Bio

Well hello.

I guess I should introduce myself, huh.

I'm Gardevoiran, just some schmuck going to college and working towards getting a degree in Fine Arts.

I do commissions and what-not, and you can ask me to do a commission for you through my Discord (Gardevoiran #1429) or up here through RPGuild PMs, and I receive donations and payment through my Ko-fi page. Clicking the box right below here will take you to it.

I'm a nerd. I play Pokemon religiously, I dabble in some anime, I write up here, and I love watching incredibly awful movies and just making fun of them. Specifically things like "Leo the Lion" and what not.

I don't have much else to say, so I guess I can leave you guys with a really bad joke.

"What do you call a cow with two legs?"
"Lean beef."

Yuno - Leading the Way

Well well, look at Mister Smooth over here... at least until he didn't actually kiss her hand. What a cocktease that was. He liked playing hard to get, or at least, that's how Yu interpreted it. Hopefully he wouldn't mind if the feeling was mutual and she played hard to get. He already had a tough road to go down, but whatever kind of aura he had around him was making something happen. Something good for him, definitely.

Then Grant allowed Yu to lead the way. That... that wasn't the best idea for the group. "I would love to lead the way... but... I-I don't know where I'm going." Honest answer there. Yuno didn't have the ticket on her person, so she didn't know where the ticket was meant for. Plus, she was more okay with walking behind Grant than in front of him. He was just... she was afraid he'd try and grab her by surprise. He didn't seem like the guy who would derive any sort of pleasure from it, but still, he did seem like the guy who would find pleasure at watching her squirm.

In hindsight, maybe keeping Ketsu around is a good idea. Grant wouldn't do anything to her if Ketsu was around and witnessing the events. At least, she hoped he would do something about it if that point ever came up.

Instinctively, Yuno's hands reached into her bag and pulled out the Iron Grip and simply began to squeeze and release the claw in the air. There wasn't any distinct reason for it aside from a way to calm Yuno's nerves. Maybe Grant would turn out to be a good guy in the long run and this was her just being paranoid. Maybe. Hopefully.
"Tome? Like, 'On the Subject of Souls?'" Maggy asked aloud, looking at you and Brock. After a second of realization, Brock spoke up to answer Maggy's question with another question. "Damn, you're that much of a fan?" Maggy followed up with a nod and began to talk about the tome... or what she knew about it. "I thought you cursed that tome to where it could only be used by someone as unnatural as you... no offense."

Brock turns to you and rubs the back of his spine. "I don't know how your boner sniffed this girl out, but I like her." Jen facepalms at the attempted pun before generally disproving of Brock's actions. Brock then returned to Maggy. "I guess Yashar fell under that category, then? Although, if what Tobias here said was true, then he should be able to use it just as well." Brock pulls the tome out of his shirt, Jen's attention caught by it, and he slides it in front of you.

"If you can use it, so can Yashar."

"Bye Miss Yamada!" Xoxi cheerfully said as she left the room with her, turning off on her own path as she proceeded to her room. She was free again, and free to cause some mayhem... well... maybe "mayhem" was a bit of an exaggeration. "Beating-everyone-at-Smash-Bros" was a bit more accurate than "mayhem". Thankfully, with some cash Xoxi had saved up, she had bought a Wii on her own accord. Well, she had someone else buy it for her because she didn't have arms and she didn't want to blow her cover, but that's besides the point.

Xoxi entered her room, grabbed her Wii with her psychic hands (already unplugged from the last time she did this), along with a bag of controllers, and headed off for one of the meeting rooms in the Zenith. She had done this before without getting yelled at, so she figured "why not try it again?"

Xoxi placed the Wii and the bag down onto the ground before plugging the console into a projector and switching it on. A psychic hand flew over towards the light switch as the other drew a crude sign on a piece of paper, putting some tape on the paper, and placing it on the outside of the door. The sign read "Smash Brothers going on. Soda optional."

Once everything was set, Xoxi plugged in her trusty-rusty Gamecube controller and began to warm up her skills in a brawl.

Yuno - Interesting Boys

Yuno was a bit intimidated by the presence of not one, but TWO superiors to her as she stood there. She couldn't help but nervously stutter out a response to Ketsu. "I-I'm Yuno Jericho... b-but you can call me Yu!" Ugh. Yu? Really? You could've done better than that, probably. Whatever, it's kind of cute.

Honestly, it was a bit odd standing there in front of Ketsu like that. She heard of his accomplishments through the grapevine, and they made her a bit embarrassed. He was able to pass with effectively flying colors while she struggled to the point where she barely passed AND got the desk jockey job. This guy was able to get a Rank II easy compared to her. In a way though, Yuno still respected him to a large extent. He had a commitment she could never fully have, and that was pretty cool.

Plus, there was just something about him. She didn't understand it, but she liked it.

Grant, on the other hand, was motherfucking creepy. Like, not the kind of creepy you'd get from just a dark room with a single chair in it, but rather if there was a single music box on the chair playing carnival music. Slowed down carnival music. Slightly distorted, but not distractedly so. Either that or he seemed like the kind of guy that would watch you at night and reassure you that it would all be over soon, although you never really understood what he truly meant by that. He didn't really speak with inflection, more or less he just rose his voice very slightly to simulate it.

Yuno understood now what that document meant.

She stood there, slightly discomforted as she spoke again. "Well... I don't want to be rude!"

Who was gonna pass that opportunity up? It was free coffee! Wonder if they would mind Jenga there...
"... we... don't like to discuss him around here..." Maggy's tone went into a more somber sense before she continued. "Yashar and my dad worked together until my father passed... the two never agreed on things. My dad taught me that the way Yashar taught was centered around fighting, when all problems could be resolved with peace. I learned a bit from both of them, nonetheless, and here I am." Maggy took a pause as Aithwale ate another piece of salmon. "We saw him a while back, but he seemed to be afraid of Papa Bear here," Maggy patted Aithwale on his furry head as the bear growled affectionately.

Jen asked a question to Maggy when she was done explaining. "To get this on a better note, what... are you? A dwarf? Elf?" Maggy thought about it for a second before finally responding. "Half gnome, half elf. They normally don't mix, and I'd say ask my parents... but..."

Parents were a bad topic. Noted.
"While you think of your question, I want to ask one." Maggy drops the tape as she looks towards Brock. "Is that really the Brock Sinclair?" The skeleton turns around and nods before bowing to Maggy. "Oh my gosh, you have no idea how much of a fan I am of your work! The work you did with chloromancy and botany was remarkable!"

"What can I say? You're welcome, Magdalene."

Jen scoffs as she holds her own hand up, whispering something to the light emanating from her palm. The Light, she always called it. She waits for an answer in the silence while Maggy continues to drone on about Brock's works.
You make it back out into the open as you return to Maggy's magic shop.

Everyone's sitting around the table as Maggy patches her torso up. Jen is watching over the girl and keeping a watchful eye on Brock. Speaking of Brock, he's busy looking out of the window and watching the giant plant snake he called "Charlie". You could tell he really loved that snake. Aithwale sits beside Maggy, a plate of raw salmon strips beside him that he occasionally snacks on. Gobbo has a small spell book in front of him, diagrams for incantations and various spells clearly on the page.

Maggy finally speaks up to break the silence. "I guess we should explain some things, huh?"
"Alright kids, shutting down the turrets in ten, nine..."

The guns around the facility stopped shooting when Tibulus finished the word "nine", as if they had shut down. The one exclusion was the turret on the control room, which began firing at possible obstacles in the paths of the rest of the Revenant's crew and at random areas. Although, the areas weren't actually random, rather strategic cover spots for the crew members to use in order to not die horribly. Hopefully they'd use them.

Tibulus finally came back on the comms with three words. "I got bored."
A few seconds of silence pass as you wait for an answer before a large plant snake bursts through the side of the wall near you, Brock climbing out of it's mouth, clearly with alcohol-soaked clothes. "YEAH CHARLIE!"

Jen squeezes through the gap between the tunnel and the snake as she runs into the room, grabbing Maggy and lifting her up off the ground and into her arms. Aithwale is a bit apprehensive at first, but backs down when he sees that it's a paladin.

Gobbo runs in afterwards too, sprinting over to you and hugging your leg. "Hello again Tobiash! Are you hurt?"
Bonesword - Calcium Comeback

Bonesword laid in the food storage area unmoving for a few seconds. He felt his head ache incredibly hard, and that wasn't even the half of it. He didn't land in just the food storage. He landed on the fridge, in the food storage. It cracked open from the impact, and honestly, the skeleton felt like he was dying right there.

Then, he felt something wet touch his foot.

Milk.

A gallon of unopened milk, fresh as it could have been, bled onto the ground as it was cracked from the impact of Bonesword into the fridge. As the skeleton's sight began to darken, he rolled over as a last movement onto the milk and began to mimic the action of drinking it. Well, lapping it up. Well, doing something that would be conceived as consuming it. His sight returned to him as the skeleton lifted the gallon off of the ground, pouring it down into his skull whilst grabbing his sword at the same time. Soon, the gallon was empty, but the calcium rushed back into Bonesword's body and fixed it, even repairing the crack. "Oh my GOD MILK IS THE BEST!"

He was back, Krabbe needed milk, but most importantly...

He had an idea.

A bold idea.

Bonesword climbed up into the deck above him and saw the key part of his idea. A cannon. He rushed over to it and began to sprout large, viney grabby hands around it as it was loaded and ignited. It had to be precise.

The vines threw the cannon upwards, breaking the wood of the upper deck, and aiming it directly at Saban. The grape shot missed the skeleton, and the cannon fired immediately after it broke through the deck.

There was a loud boom, but the shot didn't connect immediately, for sure.
