"I WOULDN'T DO TH-she's gone." Xoxi tried stealing a soda from Praetor's fridge once. It was actually successful until someone noticed the broken windows. Eh, whatever. Xoxi got a soda out of it.

"She seems pretty happy to lose to a girl with no arms, that's for sure," Xoxi cockily said as she quit out of the match and returned to a character selection screen. It revealed that Xoxi was playing a bit of Ganondorf. Ah, Ganondorf, the slowest but burliest character in the game. One of the harder ones to play as, too, but it seemed she was alright with it.

Nola talked a bit about Yamada before an interesting question came up. How Yamada could "untrigger" people. "Holy crap, that's crazy. Is untriggering even a thing?" Xoxi asked with a bit of skepticism. That sounded pretty fishy to her.

Yuno - Coffee Cup Careful Characterization

"Hello!" Yuno cheerfully said as she put away her quinque into her bag, feeling the troves of random objects in her bag, including the Jenga blocks. Why did she carry Jenga around, again? Probably to act as a throwing weapon in a pinch, but why would she be in a pinch if that's what her claw did? It didn't make sense to her. If she was the one pinching, why would she be in a pinch.

Bah, whatever. She was getting a free drink. She didn't have to worry about the Jenga blocks right now.

Yuno calmly walked over to where you place your order as she thought about what she wanted to order. She actually didn't like coffee that much, but the menu had hot chocolate. Perfect deal. Plus, it was cheaper than the coffee, which meant less money out of Grant's pocket. Afterwards, Yuno turned to go and nab the trio of investigators a table.

The walk there was a perfect time to think about the two of them.

First, Grant. Ok, so, the guy didn't seem like he was threatening Yuno, at least, not enough to worry about. He honestly just seemed kind of... detached from reality. Like he was there, but at the same time, he wasn't there. It was pretty creepy, but if he was the superior and partner to Yuno, she'd have to learn how to get along with him. His file said something about him being emotionally absent, so all of his actions were still fitting despite them being not. Who knows? Maybe Yuno would be the person to make him feel again. Not sexually though. That was gross.

Then there was Ketsu. He seemed fine, if not pretty damn... not really attractive. He looked rather plain to Yuno, to be honest. He was magnetic, however. It made Yuno feel good to just be around him. Not to mention he seemed like a good guy, letting her walk on the side opposite of Grant on the way over. Maybe he meant something else by that and didn't just want tensions relieved? It was a sweet gesture nonetheless, and it definitely weighed him in Yuno's favor.

Yuno sat down at one of the tables as she looked over at the guys, waiting for them to come over as well.

The Narrow Path

As soon as you open the book, Jen's mace flies over and clocks it out of your hands. Clearly she's taking note of how you tried to do some dark magic.

She tries to stand up, but falls forward onto the ground with a thud as she holds her tent, clearly a bit annoyed at how embarrassing that was. "... c-could you... pitch it...?"

The Narrow Path

As you pull Jen out from under the beast, you notice that her ankle is... well... for lack of a better word, fucked. It's bent in a terrible way that would seem excruciating to you, but Jen is handling it surprisingly well. "... r-rest... I need rest..."

As she says this, you feel the latch on the book release, allowing you to open it, should you dare to. The noise goes unnoticed by Jen, however, as her own face lights up. "My tent...! It is right there!" she exclaims as she points to her belongings, hastily grabbed by Brock on the way out. Thank God he dropped it.

Jen is... largely the same that she was the moment her nose exploded blood out of it. The worst thing that happened was she had a busted lip, but for the most part everything appears fine on her.

"It was fine, until we could not locate you... then they attacked and caught the others... the pet of Brock did not make it..." Jen explained as she coughed some more, a dark smile appearing on her face. "... but... not all is bad..." she chokes out the words as she tries to push herself up, barely able to lift a bit off the ground, but you could still see what the point of her lifting herself up was.

The tome was under her, unscathed. "Brock threw it... I hid it..."

The Narrow Path

You sprint through the brush in pursuits of your friends, only to find the sight of a scuffle where a giant snake made of plants lies motionless, a paladin underneath them also motionless.

The area around you has been burned, manipulated, and downright exploded in multiple places, a few bodies of orcs and skeletons lay on the ground dead for sure as Jen finally coughs, her voice bringing sound to the unnerving silence of the woods.

"... T-Tobias...?" She utters, her voice waiving. She's not doing good at all.
