This looks like an awesome alternate universe. Whether or not I get in I'd love to keep up with the story and see where it geos from here

Name: Kai "Blaze" Sorava Age: 19 Gender: M Element: Fire Appearance:  Pleas ignore the fire on his head  Abilities: Of course, Kai can control fire as a fire bender, which allows him great offensive abilities such as fireballs, spouts of flame and anything else really. He is not incredibly powerful yet so don't expect him to go supernova but he can continuously onslaught his enemies with attacks for a good time. His defence is limited to a firewall he can bring up in front and around him however this is not very strong. He also knows free-running (at a mirror's edge level). Other than this he has a basic know-how of how technology works, due to the society everyone lives in. As a fighter, he is not a majestic one nor a very quick one but uses his strength and damage potential which results to him brawling it out in a hand to hand fight so if it wasn't for his bending abilities then martial artists or anyone with actual skill that hasn't derived form street fighting would have no problem beating him in a fair one on one fight although he will always try to persevere, no matter the odds. Personality: Brash, hot tempered and a bit of a live wire. Kai lives for thrills and does this through many ways such as starting fights to free-running (nothing showy, just at a mirror's edge level that's all)across the rooftops of the city. He can become very aggressive however when he finds friends he will become compassionate and treat his friends warmly, and defends them before himself, even if his best defence is a good offence. He rarely lets up and will see a task done and stay true to his points of view, making him honest but sometimes overly so. Excitement easily gets the better of him and challenges, mysteries and adrenaline rushes can become priority sometimes. Quite simply, he lives for a good time Brief Bio: Before starting to use his fire powers, Kai was a troublemaker in school but as he would stand up to bully's and those who oppressed people they didn't deem "worthy", this landed him in lots of physical fights. He then discovered free-running as a way to escape school life and get away from responsibilities. He would be gone hours after school simply for a run. He first started using his powers half way through a fight where a gang tried to jump him in an ally when he was 16. Nearly beaten, Kai lashed out in a last-ditched attempt, unfortunately sending about fireballs from the palm of his hands. These didn't hit anyone but that still scared the gang away, since then, Kai has been messing about, using them to feed his adrenaline addiction to this day.

He treats all people equally and is outgoing, goofy and rarely shy. He also displays selflessness, having even defended the bully Cardin Winchester who had previously persuaded Jaune to do his dirty work for him, and is honourable, keeping true to his word due to his family motto to never go back on one's promise. As team leader of JNPR, despite having maybe the worst combat skills of the four, he feels a sense of responsibility for his friends of Team JNPR and Team RWBY. Despite usually being easily intimidated and scared, once the battle starts, Jaune's fears are replaced by his brash attitude, causing him to jump in headfirst without considering the risks. This causes him to be predictable when fighting, foregoing defense in favor of offense. Jaune's will remains strong even when outmatched by his opponents, especially when he is trying to protect someone or aid them in battle. During his fights, despite taking several highly-damaging attacks, Jaune keeps pressing on his opponents, refusing to let their assault intimidate him. This trait remains even during conversations with other people as Jaune never contradicts himself and can be harsh but always honest with answers. Abilities/Weapons: In the RWBY universe, people have what's called a semblance- the manifestation of one's innate and personal power as an ability, unique to each person. However Jaune has only recently unlocked his so no one is quite sure what his is, leading to a reluctancy to work on it, however it is believed to be protective and has been triggered but only on instinct. His weapons are more old-fashioned compared to the gun/melee weapon hybrid most students have as he only has a shield, which is large, white and have two golden arcs (one on top of the other) on the front in the centre (it can also shrink down to size when Jaune carries it however it still weighs the same xD) and Crocea Mors, his sword which he describes as a hand-me-down from his great, great grandfather who fought in the war. Both are extremely durable despite the age so he has great defence compared to his not so good offence. Backstory: Jaune comes from a lineage of huntsman and huntresses, however he had forged transcripts to get into Beacon Academy, one of the most prestigious combat schools in Vale. Over the years his training with his team has allowed his skills to develop over the time he has been at Beacon so now his swordsmanship has improved allowing him to carry on the tradition of become a huntsman. Using multi-verse travel he stays with his team and tries to be with other friends such as the members of Team RWBY as much as possible, however like his friends he strived to join the UMMA for the greater good of all universes.
