They are both veterans who are highly respected.

Do they have any official ranks or titles we should be addressing them by, or should we just keep things casual and refer to them as things like Chief, Boss, Ma'am and Sir?
@Dragonite777 Needed a job? In this glorious Tory Future we live in, where everyone's lives are so happy and joyous that they can afford to take a four car convoy down to their local pub for sunday lunch with their families and security escorts before leaving their kid alone with a group of strangers for several hours? Whyever would she need a job? :p
Walking into the shop Condor's eyes quickly glances around the room, casing possible exits and assessing any items lying around which could be used as weapons if it came to needing them. As expected there appeared to just be the one young woman manning the counter, but at least four security cameras were set up around the room, making it difficult to hide anything she and Birdseed might try.

@Dragonite777 "Excuse me. Miss?"

When Birdseed started to speak the girl looked over at the two of them and Condor flashed her a friendly smile, gritting her teeth with anticipation to see what her partner had planned for them. The girl appeared bored, flicking through a magazine and watching the seconds tick by on a clock in front of her, waiting for closing time. Either the girl was one of the best trained agents Condor had ever seen, keeping her cover so completely even in front of potentially hostile strangers, or she was just an innocent who had no idea what this place really was.

@Dragonite777 "Yes, hi. Um, we were wondering if you knew what kind of camera system you guys use?

Condor spaced out a little as Birdseed dealt with the counter girl, drifting over to one of the shelves and pretending to admire some of the plants on display while at the same time carefully blocking two of the cameras lines-of-sight so they wouldn't be able to spot Birdseed's receiver as she adjusted its settings.

@Dragonite777 "Let's hope Kheshig has the cameras on some loop in the back, cause it's gonna be hard. We forgot to plan for a cameraman tech. Let's sneak in here and plant bugs ourselves. Couldn't resist not grabbing two from the lab before we left."

Condor wanted to stop her colleague where she was, their part of the plan was for distraction and only provide support if Kheshig ran into trouble. Having two agents trying to plant bugs at the same time would make things more difficult for everyone, but before she could say a word Birdseed had already spiked the lock with an EMP and slipped through.

"Dammit!" Condor swore to herself, glancing up at the cameras. If someone had been watching the feed their covers had just become a lot more complicated to keep in place, what sort of innocent person carries EMP charges around with them, let alone using them to break into a store's stockroom. Quickly reaching up for her earbud Condor reported back to @Jangel13 Archangel, "Birdseed's off book, repeat Birdseed's off book. Tell Kheshig to cover, things may get hot."
@ArenaSnow If you just make it that Thasseldar was talking to Domaku rather than 'the one he just tapped' then it should work out fine. :)
Hroot only 'Ents out' when it's absolutely necessary, like when the party's about to be overrun by darkspawn closing in from all directions. Most of the time she'll be a ghostly presence drifting across the battlefield trying to keep everyone's health up, and occasionally striking at enemies with a spectral blade.

Of course, when she does need to the bodies will be piling up so fast we'll be fighting in the shade.
When i mean use, I mean like, have Mako and Raleigh interact with your character pretty much when you want (obviously unless someone else has their character talking to them)

*Tommie grabs a bottle of shower gel and a sponge*

Tommie: "Hey Mako, I have a very important mission for you..."

Just to check, if this story is running nine years after the events of the film, and taking the rank of 'Ranger' as equivalent to a Lieutenant, would Mako and Raleigh be Majors now, or possibly Colonels due to their outstanding achievements?

Based off of standard British army promotion scales; which would put Lieutenant as upto 3 years service, Captain typically upto 8-10 years and Major after that with promotion to Colonel based on performance and achievements after at least 12 years active service.
i should probably ask the others, which Jaeger(s) are liking more and would want to be assigned to?

I went with the Dragon since Tommie's background lends her to solo work better than piloting as part of a drift pair, she wouldn't want anyone wandering into those memories of Budapest after all.

The Dragon since the whole sonar deal would seem to be good for someone with a Comms career path, making use of sound waves and noise making equipment n'all, but if there's any conflict I'd happily switch out to the Crystoff instead. I'm sure Tommie wouldn't mind getting her hands on the lovely little latina either.

Also, to everyone, remember you guys can use Mako if you want to.

In what way do you mean 'use' her?

*Tommie raises an eyebrow with interest*

WIll there be an option to take other 'red shirt' NPCs as drift partners if people can't find appropriate co-pilots, or do we not have enough Jaegers to do things like that?
Updated, is that better?

Looks good to me. Cant's wait to watch you turn into a cloud of blood, force yourself down someone's throat and then explode out from inside them. >D

Does that make me a bad person..? :3

I just have got to point out that even the random mage mooks you fight have enough sense to hit you with their magically charged rods/staves, if I remember right. They aren't just at the level of the main characters.

Work with what you got, ehh? If I had their magical powers I'd probably be trying to find ways to freeze blood while it's still inside them, filling their bodies with hundreds of little daggers. >D

Those guys were just so unoriginal, always churning out the same spells and never trying something new.
Tomiko Fraser - Floor 1 - Main Hangar

Tommie's foot bobbed to the steady beat of her iPod as the tunes filled her ears. She'd been at the Shatterdome for a few days, ever since arriving on their doorstep with an almost factory new NA-07 Deep Sea Dragon, which she'd managed to get built from spare parts by her black market contacts, and she'd finally found the perfect spot to listen to her sounds in peace.

Looking down from her perch high over the central hangar she spotted a flurry of unusual behaviour, something which her made her 'recon ops' reflexes tingle. She had a gift for noticing the small details others sometimes overlooked and the arrival of a helicopter full of unfamiliar faces was something that practically anyone would notice. With a quick sigh she pulled off her headphones and quickly stowed them on her belt before unclipping an ascender which had been stored beside her little noise maker.

Attaching the grapple carefully Tommie hooked her foot into the device and stepped off the gantry. It took a second of freefall before the line snapped tight, catching her in midair before gently slowing her pace as the ground glided up to meet her. With a quick snap she retracted the line, ignoring the cries of one of the dockworkers who was almost hit by the grapple as it reeled back into the small device.

With a bounce in her step Tommie quickly crossed over to the newcomers, a warm smile on her face and eyes quickly scanning over each of them, checking for signs of concealed weapons and unusual body language which could signify a threat.

"Hello boys," She called out with a laugh, waving her hand at the group to signal to them where she was as she approached over the deck. "I'm PPDC Ranger Tomiko Fraser, callsign Razor, but you can just call me Tommie."
3:6 in the boy's favour, just need four more female recruits...

Just as fluff, Tommie's homosexual by the way, so she'd not be interested in any of you flyboys making passes at her.
Although I did catch her eying up Val in the shower one time.

Also, Tommie'll take the Deep Sea Dragon pilot slot, unless anyone needs a partner to drift with.

@Lennon79 Were you speaking to anyone specific in the IC, or would it be okay for Tommie to reply to you?
