that and it's been enough to keep me going lately," she explained before looking away, frowning slightly. "I just don't know for how much longer it'll work..."
"So you're helping one another? No doubt in a manly pursuit to protect the weak and to navigate the stars!" Leto exclaimed. Releasing T'charrl for a moment he struck a pose, looking at the Kaesstrian sternly. "You are among the ranks of the rebellion now, the manliest assortment ever to travel the universe! We're fighting for freedom, and for the well-being of all of our fellow people! Truly you are a young man of character if you've decided to partake in our conquest for good! I salute you!" And indeed he did salute, crossing one arm over his chest and standing rigid, the other arm folded behind his back. After holding that pose for a moment Leto finally reached out, grabbing T'charrl's arm again and dragging him towards the main rebel ship. "But I digress! The mention of food seems to have stirred something within you, as any true man would be excited at the prospect of a feast! While your friends do what they must let me show you around! There's some people I would like you to meet as well, some very good people!"

"Can do Vegeta, we'll be quick about it." Takeshi replied, smiling as he went to climb into the ship. They could get their friends' location with the scouter, and from there it was a simple matter of getting them on board and flying back. Just as he was climbing into the cockpit Shu felt it was prudent to share some more information on just what Yumi and Vegeta had been up to. Almost feeling the glare piercing through him the older boy paused in his step, looking over his shoulder with a meek smile. Getting grabbed by his shirt and yanked off Takeshi quickly put his hands up defensively, expecting to be hit. "They're fine though, honest!"

"You had them go after a god...? Viral, in his weakened state, and Yumi...?" Vegeta repeated, narrowing his eyes at Takeshi. Getting a nod in reply he let out a lengthy, irate sigh, releasing his friend and pinching the bridge of his nose, closing his eyes. "If it weren't for the fact you're going to be flying I'd probably smack you with a wrench right now. Just... Hurry up and get them back here, will you?"

Takeshi really didn't need any more incentive to get moving, though Vegeta's annoyance was definitely hastening things along. Nodding again the Saiyan climbed into the ship, waiting until Shu had gotten in along with him before sealing the doors. Looking around at the controls it took him a moment to get reacquainted with everything, not having flown in a little while now. There were a ton of things he wasn't going to need, all he had to use were the thrusters and the controls themselves. With Vegeta well clear from things he turned the engines back on, aiming the thrusters downward and slowly lifting them off the ground. Then, taking another moment Takeshi used the scouter to pinpoint Viral and Yumi, locking in on their signal with his own scouter. Easing the stick forward the ship began to fly off in that direction, making a steady pace to their friends. Looking over his shoulder at Shu he frowned a bit, "Hey... How come no one ever hits you when things happen?"

"I guess we really don't know until you try eating..." Yumi remarked, frowning as she rubbed her hands together. "Since you haven't eaten since then I can't really guess. But... Maybe instead of triggering it, food is what you need to feel in control again? Having something in your stomach must help at least a little." She really wished there was a way she could console him over the whole Saiyan eating episode. Admittedly it was awfully unsettling, just because of how violent it must have been to eat someone alive... Or presumably alive. Nevertheless Viral wasn't seen as a monster for it, and certainly wasn't going to be shunned. "If you're worried about blood... What if we find some kind of seafood? I mean it's usually red meats that bleed, so fish should be okay. And... We can cook it enough so it doesn't bleed at all anyways. We can season it too, so you don't taste anything but the seasoning, then you won't even have to think about it!"
Leto stared up at the alien curiously, a bit perplexed by what he was saying. Since he had a scouter it all came through just fine, but the whole "from another planet" had him wondering. The Yulian too was from another world, but he'd been picked up back on Uuonoe, as a prisoner essentially. He didn't see the Princes as the type to keep prisoners, meaning this was as Takeshi said, a friend. Smiling cheerfully then he picked himself up off of the ground, refraining from hugging the potentially bristly alien in favor of giving him a very manly thumbs up. "Splendid! A friend of the boys is a friend of ours! I do apologize for trying to bludgeoning you a moment ago! Had I known better I would never have dreamt of such a transgression." Allies were valuable of course, and he would never dream of doing anything that would jeopardize their allegiance with another fighter. After his apology was over Leto looked at the trio again, smiling brilliantly as he flexed his muscles. "Now that you children are here you can help with your ship! And we've much to discuss, it's been a while!"

Having a lengthy discussion of any kind with Leto was somehow... Off putting. Takeshi really didn't think he could handle the man's eccentric behavior, however good-willed it may be. Graciously it seemed like they weren't going to have to either, as soon enough their shuttle was rolling on out of the back of their larger craft. Smiling gratefully he got up to his feet, looking at T'charrl and giving him a small slap on the back. "So here's the plan then. I'm going to fly the ship, and Shu will come with me to help get Yumi and Viral on board. I figure that way you can relax here, maybe grab some food, chat with some people," he said, looking at Leto for a moment and barely suppressing a smirk. "You can keep him company for a few minutes, right? We just need to go pick up our friends is all, we'll be back before you know it."

"But of course, anything for you boys! I will gladly see to it that your friend is well kept!" Smiling at T'charrl and reaching out to grab one of his arms Leto began to pull him away, heading towards their own ship where the work was being done. If the Kaesstrian was to look then he'd see the tears streaming down the Yulian's face, a fist clenched and held at chest-level. "You are so fortunate to know a group like this. You are among the greatest souls in the universe, they would do anything for one another! Truly you have been blessed!" he declared, much to the chagrin of workers around him. "Tell me... T'charrl... What brings you into our fold?"

Takeshi felt fairly bad for sticking T'charrl with Leto, but they really did need to get moving. Waving sympathetically to their friend as he was dragged off the Saiyan went to his brother, getting him to his feet and gesturing to the ship. Taking hold of Shu's hand then he tugged him along, going right up to the pilot's hatch where Vegeta was just climbing out. Noting the grease and other bits all over their friend he raised an eyebrow in question, finally releasing Shu's hand once they were at the door.

"What, never seen someone covered in grease before?" Vegeta asked, raising an eyebrow as he dusted his hands off his shirt. "When you get back call me, I'll get a room set up for them and we'll see what's wrong with them, okay?"

Yumi frowned at the failed attempt to get Viral to eat, though she wasn't terribly surprised by it. Were it that easy then he'd not be in the predicament that he was in now. Sighing softly she gave a small nod of her head, moving to her friend's side and sitting, tucking her legs to one side. "But... It's not like you're hurting anything by eating. Especially if you eat fruit, or bread or something. Plus, maybe just take it slowly? A small portion, a few bites even. Then see how that sits, and if it's okay then maybe a bit more," she suggested, smiling hopefully. "You definitely don't have to go right in and have a whole feast, we can work up to that. Small steps at a time." Maybe that was in part the problem, trying to find instant fixes or solving things in one go. It had to be a process, Yumi figured. Unfortunately even if that were the case she was still clueless as to what the process actually was.
As if Takeshi needed to hear some kind of justification from Shu. There may well be plenty good reasons to groom, but the actual act of doing so just put him off a little much. Of course the younger boy just had to twist his arm, making it clear that he wanted the older boy's help in doing things. Caught between his own personal dislike for bugs and his wanting to help Shu the Saiyan decided to change the subject, removing himself from the conversation as he tried to get in touch with Vegeta. "They sounded tired, but that's it. Knowing them they've got to be fine," Takeshi remarked, looking in the direction of their ship. "Both of them are stubborn if nothing else, so it'll take a ton to really do them in." Or, as memory served, a protruding piece of metal, or an angry Saiyan rebel. Those were random circumstances, Viral could definitely handle more than those situations showed. Takeshi then wasn't all that concerned with their well being, knowing that even if they were tired it meant they were probably fine.

It took a second to hear back from Vegeta, which was a bit curious seeing as what the matter was. "Yeah, uh... Now don't be mad but we kind of need to borrow the shuttle." Takeshi frowned when there was silence on the other end, looking between T'charrl and Shu confused to see if maybe the line was dead. Hearing Vegeta clear his throat he then knew to go on. "Yumi and Viral went out to fight, and they might be kind of... Sorta hurt. So if you can be a pal and bring the shuttle out we'll go get them and bring them back. I promise it's nothing bad, they're just tired!" He added the last bit quickly, more or less to save his own skin. There was a simple sigh on the other side before the line was cut, and Takeshi was left standing there with a puzzled look on his face. Vegeta had sounded fairly reluctant to help out, heaven knows why. He'd figure the guy would jump at a chance to help out Yumi and Viral, must be busy with something big then. Either way the ship was going to be brought out, and the three of them could get a move on.

"Princes! I knew I had seen you earlier!"

Takeshi jumped a bit as they were suddenly yelled at, not knowing where in the world that had come from. It took him a second to realize who had shouted, and when he turned around to look he was abruptly lifted off his feet and into a rather tight hug. Gasping in surprise he squirmed a little in Leto's grasp, trying to wriggle free with his arms being pinned to his side and all. "L-Leto... Nice to see you too..." he managed out, looking up at the massive man. "Air... Need air..."

Leto smiled apologetically as he set Takeshi on his feet, not having meant to compact the boy like that. He was just rather happy to see the two he owed his new life to, as he always probably would be. "Apologies, Prince! I was just so ecstatic to see my saviors and I just had to come over and say hello! And what better than a manly bear hug to do it?" Chuckling to himself for a moment the Yulian then at last noticed a rather large bug standing fair close to him. For a second he simply stared at T'charrl, not sure what to make of him. Then, in perhaps a slight misjudgement he slammed his fists together, going to punch the Kaesstrian. "Look out young sirs, one of the natives have slipped into our base!" Throwing said punch then he was surprised when he hit Takeshi, stopping immediately and getting a fairly worried look as he stared at the boy laid out on the ground. "Are you alright Takeshi...?"

"Eh... Yeah... Totally fine..." Takeshi grumbled, still splayed out idly. He'd managed to take that hit right to the noggin, and as a result he was seeing plenty of stars at the moment. Laughing weakly he pushed himself into a sitting position, rubbing his head with a wince before looking up at Leto. "And what did you try hitting him for?! He's a friend!"

Leto blinked in surprise, giving T'charrl another look before immediately kneeling down and bowing before him. "Oh! Forgive me then, I was wrong! A man always admits his mistakes, and I'll do so right this instant! Forgive me stranger, I did not know you were an ally! A thousand pardons!"

"Your body isn't too weak. You took a huge hit and all you have is a dislocated shoulder. That's some pretty good defense if you ask me." Yumi then paused a moment, eying the cut on Viral's forehead before gesturing to it with a small smile. "And... That. But considering how strong that thing was it's amazing this is all that happened. And you're already conscious, so... That's something right?" Back to trying to find the bright side of an unfortunate event, this wasn't bound to go well. When they finally got back to the ship Viral was going to need to get his arm properly fixed and his head looked at. Using a tank for those seemed a little extreme, so it was probably bandages and a sling for him then. Not knowing where his mind was at the present Yumi gave her friend a hopeful smile, leaning forward a little bit. "How about when we get back we get you patched up and then we can eat something? I mean you've got to be hungry at this point, and we've got food to spare right now. I can cook whatever you want, that much I can definitely do!" Yumi was determined to make things up for lousing up the shoulder business, and this seemed like a safe way to do it... If Viral was going to eat yet.
Takeshi really didn't want to talk about bugs any longer, it was grossing him out. Eating them, playing with them, he didn't care what it was, he didn't want to do it. From now on they would eat regular food stuffs, the only way Shu would get a bug was by sneaking it. Upon landing on the ground the older boy promptly let his sibling go, a shiver crawling up his spine reflexively as he wondered if any bugs had crept onto him at this point. Turning then and admonishing Shu for being dirty he was ultimately just left exasperated as words were lost on the young boy. Letting out a soft sigh Takeshi rubbed at his head, pondering how best to explain scrubbing to Shu before abandoning it altogether. "We just need to get you clean, plain and simple. Once we do that then you won't have any more bugs crawling around on you!" That's just how it should be after all, they didn't need critters in their bed while they slept.

"I don't know T'charrl... Maybe?" Takeshi shrugged his shoulders, not having the faintest idea how to answer their friend. "We really don't know where they all are, or if there are more. Considering what they can do we could be standing on one right now," he added, shrugging and scuffing his foot along the dirt to make a point. "I guess all we can do is get rid of the ones we find, yeah? Since we know nothing about them we can't really hunt them down." They still didn't even know what the creatures were for that matter. All they had was a name that the natives here had given them, and goodness knows what it meant in their language, no one had thought to ask. All they had were some loose ideas on abilities and an appearance, not a ton to go off of. "Not for nothing too, but we've gotta get Viral and Yumi back here, so let's worry about them first." Glancing across the area towards their ship Takeshi was a bit disappointed to see rebels everywhere, really not wanting anything to do with them at the moment. Luckily Vegeta was inside, all they would have to do is get a hold of him and then they could be off. "Vegeta?" he asked, pressing the button of his scouter, "You there?"

Vegeta tossed aside another wrench, sliding himself out from beneath the control panel he'd been tinkering with. While the bulk of the workers were busily refacing the ship he and Sayomi were handling rewiring. Rigging all the systems to one on a single, unified interface would definitely be handy, it meant one didn't have to run across the craft just to open a door. Putting in a new set of programs too, courtesy of the rebels, gave them some useful tools that would no doubt benefit them, such as a radar jammer. All in all he was having a blast, this was just the kind of work he enjoyed doing. Learning the ins and outs of these machines gave him plenty of ideas for Capsule Corps as well once they finally got home. There were some genuinely intuitive and unique bits here that he could definitely... Borrow, from the Saiyans. Grabbing a cloth off the console he dabbed his face dry, and as he was doing so he heard his scouter chime to life. Looking over at it lying on the far end of the room Vegeta sighed, walking over and picking it up, holding it to his ear. "I'm here, what is it?"

Yumi shrugged her shoulders, figuring she was being a little silly over the whole thing. It only made sense that Viral's shoulder had popped out, it must have been a nasty hit after all. Actually, the sheer fact that only his shoulder had been dislocated was a testament to how well he was healing, it was definitely an improvement. Shaking her head then she managed a small smile, folding her own hands across her lap. "If I could do anything else I would, believe me. I can see I've done all I can though." Who knows though, maybe she did have some weird new Beastman healing powers. Turning her hands over she stared intently down at her palms for a moment, trying to draw forth energy that might work for such a purpose. The only thing she had was Ki though, and in such short order she decided it was best not to use it for anything. "Yeah... Definitely don't have healing powers..." she mumbled, giving a shake of her head. Shame, that could be awfully handy if she had them.
When Shu wriggled on his brother's back it did a fair good job of emulating a bug. As a result Takeshi's skin crawled quite a bit, and his face paled considerably as she scrunched up his shoulders a bit on reflex. "Food... Shouldn't... Wriggle!" he answered through clenched teeth. His brother just had to continue to talk about bugs, to the point where the elder boy actually had to stave off a little bit of bile that threatened to come up. Nothing he had ever eaten was as off putting as the idea of eating bugs, and he had eaten some properly strange foods over the years. Nothing he had eaten would squirm in his mouth though, or while going down. At T'charrl's behest the Saiyan sniffed the air around them, trying to pick up any odors that might have gotten his friend's attention. There was definitely the smell of fuel, probably from one of the rebel ships, and plenty of other smells that were native to this world. Aside from that however there was nothing that really needed too much attention. They were nearing the encampment now, it was finally in view, so they were liable to find out just what it was soon enough anyways. "Smelly? Says the kid with dirt and muck all over him!" Takeshi snapped, getting red in the face out of embarrassment.

Hearing that it was the creature who had slipped away made Takeshi worry some. If it was this close to their ships then it could well be on board one without anyone's knowledge. If that was the case then they had to search for it. As T'charrl said well enough they didn't want to leave it alive, it was too dangerous. In agreement Takeshi began to steadily descend, coming to a landing just outside the area where the ships were landed. Almost dropping Shu off of his back then he turned around, leaning over and poking his brother in the nose, his eyebrows pulling together. "When we're done here YOU are taking a shower Shu. I don't care if someone needs to scrub you clean, but we're making sure there's nothing else crawling around on you." If they were going to continue sleeping together than his brother absolutely had to be clean. Takeshi wondered how many bugs had crawled around while they were sharing a bed as they had done so many times before. Shuddering at the idea he turned around, stalking off towards the ships hastily.

"I know... But wouldn't you rather at least have me try instead of leaving it like this?" Yumi retorted, frowning a bit. It was worth a try if nothing else, and she didn't feasibly see how she could make it worse. With the go ahead from Viral then she went about remedying the problem, or trying to anyways. After dislocating the shoulder she carefully maneuvered the bone, managing to pop it back into its socket properly this time around. Obviously it had caused some discomfort for Viral, and continued to do so right up until it was finished. Smiling a little proudly at what should be a job well done she moved her hands back, giving Viral a hopeful look. Well the arm was back in place, but there was a slight hiccup in her help. "What do you mean you can't feel your fingers?" Yumi repeated, her eyes widening a bit as she looked at Viral's arm. Hesitantly she reached out, grabbing his paw and prodding at it with her finger, hardly the doctor. "Can you not feel that? At all?" Okay, she might have completely messed up then. Now Vegeta was going to be properly pissed when he found out. Biting her lip she set Viral's arm down, entwining her fingers nervously and looking at him. "Sorry... I guess I didn't help much did I?"
Takeshi just shook his head, refusing to be swayed into considering bugs as a normal food. Ignorance on his part, he wouldn't even buy into Shu's logic of it being normal for some people, like the little Saiyan for instance. There wasn't a single way, be it barbecued, raw, candied, whatever you could think of couldn't make eating a bug appealing. He'd sooner cook up his own clothes and eat those... Probably. "But it's not even as if you cook them, Shu," the older boy continued, looking back at his brother over his shoulder. "You eat them raw, while they're all wriggly and stuff. Doesn't it feel... Weird? Gross? Having them go in like that? And they must wriggle while they go down too... Ugh... I think I'm gonna retch..." Takeshi looked to T'charrl a bit puzzled when he mentioned a smell, having not even remotely noticed anything as of yet. Sniffing at the air as they flew to try and pick something up he frowned at the absence of noticing anything, wondering why that might be. "What are you talking about...? I can't smell anything, can you Shu?"

Yumi wanted to make amends for what she had done, even if she didn't exactly know what that was. If she'd wronged Viral in any way though she had to make it right, lest her guilt drive her insane later on. When he agreed then to let her help she was elated, a smile creeping across her lips as she nodded, moving closer to him. "I know I can do it, I had to a couple of times on my classmates..." she pointed out, smiling sheepishly. Quite a few students in schools had come to avoid her during sparring sessions, a kick or punch from her could potentially have meant a dislocated or even broken arm or leg if she didn't mind herself. Placing one hand on Viral's shoulder and the other on his arm she looked at him gently, giving a shake of her head. "I'm not going to rip your arm off, don't be silly. Why would I do something like that?" Yumi asked, looking back at the shoulder, "Now this is going to sting a bit, I'll try to be quick." Running her hand over the shoulder first she felt a definite bump, no doubt the bone was out of place. Grabbing hold of Viral's arm then she counted down from three, giving it a yank and slipping it back out of the socket. Then, carefully lining it up as best she could she eased it back into place, hearing a faint pop almost as it settled in. It probably hurt like sin, but it should be set now. Exhaling softly Yumi sat back onto her backside, giving Viral a hopeful smile. "Better...? Sorry if it hurt a lot."

The engineers really weren't too certain how they should be taking the display Leto was putting on. Rebels and members of the Princes' crew alike were now gathered around the large Yulian, watching as he meticulously pounded the creature into the ground time and time again. Even with his impressive strength Leto didn't seem to be able to kill it no matter how much he struck the thing, albeit he definitely was hurting it. Each time it got up it was slower than before, and even once or twice it tried to slip off, only to be grabbed and dragged back. In a way it was almost comical, seeing the beast flounder about. It was definitely odd, save for the engineers no one had seen one before and figured it to be a native creature of this world.

"Had enough yet, foul beast?!" Leto shouted, sending the creature flying once more with a great punch. At this point his hands were becoming fairly sore, his knuckles reddening from the continual strikes. His skin was tough enough not to tear from the beast's skin, but it was still awfully abrasive. Not willing to back down just from some slight discomfort the Yulian was determined to finish this brawl, one way or another. Watching the creature struggle to get up yet again he began to throw some shadow punches, keeping his body limber and ready to go on. Whilst doing so he got a little bit of a surprise in that the creature was gathering energy in its mouth, and by the time he noticed it was already fired at him. Doing the only thing he could to help it he braced himself, holding his hands out to try and catch the blast. When it hit his hands it exploded, covering him in a cloud of dust as those gathered behind him scrambled for cover. Leto couldn't see a thing inside the dust cloud, and his ears rang slightly from the explosion that had gone off. He couldn't see the monster charging up at him either, only knowing where it was when it punched onto him, knocking the Yulian to the ground. A bit caught off guard Leto quickly reached up, catching the monster by the neck as it reached down, its mouth snapping furiously to try and get a bite of him.

Once more the monster was primed to get a meal, and a bit one at that. And once more it was to be denied any sort of food. Intent on eating this large man it was utterly clueless to another figure approaching, which considering the casual nature of their approach it was a huge oversight. Only when it was quite literally smacked upside the head and knocked off onto its back did it realize someone else had joined the fight. Looking up it spotted another Saiyan, standing over him and not looking at all pleased. Starting to growl the creature instead yelped as it was kicked quite hard in the side, being launched up into the air as a result. Tumbling around helplessly it only just managed to see the Saiyan race up after it, flailing about haplessly to try and keep him at bay. Just as easily as it had been knocked up was the creature knocked back down, being kicked straight into the dirt below and creating a small pit on impact. The force of the strikes and impact alone left it in a daze, not knowing where in the world it was. It would get a wake up call however in the form of a pipe being thrust into its chest, courtesy of Leto. Roaring angrily the creature squirmed in its place, beginning to disintegrate at a quick pace with such a mortal wound. It only took mere seconds for it to vanish entirely, the faint sound of it growling carrying off with the wind.

"The wildlife here is very unmanly!" Leto declared, grabbing the pipe and yanking it back out of the ground. Examining it carefully he was surprised by the lack of any bodily fluids, and even more so by the lack of them in the hole. Coupled with the fact the creature had literally vanished and he had utterly no clue as what had happened. Shaking his head in bewilderment Leto handed over the pipe to one of the nearby workers, ignoring the fact that it was probably too heavy for him as he looked to Korian. "With all due respect sir I had that under control. I appreciate the assistance, but I was just finishing up with the beast."

"You were just about to become its snack, if I saw rightly," Korian pointed out, taking a turn too at looking at the hole. "And we've got a schedule to keep, Leto. I don't doubt you could have handled that, but we can't afford to spend too much time here. As it stands we're wasting too much just helping the Princes..." If they planned on making it to the next planet today they would have to wrap things up quickly. The longer they were helping the boys the longer people were in trouble, and that bothered him to no end. Walking back towards the flagship he sent one last curious glance to the crater, a good few questions coming to mind about that beast. Korian would look into it later, right now he had a ship to build.

"Er... So I'll just... Do what sir?" Leto called, watching as his commander simply went back to the Princes' ship to work. Letting out a soft sigh he dusted his hands off, looking around for some work to do. Seeing all the workers still standing there the Yulian frowned, clapping his hands together and pointing to the ships. "You heard Korian men, we're on a schedule! Let's finish up here so we can go help people!"
Shu raised a fair point, it was probably not wise to try and handle Viral on their own. Depending on the injuries only someone who was medically trained should do it, and that fell to Vegeta. No doubt there were rebels who could do it, but considering the state of relationships that was a path best avoided. For the sake of everyone's own sanity it was best they keep to themselves, which with Korian around again was easier said than done. "We'll see if Vegeta is done playing with his new toys, maybe he can give us a hand," Takeshi joked, smiling faintly. Truth be told he was a bit eager to see what was done to the ship, excited at the very prospect of it actually being theirs now. It likely wouldn't change too much, a few tweaks here and there and a fresh coat of paint, but still, it would be theirs. Looking across to T'charrl for his input the decision seemed to be obvious, they had to head back to camp. Hopefully they could get what they needed and get out without too much distraction. And hopefully Vegeta wasn't going to freak out at having both Yumi and Viral laying off somewhere injured. "And I am not afraid of bugs!" Takeshi added suddenly, picking up just now on what his brother had said. Frowning he looked down at the ground, wrinkling his nose before grimacing. "I just don't want to eat them... I'll stick to normal food."

Even with Viral's assistance Yumi had no recollection of what he was describing. Everything between those two points was blank, and she swore she was passed out the entire time. If she wasn't though then why in the world couldn't she recall any of it? That was a terrifying prospect, one that made her skin crawl uncomfortably. So did she transform like the others, did she have a new side to her? If she weren't so unsettled by it she might think to ask, but would prefer not to know now. Spending a few distressing moments in silence she finally looked back at Viral, moving closer and eying his shoulder. "I do know how to fix it... If you'll let me..." she said gently, keeping their eyes from meeting shamefully. "If I'm the one that did it then please let me make it right? Then Vegeta can fix you up the rest when we get back. I swear I'll do it as gently as I can." Right about now she just wanted to slink off into a hole somewhere and curl up. Faced with the potential other side of her, a side she couldn't even remember and that had apparently hurt Viral and she was all in a panic. It was all Yumi could do right now not to freak out on the spot, her heart racing frantically inside her chest.

After securing the barrel onto the cart the engineer climbed back into the driver's seat. With one final check to make sure it was good he lifted the platform up slowly, swinging the vehicle around to head back towards the ships. In the process of doing so he managed to clip something that made the vehicle bounce a little, and out of confusion he looked around, having sworn he heard a noise as well. Seeing nothing present however he shrugged it off, starting to drive merrily towards his job. Unbeknownst to him the creature was still lingering where it had surfaced, only now it was nursing a fairly sore head. Getting smacked in the face gave it a moment to recuperate, and with senses back it slid around once more, following the vehicle operator. Closing in on the alien it was very clear that attacking him alone wasn't going to be an option any longer, there were far too many others around now. Well, not a complete loss, they all looked like easy prey. Deciding to hell with it then the beast sprung up out of the ground, a bit awkwardly as it was still missing a leg and its vision a little blurred. With a roar it began to charge after the vehicle, grabbing the attention of those in the area. Startled the driver climbed out of the vehicle, diving away just as it was rammed by the monster. Startled the engineer turned over, crawling backwards away as the beast moved towards him. Watching it open its mouth and being faced with the pit that was its maw all the color drained from the alien's face, and he quickly covered his head with his arms in a feeble attempt to hide himself.

Just one bite and it would heal, that's all it needed. Not that it intended to stop there, no, it wanted to devour the entire crew. With its meal at last in sight the creature leaned down, just barely getting the engineer's head in its wide open mouth. One second it was about to take a bite, and the next it was flat on its back, having a rather sore head to boot. Baffled it looked up, making out the figure of a rather massive, and shirtless, man. Getting over its confusion it let out an angry roar, only to whine when its snout was punched, alarmingly hard. Rolling over on its back it scampered away a little, turning to face the large being, crouching low and growling angrily.

Leto watched the creature skit away, keeping himself firmly in place between it and the retreating crew. "How dare you attack defenseless people! That is a most cowardly thing to do!" he exclaimed, flexing as he did so. "Beast or not, I'd like to think you have SOME honor, but it seems I was mistaken! You're nothing but a coward and a monster! And now I must put you down in the name of all that is good in this world!" Up to his usual antics Leto was painfully unaware of the crew behind him, which had stopped to watch his display with a mixture of befuddlement and amusement. Even the creature had a confused look on its face, not quite understanding what was going on anymore. "I will give you one chance to atone, foul beast! Leave here and never come back!" At that cue the monster began to charge forward, growling furiously as it opened its mouth again. Trying to grab a bite it was instead punched away once more, getting knocked back and tumbling over and over a few times before finally settling. "Fine then, I'll let my fists show you out!"
With no small degree of relief did Takeshi watch his brother not eat the insect, smiling graciously at that fact. Seeing T'charrl then take off into the air he looked back to Shu, already expecting to be asked to carry him. "You'd better not..." he remarked, narrowing his eyes slightly before turning around. Waiting until the last goodbyes had been shared the older boy helped Shu up onto his back, slipping his arms under the Saiyan's legs and flying off after their friend. Hopefully between himself and T'charrl they had the means to carry everybody back after the ordeal. By the sounds of it both Yumi and Viral were hurt, so extra care would be needed when transporting them. They would have to carry their friends in such a way to not hurt them further, which if they had to transport two people at once that was no easy task. "Maybe we should stop by the ship and get someone to help...?" Takeshi suggested, looking off in the direction of their ships. No reason to make their friends be in any more pain than they were already. Though the more he figured that the worse an idea it seemed. The longer they sat there the more potential danger they'd be in, injuries or otherwise. Best then to keep moving along to try and help them then.

Once the channel was closed Yumi removed the scouter from her ear, sighing abysmally as she held it in her lap. This hadn't turned out anywhere near how she'd wanted, it was an utter failure. Yes they had won, but she'd hoped that Viral would be happy by the end, having triumphed over a foe. Instead he just seemed even more upset than before about things, the exact opposite of what she had hoped to gain. After staring down the cliff for a moment she finally moved herself from the ledge, looking at Viral as she sat a little ways from him. "What did I do...? How did I hurt your arm...?" she asked, finally having to voice her confusion. "I... I don't think I did anything, did I? I remember seeing you get hit, then I was hit, and when I woke up everything was collapsing. What else happened...?" Viral was firmly holding to his claim that she had done him wrong, and yet there wasn't anything she could recall that may make that even remotely true. Perhaps before passing out she had inadvertently hurt him, she didn't know. Frankly not knowing was making her rather uneasy too, wanting desperately to know just what her friend was talking about.

The creature was trying to make its way back to its master, desperate to be healed so it could continue its fighting. While its partner might be dead it could always get another, and they would be able to take down the pesky aliens. Maybe two partners, just to be safe. There was strength in numbers after all, and they had barely been able to conquer just two. The impromptu retreat had the beast finding itself in an open field surrounded by hills and valleys, a little exposed for its liking. Sliding along as it was however it should stay well out of sight of anybody and return to the temple in one piece. Just as it crossed over a smaller crest its plans changed, the smell of flesh rousing its senses and making it stop where it was. Easing just its head out of the ground it looked ahead curiously, surprised to see ships landed in a loose cluster and many people wandering about. Surely it could slip in and get just one, then it would be healed and ready to fight again. Looking between those it could spot they all seemed fair weak, either the standard soldier or small, unimposing beings dressed in jumpsuits. Growling excitedly at the prospect of an easy meal it slid back into the dirt, moving along steadily to the ships.

Progress on modifying the Saiyan ship was going pleasantly fast. With so many hands working both on the interior and exterior the job would be done in no time, and the Princes would have a vessel all their own... With some rebel adjustments as well. On the outside the crew was busily working on both repainting the hull and removing the insignia, wanting the ship to be recognizable only in shape. The craft itself was to be painted a dark red, not quite crimson but fairly dark still. The actual application of paint was a little impromptu, they were thick liquids and red dyes to substitute for paint, and at least it seemed to be working. Several small vats were filled with the substance, and the empty ones were beginning to pile up steadily as a result. As one of said vats was emptied an engineer working with a small forklift-like vehicle grabbed hold of it, dropping it off in the pile before heading to the full containers by the edge of the encampment for another. Lowering the lift itself he slipped the platform right underneath, but had to get out to settle it properly before actually picking it up. Climbing out of his vehicle the engineer placed his hands on the bin, carefully pushing it towards the back of the platform to make sure it was steady. So engrossed in his work the alien failed to notice a black sludge coming towards him, sliding across the grassy ground noiselessly.
