Interesting abilities and traits. I didn't think of X energy for cost.

@rush99999 has. Several of Rocksmith's abilities have scaling effects based on the amount of Energy he uses to activate them.

Nickelback is a Meta-killer, she's designed to be able to easily defeat any character whose combat is based around overuse of skills. Against simple, highly-trained humans, with high stats but few powers, she'd be far more vulnerable.

Having said that though, with Defence of 35 and the option to heal at least 25 points each turn (if she concentrates on using Regenerating Flux all the time) she'd still be a monster to take down. Basically you'd have to hit her for 96 damage before taking into account any other buffs or team bonuses she may have in order to take her out with a single hit, without using any abilities to boost your own attack (since they wouldn't work against her.)
How would t he negeting of super-powers affect the people who's super powers are biologically natural?

She's a cyborg, whose power drains Energy from all attacks and abilities which target her, and who can drain Energy from targets by touching them. She wouldn't so much negate your ability to use your powers, it's just that while she's nearby the powers wouldn't have the results you intended them to have.

Callsign: Nickelback
Real Name: Aina Garcia Fernández de Sanchez
Role: Blitzer
Stats: 60 / 25(35) / 40(50)
Energy: 10
Power Origin: Tech
Power Set: Military Powerhouse
Abilities:
  • LIfe Drain - Energy Cost: X
Grabbing hold of her enemies, Nickelback drains them of their strength and vitality. If unpowered this ability may drain Energy from one target upto Nickelback's Attack rating. If powered Nickelback draws Health out of the target instead, upto the amount of Energy used to activate the ability. In either case the target is left Exhausted for two turns afterwards and may not regenerate any Energy by conventional means.
  • Seal - Energy Cost: 8
Concentrating her powers on a single target Nickelback may make a surgical strike, immediately inflicting the Sealed status effect and removing one of their traits for the duration of the engagement. The exact nature of this strike depends on what trait is being targeted but could include disarming an opponent, disabling their gear, removing a limb, performing a lobotomy or any other action which would be appropriate to rendering that target's trait nonfunctional.
  • Battery Pack - Energy Cost: X
Since there's not always a hand enemy around to leech her excess Energy into Nickelback carries a plentiful supply of suitable power cells to use instead. Nickelback may transfer any amount of Energy into a Power Cell and pass it to one of her team mates. The team mate may either store the Cell for later use or immediately use it to restore Energy equal to the amount stored to their own supply.
  • Regenerating Flux - Energy Cost: X
By channelling her Energy into herself Nickelback can heal her body, recovering from almost any wounds which have been inflicted on her. She instantly regains Health five times the amount of Energy used to activate this ability.
Traits:
  • Power Siphon
Nickelback draws Energy from her surroundings, even that used to power her enemies' attacks. Any attack or ability which would affect Nickelback is negated and the Energy used to activate it is absorbed by Nickelback instead.
  • Generator
Constantly producing excessive amounts of Energy, Nickelback gains +4 Energy per turn and may exceed her maximum Energy capacity when producing or capturing Energy by any means.
  • Overload
Whenever Nickelback finds her Energy reserves over had natural capacity she bleeds off the excess. While at base she transfers the Energy into portable storage cells, but on the battlefield she simply directs it into her enemies in a far less benign manner. At the end of her turn any Energy stored over Nickelback's maximum may be converted to a single energy-based attack which may be directed to hit any number of targets, dividing the total Energy between all those chosen.
  • Command and Control
As the head of AEGIS Nickelback always has a plan in mind and knows how to coordinate her troops to their fullest in combat. While she a member of the party all party members gain double their normal XP.
  • Armoury Keys
As she runs AEGIS Nickelback has access to all the latest military hardware from all around the world. While she's a member of any party all members of that party gain a +10 Attack Armed status effect and a +10 Defence Armoured status effect, unless they already have better gear equipped.

Race/Species: Spanish, Self-governing AI Construct
Gender: Female
Sexuality: ?
Age: You really want to try asking her that question?
Morality: Lawful(?)1; Neutral
Terms of Service: Volunteer(?)1
1 - Since Nickelback runs AEGIS she always follows the organisation's rules, although she has a tendency of making them up or changing them whenever she wants. She also works for herself, and so doesn't need to be paid and is fully committed to the organisation.
Chipmunks?

Nickelback: "He knows too much. Activate the bomb!"
Considering how volatile us indentured are I can scarcely imagine half the precautions, beyond the bombs, that AEGIS takes just to keep them from going off on a regular basis.

And that's just the way they like it, since if you could imagine them you could find a way around them and they'd have wasted all that time they spent eugenically breeding the chipmunks.
So Void won't be buffing his stats anytime soon xD. Eh well, I trust your judgement! I shall make the edits, once I figure out how to format them.

If you were thinking of needing more hitting power for him I'd be willing to let you upgrade the Void Saber with the ability to bypass 20% (rounded up) of an opponent's Defence for 2 Skill Points?

For opponents with a Defence between 1 and 5 this would work as a +1 to his Attack, but for 6-10 Defence it would be +2, and 11-15 +3 and so on, making it a better purchase than a simple +2 Attack upgrade if you're needing to take on tougher opponents (which you very shortly will be.)
Looks like Rocksmith will be needing his convenient escape chord soon.

Which should be fun to watch as Nickelback has the ability to suppress all superpowers within close proximity (the exact size of the base), which means Rocksmith's little tune will do little more than mildly entertain her for a few seconds.

What's Kepler-186f?

An extra-solar Earth type planet detected 490 light-years away, orbiting a red dwarf star.
First off: Who's Nickelback?

The head of AEGIS, the girl who signs the pay cheques, for those of you working for one that is. She's also the one with her finger on the button controlling the microbombs implanted in the skulls of those operatives under indentured service.

And also the one who's currently awaiting Rocksmith's return so he can explain exactly why he thought blowing up a helicopter in the middle of a densely populated urban area was a good idea.

Good-night, sleep tight, don't let the NightFlares bite.

There's more than one of them?

That's it, I'm moving to Kepler-186f.
It could be worse. Nightbeast could hook up with Heretic.

Nickelback: *stares in disbelief at the deep smoking crater where the headquarters used to be* "What the hell happened to my base?"

Nightingale: "I'm not entirely sure. One minute deimos was handing out punch for everyone, then everything went a little woozy and I woke up naked in her quarters with the alarms going off..."

Ironside: "We had a Code 1169, Ma'am."

Nickelback: "...oh fuck... ...Did anyone check the insurance to make sure the Horny Nightbeast premium was paid up-to-date?"

Speaking of headquarters, where would people like the home base to be located? In the desert, the antarctic, orbital space station, seabed observatory, artificial island, transdimensional sentient spaceship in near-Earth's orbit..?
Flare wants Nightbeasts Gloves Are Off! ability really bad, since i'm building him to have super high health, and the ability to restore it. Gonna have to get me something like that.

Well you can't have it, it's hers. The only way you could come close to having it would be if Flare and Nightbeast somehow had a kid together and they inherited their father's fire-based skills and their mother's fighting skills...

*voice trails off as she pictures the potential devastation that could be caused by baby NightFlare (FlareBeast?), not to mention what could happen to the base if Flare and Nightbeast hooked up even for just one night*

...No! No, no, no, no, no!
@Genni yes 5 skills, 1 def, 1 atk, 15 hp. Added fuel for the fire thanks for catching that.

With Fuel For The Fire you've said "While Fueling any time Flare deals fire damage he gains HP equal to half the damage dealt for two turns." Does that mean you're expecting him to lose the Health again after two turns, or only that the Fueling effect lasts for two turns?
